Five Reasons To Use Cloth Nappies
They also make good hats…
Here at Queer Little Family, we use both disposable and cloth nappies on Snappy. I would like to ditch the disposables entirely but it’s not been feasible with Snappy’s nappy rash and the fact that he moves so much in his sleep. So at night we use a disposable because we know he won’t wake up for a change and he’ll sleep right through (and so will we). We also use them when going out cause it’s easier than finding a place to change him if we’re grocery shopping or on a long journey (changing a baby or toddler on a train or plane is a nightmare). At home or for short journies and nap time it’s cloth nappies all the way.
So here are some good reasons to switch to cloth nappies or even combine them like us.
Save Money
I got my nappies from Little Lambs, one of many companies that make cloth nappies. I bought a deal where got a certain amount of nappies for fifty quid. So overall I spent like eighty quid on coloured nappies and the inserts. I don’t have a huge supply This will save you so much money cause it costs about six hundred quid in disposables roughly for one child’s run until potty training. If you switch or combine you’re saving hundreds of pounds. More if you have more than one kid. And yes, the downside is the extra laundry but if you have a toddler and you’re not already doing an insane amount of laundry every week then there is something wrong and I need your secret.
Helps With Easier Potty Training.
Going green.
Due to the wonders of science and technology and the insane amount of money nappy companies have to put into developing them, disposable nappies are really, really good. Snappy will sleep for twelve hours straight with a disposable and not even want to change then, but will need it because his nappy will be hanging around his ankles. They absorb the liquid so well, he’s rarely needed changing at night. Seriously, Lidl nappies are awesome and I’m pretty sure they’re absorbing any liquid within a five-foot radius of my son at any given time.
So, I can see why so many people are reluctant to switch over, but one great plus is that because cloth nappies are not super absorbent your kids know when they’re wet. This makes it easier to potty train because they know the signs of having been to the toilet, and they learn the cause and effect of a wet nappy quicker than toddlers in exclusively disposables. Snappy is only twenty months and we’ve been potty training for a few months now with some success. It’s a work in progress though, and one made much easier by cloth nappies.
Environmentally Friendly
Cloth nappies mean less disposable (and non-biodegradable) nappies are filling up landfills around the country. Of course, it’s not that simple, but around eight million nappies end up in landfill every day in the UK alone, and they take a couple of centuries to decompose!
The con of cloth nappies is that they need washing and drying. But there are ways to minimise the effect the extra laundry has the environment. Use the most environmentally washing machine you can afford. Anything over a C rating. Make sure you only wash full loads and using any eco settings your machine has. Running washes at thirty save a lot of energy overall and with a decent washing detergent doesn’t really affect the quality of the wash. We have a 40-degree eco wash that we use but the thirty works fine most of the time.
Plus, there are plenty of other ways to offset the extra laundry time that have nothing to do with nappies, like reducing your plastic use and so on.
They Make Good Swim Nappies
The cloth nappy box is prime cat real estate.
I’ve never bought specific swim nappies for Snappy cause they’re usually twice the price for, for I don’t know what. We’ve always just used regular nappies under his swim shorts or his swimsuit. He doesn’t swim for long, so it didn’t really matter. Though when we were on holiday in the US we spent a lot of time in the pool especially in the morning when the jetlag and time difference had us all up early with nothing to do. The regular nappies swell up so much in an attempt to absorb the entire pool (and once, the Atlantic ocean).
We went swimming last week and my wife had the idea to use a cloth nappy instead of a regular one. Under his swim shorts, it fit well, and worked really, really well. It didn’t swell up but kept the pee in and while he wasn’t happy, his bum wasn’t three times its usual size when swimming.
If you only bought a couple and did a lot of swimming, they’re definitely cheaper than swim nappies and worth it.
They Look So Cute
We didn’t get any printed nappies, the ones with patterns and prints are more expensive and it doesn’t add anything to their ability to absorb pee. Seriously, a geometrical pattern is not making a nappy any more absorbent, so we just went with some plain colours. I think some companies sell white ones too and they’re probably cheaper if you’re looking to maximise your savings.
We have orange, purple, red, blue, green, teals and yellow. No pink cause there wasn’t any pinks ones, unfortunately. The colours are still really bright over a year and god knows how many washes later and he’s so cute in them. I mean he’s cute anyway, but pretty much during the summer, he’ll only wear a nappy (and not always that). Right now it’s a chilly spring so he’s dressed in the morning and then in the afternoon in just a top and cloth nappy.
