I posted about these HUGE ponies in a field a few months ago - a chance sighting when just passing by! These photos are from another camera I have (that I finally remembered to download).
These ponies were apparently part of a Blackpool Illuminations scene, and were sold off many years ago. Eventually these two arrived here in this field, delighting and surprising people like me!
These are In Stockport, on the Buxton Road, at the junction with Norbury Hollow road.

Do you know who the pony is wearing the pointy little wizard hat in the Blackpool illuminations pics?? :0 she's so cute
Yes indeed, that is Princess Royal Blue, aka Princess Sapphire in the UK (where the Princess ponies had gem names)!
In the US these ponies came with bushwoolies (shown) but in the UK they each had a dragon companion in Spike's mold. Princess Sapphire's dragon, Smokey, is blue.
Here's a picture of Blackpool Illuminations Princess Sapphire all lit up back in the day:

Blackpool Illuminations: Lighting Up the Coast in Spectacular Style
The Blackpool Illuminations is one of the UK’s most iconic and long-standing annual events, drawing millions of visitors to the seaside resort each autumn. Known as the “greatest free light show on Earth,” the Illuminations stretch for over six miles along Blackpool’s famous Promenade, featuring dazzling displays of lights, themes, and artistic installations that bring the coastline to life from late August to early November.
Since its inception in 1879, the Blackpool Illuminations has evolved into a beloved tradition, attracting tourists who come to witness the spectacular lights along with the family-friendly atmosphere that Blackpool offers. Each year, the event showcases a variety of themes and new installations, with designs from local and international artists. Some sections feature vibrant animated displays and intricate tableaux, while others highlight unique, interactive LED installations. The lights draw on contemporary themes as well as classic seaside motifs, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
One of the most popular ways to enjoy the Blackpool Illuminations is by taking a tram ride along the Promenade. The historic Illuminated Heritage Trams, decked out in colorful lights, offer a unique experience for visitors to enjoy the lights while traveling along the scenic coastline. There are also designated walking areas for close-up views of the most intricate installations, from the comedy-themed Laughing Cow displays to the historic seafront light-up features.
With live entertainment, fireworks, and a range of food and drink stalls, Blackpool Illuminations offer an engaging, festive experience for visitors of all ages. The event brings a significant boost to the local economy each year, helping to cement Blackpool’s reputation as one of the UK’s most popular tourist destinations in the autumn and winter months.

Here's a whole selection of photos of Munchy with some surprise huge My Little Pony figures that are just standing in a field by the Buxton Road in Stockport (junction with Norbury Hollow road). Quite a startling thing to see when just passing by on a bus!
Apparently they were once part of a display in the Blackpool illuminations, and these two, after who-knows-what adventures and other homes, have ended up here.
Plus a view of them on Google Maps:
