Summary: You’ve been dating Dean Winchester, which is nothing short of a fever dream. A brilliant fever dream. But when you decide to test him on how much he wants you, you don’t get the answer you expected to have.

A/N - Welcome to the Karak Chaii-verse! I had an idea to write Dean with an Indian POC, since I’m one myself. Creds to @zepskies and her brilliant Midnight Espresso-verse, and you should definitely check that out. This is a small drabble that I thought up.

Your family had moved to the US around a year after you were born. That’s because the monsters in India were far more dangerous than in America due to the origination of them from the depths of Indian mythology, such as a rakshasa or arunasura, but you found that here was far more escalated.

At least, you’d found out when you met the Winchesters.

You came from a long line of crazy good Indian hunters, so you were already a great one yourself. Back in India, your parents would pose as part of the CBI, but you had to resort to finding someone who could make you a believable FBI badge once you turned eighteen and got into hunting solo, which was around 1997. There you met Bobby Singer, who hooked you up with what he called the ‘All-American Hunting Kit’, which consisted of an array of fake IDs and a lore book. You were glad your training, done by your dad, was done by the intensity of monsters in India rather than here, otherwise it’d be harder to get by.

On a hunt for a vampire and wraith hybrid in Grant Pass, Oregon, you came across the Winchesters, the shorter of the two having dubbed the hybrid ‘Jefferson Starships’. That man was Dean, and you were taken by his charming, goofy attitude that switched to an attractive sort of intensity when faced with imminent danger. You just didn’t expect ‘imminent danger’ to be the mother of all monsters.

Once your parents had found out that you were hanging out with the Winchesters, who were at the centre of any and all supernatural trouble in America, they sent you a thousand calls telling you to get your ass out of there before you got killed. You being you, you didn’t listen. Not when you knew that you’d get withdrawal symptoms from not seeing the million dollar smile of Dean Winchester, which quickly won you over (and his lips too, which knew damn well what they were doing).

As for Sam, you quickly saw him as your little brother figure, who also helped you manage your unruly hair by recommending the right hair products that you now had stocked up. You’d both nerd over monsters, you’d tell him about all the ones you’d encountered in India while Sam told you stories about all that he and his brother had gone through.

Which was no less than a lot. And you thought India was a harder place to live, by what your parents told you. Here there’s the friggin’ Apocalypse.

Dean was obviously your favourite Winchester. He’d told you he really liked you about two years and a half after you met amid averting eyes and stammered words as he spewed compliment after compliment, standing there in the Bunker’s kitchen like a nervous melon in his grey robe, black shorts with hot dogs on them and black undershirt with fuzzy hair.

You’d cut his nervous ramblings off by pulling him in by the lapel of his robe, lips puckered in surprise as they met yours as the tangy taste of cherry and sweet, buttery pie crust flooded your taste buds and even more so when Dean quickly took control of the kiss, hands tangling in your hair and grabbing at soft curves like his life depended on it.

One thing Dean loved about you was your cooking. Your mom had taught you a wide array of Indian dishes that you could cook, and the moment the first bite of your rajma and rice graced Dean’s mouth, it was hook, line and sinker. You’d taught him how to eat chole bhature, roti and sabzi and which masala was which so he could know what the hell did you put to make him fall for you over and over again.

You were scrolling on your YouTube shorts one day when you came across a video of a woman asking her husband what his favourite snack was to see if he’d say her or not. You didn’t look like the definition of a snack right now, with your unwashed hair tied up in a bun that your mom taught you to do with no hair tie whatsoever in grey sweatpants, Dean’s undershirt and fuzzy mismatched socks, but you decided to try it out anyway as Dean came into the bunker’s living room, approaching you from behind with a delicate yet possessive cup of your chin and a kiss to your temple.

“Hey, sweetheart.” He greeted in that low voice of his that was effortlessly seductive even when he wasn’t trying, his hand sliding down to comfortingly rub over your chest and shoulder as he passed by. “Doin’ ok?” He sat down beside you, arm around your shoulder as his fingers began to play with your hair, warm green eyes trained on you.

You nodded, setting your phone aside. “Doing alright, yeah.” Then you decided to try out the question. “Dil, what’s your favourite snack?” You called Dean dil sometimes because it meant heart in Hindi, and he had yours.

The question got a chuckle out of him as he jerked his head to the right in amusement. “Awh, sweet girl, that’s hardly fair. I’d say beef jerky, but that new thing you, uh, introduced me to really raised the bar.” His brow furrowed in thought for a moment in contrast to the large grin on his face. “The aloo whatzitsname.”

“Aloo lachha.” You corrected with a giggle, barely holding back the urge to say what the answer was.

