GMMTV'S BL Line Up - Part 2
Presented in order of trailers I find most appealing:
youtube
The Heart Killers
FirstKhao & JoongDunk
Jojo directing an action romcom about assassin brothers (Khao & Joong) meet a tattoo artist ex-booster (First) and a mechanic (Dunk). I'm highly amused that Joong plays the older brother to Khao, and that we have a at take on Taming of the Shrew for that pair. I like that everyone is morally gray. This has all GMMTV's best chemistry in one BL and some fresh concepts that I've only really seen tackled in m/m romance (check out Amy Lane's Racing for the Sun, thank me later). I'm excited my only quibble is Jojo, I like his style but his characters can get unreliably messy so...
I genuinely dithered over whether this one should be first. Still it was the only trailer I grinned the whole way through, and had to watch 2x, so it takes top spot for me, but closely followed by a surprise silver medal...
youtube
Thame-Po (Heart that Skips a Beat)
EstWilliam
A boy band member and his documentarian start a forbidden relationship. I LOVE Est and am delighted to see him at GMMTV but I've been getting a fatigued by celebrity BL of late. However, after watching the trailer I'm 100% in on this show. I've been waiting for a Blinding Lights style idol romance and this looks like it might be it (Korea, Japan, and Thailand have systemically disappointed me over the past 2 years). Bring it, boys.
youtube
Revamp the Undead Story
BounPrem
GMMTV have taken on this IP about a vampire prince and the human who awakens him that was with WabiSabi. Interesting that GMMTV are bring out two vampire BLs as a result. This one involves a coven (hello, who called it way back in 2019? Me. I DID.) Anygay, coven includes Santa (no lies spotter with that one).
(Previously: Vampire Project from Wabi Sabi - trailer now removed, also previously My Broccoli)
Wonder if they will tank that JossGawin one? There'd likely be rioting in the streets if they did. But they might just let it fade away.
youtube
Sweet Tooth Good Dentist
MarkOhm
Finally Mark is leading out a BL! This one based on a Jittirain novel about a weird sunshine student dentist and his sugar-addicted patient, described as a romcom meets romantic therapy. Also, Jimmy is there, primarily to give me second lead syndrome. It looks silly but kinda earnest, I'm intrigued.
youtube
Perfect 10 Liners
ForceBook, PerthChimon, JuniorMark
New directing yet another university BL with engineers + their mentees. Based on a Jittirain novel. Massive cast. ForceBook playing the same old characters. Enemies to lovers tsunder/sunshine jock/nerd thing. PerthChimon are doing the cohabitation cool guy/dork trope. JuniorMark are doing popular sunshine meets lonely sad boy (the only interesting pair IMHO).
Not sure if these will be interwoven (My Engineer style) or shorter stand alones (Y-Destiny style).
youtube
The Ex-Morning
SingtoKrist
This is an original script written just for the OG, direct by Lit (SOTUS) about a news reporter plagued by scandal must work with his ex-boyfriend to rebuild his reputation. A reunion romance that's hitting pretty close to the IRL pair branded mark.
I've never claimed these two had any kind of chemistry and that would appear to still be the case. I think this one will bore me silly. I'm contemplating a trash watch but feel that's best reserved for...
youtube
Ossan‘s Love Thailand
EarthMix
WHY MUST THIS BE?!! I really don't like this IP but I still HAVE OPINIONS (of course I do) Look, I doubt even legendary EarthMix can save Ossan for me.
Shall I explain? Too much, let me sum up:
It's a terrible script based entirely on an unsympathetic love triangle, the viability of the whole show actually hinges on the boss character so he MUST be likable, because the lead is an unsympathetic looser (and user of people), and the roommate/love interest has no personality. Looks like this version is doing the same. ALSO Earth is grossly miss-cast. (On the other hand, maybe I'll like it more because of that, I would rather my H were toned down a bit.) Finally... where tf are my ladies? The female characters were the best thing about the original.
Of course I'll still watch it. I'm trash.
