I couldn’t resist a little fun this morning🌊 little known fact about me is that I used to love to surf. I was fortunate enough to have parents who loved the big Island of Hawaii and that’s where I learned , back in the time of gorgeous wooden boards that kind of hurt when they clonked you on the head, but I loved it. Thinking of you and Vic @dianabonyhadi 😘 I got to the point where I could actually stand up and ride small waves before my cold urticaria allergy shut that down. I intend to get back to the big island someday where the water is warm enough for me to go in without fainting, and I’m definitely taking my son and his family… I’m pretty sure that Alex inherited his love of riding waves from me. 🌊✨ So I alway start my morning off with a cup of mushroom coffee which is really good stuff! The cream factor is usually meh, because I don’t really love plant based creamers and dairy isn’t really my friend any longer. However… I was walking through Whole Foods yesterday and saw this! Yes, I’ll admit that I was instantly starstruck because it was made by @lairdsuperfood and if you follow big wave surfing at all you know who Laird Hamilton is. So of course I bought it and it is GOOD. It comes in several different flavors, sweetened and unstweetened and he uses coconut sugar instead of organic cane sugar ( wtf is that anyhow?) and it is delicious, filled with more mushrooms and whips up to the loveliest froth. I’ve tried them all in my hunt for a good one, but this one is the best. If you see it, try it. It’s not too pricey and it’s worth it. #surfing #superfoods #lairdhamilton #lairdsuperfood #mushroomcoffee #coffee #bigwavesurfing #plantbased #plantbasedcreamer #vegan (at The Herban Inn) https://www.instagram.com/p/CokQFjMrwPT/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