“Yeah, that. Or, uh, pie, but that’s a dessert and not a snack. Maybe that rajma stuff, but that’s a meal.” He continued rambling on any and all snacks he’d added to his palette since meeting you, until a bout of laughter from you slowed his roll. “What? What’s so funny, huh?”

“So… your favourite snack isn’t me.” You teased with a smirk, which got the cogs in his head turning. “You failed, sorry, honey.”

The words got a raise of his eyebrow and a slow and subtle roving of his eyes down your body and a bite of his lip. To him, you looked absolutely delicious. Like the best thing at a five star restaurant.

He stood up with a low grunt, facing you before grabbing you by your hips, hoisting you up so fast that you had to wrap your sweatpant-clad legs around his waist with a small shriek. “See, baby, that’s where you’re wrong.”

He leaned forward, capturing your lips in a bruising kiss that bordered on reverence and somehow the intention to devour at the same time, which had you moaning already. His tongue slipped into your mouth, briefly getting a taste and giving you the distinct flavour of the aloo chaat you had made for lunch mixed with beer before he pulled back and nipped your bottom lip, groaning at the feeling of your fingers now tugging at his hair.

“You…” Dean paused for a breath and a low chuckle, staring at you hungrily. “You are the whole damn buffet.”

Facts dumping time!

Alicia and Luke could have met before if he did the Lanceros course a year before or if Alicia waited a year to do it.

Jackson is stupidly handsome, but his attitude drives people away (not like he wants something with anyone anyway).

When Alicia, Edward and Elliot talk with each other, there are times that they speak so quickly that no one understand them.

Oficially, Black Tomb doesn't have any animal inside, not even a K-9 unit. Unoficially, there are three cats (Gun Powder, Potato and Frosty) and two dogs (Kaiser and Butter) inside the base and all the team take care of them.*

Alicia is learning Samoan and Malay on her free time, Luke is learning Spanish and Jackson is trying with French. Also Nicholas is making good progress with Russian.

Francis always cuddles with Alexander and Elliot, so you can find them asleep on the rest room on a pile really often.

They have a room inside the barracks just for the team, inside there are pictures of the team, prizes they won against other Special Forces teams, some souvenirs/memories of their missions and more. The plan is that, when they all retire, Wraith and her successors let them put inside the collection of the first badges of the team as a memorial for them. (Francis will end up being the one who will stay longer in Black Tomb tbh)

*Some things about the animals: Alicia and Jackson take care of Gun Powder, Edward cares of Potato and Alexander cares of Frosty. They're like their owners and Elliot is the one who brought them inside Black Tomb.

Kaiser is a chihuahua that absolutely HATES Luke and has chased him more than once, but stays with Elijah like nothing happened. And Butter is a beautiful doberman, the baby of the base too, that shares its time between Marcus, Francis and Nicholas.

    Angels and demons are a ubiquitous pair of entities for both Heaven and Hell respectively. Typically Angels are inclined towards light and demons are inclined towards darkness. This has no bearing on their alignment, just the nature of their being. Nothing is set in stone, however. A rare type of Angel occasionally appears, referred to as Dark Angels. These Angels are inclined towards darkness as opposed to light. These are not to be confused with Gray Angels, Angels whose affinity are both light and darkness. Typically these angels are more roguish and combative. Their abilities also focus more on darkness rather than light. Despite this, they often pop up in Heaven and are welcomed with open arms.

    Valentina was a dark angel who wanted to explore the Cosmos. She had always been the curious type, wanting to explore and experiment. Due to multiple incidents in the past, Heaven imposed rules stating Angels just can't go out and gallivant around all willy-nilly. If an Angel were to volunteer for certain tasks and jobs, this restriction is lifted. In Valentina's case, she joined the Warrior Angel Army. Despite what it seems, Heaven has to deal with threats that require armies on the regular. It ranges from outsider angels trying to overthrow Adonai to aberrations and interlopers causing trouble. Even the kingdom of Heaven needs defending from time to time.

    When Valentina joined the Warrior Angel Army, she was given equipment for battle. Her Armor was forged from a black hole, providing immense protection from whatever dare strike her. In regards to weapons, she was given two. One is a ceremonial longsword that stands as a badge signifying her status. The other was Grand Quake, a monstrous lance only an Angel can wield. The mighty and terrible lance has the ability to destroy an entire planet in one thrust. With her new gear, Valentina was excited to explore the Cosmos and she did... what she did not expect was a conflict in Heaven right after she joined. It is widely believed that multiple conflicts after this prompted her to leave Heaven.

