[Video] Marissa Nadler veröffentlicht "If I Could Breathe Underwater"!

Nachdem Marissa Nadler kürzlich ihr neuntes Studioalbum "The Path of the Clouds" angekündigt hat, teilt die Songwriterin mit "If I Could Breathe Underwater" die zweite Single aus dem Album, das am 29. Oktober über Bella Union erscheint!

Bei "If I Could Breathe Underwater" entlädt sich cineastische Komposition mit pulsierendem Rhythmus und wabernden Bässen, auf der Nadler von ihrer langjährigen Freundin an der Harfe unterstützt wird. Das begleitende Video, bei dem Jenni Hensler Regie führte, erschafft eine übernatürliche Welt, in der die Sängerin wie schwerelos durch Meere schwebt und mit Farbschichten eins wird.

“When I wrote ‘If I Could Breathe Underwater,’ I was contemplating the possibilities of possessing various superhuman powers: teleportation, shapeshifting, energy projection, aquatic breathing, extrasensory perception, and time travel to name a few”, erzählt Marissa. “As a lyrical device, I married those powers with events in my life, wondering if and how they could change the past or predict the future."