No, I do not match. It’s hard for me, with the OCD but trying to match a toddler;’s clothes is a fast way to madness and 100% do not recommend. Unless you just buy them multiples of the same top and trousers. And never put them in socks.
Switch, Combine, Remain In Disposables?
It’s up to you what you think it best for your kid, and works best for you and your family. Don’t let anyone tell you different and don’t let them judge them for you. If you haven’t got that 100 quid initial outlay then it’s okay, keep up the weekly spend. If you want to combine them like us then go for it. Or if your kid always gets rashes in disposables then I’m glad there is an alternative for you. We combine because it’s best for us. Cloth diapers can give him a rash on occasions, a bad one. Both my sister and I were the same as kids, allergic to the cloth nappies but fine in disposables.
Whatever you chose, make the right choice for your kid. That’s all that matters.

Fishing for Litter: A Plastic Clean-up Mission in London’s Canals
Today I’m going fishing – for litter and plastic.
It’s a sunny Saturday morning in East London, and I’m sitting on a stationary canal-boat-turned-cafe, sipping coffee (in a reusable cup!), and listening to a woman called Cal Major speak about plastic pollution.
Cal Major is a champion stand up paddle-boarder from Devon, England, who’s founded an initiative called ‘Paddle Against Plastic’ which aims to get people caring about their environment through adventure. She’s been working with a variety of organisations – including KEEN, the outdoor shoe brand – to amplify the message that we need to be doing more to clean up our water systems and reduce plastic pollution.
Which is why KEEN invited a group of people (myself included) to spend the morning helping to rid London’s canals of their plastic litter.
It’s no surprise that people like Cal, who are passionate about the outdoors, are becoming eco-warriors in a very real sense. I follow plenty of these folks online – surfers, kayakers, rock climbers, long-distance runners, and generally record-breakers of all kinds.
They see the devastating effects of pollution directly in front of them as they travel, and witnessing such blatant disregard for the environment pushes them to campaign.
But I’m not exactly a record-breaking adventurer – so where do I come into all this?
Read more: the biggest ethical travel mistakes I’ve made abroad
The hard-to-swallow facts about plastic pollution
I’m not exactly an outdoor person. By which I mean: I love being outside, and plenty of my travels have involved long-distance hiking, polar swimming, underground caving and walking around fire for eight hours. When I’m back home though, adventurous activities in my daily life are not really the norm.
But when it comes to plastic pollution? As a long-time traveller, there’s no escaping the increasingly obvious fact: pollution is visibly affecting every destination I travel to. Like last year in Bali, a country famed for its ‘beautiful’ natural landscapes, where the most common sight was a beach absolutely thick with tidemarks of plastic litter.
More than 8 million metric tons of plastic finds its way into the ocean each year, and that’s on top of the estimated 150 million metric tons which are already circulating through the world’s waters.
It’s a surreal, disgusting, horrific amount – and a staggering 50% of this marine litter is comprised of single-use plastic items. Yet companies keep churning it out: drinks bottles, takeaway boxes, cutlery, cotton buds, and the ubiquitous plastic bag.
Why? Because we keep buying single-use plastic.
I know the topic of plastic pollution gets a lot of attention (and it’s for good reason!). But now I’m sticking my oar in too. Because when you’re actively looking for this level of plastic pollution, you see it absolutely everywhere.
Those clean plastic bags at the supermarket check-out? Those polystyrene boxes filled with steaming food at festivals? Those plastic bottles in a cafe fridge? Put them in a different, more natural setting (like a picturesque canal in England) and suddenly you’re emptying out grey-green river sludge through an upside down McDonalds cup, squishing a muddy plastic bag peppered with holes, or fishing brightly coloured bottle caps from the surface of a river while baby ducks swim past.
Read more: Ten eco-friendly travel products I use (and re-use!)
In the UK we use over 7 billion plastic bottles every year and only half actually get recycled. In London alone, the average adult buys three plastic bottles every week, which adds up to 175 bottles per person a year.
And where do all those bottles go?
Well, a recent study found that there are traces of micro plastic in every single waterway in England, so clearly a lot of it gets dumped into rivers, canals, lakes and the sea. We don’t yet fully understand what effect this level of plastic pollution in our water has on human health either, but it’s pretty clear that animals are not doing all that well: those same micro plastics have also been found inside every single marine mammal stranded on UK shores.