    It should be noted that Valentina has not lost any of her honors, despite leaving Heaven and taking up residence in Hell. Adonai and the Archangels expected this to happen. She is still expected to take up arms if a conflict arises, little does Valentina realize...

Oh hey, my art back log is all taken care of. There are few outliers, but I got plans for those.

This is Valentina back when she resided in Heaven and during ULTRAMagic Prelude. You could say this is her entering the Unlight for the first time.

The armor is a reference to Berserk and my efforts to give Val more to her character. The wings... I'm working on that, but what you see is the general idea. As an aside, I used Archlord Krystia from Yu-Gi-Oh! as a reference.

The Fool – Alex Leighton “The Fool steps into nothingness, he knows no better, knows not the journey that lays before him.” A melancholic young man with dark hair and bright blue eyes, hands on the straps of his rucksack, ready to depart for another working day.

“For the last time; I am. Not. Dating. Spider. Man.” – Alex, before being forced to eat his words.

The Magician – Alixus, Asteriai Archon “One of the Archons of the Asteriai, akin to royalty, skilled in the arcane arts, proud yet playful.” The card depicts the great-trees of another world, The Magician stands in the foreground; dressed in shimmering robes of green and gold, blue eyes glinting through a horned mask, hands held out, a tome of esoteric patterns floats before him, above him a horned serpent chases its own tail in the symbol of the lemniscate.

“Let us continue our dance in private, Mihail…”

 The High Priestess – Alyssa Leighton “Always with one foot in the world of the Dead, she listens to the stories of the lost, and helps restless souls find peace.” Twin sister of Alex Leighton, she stands in wraith-like, ragged attire of her Supervillan persona, hood in her hands, long curls of dark hair frame her face and blue eyes narrowed with sorrow. In the background, there are swirls as if unseen spirits are present.

“Great. More cryptic bullshit from the spirit world.”

The Empress – The Twins “The Empress is a card of motherly guidance, femininity, and nurturing. She reminds us to be kind to ourselves.” The Empress is depicted by the twin sisters, colleagues, and friends of Alex, Lucia and Callista, standing back-to-back. Callista’s expression is sterner, her arms folded and eyes narrowed, Lucia’s expression is softer and move loving, her hands held out in welcome. Alex cannot and probably will never be able to tell them apart in any universe.

“You see the ass on that guy?” “Couldn’t miss it for the world.” – The Twins, admiring Miguel’s… assets.

The Emperor – The Vampire “The Emperor is a stoic figure of strength and authority, a ruler who is tough but fair in his judgement.” While most iterations of Miguel could fit, the Vampire stands in his rich and regal attire with the moonlit city behind him. Dark hair neatly slicked back, red eyes are looking at the viewer as he softly licks a smear of blood from one finger, fangs peeking out.

“In this case, The Emperor is a symbol; the master of the Vampires in London, though not an official title. Power belongs to those who take it…”

The Hierophant -  Scott Staland “The Hierophant is the speaker of higher powers, the guardian of the gates of life and death- although in this case, perhaps “truth and lies” would be more apt.” One of Alex’s co-workers, he stands dressed in his work attire, dark clothing with a brimmed cap, his name badge hangs by the cord of his lanyard. He is smiling keenly, Dark eyes stare down through his glasses, his phone is in his hands, fingers typing frantically. In the background, the faded messages of social media regarding Spider-man can be seen.

“Oh boy, this is gonna go viral…!”

The Lovers – Miles & Gwen “The Lovers is a card of partnership, union and duality. Their trust in each other gives them confidence and strength.” The Lovers depicts older versions of Miles and Gwen, dressed in black with white webbing, Miles stands upright, Gwen is inverted on the bottom of the card, the gravity of her hair implying she is hanging upside-down- they are separated by a thick pane of glass, yet both are looking at each other fondly.

“Trust me?” “Absolutely.”

The Chariot – The Merman “The Chariot is a symbol of self-control and willpower, a determination to achieve goals.” The Chariot depicts an underwater environment, an iteration of Miguel- a Merman with a long tail of red and blue- swims towards the viewer with one webbed, clawed hand reaching out, he is smirking playfully. On his back an iteration of Alex in a white diving suit hugs onto him for dear life.

“I will teach you to swim, walker…”

Strength – Mihail, The Bright Blade / Mihail of the Callisteri “Strength is a symbol of inner might, bravery, compassion, and focus. Qualities he understands and embodies well.” In the same world as The Magician, Strength depicts a tall and powerful warrior, clad in silver armour with an emerald cloak bearing the icon of a great stag. He holds a horned helmet under one arm, the other holds a large sword made of shimmering energy. Unmasked, he is revealed to be another iteration of Miguel, slightly pointed ears reveal his Fae-like nature, the wind ruffles his hair, and his expression is almost serene, at ease for a time.

