327 goes into… just about everything: Part 8 Bitter CD, 1976. German car maker Biiter used Opel and Holden cars and components to make a range of vehicles. The CD (for coupé Diplomat) was a GT coupé based on the Opel Diplomat and using the same Chevrolet 327ci V8 as Opel's flagship model. Between 1973 and 1979 395 were made

Gilbern T11 (prototype).
Gilbern is not a name that immediately springs to mind when you think of classic British sports cars. In fact not many people know about the former car maker that hailed from Wales. And even fewer are aware of its exciting two seat, rear engined sports coupe project from the 1970s. Founded in 1959 by Giles Smith and Bernard Friese, Gilbern was Wales’ only car maker. Both the former butcher and the former German Army soldier succeeded in building a car company from nothing and for a time challenged the likes of Jaguar and Rover with the Gilbern Genie V6. By the time the company folded in 1974, over 1000 Gilbern’s had been built.
The story of the Gilbern T11 starts back in 1970 when the Welsh car manufacturer was looking for ways to expand their model range. While their fibre glass bodied cars proved popular, they were expensive and never sold in large numbers. As a result the small firm struggled financially and needed something different to turn their fortunes around. They decided to build a light and compact, rear engine, two seat sports coupe, handing over the design to Trevor Fiore. The project went from the clay model design stage to the production of a partially built prototype. The aim was to display the car at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show but that never happened. As the firm’s finances worsened, the project was cancelled and the T11 prototype along with the other three prototype chassis’ were abandoned.
When the firm finally went bankrupt in 1974, the partly assembled Gilbern T11 was taken home by its managing director where it stayed for a number of years. It was then passed on to the Gilbern Owners Club before changing hands again.  The task that the new owner lay ahead was huge. First of all he had acquired a car that had sat for decades. Then there was the fact it was an unfinished prototype. Restoring an old classic is one thing but finishing a car that never got beyond the prototype stage is another. Thankfully owner background as a mechanic meant he had the skills needed to get it done. And he had a vision that allowed him to put his own stamp on Gilbern’s wedge. If it had been anyone else I suspect the car would still be in pieces today.
The Trevor Fiore’s design really was a work of art, taking cues from many other exotic sports cars of the day. Its design echoes that of the De Tomaso Mangusta, the Ferrari Daytona and the Bitter CD. And of course there is the Montiverdi Hai 450SS. The similarities between the two are uncanny. While the Gilbern T11 did not have a V12 or a V8 powerplant, it made up for this with its striking overall design. You could park this car beside a Lamborghini Miura or a De Tomaso Mangusta and it would not look out of place. It looks that good! It does make me wonder then what Gilbern could have achieved if they had succeeded in taking the T11 to full production.

Just gonna have a little ranty rant
So it's fairly known if you follow me that I really love Evanescence.
I'm just saying I'm super disappointed with their decision to perform with skillet as an opener.
I just feel like you can't play it both ways you can't want to be seen as an LGBT ally and also have someone who is a Christian nationalist who has said a lot of anti LGBTQ stuff on the same stage. I'm not going to be in an audience with those fans. My humanity and my rights are not a difference of opinion. People who believe they should have dominion over this country because of their religion are not safe people. I'm disappointed evanescence is giving them a platform.
As much as Amy wants to talk about using her voice I think she's too afraid to alienate people and because of that she won't create an actual safe space for marginalized fans.

It genuinely pisses me off that there's so many so-called nu metal fans that only ever obsess over korn and slipknot on here.
i see limp bizkit too but more so as a joke rather than actually being fans of the music. i dont even personally think of slipknot as nu metal, and ive been a lifelong fan of them and the genre.
plus slipknot fans on here are BY FAR one of the most obnoxious and weird fan groups. very jarring to see the things they say about joey since his passing was pretty recent.

I totally get the temptation to power through a dog's health or behavioural issues just to finish a title but consider... not doing that...

I want really messy late prowldome set after everything starts to take a toll on Chromedome's conscience, but shortly before it gets so bad he tries to kill himself over it. Where Prowl repeatedly calls on Chromedome to do Sinister Things and Chromedome always answers and they always end up sleeping together afterwards.
Thing is, Chromedome does it as a bad way to cope with his actions and low-key as a form of self flagellation. Meanwhile Prowl doesn't even care how bad the sex is, he's just very proud because oh yes, Chromedome will always come back to him, they understand each other, ignorant to CD's decaying mental state.

When you watched K for the first time, what part/scene made you feel like the show is gonna be a favorite of yours?
Technically…none of them XD I actually wasn’t a huge fan of the show on first watch. What got me were the drama CDs, after the show was over. I suppose technically you could count the end of season one as grabbing me more or less, in the sense that I honestly hadn’t expected them to kill off Mikoto and was surprised enough by it that I decided to check out what the fanbase’s reaction was afterward. That’s when I ended up downloading one of the drama CDs, specifically the one with the Yata/Fushimi interview and the Private Hero drama. That’s actually the real point where the series grabbed me — the interview is fun but also had some points where I found myself suddenly very interested in Fushimi (that ‘nothing when asked what he likes is funny but also ouch).
Private Hero was a killer too, I think I’ve sung its praises before but there is so much great character stuff going on there. You get some funny moments with the whole ‘ha ha Fushimi is chasing Yata around everywhere he goes’ start but then it quickly goes into a very good dialogue between them that hints to a lot of things without saying it outright. My absolute favorite moment (and probably the moment this series pretty much had me for good) is when Yata says something along the lines of  “I feel sorry for you. You couldn’t find someone to save you” and Fushimi responds with “You? Feel sorry for me?”. The absolute bitterness Mamoru Miyano fills those words with is fabulous, perfect, no notes. At that point I moved on to the other side materials and pretty much never looked back.

Bitter CD, 1973. Presented at the IAA in Frankfurt 50 years ago this week the “Coupé Diplomat” was the production version of an earlier concept that had been designed by Opel’s the head of design Chuck Jordan. Based on Opel’s luxury saloon, the Diplomat and powered by a Chevrolet 327ci V8, GM Europe considered putting the concept on sale but when the decided against Erich Bitter took over the project. The fuel crisis of 1973 harmed initial sales but the CD remained in production until 1979 with 395 cars being made in all

i hate people that watch the eras tour every time or go about a million times and then say it's getting boring. it's not, you're just seeing it more than you should. concerts were not designed to be this available to the public.
(I know this is not a new take but it needs to be said more)

has anyone purchased the digital download of the anthology version of ttpd (or any album i guess) and then burned it onto a cd to play in the car? i want to know if the downloads have the same quality as physical media (because streaming sounds like crap through my car compared to the cd and i really need to experience the anthology tracks that way)
