About BBC Dracula! I LOVE IT!! AS WELL AS DRAGATHA!!! Let's get into details!!!

One, I am very intrigued by the way they reinterpreted the Dracula novel, let’s go by chronological order. Episode 1. Shifting Dracula’s lusting towards a human from Mina Harker to Jonathan Harker. A nod to various papers and discussions about the homoerotic of the original novel! I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! And it makes lots of sense! I definitely prefer that more than the F.F Coppola’s reincarnation romance plot between Dracula and Mina. The story telling method of ep1 was VERY good too. They got us hooked from the start by introducing the reinterpretation of Abraham Van Helsing! GENDERSWAP!!! I could NEVER say no to genderswap especially with genderswap reinterpretations that subvert the common tropes! The quick-witted, eccentric, no nonsense intellectual scholar role is often a man! Especially a role such as a Van Helsing. The way Agatha established her character as a very proactive character, practically leading the conversation and playing into the “intellectual/competent” archtype was so cool! Personally, I find the series had written their female characters really WELL! Mina Harker looks like a naïve and fumbling girl, classic damsel archtype, but at the same time she was written with much agency, actively making wrong choices, driving the plot forward and established herself as a character with her own personality and agency rather than just being there. Agatha’s wittiness and arrogance also lead to consequences instead of just being a quirk of her personality. She is not a one dimensional caricature, not just a “girlboss” type, but she was actually written with much depth and nuanced too!

Let’s round back to the story telling method Im sorry I got off track with talking about Agatha. I love Agatha a lot. Anyway, the story telling method. In ep1, it was in the form of a testimony. Ep1 carries us in with the reminiscence of F.F Coppola’s Dracula, by starting from the pov of Jonathan Harker, switching between it and the monastery, smoothly transitioning us between the record of the past with the present and from then lead us into the current present of the characters. They managed to convey the gothic and Dracula-esque vibe EXTREMELY well with this method. Placing Agatha into this was a difficult task that somehow, they nailed spectacularly. She is a presence that could be seen as out of place. Her archtype was not commonly present in medias such as this, her demeanours seem almost too “modern” for it. She also distant herself from other characters’ theatrical, not being carried away by Jonathan’s testimony. She’s almost too aware. But she successfully immersed herself into the overall theme through her interactions with Dracula. She turned out to be as much of a drama queen as any character of a gothic horror. Theatrical flair is a MUST in gothic fictions!!!

And in ep2, it was a multi-pov story, an entirely different vibe. A retelling of the Dmitri’s voyage!!! LOVE it!!! I am very fond of anthologies and series switching their vibe and story telling vibe between episodes. The best highlights were the plot twist like damn.. I did NAWT see that coming. And since the story already started with the push and pull between Dragatha since ep1, I KNOW people expected to see more of them in ep2, if they did not make enough appearance in the beginning of ep2, people WILL lose interest. This is the downside of anthology, if you drop the bait that had audience hooked from the previous ep, it’s easy to lose their concentrations. But there was no dull moment because, the mystery surrounding room 9. That was VERY interesting, such a good plot twist too!! That combined with the little chess game between Dragatha and the way the story was retold through his word, i ADORE stories where the narration is from a character themselves. And that helps connect the previous ep with current ep smoothly! Agatha was as much of a main character as Dracula to just be used in One part of the anthology. Dare I say this is a story about their relationship development instead just a Dracula retelling. As most of the events followed tightly behind them.

Ep2 and ep 3 BOTH carry reminiscent of detective stories. Just different era. Ep2 was channeling gothic horror from head to toe. Ep3 serves thriller murder. i Love both! One of my FAVOURITE Dracula retelling. The other one being Hellsing.. not exactly by plot but by how they interpret and convey vampirism.