My order based on descriptions (and biases) before watching trailers was:
The Heart Killers
Revamp
Sweet Tooth
Perfect 10 Liners
ThamePo
The Ex-Morning
Ossan’s Love Thailand
Now that we have finally gotten part 2 I have only one burning question left for GMMTV.
Why didn't my man Thor get to lead something, damn it?
I will also take this as an opertunity to remind you all that my predictions about my own taste are notorious terrible.

!! mutuals who are insane about frank. send me ideas for this post !!
fell down a hole. and now i have thoughts about gl!frank :( yes i know. hear me out. hear me out.
CANON:
this is his file from ep 3! some of it we'll disregard cause it's just there to be funny but we can get from the reading of it on during the sneegsnag episode three reaction video/vod that he's from new york, travelled to japan, thailand and cambodia, studied at an unknown university of fine art and is a painter (and makes nail polish sculptures???), has tattoos from college and. was not chill w/ austin. ("was very suspicious of the person on the right" -> austin was on the right from him to us on the carousel)
DUBIOUSLY CANON???: listen it's genloss i'm well within my right to take the silly goofy haha joke and make it real and heartbreaking. it's what we do here. gl!frank and gl!sneeg were gay as hell before frank died. (i promise there's themes and motifs to dissect there. politics even if you think about showfall as a corporation. especially if you read it so that charlie and sneeg were taken as children and raised by showfall. consider it i beg.) gl!sneeg during tse and other shows post frank dying is under heavy amounts of showfall filter to make him believe frank's still alive and talking to him. gl!ranboo is also being filtered to see him as fully skeletonized when he's actually in an earlier (grosser) state of decay. love-hate relationship with horses because he's an artist. short king. swore like a sailor. liked to steal gl!sneeg's hat to wear.
WHAT: no canon precedent i just. there are little versions of these characters running around in my brain and i'm observing them like it's my phD thesis. gl!niki and gl!frank were very good friends because gl!niki was so fucked up by showfall she pack bonded with the first other person to go "hey showfall's fucked up? they're fucked up actually." she got big time gender envy from him. she always remembers that he's dead. he was an anarchist and was constantly dealing with leftist infighting before showfall. he is trying his best in showfall to get the cast in one unified front and failing. so bad. showfall typecast him as the "cool guy" and they made him smoke. he fucking hated it but he still smoked whenever off set since there was no point in trying to quit while at showfall cause they kept making him do it. bisexual. embroiled in so so much relationship drama pre-showfall because of his dubious taste in dates. got a jfk pulled on him when he died for the last time.

The new year in England is rapidly approaching and it always seems to make everyone so reflective.
So I figured, as this year has been one of the best, but also without a doubt, the *worst* years of my life, I'll make a reflective post of my own. This is more for me than for any of you, but if you find comfort or resonate with anything that I do say, hi- you're not alone.
Sometimes it's easy to forget that not everything is as you see on social media. People's lives are so vastly different to what we see through the lense of instagram or twitter, and sometimes even through his loveable hell site. It may look like someone is the happiest they have ever been, when in reality someone could be suffering and putting on a happy face to avoid the awkward questions.
My life this year started off strong- I had a dream job in film. I was financially stable. I had savings for the first time in my life. I was able to splash out and buy things I wanted without worrying what to eat that month.
One of the highlights was seeing my name on the big screen for Barbie. It was my first ever credit since joining the film industry. It had people I haven't spoken to in years reaching out to tell me how proud they were of me. It was a bit of a whirlwind to be honest. I felt untouchable, I felt seen for the first time. I felt great.
Until I didn't. Until it all came crashing down. The film industry went on strike. No, sorry, the writers and actors went on strike and the crews were forced out of work because of it. Now, don't get me wrong, I am 100% with the writers and the actors and I support the strikes wholeheartedly, but the knock on effect to the crews was one one the darkest times of my life. I suddenly found myself out of work, unable to find a new job, and that wasn't to say I didn't try. I cold-emailed every company, every production I knew who were still working, and even the ones I didn't. But alas, it was all in vain. There was no work.
