A multi-eared monkey? This seems familiar... but no, this is not Liu'er Mihou, the Six Eared Macaque from JttW, but an entirely different simian with extra hearing holes. This is Chang You, and I couldn't find much about him either. All I could get was that he lives on a mountain (also named Chang You, confusingly), sounded like a person singing, and was an omen of floods in the area, hence the water. He has some overlap with Wuzhiqi, another flood-associated primate, though they don't seem to be related. Perhaps in another sh*tpost....

Translating the Titles of Andrius’ Boss Fight OSTs

This is a really quick translation. I checked out the Chinese titles of some Mondstadt OSTs and noted some differences between them and the English translations, particularly with the two tracks that play during the Andrius/Lupus Boreas boss fight.

Translation Notes

It’s very easy to see where the official translation messed up.

冰风 (bingfeng) → icy wind

冰封 (bingfeng) → ice seal, covered by ice, frozen over (think Elsa’s ice powers)

To say both is “Boreal Wind” would be wrong. “Boreal” is “of the north or northern regions” so stretching it from “icy wind” is fitting. If you really want, you can translate the second word to “Boreal Seal” rather than “ice-sealed” to keep the consistency.

回荡 → to echo, to reverberate

交响曲 → symphony

More literally the two titles would be “The Icy Wind Echoes” and “Ice-Sealed Symphony” but I tried to follow the flourish of Genshin Impact’s naming conventions.

Las Leonas continúan a paso firme en la FIH Pro League. Esta tarde vencieron a China por 1 a 0 con gol de Silvina D'Elía. Se presentaron en el Estadio Mundialista Luciana Aymar de Rosario en donde volverán a jugar el próximo sábado ante Gran Bretaña.

Después de la exitosa gira en la que cosecharon tres triunfos consecutivos ante Nueva Zelanda, Australia y China como visitantes, este domingo las Leonas se enfrentaron otra vez a China por la FIH Pro League, esta vez en condición de local y volvieron a ganar. Como siempre Rosario le sienta bien a las dirigidas por Carlos Retegui, campeonas del mundo en el 2010, oro en el Trofeo de Campeones en 2012 y primer lugar del podio en la World League en 2015. Y esta vez no fue la excepción.  Fue por un ajustado 1 a 0, pero que le valió al equipo para mantenerse entre los cuatro primeros que en junio pelearán por el título en el Final Four.   La primera acción en ataque llegó de la mano de Rosario Luchetti; solo fue un aviso. A los tres minutos arribó el primer córner corto para China, pero la ejecución de Bingfeng Gu se perdió por encima del travesaño. Rápidamente, María José Granatto se adueñó de la bocha tras ser asistida por Victoria Sauze e hilvanó una gran jugada individual bien contenida por Jiao Ye, arquera asiática. Y aunque fue el único gol del partido, le alcanzó al equipo para seguir a paso firme, sumar 12 puntos al hilo y con el arco en cero.