It’s time to do my part and start actively helping to reduce plastic pollution.
Pin me for later!
Plastic Whale: a new way to positively recycle
“Did you know that plastic is one of the most durable man-made materials ever?”
After Cal Major had finished speaking, a man appeared wielding a net. He works with a Dutch social enterprise called Plastic Whale, who fish out around 60,000 PET plastic bottles a year from the canals of Amsterdam. They then separate the PET from the collected plastic, turn it into flakes and fibres, and use these components to make boats.
The more plastic they collect, the more boats they make – and the freshly-made boats then sail along the canals collecting yet more plastic. It’s a perfect plastic-collecting cycle.
Plastic Whale initially began in 2011 to prove a point: by successfully constructing a single boat made entirely from canal plastic, they planned to demonstrate how polluted the waters of Amsterdam were. But it quickly became apparent that fishing for plastic could allow thousands of eager participants to regularly clean up the canals, and spread awareness while they did it.
Now they have a fleet of a dozen boats picking up plastic in the canals of Amsterdam and Rotterdam, and this summer they’ve sent the bright yellow boat (seen above) on a mission around Europe. Plastic Whale are proving that single-use plastic doesn’t have to be disposable waste: instead, it can be a useful raw material.
But we still needed to experience Plastic Whale’s initiative for ourselves, and start picking up some plastic. It was time to get out onto the water.
Collecting trash in canoes on the Hackney canals
After we were kitted out with life jackets, paddles and the all-important bin bags and litter picking devices, we manoeuvred our way into a series of canoes at the edge of the canal.
Being out on the water was lovely. I used to live in East London and occasionally I’d spend a day walking along the canal – but I’d never got closer than that. Now we were parallel with the houseboats and barges, pulling our paddles through the calm water and gliding beneath the bridges.
I’d boarded a canoe with Caroline, a fellow blogger who I’d just met, and it didn’t take us long to start spotting plastic. Our canoeing skills weren’t the best, but once you’ve seen a piece of plastic its hard to ignore – so we awkwardly paddled ourselves back and forth, shimmying the canoe into the gaps until we could reach across with the litter pickers and grasp whatever it was possible to reach.
It was hilarious! – or at least, it was to start with.
Once I’d settled into ‘noticing’ the rubbish, I could see it literally everywhere. Stained bottles caught in the undergrowth. Circular flashes of colour floating on the water’s surface. Tiny chunks of foam and polystyrene, leaving a trail of tiny bubble-like white dots as they broke apart. Beer cans nestled in the hollows of canal barricades, slowly dripping stale liquid into the canal below.
And most disturbing? The glimpses of tattered white plastic swaying eerily in the water beneath us. With the movement of every boat above, more strips and fragments continually tore off, and the bags were so firmly embedded in the silt below that there was no hope of grabbing them.
Our bin bags soon contained bottle tops, sweet wrappers and scrunched up balls of tinfoil, merging with the brambles and weeds. Most of the thin plastic had broken apart so badly that it was difficult to identify what it might have once been.
Unfortunately, some rubbish is all too easy to identify – especially when it still has its lid, striped straw and internationally recognised logo.
(Just FYI: these McDonalds cups may look like cardboard, but they have a thin layer of polyethylene plastic inside to prevent leaking which means they’re fundamentally non-recyclable)
Amongst all the trash there were still reminders of nature growing in the wild, and I tried hard to see the beauty in this environment.
I spotted clusters of blackberries in the bushes and half-considered picking a few to snack on – but almost immediately I wondered what they’d taste like, seeing as their water supply was coming from the filthy canal?
And my vain attempt at positivity all came tumbling down when I saw a pile of shredded plastic which, as we drew closer, turned out to be a bird’s nest. Somewhere close by, a poor creature had used ragged strands of filthy plastic to make its home instead of twigs.
Newsflash: there’s a LOT of plastic trash in London’s canals
After an hour of litter collection we headed back to dry land and heaved our trash bags up to the water’s edge. It was a sobering sight. In just one hour, a group of two dozen people had collected 63kgs of plastic – and there was a lot more rubbish besides.
One group had found a condom, a sanitary pad, and a nappy floating in the water. Others had picked up a Chinese patterned vase, a zippered suede boot, a fluffy slipper, a pair of shorts and a little plastic toy teacup.
