Mom got me a bonus birthday present: A book all about turtles! ✨📖🐢 My new book is filled with beautiful illustrations of all kinds of turtles by Stoneridge Art Studios (who also made our gorgeous spotted turtle print)! ✨🎨🖌 I was so excited I booped each and every turtle in the book and CHOMPed the cover tortoise several times! 👀😋🐢

🖌 - Do you have/want any tattoos?

A few months ago I would have said neither, but I'm actually planning to get a semicolon on my wrist as a birthday present to myself. I technically have some more ideas floating around my head but I'm terribly indecisive 😭

📱 - Favourite app on your phone?

Boring answer, but probably Spotify. I switch around between a couple of podcasts and otherwise I'm pretty much constantly listening to music. Closely followed by tumblr and WhatsApp, if I had to give a top 3.

First of all, a very happy birthday to one of the best characters in AOT, our beloved Hange Zoe! 🍰💖

On this occasion, we would like to announce our latest upcoming event- the LeviHan Artists' Workshop! 🖌

Here's a list of FAQs for more details:

WHAT'S AN ARTISTS' WORKSHOP? An artists' workshop is more of a roundtable discussion of submitted works. It's usually done by blind deliberation (we don't know who wrote the piece except for the artist and the facilitator) so that we can give impartial constructive criticism to the work. For new and budding artists, this is a great chance to let your works reach a wider audience.

HOW DOES THE SCHEDULE LOOK LIKE? We have a 3-week submission period for artists to send in an artwork (with a step-by-step process based on screenshots) + 1 week reading period + the workshop day itself. No prompt, just submit any piece you have that you want feedback on! We highly encourage the artists to send in unpublished pieces so they have the chance to improve them as well :) WHAT HAPPENS ON THE WORKSHOP DAY ITSELF? On workshop day, the participants (those who submitted their works) + panelists + anyone who's interested in providing feedback will join the workshop voice channel on our discord server. There are usually 3 questions for every work that hopefully all participants can answer: 1. What did you like about the piece? 2. What do you think needs to be improved upon or what wasn't clear to you? 3. Are there any advice or suggested reading material that we can give to the artist? Each piece gets to be discussed for 20 minutes, not restricted to the following: 5 minutes: Presentation of the work and the different stages/video. We will try to decrypt the process used 5 minutes: Appreciation/commentary on the work. We can rebound on pure theory like the theory of the colors or some tips 5 minutes: Open floor for the artist (or ask for a written paragraph in the form if they don't want to speak), so that they can say what they had trouble with, how they proceeded, and share some tips! 5 minutes: Q&A or reaction from people, and a moment of tips on the issues raised! Usually, the facilitator engages everyone in the discussion and summarizes all talking points in the end. Sounds exciting? Feel free to join and send in your work!

It’s Saturday and we are going to a #birthday party! Of cause I had to prepare a #birthdaycard and here’s how it turned out :) 🎨 Materials and Methods (includes non-paid advertisements) - card base ( from @aveccreative 20 postcards ) - white cardstock - embossing folder (circles) - chalk ink pad ( @decotimecrafts ) - 3D (Perl) paint ( @craftssensations ) - stamps - deco #flower - corner rounder - white deco rievet - tools (foam tape , paper cutter, … ) First, I covered my #embossing folder with my inkpad on one side, put my cardstock in it and run it through my diecutting machine with the right adapters. Next, I used my embossed background und trimmed my card base littlebit. I glued it down with one layer of foam tape and started decorating. Therefore I used a small leftover cardstock piece, trimmed it to the right size and made a hole on the top left corner. In addition I also rounded the corners of the piece and used the rivet along with the deco flower parts to fix it to the cardstock with the hole. Next I also stamped a sentiment on this piece and used an inkblending tool and the same inkpad as before to color the edges. Along with another layer of foam tape I stuck it on the background as well. To add a littlebit more interest, I also added some 3D paint dots it. 🖌Tips and tricks If foam tape is not avariable or expensive to you or you need another way how to add dimension, there are a few other techniques that can be used, such as - layering and gluing cardstock pieces together, - using thicker packaging cardboard from orders/ packages (it usually is lightweight because of a specific structure), - styrofoam pieces or even - plastic package leftovers which have dimension.
