I am so scared that the DC movies are going to become like the Marvel movies where they all have to have the same rating and share continuity with thirty other movies and you have to watch two unrelated movies, a show, and an interview with the director to understand what's happening in your blorbo's movie

WandaVision Finale!
Okay, that finale was AMAAAAAZING! Everything about it… Particularly, I love that with all of these references to American, black-and-white television shows, we got a bit straight out of what felt like The Twilight Zone! Let me tell you, when Dottie came up to Wanda and started begging to be with her daughter, bargaining, playing with the role and trying to appeal, even offering up her daughter for the antagonistic, demonized role of bully, just to be with her; That was INCREDIBLY messed-up and really shook me up, as did everyone else in that sequence! It was utterly wonderful, and really, the entire premise and set-up DOES seem like a Twilight Zone episode; Perhaps the final homage/allusion by this series?
The Vision battle was great, some much-needed action and usage of Vision’s powers that we needed. I love how Vision manages to talk down the White counterpart with logic and existential thought… The philosophical, almost deconstructive way Vision deals with stuff and life isn’t cold, but rather appreciative, like someone taking apart a clock and marveling in how its put together; They don’t rage at the clock for no longer upholding the undefinable illusion it used to have…
And of course, the idea of ‘illusion’ I feel applies to Westview as well. The difference being that Westview’s mechanisms are inherently immoral, but the way Vision gets down to the basics and fundamentals of things in his almost wondrous, childlike curiosity- It’s great. He’s questioning everything, but in anticipation and acceptance of an answer, he does not view the world with cold disdain the way someone like Ultron would.
The Theseus Ship paradox was a wonderful discussion, as was the suggested answer that either neither of them are the ship, or they both are! As is Vision’s constantly poetic talk of how the ship is more the experience and memories, so if they’re attached to either, then sure- They’re both the same! I love for a hypothetically cold android, this dude is so poetic and marveling at everything. He should be a writer, a poet… But that’s not happening anytime soon; But it doesn’t mean it won’t EVER happen, either! As Vision realized, they’ve said goodbye before, only to say hello again… I love his little way of looking through and exploring loopholes in apparent certainties, both at the end and with White Vision.
Not gonna lie though, I half-expected/anticipated for White Vision to emerge with Ultron’s mind, once Vision reawakened those memories, and I have to wonder where he is. I was kind of hoping both Visions would merge together to complete a true one, given how both acknowledge that the other has something that they don’t. White Vision is still out and about though; And I like the clever usage of color, with blue representing the cold and mechanical Ultron side of him, and yellow being the Mind Stone, but most importantly Vision. And I LOVE the idea that Scarlet Witch has the last remainder of an Infinity Stone within her, preserved like her love for Vision; Some things you can’t truly eradicate, Thanos!
That reference to the Darkhold from Agents of SHIELD was great, and I imagine it’ll come into play now that Wanda’s taken it from Agatha. How Agatha got it, I have to wonder; But that’s a story for another day, I presume. I guess she’s been brainwashed truly as Agnes and is doing her own thing in Westview, without anyone to realize she doesn’t quite belong; Or maybe they will? What a wonderfully poetic, vicious fate for her character- She faked it all, and now she gets to be real! The idea of playing a ‘part’ is just a fascinating motif in this show for me, and I’m sure there’s some philosophical stuff I could dredge up about that term, ‘stories’, from my Philosophy class.
Wish we got some more resolution with Darcy, and Hayward kind of just left; But I do appreciate how we could’ve gotten a bit of an all-out brawl, with the SWORD agents targeting Agatha and how she alludes to the Salem Witch Trials! Also the allusion to the Sorcerer Supreme, AKA Doctor Strange, was great- And things are still complicated with how Wanda more maturely vouches to save those agents, even if they’re also against her… She knows that people’s dislike and hostility is pretty valid. It’ll be interesting how she’ll own up to the ‘role’ of Scarlet Witch now, as a lot of her vilification came from her own actions, admittedly. I imagine she’s going to try and it do it on her own terms, see what loopholes in the requirements she can exploit- Much like her husband Vision would! Also, Tommy and Billy having to dissipate when Vision at least understands and accepts IS messed up, so I can see why Wanda feels the need to rescue her children, who definitely don’t deserve this.
