Review #37
Any Chouffe is a winner in my book. Cherry Chouffe is one of the best beers I’ve ever had. I love fruity beer and strong beer and balanced beer and this has it all. 10/10

A La Mort Subite, Brussels
To Sudden Death- one of my favourite bars in the world! I hadn't been in here for 20 or so years. Great memories. It hadn't changed...well apart from it appeared to have shrunk. Maybe I'd grown!

New Belgium, c. 2020
It’s likely this cap was from one New Belgium’s Belgian Collection or Belgian Reserve line. If this beer was opened after 2023, it could have also come from their classic Fat Tire beer.
Through researching the origin of this beer, I discovered that the company is also the maker of Voodoo Ranger.

Lindemans Lambic Beer Review
It’s been a little over 12 years since we last reviewed this #quartet of @LindemansBeers #Lambic #beer. Fair to middling were our 2010 impressions. To find out if our tastes have evolved at all over the past dozen years, click the following link.
You know we’ve been at this blogging thing when we start to re-review products. Case in point, way back in August of 2010, we posted a review of four different Lindemans Lambic beers, i.e. Pomme, Peche, Kriek, and Framboise. Here’s a link to that original review: https://boozedancing.com/2010/08/19/lindemans-lambictacular/ Interestingly enough, on today’s video, we’ll be discussing the exact same…

It was a still warm evening when Evangeline, my Lyft driver, dropped me at Hopleaf Bar.
At one point everyone’s phone sounded a Tornado warning. My bar buddy, who was studying for her architect license (in the bar) said not to worry, Chicago doesn’t get tornados.
When I stepped outside to call my ride, the Windy City was all that and just after I climbed into my Lyft, the rain came down.
I awoke in the morning to a text from a friend asking how I enjoyed the tornadoes. Slept like an unworried baby.

The next Chimay is Cent Cinquante. The strong blonde is definitely tasty and definitely strong. I loved it but still prefer the darker tripiste ales. 8/10

Stella Artois, c. 2018
For many, this is the go-to Belgian beer. It has a light, classic taste. This cap was likely picked up in my restaurant days, and the design gives even more evidence as they used this logo between 2016 and 2023.