Talking about vampirism, its such a loose definition. Each interpretations have their own way to explain the fantasy power. That is a highlight of BBC Dracula, which is a close similarity Hellsing also have. That willpower was the factor at play. Why does Dracula repels sunlight or Christianity. Certainly its not a vampire thing, its just Dracula himself because that is what he known of, Christianity i mean. I doubt Buddhism works like that on him (the Dracula of the BBC remake) since he didnt know Buddha like that. It was all about mentality. Skill issue honestly. But willpower isnt a thing to be taken lightly. Of course it was "Rule of the Beast", because it wasnt a rule on humans, or anything else, it was his own rule applied on himself. Similar to Alucard, who limited himself on his own accord. These self loathing lil shits wield humour, nonchalance and monstrosity like a shield to hide their insecurity, what do one do with them.... Agatha and Integra saw allat and still think yeah this is what i would wanted to hold in my arms

I dont feel like Zoe and Agatha is the same person but its an interesting touch and a nod to Coppola's reincarnation plot? With Zoe later starts recalling Agatha memory like Mina recalling Elizabeth's memory in the 1992. But it doesnt pmo as much as the 1992 alterations, i feel like there are still some certain pushes and pull between Zoe and Dracula. They give so many personal agency to female characters in this remake its honestly very refreshing! I barely have any commentary on the gender disparations, if there was any. Of course we have to mention Lucy Westenra, oh I LOVE this character. Definitely better than whatever Coppola was doing (i dont hold 1992 version on high regards much.. there was too many ick for me). Here is how you write a hypersexual female characters. Both 1992 and 2020 established Lucy Westenra as an flirtatious party girl, not the naive sweetie like the book. But while i ICKKKKKKKKK with the 1992 interpretation, the 2020 Lucy Westenra have all of my heart. Yes she is playfully seductive, she is vain, seemingly the cliche of playgirl who disregard sweet nerdy boys (Jack Seward). but God strike me down if i could find anything in me to hate her. Her demeanour is the type of character very easily hated, and some of the reasons behind the hate is inspired by misogyny. She reminds me of Sansa Stark. In the sense that she was comfortable with her femininity and use it to her advantage, but at the same time shes deeply insecure and her outward demeanour was just a facade. She is kind of like Dracula, they are both vain, hoarding and indulging in physical pleasure in an attempt to compensate for their emotional needs. Both Drac and Lucy in this used each other as a cope, fulfilling only each other's physical needs. They both wished to be loved and accepted. But they couldnt and wouldnt understand each other. I dont ship them but I can see how their interactions brought out their characters. They reflected a part of themselves in each other. Agatha saw that part and she couldnt hate them. I could not hate them too ☹️💔

I also really adore her relationship with Jack Seward and Jack's character. I'm specifically invested in the relationship between Seward and Van Helsing throughout adaptations. The argumentative teacher and the less confrontational protege. They're cute. Dragatha witnessing first is Johnmina, and then Jacklucy, choosing love, doing the things they predecessors failed to do until the last moment. It's poetic. The double suicide was really something. I love that trope, where both held the mean to the other's destruction. That's what made them Dracula and Van Helsing. The hunter and the prey, predator in between. The character of Van Helsing works like wonder when the interpretations are women. Commonly regarded as the victim in these genres, a prey, but at the same time a Van Helsing, a hunter. It's such interesting to think about. And then there's Dracula, predator of women, prey of Van Helsing. So good. Love that trope. The scorpion can sting the frog when theyre carrying the scorpion through the river, but at the same time, the frog can dive down, drowning the scorpion. The nature of their relationship can destroy one another, nothing is fair in love and war unless it's between a Dracula and a Van Helsing. They can choose to kill one another and both are capable to. But will they? Or wont they? It is what appealing about a Dracula/Helsing relationship, without that aspect it wouldnt be half as enticing. So yes, i Love LOVE Dragatha. They did not forget the core of the Dracula/Helsing relationship, that they are dangerous to each other. Natural enemy. In Vietnamese we have a word "thiên địch" to call the species that in nature hunts a specific species. Cat is that to a mouse. The word roughly translated into "natural enemy" but while the word "enemy-địch" was accurate in translation, the word "natural" wasnt half as close. "Thiên" is not only "nature", but also means "sky" or "divine". A fated thing. They are born this way, but what will they choose to do with it. The impact of willpower is a strong theme in these matters. Especially in vampirism. And more than that, Van Helsing characters aren't just hunters, they're doctors, scholars, scientists. And they study Dracula, that is such an intimate aspect of their relationship too.