When it was all piled onto Plastic Whale’s bright yellow boat, it was a pretty depressing sight.
But as I looked out at the canals, it was somewhat bolstering to see a dozen more people on paddle boards, criss-crossing the water with paddles raised and buckets filled with rubbish.
Another group of plastic trash collectors were also operating on the same stretch of canal, and they were still working on the clean-up job even after we’d stopped.
How to raise awareness about plastic pollution (hint: it involves you!)
There’s no denying that I saw on the canals really shocked me. I won’t get that plastic-filled bird’s nest out of my mind for a long time.
But perhaps that’s a good thing? Perhaps it’s necessary to receive a jolt of cold reality occasionally – as now I feel doubly invested in cutting down on my single-use plastic usage, and getting more involved in clean-up operations wherever I can.
The war on plastic might feel never-ending, but there are plenty of people passionate about collecting and recycling the world’s plastic, and raising awareness too.
Here are some ways to reduce your plastic use
Use a reusable bottle for your water and stop buying plastic bottles!
Use a reusable coffee cup — even the disposable ones you get in a shop often have a plastic lining
Carry a reusable bag and stop taking plastic bags when you’re in the supermarket
Avoid using plastic straws (unless a disability requires using them)
Try to avoid buying fruit and veg packed in plastic for a week
Try to walk at least half an hour a day — hopefully through somewhere green to connect with nature
Try to pick up ten pieces of rubbish a day (keep an old plastic bag in your usual bag for this – and maybe a rubber glove too if you’re unsure about the dirt factor!)
Pick up plastic and cans on the street (or in the water!) and put them in a recycling bin
Pin this article if you enjoyed it!
NB: I was kindly invited to this plastic clean-up event by KEEN, for which I’m seriously grateful. Getting my hands dirty in the name of plastic pollution has really given me a necessary kick into action – so stay tuned for more conservation activity. I hope you’re equally inspired to start reducing your plastic usage, too!

Best Swim Nappies: Keep Your Baby Comfortable and Mess-Free in the Water
Taking your little one for a swim is a fun and memorable experience, but ensuring they stay comfortable and hygienic in the water is crucial. Regular nappies aren’t designed for swimming as they absorb water and become heavy, leading to discomfort and leakage. That’s where swim nappies come in. Designed to keep accidents contained while allowing your baby to enjoy the water, swim nappies are a must-have for beach days and pool visits. Here’s a look at the best swim nappies available and what to consider when choosing the right one.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/8f5006f20f252c47fc6d03468a3c4abb/c1d82fff34b48e2b-2d/s540x810/c0ae11faf8c5f27880e60b8f940b3618623d69df.jpg)
Types of Swim Nappies
Swim nappies come in two main types: disposable and reusable. Each has its benefits depending on your needs and preferences.
Disposable Swim Nappies: These are convenient for one-time use and are perfect for vacations or occasional swimming. They don’t swell in the water and have secure yet comfortable waistbands and leg cuffs to prevent leaks.
Reusable Swim Nappies: An eco-friendly and cost-effective option, reusable swim nappies can be washed and used multiple times. They are made with soft, breathable materials and often come with adjustable snaps or Velcro fastenings for a snug fit.
Top Swim Nappies to Consider
Pampers Splashers – A popular choice among parents, Pampers Splashers are disposable swim nappies designed for a comfortable fit. They feature stretchable sides and a snug waistband, preventing leaks while allowing freedom of movement.
Huggies Little Swimmers – Another excellent disposable option, Huggies Little Swimmers are widely available and offer outstanding leak protection. Their easy-tear sides make changing quick and hassle-free.
Bambino Mio Reusable Swim Nappy – A top-rated reusable choice, Bambino Mio swim nappies feature a soft, lightweight design with a concealed water-resistant layer. They are available in various adorable patterns and are perfect for eco-conscious parents.
Splash About Happy Nappy – This reusable swim nappy is recommended by swim schools worldwide. It features a snug neoprene fit that prevents leaks while allowing flexibility and comfort for active babies.
Charlie Banana Reusable Swim Nappy – A stylish and practical option, this swim nappy includes adjustable snaps for a customized fit. It’s made from soft, waterproof fabric that provides excellent leak protection.
What to Consider When Choosing a Swim Nappy
Fit and Comfort: Ensure a snug but comfortable fit to prevent leaks without restricting movement.
Ease of Use: Disposable nappies are convenient for travel, while reusable options save money in the long run.
