utysd clover, dee, meroyah and snug doodles. yes thats their name. snug is the best one ever i will fight you on this.

dee isn't a completely nice person if it wasn't evident from how i drew his first two designs as either snarky or intimidating, though he isnt terrible either? stuck inbetween, like asriel between life and death haha. dee is a nickname, his full name you could probably get very quickly so imma not say it yet. i think he'd be like a smartypants who is very blunt and laughs at the wrong things but doesn't go out of his way to be rude, just a lil spiky.

meroyah is a bundle of "i don't care but thats the unfair part actually, - freedom the flames of hope". a bunch of bark, some bite, but kinda ends up caring for clover. which knowing who they're based on makes them feel very very complicated. in their fight they just project to clover a lot. "aw are you hurt? you scared? are you gonna cry? or are you gonna suck it up, deal with it like a big kid would because surely that's what you're trying to be. trying and failing. you'll never grow up" then goes straight into a crisis. man i really really need to write out that fight its gon be so gooddddddddddddddd. meroyah just wants to get out of the pit of guilt whilst being the embodiment of guilt.

oh yeah and then there's the dog they found that nearly killed everyone single one of them. just a chill guy. the type of 'boss when you oppose it vs boss on your team'. very scary boss, very cute teammate. the only exception is it doesn't get nerfed as hard as it would.

clover is just stuck with a bunch of floweys that somehow DON'T want to snitch because they're in this cool magic trick state called utter guilt

meroyah getting along with clover is a rocky road. meroyah doesn't like them, though knows he needs help them to make things right. they don't get a long too much but they're alright. clover gets on their nerves a lot and meroyah makes that hella clear but they tolerate them. and royah cares for their survival in their own way. they don't panic or fret but try their best to pull them out of trouble then after that, back to bring aloof.

snug is just there bro

like. snug isn't really able to express themself humanely, the whole point is that they represent being seen as n object or subhuman being nothing more. but there's a clear humanity to them, just in other ways. like talking may be points and body language. they make clear expressions like of annoyance. ofc other members in self-deprecation demean snug, but clover doesn't. I mean, that's how they're probably seen to flowey, just a mindless tool that the resets affect on them doesn't matter for. so kinda of relatable.

oh yeah the 3 aren't tied to a specific gender I can call desriel she for all I care even if who she's based on is a he

clover out of everyone trusts desriel the most and he's completely aware of that and it kinda drives him nuts

he's being literally sometimes passive aggressive towards clover but they still have him as an anchor anyway

like if isn't always present but for say if clover's form around their soul is destroyed, they first use desriel for cover and protection

I have a funny thing with that where its.kinda hot potato because at that point clover doesn't have the strength to fight back so they just skip to the next teammate but now they're enemy #1

to expand on that one post, Clover keeps Des and the others around because they're really their only chance of not being caught by Flowey

sure they could betray them last minute, reveal to have been watched the entire time and directly by flowey or even unintentionally fail them, but there isn't really much else. they cannot defend themself alone especially deeper into the mind

also it's just better to forget the inevitable of facing him. it's going to happen so why avoid it. they just want to have a much as a not-terrifying-time as possible before then

so the dynamic of the team, complicated. desriel and meroyah hate each other and pick on each other and only joined because what they represent in floweys mind is almost the same type a guilt. snugg is just there.

no one's all goody and nice to clover but they aren't completely rude and demeaning just a bit more friendlier version of flowey to clover more noitcable later in runs. sarcastically blunt clearly stating annoyances and passive aggressive.

curiosity kills the cat nah man curiosity killed everyone in several timelines

first guardian in the subconscious, curiosity who is a cat tornado because i said so

also because flowey's curiosity ends in what ifs that he wants to follow from different responses in conversations to what changes if he kills someone, pretty evident in genocide

so why not flip the saying around

this is a very curious cat that destroys absolutely everything to find something new. it years for something different and is very happy when that different thing happens

and now this is clover's first obstacle and pillar. clover has never gotten here before. a brand new thing like this is intriguing therefore by legal obligation curiosity must tear them to death it is the only way i swear trust.

oh yeah i looked back at the doc apparently it would steal items midfight. imagine just having a healing item on low health and the car just stole it and next turn proceeds to hit clover with the "incredibly impossible to avoid" attack

Undertale Yellow: Surviving Death is an AU in which after reaching the end of many Neutral Route runs, Clover gains a weird sort of sixth sense from repetition. This time when they escape to Flowey's subconscious, instead of proceeding and being seen by Flowey, Clover begins to hide through the many corpses, eventually ending onto a completely new area of the deep part of Flowey's mind.

They encounter strong embodiments of emotions, memories and thought processes, three of which through a representation of guilt join Clover on their journey.

Broken and barely holding together their appearance, Clover has to regain their courage to face Flowey again at 5 points of Flowey's own motivation guarded by a reason for such high concentration of determination.

THE GANG 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥

CLOVER the main focus. After so many runs, they begin to settle in for Clover. While they don't exactly remember what happened, they have a sort of wary premonition of what happened and have an unexplainable urge to avoid certain actions. Matter of fact the AU is kicked off by Clover feeling wary to move forwards down the subconscious corridor and taking chances in the corpse wall. In their current state they are melancholy and never happy. They are constantly full of dread and hurt and have found it hard to feel remotely comfortable around the teammates they gain, but it's better to have some company than none.

DESRIEL is the figment of regret yet hope. They've been broken down over the years but still remain somewhat in tact, waning by each reset. He is a part of the subconscious that Flowey doesn't like to acknowledge which is convenient and the only way Clover was able to get out of being detected. He is often brash and outwardly rude, refusing to soften up or show any sort of "weakness". Deeply he knows he's screwd up big time and understands he's terrible and has come to do anything to try to at least stop himself, helping Clover on their journey. They're a good magic user, specializing in fire.

MEROYAH represents guilt, mostly survivors guilt. They resemble Chara intentionally, the outfit of mourning represent the never leaving stain of their death being "partially his fault". If he would've just fought back as Chara wanted, they wouldn't be dead. Yet despite it all, he "survived". His own existence angers them, tying themselves to a home resembling the old Dreemur House as an endless reminder, picking out golden flowers from their garden. They at first fight against Clover, though succumb to their own guilt and decides to join as a new assertive way to make things right. They're very adept at plant magic.

SNUG revolves around unimportance, chance. They're as others would see them, a mindless animal lab project nothing more for a test. Something to be not treated as a being, but purely off nature alone. They appear deep in the mind, one formed like a laboratory as an accidentally release, rampaging beast who after a while of chasing everyone, is confronted directly and weakened enough to fall back. They join the group saving them from Foxtrots (see Mind Beings) as the latest and last team member.

LOCATIONS

Each area in the subconscious appears different based on an amalgamation of thought processes and memories all accumulating in "zones". Each major zone hosts a Pillar of Determination, the goal of which to find all 5.

MECHANICS

Fighting - Using all the Determination they have, Clover shapes their own battle system in order to be able to fight back similar to the original but with an added surprise first attack if possible.

Resting - When brain eep everything dark so party rests so they aren't spotted traveling

Running Out of Time - Each encounter creates commotion and noise, making it not too difficult to grab Flowey's attention. For every encounter there's is a timer that when it runs out, Clover will be apprehended regardless of what they're doing.