He could kill her. She too could kill him. A mutual relationship.

I feel like, both Jonathan and Lucy was considered a marriage prospect by Dracula, but both of them are not someone he couldve loved or couldve loved him. It's about the understanding that was nonexistence between all of them. And it's what Agatha seeks with him, she wished to know him. It was heartfelt. Not just to know what he can do, that's biological, but to know why he do that too. Again, Dracula and Van Helsing characters are bound together beyond biology, they chose to be in close vicinity, either to kill or just to prod. The obssession of the other one's presence is there regardless.

Another thing, right before I watched that remake I just recently watched Renfield (2023) too, a bit of whiplash seeing Renfield in 2020 and the Reinfield in 2023. It was such a fun and refreshing movie, I HIGHLY recommend. I am not too fond of Awkwafina but Nicholas Cage nailed down his role so GOOD. I am fond of the homoerotic toxic codependency thing Ren and Drac set up in that movie too it was very entertaining.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar on Monday denounced Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris as an antisemite, speaking a day after Jerusalem announced the closure of its embassy due to Dublin’s hostile stances.

“Last night, the prime minister of Ireland, Simon Harris, the antisemite, said in an interview, ‘Ireland is not anti-Israel, but Ireland categorically opposes the starvation of children, and opposes categorically the killing of civilians,'” Sa’ar told reporters at a meeting of his New Hope Party.

“Israel starves children? When Jewish children died of hunger in the Holocaust, you were at best neutral in the war against Nazi Germany. Winston Churchill, during the war, in his speech on V-Day in Europe, noted how Ireland had carried on a love affair with Nazi Germany,” Jerusalem’s top diplomat said at the party faction meeting in the capital.

“And you call Israeli soldiers war criminals? You accuse the Jewish state, that was attacked on all fronts?” Sa’ar concluded while highlighting the Israel Defense Forces’ efforts to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza.

On Sunday, Sa’ar ordered the closure of the embassy in Dublin. Israel’s envoy, Dana Erlich, had already been recalled to Jerusalem in May after Dublin became one of three European nations to recognize “Palestine.”

In announcing the embassy closing, Sa’ar cited Ireland’s “antisemitic actions and rhetoric,” charging that they were based on “delegitimization and demonization of the Jewish state and on double standards.”

Harris later condemned the “deeply regrettable” move in a post on X, saying he rejects the assertion that Dublin is anti-Israel. “Ireland is pro-peace, pro-human rights and pro-international law,” he claimed.

Ireland has for years criticized Israel and its policies in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, but the rhetoric has escalated since Jerusalem responded to the Hamas-led massacre on Oct. 7, 2023, that triggered a multi-front war.

The shuttering of the diplomatic mission was announced after the Irish government approved a proposal to intervene in South Africa’s genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

Micheál Martin, Ireland’s deputy premier and minister for defense and foreign affairs, admitted that by seeking to intervene in the case, Dublin was essentially asking the top U.N. court to broaden its interpretation of “genocide” that falls within the framework of the Genocide Convention.

On Oct. 29, Harris called on the European Union to “review its trade relations” with the Jewish state, following what the Irish leader called a “shameful” vote by the Knesset on a law banning the activities in the country of UNRWA, the United Nations aid agency for Palestinians.

I kinda feel like too many people aren't looking at the whole picture with Guillermo and Nandor/his family this season?

Guillermo knows, to a certain extent, that it's hurting Nandor that he's avoiding him. He just can't not avoid him because of the whole 'secretly turned by another vampire and Nandor will have to kill him then himself for the sake of his bruised honor/ego' thing.

