The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the annual calendar for the 2025 matriculation and intermediate exams for Arts, Commerce, and Science streams. The announcement was made by BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore during a press conference on Saturday. Kishore confirmed that the matriculation exams will be held from February 17 to 25, 2025, with results expected to be announced in March or April. The intermediate exams, on the other hand, will commence on February 1 and run until February 15. In a notable update, the Bihar Board has decided to increase the prize money for top-performing students. The student securing the first position will now receive ₹2 lakh instead of ₹1 lakh, while the second-place holder will receive ₹1.5 lakh, and the third-place winner will be awarded ₹1 lakh. According to the Chairman, a total of 12,89,601 students have filled out forms for the intermediate exams, while 15,81,079 students have registered for the matric exams.