I do have to wonder if that last scene is a hint that Wanda hasn’t fully moved on, or if she HAS, but of course Tommy and Billy don’t deserve to die just for her character development! Really that dilemma and sad ending was handled so well, I half-expected Wanda to isolate the Hex to just her house, or maybe focus all of the energy of the Hex into maintaining JUST Vision, Tommy, and Billy. Maybe she’s consulting her chapter in the Darkhold for info on that? Either way, I like how she’s prepared and kept all of her assets in place in case she ever needs them, such as Agatha, now Agnes! There’s a very spiteful and utilitarian way she handles herself now, reminiscent of a villain who keeps tabs on their friends and enemies; Wanda seems to be doing the typical steps of a villain, but hasn’t exactly committed to it; And maybe never will, again, it’ll be interesting how she exploits her role as Scarlet Witch. I love the callback to those runes, how a scene that could’ve been written off as magical world building foreshadowed and came back into play; Such a simple and obvious trick, but one I always fall for because I’m so invested and IN the world!
Also, I think that lake Wanda lives by, might be the one where Sokovia’s remains landed? If so, then that’s incredibly fitting; A watery grave for her home and memories, huh? I wonder if Pietro, the real one, is buried here- It makes sense, Agatha alludes to Pietro not being buried in North America (nor South America if you want to get into technicalities), so of course their home country, or what’s left of it, is ideal! The site where he died, lowkey; Although that was arguably several miles above, but still. This third-world country that everyone dismissed and ignored has now had a major legacy that is felt across the world… It’s been heard, huh? I’m not sure why Wanda’s maintaining that illusion of herself, is she just practicing, maybe creating a front in case anyone notices activity, checks out, and then assumes it’s ‘just’ some random lady?
I can only imagine how Doctor Strange will tie into this! Probably with the Nexus of All Realities and the Darkhold, and of course the Scarlet Witch’s role as a potential threat to the Sorcerer Supreme; And hopefully with what we’ve seen of Agatha making note of magic belonging to the ‘deserving’ and being able to take it from others… Baron Mordo, perhaps? Maybe he’ll make his return interrogating Agnes as he tries to track down the Scarlet Witch, seeing her as a threat… Dang, now Mordo’s reminding me of Emperor Belos from The Owl House, with the whole belief that after chaos and bloodshed, magic should instead be isolated to only the deserving who prove themselves, and whatnot! Now I’m even in MORE interested and hopeful for Mordo with this comparison!
Likewise, the allusion to the Nexus in that commercial made me wonder if New Jersey would be the location for the Nexus of All Realities in the MCU, but now that Wanda’s left, it’s possible she’ll track down its location to Louisiana, just in the comics! Still hoping for Man-Thing in the MCU, maybe we’ll get a setup for him! I’m telling you Feige, this is your chance to make a Frankenstein/Iron Giant type of film, a misunderstood monster story to incorporate into the MCU, what with your exploration of new genres beginning particularly in Wandavision! Also iirc the Darkhold has a corrupting influence on those who read it… But the last people who did were regular humans, is Scarlet Witch above such things? Or will the Darkhold mess with her, too- An external force that disrupts her character development by corrupting her? I’m just in even more anticipation for Multiverse of Madness to be trippy and horrifying.
Overall, what a WONDERFUL conclusion, and an incredibly satisfying finale to this series, while still paving the way for new stories! It seems Photon’s story has just begun, now that Nick Fury has sent a Skrull to invite her; Maybe for the Captain Marvel sequel? I’d assume the sequel deals with the fall of the Supreme Intelligence, which takes place before 2014; Nine years before Monica gets her powers! Something had to have happened to lead to the Kree’s peace treaties with everyone that angered Ronan…Well, we’ll see!
And White Vision, we’ll see what happens with him, what existential crisis he’ll get into, poor dude; He’s arguably the original Vision, except traumatized and questioning himself! I’m surprised Wanda didn’t go after him, did she assume he was destroyed? Or has she just moved on, focusing on her sons? We’ll have to see… Vision did allude to him reuniting with Wanda, so perhaps Wanda can use her powers to gather the Mind Stone’s scattered atoms within the fragment she holds, and reform an Infinity Stone to truly resurrect Vision, from his white template! Perhaps that’s how the Nexus will come into play, as a place to draw together such cosmic power that was once scattered by the Mad Titan…
Wish we got to see more of Darcy and Woo, as well as Fietro; Him being confirmed as Ralph was great, as was that little hilarious man-cave segment of his, fitting into what would’ve been his time period. I’m a bit disappointed he’s just some dude, but at least there’s the meta gag… I LOOOOVE Scarlet Witch’s new outfit, it’s such a stylish red dress/cape and crown, love how it’s repeatedly invoked as a symbol for her; Wanda finally gets to own her classic costume, her tiara! The bit where her ‘shirt’ meets the pants reminds me of fangs and the points on her tiara, I love that sharp and threatening visual cohesion! And with all that in mind, here’s hoping to The Falcon & Winter Soldier as our next installment into the MCU! And one day, we’ll finally get that Black Widow movie released… One day!

