Profile: Ram'tha Laran, also known as Lord Loathe, is known among the sith for his montrous physical strength and for his mysterious character. Always calm, barely talking... he never managed to gain sympathy from his colleagues. Despite his appearance (which made him look cold to others), he met a few people he learned to open up to, and to whom he showed his true colours: shyness aside, when he isn't busy with work he likes to study bioanalysis and take care of his house. His soft personality always shock the people who get to know him, and it makes them question how did he get such a reputation among the sith.

Backstory - Part 1:

Ram'tha was only six years old when a sith noticed him and decided to take him to Korriban. He showed a good ability with the Force, but since the departure from his homeplanet Iridonia, the sith quickly grew tired of the kid's innate calm and uninterest in proving himself worthy. Ram'tha only liked to touch and connect with the objects around him (he had a predisposition to psychometry), and barely communicated with the sith. After a couple of weeks the sith abandoned Ram'tha, leaving him to the dangers of Korriban. The quiet boy wandered without showing any fear, until Darth Thenn Gavir saw him. He thought the child's bravery was admirable and became interested in training him, so Thenn brought the kid home and introduced him to his wife and daughter, who was only 1 year older than Ram'tha. Thenn's wife, Sotiy, didn't want to raise him, but since she noticed his inner strength she gave a condition to Thenn to accept the child: he should have been raised and trained only to become their daughter Akiri's husband. That way, they ensured a life of success for their daughter who would have had constant protection in her rise to power in the empire. The husband accepted without telling Ram'tha.

He learned a lot in the years with the Gavir family, and even thought he never got along with Sotiy (who was very hard on him, almost treating him as a mere servant), he liked Thenn and Akiri. Thanks to Darth Thenn, he was able to pursue his new hobbies, such as learning about plants (and he will end up studying bioanalysis) and cooking. He liked to take care of the Gavir family and doing chores for them, since he felt very grateful for the help they gave him, and his relationship with Akiri grew deeper even without her parents to force it onto them.

At the age of 11 the two kids started visibly liking each other and so Sotiy decided it was the right moment to tell them about the pact. She was going to make them marry soon, because she didn't want them to become too old and strong to oppose. And, as expected, the naive kids only thought it was cute and didn't raise any opposition. Things went smoothly and the date was set one year after that conversation. Each day they got closer to the date, Ram'tha and Akiri dreamed of their adult life together, in which they did the things they loved together. In this year, the two kids wondered if peace was really a lie...(to be continued)

These are my eight main characters which I'm going to be using to achieve my Legendary on the Satele Shan Server.

I have two others that I use mainly as collectors as there really is only six crew skills that need to be learned.

Artifice, Biochem, Armstech, Synthweaving, Cybertech and Armormech

So I'm giving my crafters any one of the six crafting skills and then two of the gathering skills to make collecting feasible. Since there are six crafting skills, there's going to be six crafters and if I have eight characters six are going to be my crafters and two will exclusively collect crafting mats.

Second room on the right hand side has some gathering skills which don't involve running around on planets and scanning stuff. They're straight-up missions where you send your companions to do whatever it is they do and gather you stuff whether it be materials through diplomacy, underworld trading, treasure-hunting or investigation. In any case, if you're wondering why my toon Theradius Vol is L72 while all my others are lowbies, I used a boost which boosted Theradius to L70 and worked him up to 72 from there. I made my first and only boosted character in my SWTOR legacies (I didn't like the auto decisions and well...I like the grind of achieving a high level through working through the levels in the base game) and I doubt I'll ever do that again.

In the far room to the right we have the "collecting skills": the ones where you can either gather crafting mats yourself or send your crew to do it.

On the right we have archaeology and bioanalysis as well as the crew skill trade vendor.

On the left we have slicing and scavenging. I've heard slicing gets you some quick credits. A couple hundred or so at the low levels, but not really that much from what I can tell. And the chance of getting your *** jumped by multiple NPCs is quite prevalent.

So that's what my Satele Shan server toons are doing right now.

Crew Skills

Trying to get Theradius's crew skills up.

Because he's a boosted character, he's the only one where he has enough companions to send 3 out at a time (one crafting allowable if you have a crafting skill; 2 gathering - if you are preferred status). My boosted character as a whole is a gatherer: so he has bioanalysis, archaeology and scavenging. His archaeology is at 100% so he's just upping his bioanalysis and scavenging.

Since my Legacy bank is not at a couple hundred million, I've been holding off on getting gold or purple gifts and upping Theradius' companions influence levels. I've just been giving his companions gifts as they drop depending on their affinity to "large" influence.

Kaiza is the companion gift vendor on Imp-side and on Star Forge, I tend to frequent her booth frequently because there I have the credits to cough up in order to buy my toons' companions' influence levels to L50.

Meanwhile with my Satele Shan toons, I have to deal with having to subsist on whatever companion gift drops there are from knocking off NPCs in the game. Hence the reason my poor companions are at influence levels that are laughable to most wealthier players with billions of credits. I just don't have the "millions" of credits that allow me to buy 100 companion gifts at a time to increase their influence levels.

So far Gault (because of gift drops) and Lana Beniko are my two main companions that I take on missions mainly because they're top level. If I have Lana with me I usually send Gault, Aric and Torian on crew skills gathering missions. If I accidentally key in Lana in one of the crew skills missions, I'll summon Gault to accompany me. Trust me, I've done that a few times now.

It took a lot of grinding (heroics) and undone planetary missions (I realized that when your character gets boosted, it doesn't do the planetary missions for you, it only completes all your class-stories; the planetary (purple missions) and exploration missions are still there for you to complete and those are lost credits to anyone that doesn't go back and grind through them. I went up six levels going from Korriban to Alderaan working through them and still have to work through till Corellia just to make sure that I have all those completed. Then I can do the bonus missions and the daily heroics to keep piling in the credits. I still haven't figured out the "economy" of the GTN yet, so that might come later to figure out how to get a few hundred million credits which will help my Legacy out.
