For me apart from allll her massively entitled demands, was when she also demanded that the chapel be sprayed with air freshener or something!! I mean… What? This is an old, elegant , historic Chapel & you want cheap air freshener to ruin it??

Rant about how to make OOT Zelink work with TP Link being a Farmer

I had this rant stuck in my head at work so I have to get it out or I'll explode!

So child timeline: Malon has a thing for Link but Link has eyes for Zelda and kinda has to break Malon's heart. So what does he do? As Link trains to become a knight, he meets a guy (an OC I have yet to present) who seems perfect for her. So he sets the two up and they become a couple. Link works his way up the ranks and becomes a royal knight, eventually also getting a honorary noble title (those do indeed exist). And once Zelda is queen she can do whatever she wants and marries Link. Besides Link literally has the mark of the gods (triforce on his hand) in a religious Kingdom like Hyrule. I doubt he'd be just a simple peasant. Not to forget to mention the warning of impending doom.

So Link and Zelda have multiple children and so do Malon and OC.

One of Zelda and Link's children ends up falling with love with one of Malon and OC's children. The ZeLink child eventually decides it wants to leave the royal duties to the siblings and moves to the farm to be with Malon's child (giving up royal life is also a thing that happens sometimes IRL, most recent example being... the kinda messy one of Harry and Meghan). ZeLink child x Malon/OC child create the bloodline that leads to Twilight Princess Link being a farmer. There are definitely at least several generation between them. I've seen people mention that the 100 years between OoT and TP was a mistranslation and it's actually hundreds. Can't confirm for sure but makes more sense considering how vastly different Hyrule is.

So that means: TP Link is: A descendant of Link, Zelda and Malon. It's basically a second generation MaLink through their children. Sure it is a lot easier to go the Malon and Link end up together route, but as long as Nintendo never confirms MaLink, It's pretty valid to go another way with your headcanon. That does make TP Link and Zelda veeery distant cousins, but so distant to the point that they can't really be counted as related if you want to ship them. (If you don't want to ship TP Zelink, them being lost cousins is also a cute story.)

Also kinda fits in with the Hero's Shade armor. It looks like no other armor of any other knight. Maybe it was a royal armor? I do think the Shade acts more like an old mentor, than a young man, so I think he probably died in old age and got buried with his armor, or fell in battle when he was an old man and no longer as strong (bc let's be real hero of time + hidden skills? He must have been a beast in his prime time). If his children were a mix of royals and a farmer, no wonder he wouldn't have taught them his skills. Or they just didn't want to or weren't fit for it. And ofc Link would still lament not being remembered as hero. It's not about being any hero but the hero of time. No matter how many people knew about it, no one would be able to relate.

Long story short: Oot Zelink is possible with a few extra steps. BUT MaLink wouldn't be a bad couple and I see nothing bad in people who like them. I just forever prefer ZeLink over MaLink because to me the romantic implications are too strong. I feel like Nintendo originally wanted ZeLink to be the main focus (Miyamoto saying he sees Zelda as Links girlfriend) but accidentally made MaLink a strong possibility by making TP Link a farmer. But that's just my thought. The TP Manga does try to retcon this quite a bit.

Anyway, as long as nothing is put as canon, every ship and head canon is perfectly valid and this is mine. :D Pls don't fight over things like fictional character love interests. Adding a fictional story to a... fictional story is no crime. It being open for our interpretation creates a lot of diversity and I like that.

Nella mattinata di mercoledì 8 novembre, JungKook si è preso la scena sul palco dello show mattutino TODAY, sulla NBC. Meghan Murakami, produttrice e collaboratrice del sito TODAY.com, ha scritto un articolo in cui leggiamo che la performance di JungKook ha finalmente permesso agli amanti del K-pop in tutto il mondo di superare le proprie insicurezze riguardo il genere. Murakami è diventata una fan del K-pop nel 2008, quando questa musica era ancora piuttosto periferica nella cultura americana. Da adolescente qual'era, non era del tutto sicura questa sua passione - così distante da tutto ciò che di mainstream aveva intorno a sè – fosse positiva, per non parlare del fatto che i testi erano in una lingua che non comprendeva. Murakami prosegue spiegando che è riuscita a superare quei dubbi e pensieri negativi grazie all'affiatatissima fanbase dei BTS e seguendo la scalata del gruppo al successo. Ma il momento in cui quelle insicurezze sono svanite completamente, dice Murakami, è stato quando ha visto JungKook esibirsi come “pop star solista”. Persino coloro che, nel vasto pubblico, tendono ancora a considerare i BTS o il K-pop come un fenomeno periferico, ora vedono JungKook come ogni altrə artista: come una star del pop.

Nel pomeriggio di giovedì 9 novembre, JungKook si è esibito sul palco della TSX Entertainment a Times Square, New York. Di anno in anno, la marea di schermi pubblicitari di Times Square cresce sempre più grande e colorata. Di questi tempi, quello più vistoso è quello dell'incrocio tra la 7a e la 48a strada, giusto di fronte alla famosa Scalinata Rossa. “Seven” (feat. Latto) ha debuttato sulle classifiche Billboard Hot 100, Global 200 e Global Excl. US. È rimasta poi in vetta alla Global 200 per sette settimane consecutive e sulla Global Excl. US, per nove, oltre ad essere stata nominata la Canzone Estiva N.1 da Billboard. Ad ottobre, dopo soli 108 giorni dal rilascio, ha registrato 1 miliardo di stream su Spotify, stabilendo un nuovo record.