Deadpool 3: The MCU Questions and Connections
https://ift.tt/2UAxmZ8
Deadpool is coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While the X-Men Cinematic Universe fizzled out as Disney bought out Fox, it doesn’t take a marketing genius to remember that Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson is a license to print money. Much like JK Simmons reprised his role as J. Jonah Jameson in Spider-Man: Far From Home, we’re once again going to see Reynolds as Deadpool because if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! And even if he was broken, Deadpool has the innate ability to fix hims—
Sorry, got lost there.
They aren’t just going to reintroduce the character like Jameson, though. We’re getting Deadpool 3 and it’s going to be rated R. This will be a sequel…but in a different continuity than its first two films. Interesting novelty.
Deadpool 3 is the ultimate wild card because we don’t really know how it’s going to really work. Just the idea of Deadpool 3 being part of MCU canon fills the room with elephants. So while we have a long time to wait on this, here are some questions that arise about Deadpool 3.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR CABLE?
We got one Thanos joke in Deadpool 2, but if Cable’s coming back, then expect even more references to Josh Brolin’s other big Marvel role.
Cable’s a tough nut to crack here. On one hand, he was such a major fixture in Deadpool 2 and it felt like a given that he’d be sticking around as Deadpool’s long-suffering gun buddy. He even chooses to stay in the present and save Deadpool because he feels he can fix the future by making a better world.
Watch everything Marvel and more on Disney+, right here!
But…what future? Cable’s future is null and void at this point. While Deadpool 2 didn’t go into canon connections, Cable’s father hasn’t even been established in the MCU. Not to mention the headaches that come from mixing and matching X-Men-style time travel and how it works in the MCU.
He’s too big a name to just ignore, but he’s also going to be a square peg in a round hole.
WILL X-FORCE BE CONSIDERED THE FIRST MUTANTS OF THE MCU?
Deadpool 3 doesn’t have a release date, but realistically, it can’t be showing up any earlier than 2023. We’re going to have two-to-three years of a stacked Marvel movie release calendar going on before we get to see Colossus and the others again.
Now, they haven’t announced any X-Men movies during that time (yet), but that doesn’t mean that mutants won’t be popping up. We all know that making mutants work as a concept in a superhero universe that’s been around for nearly a decade and a half is something that’s going to need some thought, but if they do figure it out, they could always sprinkle characters into different movies and shows. For instance, it would absolutely make sense for Mystique and/or Rogue to show up in Captain Marvel 2.
There are even rumors out there that a certain tentacled, Soviet mutant will be making his debut in Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Man, did they really go thirteen X-Men movies without giving us Omega Red and his MUTANT DEATH FACTOR?
Then again, there’s also the possibility that X-Force and the like won’t get any real screentime, focusing just on Deadpool, Vanessa, and maybe Dopinder.
WILL THE CONNECTION BE PART OF THE NARRATIVE?
Even from the original screenplay, Deadpool and its sequel were really loose about its connections to the other X-Men movies. Deadpool mentions he doesn’t know which Xavier actor he’d be meeting, established characters are extremely different from their previous appearances (Deadpool included), and even the X-Men’s public status as superheroes isn’t really something you see in the main movies outside of the first act of Dark Phoenix. Good luck figuring out how Wade’s movies tie into X-Men movie canon.
It would be absolutely forgivable if they kept that loose approach with the MCU. The difference is that the MCU is actually coherent. The X-Men movies are a gigantic pile of contradictions and retcons that leave you with a bunch of jigsaw pieces that just don’t fit well. Even when they tried to fix it all with time travel, they still screwed it up immediately after.
Also, why the hell did nobody age between First Class and Dark Phoenix?

The Many Loves of Deadpool: 14 Ladies Who Loved the Merc with a Mouth

Ahem. So anyway, the MCU has its cracks, but its pride comes from the fact that the movies and some of the higher-profile spinoffs tie together and do it well. You’re more likely to see Deadpool 3 play ball a little more specifically with the world around him.
But how important is this change of scenery? Is it an unexplained alteration that we aren’t meant to question and barely notice or is it going to be part of the storyline? This is a time when we’re already getting WandaVision, Spider-Man 3, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness so close together and they’re all about exploring and mixing realities. For all we know, Deadpool might even show up in the Doctor Strange 2 post-credits. It would make as much sense as anything.
WHAT BIG NAMES ARE GOING TO GET ROASTED?
Deadpool’s already made references to the MCU here and there, like doing the Hulk lullaby to Juggernaut, fighting on a Helicarrier, being old friends with a guy whose very identity is tied to being from HYDRA, and whatnot. What happens when he goes full ham? Are we going to see Weasel recast with Ed Norton or Terrance Howard?