My mental health was deteriorating rapidly and I didn't know what to do to bring myself back out of the dark. So I looked at my dwindling bank account and made a last minute decision. I'd never had this amount of time off from work before, and the only thing that gave me a shred of happiness was my silly little bl shows.
So I did what I thought would make me happy. I booked a last minute flight, and 3 weeks later I was in Thailand having the best 12 days of my fucking life. I met my long time, long distance bestie in person for the first time. I went to some of the most beautiful temples I had ever seen. I met the love of my life, Bible Wichapas, not once, but twice as I supported him at a local event. I made new friends who I still keep in contact with. I saw so many bl boys in the flesh it still boggles the mind. I travelled to the north of Thailand on an overnight sleeper train. I took a speedboat to literal Heaven on Earth and swam in the most crystal clear ocean. I got 4 tattoos all commemorating my time in Thailand and my love of Jeff Satur, Prapaisky, and Vegas Theerapanyakul (by definition Bible), by a local artist who charged me next to nothing (and then I got one more tattoo for my SKZ bias Bang Chan). I cried meeting an elephant. I visited some of the most iconic Kinnporsche the series sets. I rode on the back of a scooter for a forty minute journey that cost me £1.50. I ate the spiciest dish of my little white girl life. I got to see Man Suang on the big screen. I met Mileapo at the airport and Mile smiled and waved directly at me. I got stuck on a boat during the heaviest rainfall of my life. And overall it was the best experience I have ever had. I fell in love with the city, the culture, and everything in between.
But the moment I landed back home in England, the things I had desperately tried to bury by living my best life for 12 days hit me like a sack of shit. I had no income, no money, and a mountain of bills to pay. All those savings I had were gone in just 6 months. I started to panic. I had (several) breakdowns. I couldn't pay my friend back the money I still owed her. I could barely pay my rent. I couldn't tell my parents because I didn't want to tell them I'd failed. But I was stuck. I applied for any and every job under the sun, but even they didn't want me. I felt fucking useless... and once again my mental health was dragging me down to hell. I couldn't see a way out. When I did eventually get up the courage to tell my parents, one of them told me I was a fool to spend what little money I had left travelling to Thailand, as if I didn't already know it was a dumb idea. But what they didn't know was that the trip had ultimately saved my life.
After that reality check, I did what I have never in my life needed to do. I asked for financial help. And both my parents came through. I know how lucky I am that they did. Not everyone can turn to parents to help them out. I'm forever grateful. They gave me £500 each. So I now had rent money for two more months. I also went on benefits (which I'd refused to even consider for so long because to me if felt like defeat- it's not). But then I took the first job that would take me. I now have an income. It's minimum wage, but it pays the bills. I finally feel like I'm slowly making my way back to the surface. I've still got a long fucking road ahead of me, I'm still overwhelmed as fuck, working tow jobs and studying to teach English as a foriegn language, but things are slowly taking shape again.
I'm hoping the new year will help me get back on my feet. I've accepted a few days on a very well known soap which I'm excited and nervous about, but hopefully with it, the momentum in the industry I love that I lost last year will start to come back to me.
Overall, this year has been fucking crazy in the best and worst ways and I'll be glad to see the back of it. I'm not one for making resolutions as I tend to live life day by day, but my hope for this year is to get back to somewhere near where I was before.
And most importantly, I want to go back to Thailand in the not-too-distant future. Whether that's to visit or live, who knows?
2024- Let's fucking goooooo!
#happy new year everyone!#i hope 2024 brings you all the laughter#happiness#and joy#and stop comparing your life to others#its the worst thing we can do#we all put on a face on socials#not everything is as we see#trust in yourself#love the things you love unapologetically#and live life the way you want to#you got this

Tag Game: 9 Favorite Characters
Every time I escape the hole @pillowfriendly is there to pull me back in. Stole her rules of sticking to one character per franchise.
Daeran Arendae - Wrath of the Righteous
Hedonist. Ethically bankrupt. Walking problematic. I love him. Best romance subplot in an rpg as he actually tries to woo the player. Love doesn't change him but he changes for love. When he ascends to godhood he actively ignores prayers but smites those who talk any shit about his spouse. Has a traumatic backstory as expected but doesn't neuter his character or development.