Guillermo is also hurting though. His attempt to take some agency for himself by actively pursuing something he's wanted since before he even met Nandor has massively backfired on him in every possible way he couldn't even begin to expect. He didn't know he'd have a Weird Transformation. He didn't know there was some taboo for having another vampire turn him as Nandor's familiar (and he's not actually Nandor's familiar anymore anyway, technically, they're all just dumb and forgot that fact). He, comparatively, only recently found out about the whole Van Helsing thing and that his family can't control themselves around vampires (though I feel like it probably will be different with their Memo, if we're being honest), so he very likely thought for most of his time waiting for Nandor to turn him that he'd still be able to see them occasionally and get/give closure over a longer period of time before he had to stop seeing them when it became obvious he wasn't aging like they were.

He does care about his mom, yall, did you miss him breaking down in the elevator or were you just distracted by him breaking the hand-rail? He's just been very preoccupied with a whole lot of drama (Which he complained about! He told Nandor how upset he was that the wedding and Baby Colin were keeping him too busy to see his family! The end of season 4 was days before the start of season 5.) and an extreme life change. He's an adult. Sometimes you get caught up in your adult life and you miss your mom's birthday. It's selfish of him - to an extent - but for fuck's sake you can't live your life for other people, even - especially, in some cases - if those people are your family. I'm kind of appalled at people saying that he's deserving to feel bad and rejected because he made a choice for himself. Do you think his mom is blaming him as harshly as some of you are? No! The first thing she asked him was 'are you happy with this change?' She cares about her son's happiness. He's not entirely in the right but fuck do yall know how to do anything but swing hard in the other direction? There's grey areas! All in the middle! Right there, look!!

And then on top of him already being extremely emotionally compromised from reckoning with having to leave his family behind, on top of the already 'emotionally difficult' avoiding Nandor for both of their sakes, he gets another big rejection in his own home from the people he cares most about. I don't know if Nandor noticed that his rejection hurt Guillermo. He's dumb but I really don't know if he's that dumb. He's been able to recognize in the past when he's hurt Guillermo so I don't see why he couldn't now. Are yall gonna blame Memo for feeling bad if Nandor decides to do something to try and win him back or cheer him up? Or if Nandor is upset/worried about having hurt Guillermo?

I don't really know where I'm going with this anymore lmao. My point is: Yes, Guillermo's choice is hurting people but it's also hurting him and he's been hurt for a while now and hurt people hurt people (which is why Nandor lashed out too!) so cut him a little bit of slack maybe? These "expert" pediatricians were paid by a far-right legal group to come up with evidence to attack the WPATH transgender standards of care

What this is: Leaked documents show the anti-LGBT legal group Alliance Defending Freedom paying manufactured experts to attack WPATH’s transgender standards of care, asking them to find evidence for harmful anti-trans myths that they knew were baseless and unsubstantiated. This is an original finding and report by Zinnia Jones (she/her), a transgender Florida resident of 11 years whose access to HRT is now jeopardized by the enactment of state law and policy based on work from these same experts.

Detailed summary: From 2019 onward, states across the US have been faced with an intensely active wave of reused anti-trans experts, recurring characters who keep repeating the same spurious arguments against gender-affirming care in court cases, legislatures, and other policy bodies. Where did they come from, and why did this start happening?

Due to the Florida-based anti-LGBT hate group American College of Pediatricians choosing to set one of their Google Drive folders to be publicly viewable by anyone, files were released this month showing the contents of their staff’s communications and other working notes over several years.

These documents included records of the Alliance Defending Freedom - another hate group who are also responsible for bringing the mifepristone case with ACP as a plaintiff - approaching ACP's leaders in 2018 and 2019 to offer them a grant of $10,000 or more. The ADF wanted the pediatricians “to draft a white paper that refutes the WPATH Standards of Care”, “for use in litigation and should also benefit many other allies at State and Federal Level”.

ACP’s president Quentin Van Meter and executive director Michelle Cretella promptly got to work on this “Special Project”, and the ADF hosted expert witness workshops at ACP's conferences. ACP members including Van Meter went on to present anti-trans testimony in several ADF-litigated cases and ADF-involved trans youth care bans.