Leak Protection: Choose a swim nappy with secure leg cuffs and waistbands to prevent accidents.
Eco-Friendliness: If sustainability is important to you, opt for reusable swim nappies to reduce waste.

Things tо Look fоr in а Diaper
Your baby spends а lot of her time on your lap. Whether you’re holding or feeding her, or simply indulging yourself in some precious snuggling time, she’s constantly in your arms. Thе only thing protecting her outfit from getting wet is а good diaper. And, if her outfit gets wet, yours probably will too just because you are together so much. You’ve already come tо terms with thе fact your baby will have frequent outfit changes – that’s why you pack extra outfits in her diaper bag. But changing your own outfit is а pain in thе butt because you don’t usually carry а spare outfit fоr yourself when you’re away from home fоr а few hours. And if your child falls victim tо thе curse of rotavirus or some other diarrheal illness common in childhood, your problem is much worse than wearing wet clothes around fоr а while. Your clothes may actually be permanently stained brown. That can get expensive and frustrating. And believe me, it happens. I can’t count thе number of times that my baby and I were sailing along, having а great day, when out of nowhere it was like а volcano erupted from her bottom and both she and I were covered with absolutely no warning. While no diaper will guarantee you won’t be covered in your baby’s poop and pee at some point, thе best diapers minimize that risk. Here are some of thе things you should look fоr when selecting your baby’s diapers. Protection from leaks: Diaper leaks are а reality and they always seem tо happen at thе worst time possible. You want а diaper that offers fast-absorbing layers and can provide hours of protection so you aren’t stuck changing а diaper every hour on thе hour. While you may hate thе idea of letting your baby hang out fоr а while in her wet diaper, thе absorbing layers should whisk that liquid away from her bottom quickly. And really, most moms can’t afford tо change their baby’s diaper every hour, it gets way too expensive.
Thе comfort factor: Your baby has tо be comfortable. If you notice thе material of thе diaper is rubbing your baby thе wrong way and causing some chafing, you might want tо reconsider your choice. Your baby will be in diapers every hour of thе day that she isn’t in thе bathtub, and that’s far too long tо put up with аn uncomfortable diaper. Be aware that sometimes your baby can have аn allergic reaction tо one of thе materials used in thе diaper (source). Before buying too many of any kind, you should do а test run tо make sure your baby won’t have а reaction tо those particular diapers. You don’t want tо have а stockpile of diapers that you won’t be able tо use.
Super strong tape: If you’re using disposable diapers, you want tо find ones that have strong tape tо hold thе diaper in place. If thе tape comes off one side of thе diaper, thе whole operation will quickly go south. Thе diaper will shift or fall off one side completely, and your baby might as well be bare bottomed at that point fоr all thе good thе diaper will be doing her.
Cost: If you’re thе type of person who likes tо use thе cheapest products out there tо save а few dollars, resist that urge when it comes tо diapers. You’ll be sorry you did. Not only will it be а major inconvenience if you choose а subpar diaper, you’ll also lose money too. You’ll be changing your baby more frequently because your cheap diaper won’t hold as much liquid as some of thе more expensive brands. Plus, you’ll be risking staining both your clothes and your baby’s clothes if there are leaks. Replacing those clothes will quickly eat up any savings you get from buying cheaper diapers.
Size: You’ll want your baby tо wear thе smallest size of diaper that will fit her bottom and still be comfortable. When you jump sizes, thе price per diaper increases with bigger diapers. You don’t want tо cram your baby in а diaper that’s too small fоr her just tо save а couple dollars, but it’s something tо consider when you are looking at sizing up.
Whether you want cloth or disposable diapers: You need tо figure out if you want thе convenience of disposable diapers or thе environmental benefits of cloth diapers.

In your pre-mom days, thе word blowout probably conjured feelings of relaxation fоr you as you envisioned а day at thе spa getting your hair professionally styled with а round brush and а blow dryer.
As а mom, thе word blowout takes on а more sinister meaning.
It brings tо your mind images you never dreamed you’d see – or have tо clean up.A diaper blowout isn’t fоr thе faint of heart.
You’ll see poop everywhere and usually, even if there are other people in thе household, you’ll be thе one stuck holding thе bag.
Once they see your baby’s diaper blowout, they’ll disappear quicker than cockroaches when you turn on thе light.
You’ll be forced tо act like аn adult and clean it up by yourself.