Bayonetta - Bayonetta
Tells all the gods above and the demons below to fuck off with a combination of high caliber and fem. There has always been a lot of discourse around her but I honest love that there's a female character whose femininity solely for herself and not in-spite of how much ass she kicks. She's an icon and I wish I could pull off purple eye shadow like that.
Raven - Gravity Rush
Goth girl with the power to manipulate gravity's effect on her and the surrounding area. Not super complex as a character but something about her design and dead-pan personality has always stuck with me. Also has a great enemies to not-explicit-but-I-mean-come-on-it's-obviously-sapphic-coded relationship with the main character Kat.
A2 - Nier Automata
Definition of suffering from success. The only survivor of the ill-fated YoRHa Pear Harbor descents and so good at her job that future YoRHa models were based on her. Absolutely lost her shit when her girlfriend died and began a one-woman crusade against the machine beings. We stan a woman with goals. When other characters are blowing themselves (and their skirts) up as their ultimate move, A2 just goes sicko mode. We're introduced to her when she murders a baby but does it count if the baby was also a robot and also super old? I will never forgive FFXIV for not including her in the Shadowbringers raid story.
Balalaika - Black Lagoon
Afghan War USSR Sniper turned leader of the Russian mob in Thailand. Is and always will be my go to template for the "motherly villain" archetype. I believe that scientifically they are known as the "Dommy Mommy." Watching unambiguously evil characters still be humans is always fun.
Leon S. Kennedy - Resident Evil
Our baby boy. Even when he's super-serious-government-agent-man he just serves so much golden retriever energy. Resident Evil is at its best when it treats the zombie survival scenario seriously but adds a dash of levity and one-liners to its characters. Leon embodies that.
Beatrice - Umineko no Naku Koro Ni
Beatrice is the culmination of my weird addiction to characters with unhealthy love languages. Reality warping witch born from the existentialism that comes with trauma that plays horrific death games with the family of the man she loves all as a means to communicate with him where words fail? Yes please.
Faith Connors - Mirror's Edge
Mirror's Edge is one of my favorite games of all time. The use of color, sound effects, and music always made me feel like I was seeing The City specifically as Faith sees it. This connection created a deeper bond and feeling of embodiment than other first-person games, especially at that time. Her story may not be the deepest or most complex but is so memorable. Plus I still really want her tattoo. The King in Yellow/Hastur - Various Horror Contexts
There's something so fascinating about the horror of The King in Yellow. Consumption brought on by enui, the loss of an artist to unreality, the fear that a single, sound, word, symbol, or thought could poison and entire society. Remember! DONT. SAY. HIS. NAME. Honorable Mentions:
The Princess - Slay the Princess Eda - Black Lagoon Monica - Hooky Neon Red - Neon White I have now completed my eldritch bargain with @pillowfriendly. @gunkreads I don't know if you fully comprehend what you have awoken. @iwishtobeafish, @notimpossibell, @crowbandit your ritual sacrifices are required.
#harder than I thought#first long post#Oh god I hope I formatted all this correctly#I guess my fairy tale ending is a fucked up love story

Can I Get A Traditional Style Tattoo Sleeve In Thailand?
Thailand, with its rich history and thriving contemporary art scene, has become a hub for tattoo enthusiasts worldwide. While the nation is particularly renowned for its traditional Thai tattoos, often linked with spirituality and ancient practices, many wonder if they can get a traditional-style tattoo sleeve while visiting. Celebrity Ink delves into this topic, shedding light on Thailand's diverse tattoo landscape.
A Fusion of History and Modernism
Thailand's unique position:
Traditional Thai Tattoos: Known locally as "Sak Yant", these tattoos have deep-rooted spiritual and cultural significance. Rendered using a long bamboo stick or metal rod, they often feature intricate geometrical designs and ancient Pali scripts.
Western Influences: With the influx of tourists and a globalised world, Thailand's tattoo artists have embraced various global tattooing styles, including the traditional Western style.