“Looks like I’m breaking all the rules tonight…”

The Hermit – Alexander O’Hara “The Hermit is a symbol of solitude, a seeker of knowledge who disconnects from the world to find answers.” This card depicts an iteration of Alex, pressed against a shut door, as if he is using his own weight to keep it closed, the shade of a nearby table lamp has gone askew, casting him into bright illumination. He looks confused, or perhaps terrified, trying to keep out something or give himself time to think, alone. Something he has discovered has visibly disturbed him.

“… No! Stay away from me, I-impostor! Let me think!”

The Wheel of Fortune – The Glassmaker “The Wheel of Fortune symbolizes a change in circumstances, it offers a blessing, or perhaps a warning. “This too shall pass.”” The card depicts Alex in the attire of the Glassmaker, cradling his Uncle’s body in his arms, distraught. Spikes of glass erupt from the ground around them, and on a nearby wall, the Wheel of Fortune can be seen graffitied above them.

“If I’d known what I could do… You’d still be with us, uncle…”

Justice – Eric Leighton “Justice is the card of seeking answers. Its representative seeks to learn the truth, to find answers, and to unmask the culprits.” Justice depicts the uncle of Alex and Alyssa Leighton, the Metropolitan Police Captain, in his uniform, his hair is short and greying at the temples, lines of stress line his features. His eyes are narrow, stern and searching.

“I will find out who is beneath that mask, Spider-man. Then you and I are going to have a long talk.”

The Hanged Man – Henry Poe “The Hanged Man is a card of introspection and sacrifice. As he dangles upside-down, his world possessions fall from his pockets. Although, in this case, it would appear the sacrifice is not voluntary…” One of Alex’s co-workers hangs upside down, trapped and dangling from a spiderweb, tied by a thread of crimson light to one ankle. Upside-down, he looks at his own hands, desperately trying to pull loose the black feathers growing from his arms. Beneath him, the ground is already covered in feathers.

“… H-help… me…”

Death – The Raven “Traditionally, the card of Death represents deep change as opposed to mortality. But this figure may bring both.” The starry skies above are occluded by a mutated, winged figure. What little remains of Henry Poe, warped into a monster, diving straight at the viewer with clawed hands outstretched and mouth open in a silent scream.

“Y-yoooou…!!”

Temperance – Lyla “Temperance is the card of the middle road, of alchemy, of the blending of elements into a better form.” The card represents Lyla, smiling pleasingly, her glasses low on her nose, eyes watchful, yet seemingly completely at ease with the world. On the left side of her background are digital displays of orange screens depicting webbing, on the right side is a soft blue background with a glowing white tree with many branches, symbolizing two different approaches to the same issue.

“Miguel usually struggles with some things; like cooking, relaxing, fitting through some doorways- y’know what, I’ll just mail you the full list.”

The Devil – The Sociopath “The Devil is a card of obsession, oppression, and entrapment. Perhaps these are material yearnings, or perhaps something- or someone- has their claws into your life…” This card depicts a dark iteration of Miguel, face in shadow, yet his eyes and fanged grin are visible, he holds a terrified rabbit in his arms. Around him are puppets made to kneel, and pulled by strings of red light.

“SHE’S MINE, PUTA! MINE! YOU ALL ARE! MINE!!!”

The Tower – The Glass Spiral “The Tower is an omen of ruin and destruction; its appearance forewarns an impending disaster.” This card depicts a shining spire of glass, wrapped in a twin helix of glass spikes, towering over a ruined and burning Nueva York.

“Oh, look, it’s that Leighton guy again, give him the omen of ruin and disaster!” Alex, disparaging his sister’s tarot deck.

The Star – Stargazing “This card follows the trauma of the Tower, it brings hope, renewal, and the strength to continue with life.” Atop a flat roof, two figures can be seen reclining on a blanket, staring at the starry skies above, watching in delight as twin comets streak across the night sky, their tails entwined.

The Moon – Nyarlathotep “The Moon personifies dreams, illusions, and the unconscious mind. However, this harbinger is more likely to bring nightmares.” This card depicts two sleeping figures in the foreground, behind them, a masked figure with gold eyes tiptoes past, grinning with mischief or malevolence, more unworn masks adorn his clothing. Behind him a fantastical city is being choked by shadowy tendrils, a huge full moon illuminates the scene.

“Got my drinks, got my snacks, and my front row seat for the whole fuckin’ fiasco!”

The Sun – The Incubus “The Sun is a card of joy and abundance, love and radiance.