Dunque, che risultati ha avuto GOLDEN nella sua prima settimana? Nella settimana del 18 novembre è arrivato 2° sulla classifica Billboard 200, con 210.000 unità vendute. Numeri simili, solitamente, catapulterebbero un album direttamente in vetta, ma la ri-registrazione di 1989 di Taylor Swift ha fatto registrare 240.000 nuove copie vendute, nella sua seconda settimana. Invece “Standing Next to You” è debuttata alla pos. #5 della Hot 100. Non è un risultato da poco, considerato il debole mostrato dalle radio americane per brani quali “Cruel Summer”, “Paint the Town Red” e “SOS”, che abbiamo visto in vetta a questa classifica. Ma non sorprende che la traccia di JungKook sia arrivata prima sia sulla Global 200 che sulla Global Excl. US. GOLDEN, inoltre, è 3° in Regno Unito e 2° in Australia. È dunque evidente che il brano sta andando alla grande in America, nei paesi di lingua inglese e in tutto il mondo.

JungKook è una pop star universale e la sua immagine è sia famigliare che inedita. Il suo status, attualmente, va ben al di là dei suoi legami con la Corea, il K-pop e le boy band. Ciò però non significa che si sia lasciato tutte queste cose alle spalle o che siano caratteri identitari da superare. D'altronde, si tratta semplicemente di etichette apposte ai musicisti dall'industria, musicisti perfettamente in grado di allestire performance mozzafiato indipendentemente da questi titoli. Ma viene comunque spontaneo essere un po' sorpresə di vedere un artista coreano intervistato da Zane Lowe rispondere con naturalezza nella sua lingua, nonostante fondamentalmente sia tutto perfettamente nella norma e come dovrebbe essere.

JungKook è l'eccezione alle aspettative per cui solo le pop star americane possono diventare superstar globali. Le fanbase di stampo globale, buon orecchio per il pop puro, i vantaggi che derivano dal produrre musica senza limitazioni di genere e le solide fondamenta costruite duramente dal K-pop nel corso degli anni . . . Forse i risultati che iniziamo a vedere grazie a tutti questi elementi sembreranno scontati, ma non lo sono per il K-pop e dietro a tutta questa storia di successo c'è ben altro. Finora, non avevo davvero idea quanto effettivamente elettrizzante sarebbe stato accorgermi che non è più necessario enfatizzare ogni volta che, sì, "il fascino della Corea e del suo bagaglio culturale sono ormai globali".

The Grammys have always been suspicious. Imagine Rain On Me winning over Exile. 🤯 Imagine Yummy nominated in ANYTHING at all over songs like Blinding Lights. 🤯 Whatever that mess of an album Changes was got more nominations than Fine Line? 🤯 The Weeknd was completely left out even though After Hours was a commercial success and was everywhere AND most importantly, it was actually good. Blinding Lights smashing records. 0 nominations. All because he chose the superbowl over the Grammys. And why not? At the superbowl he's promoting himself and his music, at the grammys he's just bringing them money and extra views. So it makes sense that he'll choose a bigger wider audience. Billie sweeping the 2020 grammys in all the major categories and then winning again in 2021 Record of the year for a second time, 2 years in a row. And then there are huge artists who can't do that. Arguably, Don't Start Now (by Dua Lipa), Savage (by Meghan Thee Stallion), Say So (by Doja) and Circles (by Post Malone) were bigger songs, or at least the ones that I could not escape. She's just a grammy darling like Adele. (Even The Brits. How did she win Inernational Female by releasing just what? 4 songs the whole year, compared to other artists releasing entire albums)(Even 2021 Song of the Year was chosen based on politics and what was happening in the US at the time and they were trying to just save face. If it would've been any other year, this song wouldn't have won.) They couldn't give her anything in 2022 though cause it would've been way too obvious and their viewership has been declining a while now as well as being accused of racism and big artists like Ariana Grande, The Weeknd and Drake calling them out, even just straight up not submitting their work (The Weeknd and Drake). Since 2021 they've been definitely trying to not let artists sweep the awards. Harry has been snubbed a lot by the Grammys, Taylor too, and so many other huge artists too. It's exhausting seeing it happen though, that's for sure. There are definitely people who pay for their nominations (*cough cough* SB perhaps paying for Yummy Yummy👀. Honestly, what a joke.).

In an interview with Elle Australia, Bieber stated, "I wear a cologne from Bond No. 9, which is a fragrance store out of New York, like genuinely on Bond Street. I have no idea what the name of my bottle is, but all the bottles are shaped like stars; mine is crimson and has musical notation on it. It has a great aroma. It's not very frilly, so either a boy or a girl may wear it, which is why I like it. And in private, I know what the scent is because I decided to use it after a boy had been using it and I liked it for myself.