The Rise of Traditional Western-style Sleeves
Here's the current landscape:
Popularity Surge: As Thailand becomes a go-to destination for tattoos, there's a noticeable rise in demand for Western traditional-style sleeves, characterised by bold lines, vibrant colours, and iconic imagery like roses, skulls, and nautical themes.
Skilled Artists: Many Thai tattoo artists have honed their skills in various styles, blending their native artistry with the techniques and aesthetics of traditional Western tattoos.
Benefits of Getting a Traditional Sleeve in Thailand
Why Thailand could be your best choice:
Quality and Craftsmanship: Thai tattoo artists are renowned for their meticulous attention to detail and dedication to their craft.
Cultural Infusion: While maintaining the aesthetics of a traditional Western sleeve, Thai artists may infuse subtle touches of their culture, offering a unique twist.
Cost-Effective: Often, getting a tattoo in Thailand can be more affordable than in Western countries without compromising on quality.
Choosing the Right Studio and Artist
Ensuring the best outcome:
Reputable Studios: Always opt for established studios, like Celebrity Ink, which uphold international hygiene standards and employ skilled artists.
Portfolio Review: Before committing, review the artist's previous work to ensure their style aligns with your vision for a traditional sleeve.
Thailand, while deeply rooted in its traditional tattoo practices, has evolved into a versatile hub that caters to a variety of tattoo styles. If you're seeking a traditional Western-style sleeve, the country offers an array of skilled artists who can bring your vision to life, often with a unique Thai touch. As always, prioritising safety, hygiene, and artist expertise, as seen with Celebrity Ink, will ensure your tattoo journey in Thailand is memorable and satisfying.

Understanding the Six Amazing Tattoo Ideas for Women
An increasing number of individuals are lately getting inked for rejuvenating their outer appearance, expressing suppressed sentiments, protesting against longstanding rules of society, and paying tribute to somebody close. Even though it might seem easy, choosing a design from among diverse options readily available, which is both aesthetically pleasing and profoundly meaningful, stands to be an immensely challenging endeavour. Well, in the following write-up, I have jotted down a few incredibly exclusive tattoo ideas for women. Please do check them out right now.
• Angel :
According to a survey, a woman generally looking out for the best place to get tattoo in Thailand consider etching an angel symbolising protection. Known for being representatives of the Almighty, angels have special powers through which they successfully protect the vast realm between Heaven and Earth.
• Dragonfly :
Even though many might not believe but dragonfly is believed to be a feminine symbol and primarily depicts beauty. It would surely turn out to be stunning when carved with precision on a woman’s wrist, ankle, shoulder, stomach, back, nape of neck, etc. Good fortune, mystery, freedom, and transformation are some other things that could be attributed to dragonflies.
• Dolphin :
Dolphin is an immensely cute creature noted for its gaiety and playfulness. Sailors in the past considered the said fish lucky because they tend to swim beside vessels present in an ocean. While not as evocative as the other designs in this particular list, many people still prefer dolphin tattoos because they are appealing to eyes.
• Snowflake :
Snowflakes are known for signifying uniqueness probably because no two of them are ever alike. The magnificence of a snowflake, its enthralling silhouette, and enigmatic formation are responsible for making it symbol of purity, centre of legends, and precise proverbs spanning diverse cultures as well as philosophies. Now isn’t that absolutely amazing?
• Kanji :
Kanji tattoos are basically Japanese symbols that represent a specific notion or theme. If a woman wishes to opt for this style, she must conduct a thorough research, seek specialised recommendations, and pick only those signs which mean freedom, intelligence, calmness, courage, etc. Being extremely cautious is mandatory because none would want to end up with a symbol that stands for something ridiculous.
• Maple leaf :
The best tattoo artist in Thailand has said that carving flowers such as rose, lotus, lily, peony, chrysanthemum, etc. on skin is too stereotypical so women should try going for maple leaf, which looks quite elegant. It denotes a wide range of aspects namely peace, happiness, tolerance, unity, and circle of life. All tattoos specified above are opted for by many modern-day women. In addition to being utterly beautiful, it is their connotation, which makes them even more desirable.

