Me in July 2019: I MUST HAVE THOSE BOOTS! And I got them 😍

The year is 2024 and I have worn these boots almost every day since I bought them and they are SO comfortable! Pretty sure they will last me another 5 years too! Just look at them today:

Bates Tactical Sport 8 inch. The best boots I have ever owned and whenever they wear out I hope they are still being made so I can buy another pair!

#I’m very excited to see just what ever they get up to #but I wanted to redesign them #I don’t think their original designs are all that bad I just didn’t like the neon colors and all the clashing patterns #I liked fridas original design the best but the colors and patterns just clashed too much #no idea what was going on with harriets design it was so weird #although I do like the pink hair #her and Joan can be pink hair buddies #I gave Confucius socks and slides instead of a Fanny pack because it’s funny #I tried to keep the colors the same but just make them for a little better and desaturate them a bit #I gave Harriet the boots I wear all the time #woohoo #clone high frida #clone high harriet tubman #clone high confucius #clone high s2 #clone high #mind you this is in no way me fixing their designs but rather how I interpreted them

one of the recurring themes in GGY (starting with mrs soto) is that nobody cares and dont care to try and be happy or better and that makes me insane

its shown in Greg becuase hes mind controlled by a murderer so obviously he wont care about being a good friend. its shown in ellis who cares about having fun but doesnt show any signs of caring enough to notice when things are getting worse and worse and his relationship with tony is crumbling from the inside

and most of all its shown in tony with how hes tunnel visioned and so stuck in his own head and self righteous. after his dad got put in prison he started caring about the wrong unhealthy things that only have to do with himself and what hes interested in. he berates ellis for how he doesnt care about Tony's interests but then doesnt care about anything ellis or greg likes. he just only doesnt like how they dont like what he likes.

even greg who he really likes leaves his mind as soon as he goes and plays games with ellis which tony doesn't care about. the story just revolves around care so much and mostly the lack of it. but also how tony cares SO much after his dad gets locked up, but just about the wrong things. he becomes distant and dull afterwards and only gives a shit about his personal interests to the point where he starts to ignore his friends when they dont share them. that's why he liked greg so much. its because he showed (fake) interest in what tony liked to trick him

the story itself is just so hopeless feeling and you watch it get worse and worse as time goes on. u notice how it takes place at the peak of how bad things have gotten then u watch tony never be able to even attempt to be happy again becuase he dies

i personally do like broadway epic iii but the london (2018. not west end. take that thang away from me) one is my favourite by far. like- ''the sun rose and fell in his chest when he held her / he felt the earth moving without and within'' is such a great moment. and it also keeps the garden imagery??? i'm in love. it's so beautiful agdhjzfhs