In May 2022, Van Meter authored a sham report for Florida Medicaid to justify their trans coverage exclusion, mostly drawing from previous ACP position statements; court filings later revealed Michelle Cretella was recommended by the Florida governor’s office, and she pointed the way to all the other anti-trans experts hired by Florida in 2022 to support the Medicaid exclusion of transition care.

One notable document found in the ACP’s drive contains “Transgender Research Requests”, with the ADF asking Cretella and other ACP leaders to “substantiate” now-commonplace anti-trans talking points. These included bizarre claims by the ADF such as “it is normal during adolescence for children to go through a phase when they identify (to some degree) with the opposite sex”, and “For those who have undergone hormone therapy and genital change surgery, a paper that says they are no happier (and perhaps worse off if the research supports it)”.

The ADF was asking this anti-trans group to come up with anything that could support the arguments they were already planning to make.

This appears to be one of the very sites where those baseless myths about suicide, social contagion and other supposed harms, now regularly repeated in court cases and testimony and uncritically accepted by the mainstream right wing, were conceived and gestated.

These same experts then substantially reused these work products in their reports for Florida Medicaid, a public health agency whose accepted standards determination process is supposed to be a transparent and open-ended evaluation of peer-reviewed medical evidence.

Altogether, these documents appear to demonstrate a paid smear by a hate group and right-wing law firm against a leading professional transgender healthcare organization following the best available evidence and medical practices, as well as misconduct on the part of ACP experts who reused this work in their reports for a Florida public health agency.

How are the Gang Members remembered by whatever niche historians decide to study the Van Der Lindes in depth? Were the "lesser" members like Kieran and Sean even remembered at all? Did John ever get historical vindication? What the hell do modern philosophers think of Dutch VDL and his ranting? What do the Timewarp gang members think about this?

Also feel free to use this as an excuse to talk about whoever you'd like, I was just giving examples.

I imagine the gang would be remembered very similarly to the Dalton gang irl, or Captain Moonlight (Australia and LGBT history represent, ask for an infodump). Which is - not very well and widely speculated on based on biased newspaper articles of the era!

There is a wikipedia article on the gang listing off ALL the gang members and their years active, but it is significantly shorter than the articles on the 1911 gangs. Multiple movies were also based on the VDLs, which I've posted here.

Bill, John, Hosea and Dutch are the four best remembered, with a lot of historians being absolutely fascinated by the fact that Bill and Dutch rode in the VDLs together only to part ways and both go on to be leaders of extremely violent gangs that seemed to be in conflict with the original VDL code.

John is somehow the most controversial VDL, with the evidence having been released but the modern era bureau never making a formal statement that John was coerced by the agency to hunt down Bill, Javier and Dutch. Historians are neatly divided, with some arguing there's literal evidence of Jack and Abigail being held on vague charges by the agency on dates that happen to coincide with John hunting down the gang, ergo he was blackmailed, while others argue John had always wanted to hunt down the gang for the legendary still-missing Blackwater Massacre money and started killing the former gang much earlier than 1911.

Micah is literally only remembered for being 'the first gang member John Marston killed', to his own distain.

Naturally, all the women in the gang were forgotten. Some particularly charming 'vanderlindonians'/redditors still argue that Sadie, who had her own infamy as a vicious bounty hunter, was actually a man and Sadie was a nickname for Sadler Adler.

Kieran's gang and the pre-1899 VDLs are often compared by historians due to both being gangs with ''moral'' codes.

Sometimes when she's enjoying a bottle of wine with Hosea she'll read them aloud. Most of the time it's hilarious wrong and they'll both be holding their sides laughing, such as John hunting down Micah actually being a lover's quarrel and they were both ratting on the gang to the Pinkertons only for John to get greedy.

Sometimes it'll be a little too close to home and Hosea will just go quiet - such as one essay suggesting Hosea was the planner and voice of reason in the gang, not Dutch, and after his death the surviving gang members were doomed to follow their darkest human instincts for their own survival.