The Quarry headcanons
one big mix about everyone and everything
Spoiler alert, of course.
English is not my first language, so I apologize for all mistakes.
- Ryan only shares headphones with people he trusts. Ryan suggests you listen to music/podcasts from his headphones? he loves you.
- On the first day of camp, Dylan created a playlist for Ryan that he just loved and listened to whenever he could.
- I wondered at first what an Australian was doing at a summer camp in New York. So I looked up the origin of the name Furcillo. I found out that this surname is popular in the usa among people of Italian origin. My hc therefore is: Nick has Italian roots but was born and raised in Australia. As for his presence in America, I added that his sister is living there and he always wanted to live with her.
- As for Nick's siblings: Nick is the youngest of 7 siblings. I found out that his actor has 6 siblings and in my opinion, that fits Nick's character so well.
- Nick has sight defect and usually wears harry potter like glasses but he switched them to lenses for the summer camp because he was scared that people would make fun of him. (that hc is also bc of Nick's actor)
- Nick has a lazy eye
- I have some hcs about the origin of the characters also here they are:
- Nick - Italy
- Abigail - Sweden
- Emma - USA
- Jacob - USA
- Kaitlyn - China/Thailand
- Dylan - Czech Republic
- Ryan - Germany
- Laura - USA
- Max - USA
- Dylan was obsessed with aliens as a child. (He still is)
- Ryan loves podcasts. he is obsessed with them and listens to them 24/7.
- Dylan was a quiet, shy kid at school.
- Dylan loves cartoons and comics.
- Dylan is not only interested in quantum physics but also in paranormal things.
- Dylan wanted to be a ghost hunter as a child. The reason was the movie Ghost Busters, which he loves. His phone ringtone is theme song from this film.
- Dylan is a fan of The Walking Dead. Hence, the first thing that came to his mind after seeing werewolf's bite on Nick/after the werewolf bit his hand was to cut off the limb.
- Ryan is biromantic asexual.
- Dylan uses he/they.
- Dylan is demisexual biromantic or demisexual homoromantic (I don't know what a canon sexuality of dylan is so I'll leave two options)
- Laura is bisexual.
- Emma is bisexual with preference in women.
- Nick is the type of talented kid who has been praised by every adult and shown as an example, but doesn't know what he really likes.
- There is one thing, however, that Nick likes more than the others. It is cooking and baking.
- When Nick was a child he wanted to be a baker. But he didn't tell anyone about it because he was afraid that someone would make fun of him for it.
- Emma has wanted to be popular since childhood. Before being an influencer, she wrote fan fiction. This is how she discovered her love for writing.
- Emma was not popular as a child. she always stood aside. She decided to change that when she went to high school.
- Abigail is from a family of artists.
- Abigail loves reading.
- Abi also loves to write letters.
- Abigail also loves calligraphy. She has always been the type of person you take notes from. Then she got into it more and now it has become one of her hobbies.
- Laura has wanted to be a doctor since she was a child. However, with time she realised that she loved animals and wanted to be a vet.
- Jacob has a terrible sens od direction.
- I wanted to somehow explain to myself the fact that Kaitlyn was so good with guns, so a hc was born in my head that there was some kind of woodsman in her family and she was very interested in that as a child.
- Abigail designed her tattoo herself.
- Nick loves the survival programs.
- Kaitlyn is interested in photography.
- Jacob is a very emotional and sensitive person.
- Kaitlyn and Jacob were very popular at school. However, Kaitlyn was much more popular and everyone liked her.
- Kaitlyn is the type of person that both teachers and students love.
- Kaitlyn's best friend since childhood was Jacob. No one has ever become more liked by her than this idiot.
- I can bet that Jacob and Kaitlyn's friendship started when she saved him from some older kids. Maybe someone took his toy or something and he started crying and Kaitlyn wanted to comfort him.
- Most of Nick's siblings are sisters (maybe even all of them. I like to think Nicky has 6 sisters I don't know why lmao)
- Jacob is the class clown type and everyone takes advantage of the fact that he does before he thinks. Kaitlyn acts as his voice of reason.