Final Words About Baby Diaper Cyber Monday DEALS
My favorite diaper off this list is thе Andy Pandy biodegradable bamboo diaper.
It works well and is а great choice fоr moms like me who want thе convenience of а disposable diaper, especially while on vacations or days away from home.
I don’t feel as much guilt over using this product as I do with diapers that aren’t biodegradable – I hate thе idea of а diaper having а longer lifespan than I do.
I also love how it uses natural products like aloe instead of chemicals I can’t even pronounce.
I feel safer knowing аn all-natural product is on my baby’s skin instead of one with all those synthetic ingredients.

Hi🙂
This is a work in progress type blog - so please bare with me.
My name is Natasha. I'm 22, married and live in Queensland, Australia. I have a 6 month old son William and another little boy due June 2017.
I've started this blog in hopes of sharing my posts with others interested in similar parenting and life views/thoughts/concepts. I'm really passionate about my kids and I have taken it upon myself to ensure I make only informed and educated decisions about their future, that I deem to not only be the best for them, but the best for us, as a family.
I don't believe my form of parenting to be a certain type. I think I do a lot of different techniques that are widely acknowledged in certain stereotyped parenting ways. A lot of people think I’m crazy or weird but like I said. I’m doing what works for us with the knowledge I have sought out. I intend to fill this page with my everyday parenting and pregnancy techniques, struggles and experiences. I will continue to say 'I' a lot in my blog but for here I will refer to my family as 'we'. My husband shares the same views as me and if we don't see eye to eye we discuss and research together.
You're probably wondering by now.. what exactly is her parenting/pregnancy and lifestyle ideas? In our household we use cloth nappies and cloth wipes(with water). We are an intact family and consider circumcision to be only an option when medically advised necessary. We are very for - my body, my rules. We are interested in teaching and learning more about respecting our bodies and not sharing unless wanting to etc We call genitals the correct name and will teach the kids to continue to do so. I.e - penis is a penis. Not a doodle etc We plan to baby led wean when they have finished showing all signs of readiness. We love arts and craft days. We love swimming and are lucky to live near the beach. But for days we can’t make it down there, we have a sandpit and blow up splash pool for sunny fun days. We are a sun smart family. We slip, slop and slap. We are very for extended rear facing where possible. I didn't manage to successfully breast feed for long with my son but plan to try again with #2. We are all for normalising breastfeeding and understand that breast may not always be best for that baby or family. We love the term 'fed is best' when used loosely. It's easy to argue that breast milk is better as it is specifically formulated for that baby but there are also always exceptions as to why it may not work. We are very for limited, to no, screen time. We understand the importance of technology within the growing world, but also see the importance for hands on learning without technology. We use mainly organic and natural products on the kids but currently a normal laundry detergent and cleaning products. I'm looking into changing this as part of moving forward with recycling, up cycling and reusing. We are trying hard to be 'plastic free'. We are in the process of starting up our supplies of reusable food pouches, bags etc. Food containers, water bottles etc. We love the idea of having a vegie and herb garden and when possible will be making one for our back yard that is some what kid friendly. Since becoming pregnant I have decided to take on the cloth pad. When my period returns to 'normal' after baby #2, I'll be using them each menstrual cycle. We are very pro sleep safety. We use a sleep sack for our son for sleep/nap times. We are very cautious of SIDS and have taken all the recommend steps to keep that risk as low as possible.
I will continue to add to my page my views and thoughts and day to day doing's when I think of/ come to them. But in the mean time, I hope that this post has given you some insight into what we do here.
My parenting techniques and thought concepts aren’t for everyone and this blog isn’t intended to offend anyone with my opinions or thoughts. I don’t do things to put down others or to make others feel like they are doing the wrong thing. I’m just doing what works for my family with the information I have sought out. Regardless of how you parent, I'd love for you to share this journey with me regardless. I'm not here to judge how you parent. However, where possible I'll post creditable information or links of research that I've read or used in deciding some of my choices. I really look forward to sharing my parenting and pregnancy experiences and hope to continue to learn. Thanks for reading and I hope this blog interests you.

Did you know? One baby wearing disposable nappies full-time, creates on average 1-3 tonnes of landfill per-year before the child is toilet trained and costs approximately $2600. This landfill takes over 500 years to decompose. Make a difference and switch to modern cloth nappies today!Follow us: https://www.fudgeypants.co.nz/