Romanticization of drinking alcohol as a manifestation of  quasi-feminism

The inspiration to write this text was an aimed at women Van Gogh Blue vodka ad I recently came across. Its heroine is a shapely pin-up girl sipping a martini and the slogan next to talks about the benefits of not wearing underwear [see here]. The whole styling and its spicy-sexist nature are reminiscent of ads from the 1950s, but after deeper research I checked that it is from around 2010. This search and finding images on the same subject raised a problem in my head which I will try to raise here.

In the book Living Dolls: the return of sexism (2010), Natasha Walter discusses the recognition of activities such as pole dancing or photos of scantily clad women as quasi-feminist rhetoric. Let me borrow this concept, without going into the Walter's examples, in order to talk about the romanticization and feminization of drinking alcohol.

The images in this post [I have to thank Pinterest once again for being a source of endless inspiration] show the wonderful, almost magical effects of alcohol. It turns out that having a drink eliminates all our sadness, worries, stress and heals a broken heart, sometimes even PMS. This perception of things as without flaws is romanticization. On the other hand, this content seems to be very feminist, because we see a strong woman who only needs a glass of champagne to know her worth, control her emotions and be confident. Alcohol is a woman's best friend, helping her to meet social expectations and and get through the day.

Drinking alcohol by women is also a symbol of emancipation, because it was only during World War II that they gained the ability to drink all types of alcohol without restrictions [from my unpublished work, 2023]. It also seems, looking at examples, that drinking is now part of the lifestyle of attractive and successful women. However, this emancipation is only apparent. What good does it do for women to escape from men's rule if they fall into another trap, which is alcohol addiction?

So under the guise of feminism and emancipation we get freedom of choice in the liquor store, but we can lose control over ourselves, our health and our choices. Does this mean that alcohol + femininity is a bad combination? There is no clear answer to this. I personally love wine, its diverse taste, sweet warming effect and sexy culture, which I do not hide. I think that we should find a golden mean in everything. It is certainly not worth romanticizing alcohol and placing it within the framework of feminism. A martini or tea with vodka will bring a smile to our faces, but it will not solve our everyday problems nor replace relationships with other people. as told by many of the managers, all of the members of TYPE ZERO, V&A, CRYSTALLIS, FABULA along with ACTORS and MODELS are all woken up at 3am in the morning with cameras recording everyone’s morning surprise. for some of the TYPE ZERO and V&A members, it’s not the first time they’ve experienced this situation and can possibly deduce what is going on.

with the help of the managers, everyone heads to their respective vans and buses as they are sent to the north chungcheong province. on the way there, the staff members inform the debuted artists that they are now filming a variety show series called ‘LGC RETREAT’, where all of them will be sent to a remote area to play games and have fun. but in the true variety show fashion, for every game that is played, there are also consequences as well…

OPENING / ARRIVAL OF THE DEBUTED ARTISTS

the order of the groups that arrive at the destination ( which happens to be an empty building ) are as follows: V&A ( they will be considered as one team for this show ) > FABULA > TYPE ZERO > CRYSTALLIS > LGC AGENCY. to give enough filming content and time, each group will get out of their van or bus ( the latter in the case of lgc agency ) one by one and give their best runway walk. by the end of the path, they will have to strike their best pose that would exemplify their group ( bonus points if it’s something comedic ).

for the groups that have done their best runway walk, they will be told to sit in their respective spots. as for LGC AGENCY, because there are a lot of actors and models, BAE RAEWON ( previously known as the pd for lgc boys adventures and the current pd for this show ) will tell them that some of the members will be split up. HAN JISOO, KIM JINYOUNG, LEE HANBYUL, LIM SANGHYUN, SEONG BYUNGHO, YANG AERI, YOON MINJAE will be the first to be assigned because all of them have been a part of LGC GIRLS SUMMER or LGC SPRING BOYS. for reference here are the teams that they will be assigned to:

afterwards RAEWON will notice that the group numbers are still imbalanced so the remaining MODELS and ACTORS will be playing a game of rock, paper, scissors and whoever loses will then be asked to pick a spoon from the container. in between all of this, RAEWON will ask some of the losers if there is a team that they would like to be in to see if luck will be in their favor. the lucky ( or unlucky ) lgc agency people who have been sent to the other teams are:

INTRODUCE YOURSELF ( ACTIVITY )

for this game, every group will be asked to think of a group introduction for themselves. the introduction must have some sort of catchy phrase/motto that they can say because it will be what they can say in the future games. once that is done, RAEWON will ask every single idol, actor, and model to give a short introduction of themselves to everyone else. for this introduction, they must state their name, how long they have been in legacy ( aka training period ), and three random facts about themselves. the ones with the catchiest introductions will most likely be featured in the show.

LUNCH TIME

as a way for everyone to get to know each other and energize themselves for the first game that they will be playing later, the legacy staff will be giving all of them homemade lunches made by NOVA, LGC GIRLS JAPAN, and the rest of LGC SPRING BOYS! during this time, the cameras will be filming all of them, but they will encourage the groups to interact.

SHOW YOUR FACE ( GAME )

after everyone is done eating and enjoying their lunches, they will be given colored shirts to wear and support their respective teams ( for the idol groups, it will be their group’s colors while for lgc agency it will be a navy blue shirt ). everyone will then be led to the auditorium where they will see RAEWON sitting at the center of the auditorium. he’ll explain to everyone the first game, which is called ‘SHOW YOUR FACE’. 

in this game, everyone will be looking for the right camera ( note: there are several cameras and they will be moving around in different directions to trick everyone ) that will be taking a photo of a section of the auditorium. the goal is to be in the photo and fulfill the task assigned in the round. all of the people who fulfill the task and are in the photo will then receive points for their respective teams AND will be done with their round, so they will be asked to move to the side and watch the rest of the game until it is done. pushing, shoving, or any form of physical fighting is highly discouraged and will result in getting the team(s) eliminated. HOWEVER, they are allowed to cover another person’s face using their hands.

the game will end after THREE ROUNDS so whoever stays by the end of that will be given a punishment. if you want a visualization of this game, you can look over here to get a general idea ( the game is from 0:00-0:58 ).

TRUST ME ( GAME )

teams will be split into 2 groups of 5-6 members and the OLDEST member of each team will be the one scooping a certain amount of flour onto their plate that will then be passed down to the next member until it reaches the last member, who will then pour the flour onto a giant bucket. all of the members after the OLDEST member will be blindfolded, so it’s up to them to guess where the other person’s flour plate is located and be able to properly pour it to the other person’s plate. whoever has the most flour by the end of the two rounds will be deemed the winner!

DINNER & END OF THE NIGHT

while the the majority of the muses are having dinner, BAE RAEWON will call each of the team leaders separately to meet inside one of the empty rooms. he’ll inform the leaders that they will be playing the pirate barrel game, where each person will take turns inserting a toy sword inside a barrel. if the pirate inside the barrel pops up, whoever was the last person to put a sword inside will be deemed the loser and take whatever the room arrangements are. this will go on for four rounds, until the winner is finalized.

the rankings are (from first to last): V&A > TYPE ZERO > FABULA > CRYSTALLIS > LGC AGENCY

V&A: will be staying in a five star luxury inn and be receiving the best amenities available.

TYPE ZERO: will be staying in a two story modern apartment building.

FABULA: will be staying in a hanok ( traditional korean house ).

CRYSTALLIS: will be staying in a haunted high school nearby. rumors has it that during december, sounds from past students of the high school can be heard in the hallways.

LGC AGENCY: will be staying in tents arranged by the staff. the tents are located in the middle of the woods, so actors and models, beware!

once everyone is done with dinner, they will be sent to their new homes for the night. because of the budget and staff for this show, there will be multiple managers and staff members residing in each of the locations to supervise the teams ( and make sure they’re not doing anything scandalous or could get them into trouble ) and/or preparing for the next day’s schedule ( which will be revealed after the requirements for this have passed ).