But really, we have dozens of movies to go on. Lots of stuff to poke fun at. Did he lose Vanessa again due to the Snap and then get her back? Is he unsure whether or not he’s allowed to talk about Venom? Is he going to be meta about the fact that it’s probably for the best that a Ryan Reynolds character didn’t show up until after the Scarlett Johansson character was killed off?
WHAT SMALL NAMES ARE GOING TO GET ROASTED?
Making jokes about Thanos and the Infinity Stones is one thing, but I’m into the obscure jabs. There are rumors going around about certain Netflix Defenders characters popping up in MCU projects, such as Daredevil being in Spider-Man 3. That means I only want Deadpool to dig deeper.
While I wouldn’t be against seeing knocks on Runaways or Cloak and Dagger, the real target I’m interested in is Inhumans. Inhumans, the property that Marvel spent years and so much effort trying to overshadow mutants with only to absolutely fall on their face when the movie was changed to a TV series and then flopped in its first season. The kind of project that is supposedly one of those “never bring it up or you will be fired” blunders.
Hey, they put that series on Disney+. Might as well give everyone a reason to check it out.
WHO WILL BE THE VILLAIN?
Deadpool’s rogues gallery hasn’t always been too impressive. During his defining Joe Kelly run, his big bad was T-Ray, but following writers proceeded to phase him out of importance. Even though Ajax was from the Deadpool comics, he was mainly there for one story arc before getting killed off (he did get briefly resurrected after the first movie came out, but even then only had one appearance). Deadpool 2 had Juggernaut and Black Tom, who were more plug-and-play X-Men villains in general who only had a limited connection to Deadpool himself.
Really, if anyone’s going to be the villain in Deadpool 3, it’s Mr. Sinister. Deadpool has dealt with him a few times in the comics and he was, for whatever reason, the main villain in the aggressively mediocre Deadpool video game. Thing is, if Deadpool 3 is the last true gasp of the X-Men Cinematic Universe as it transfers into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, then it’s probably going to be the big villain that they spent several movies building up (X-Men: Apocalypse, Deadpool 2, New Mutants, and technically Logan) only to never have him appear.
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
Besides, it’s not like Sinister is above fourth-wall breaking humor. You could loosely base the story on What If #100, a story where Sinister became aware of his fictional nature and tried to break free from its imprisonment.
Why should Deadpool have all the self-aware fun?

One thing can save the world; Rocket Raccoon
THIS IS NOT A READER INSERT!!! This came from an anon conversation I had when I first came onto tumblr with imagining Rocket cloning himself to create an army of Rockets taking over a fleet of airships AND with the big hub-bub of the Avengers Infinity War at Disney Expo 23, I thought I’d combine the anon request with a prediction of what’s to happen in the upcoming Infinity war movie coming next year *CAN’T FREAKING WAIT RELEASE THE TRAILER ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!* Now this is just my enterpretation of what could happen, I DO NOT own any of the characters and I hope whoever requested the Rocket army request will enjoy this :) And sorry in advance if it sucks.
__________________________________________________________
They were overwhelmed.  Even with all the superheroes united together it was still too much for them.  Thanos had come to take over the Earth and he brought with him a stronger Chitauri army as well as any other scum he could bride with a “promised share” of the Universe.
“How many more of these guys can he bring?” proclaimed Tony.
“Thanos had unlimited connections, he must’ve called every single one of his partnerships in hopes of sharing the Universe, but he’s never one to share” Gamora stated as she kicked one Chitauri in the head and tossed another one towards Natasha who caught it and electrocuted it with her spider-bite gloves.
“We’re overwhelmed, it’ll take a miracle to get us out of this mess” said Natasha.  In the sky it was as much of a war zone as it was on the ground, aircrafts and superheroes who could fly were flying in the air with explosions booming like fireworks. Inside the Milano, Peter Quill and Rocket took control of piloting the Milano firing all their weapons at any oncoming spacecraft.
“I’ll have to agree with Gamora #2, everytime we take down one aircraft, hundreds more keep coming in”.  As Rocket began to process something in his head, he suddenly got an idea.  He taped on the comms link on the Milano and said.
“Hey Stark!”‘
I’m a little busy at the moment!’
“Just answer me this, how far advance is your technology?”
‘Pretty high-tech. Not to brag but its state of the art. Why?’
“Ahh no reason, just want to know if I can sneak back into that high tower of yours and play with some of your stuff” Rocket said as he got out of his seat and prepared his jetpack.
‘Whoa, whoa, whoa no one touches my stuff but me!’ Stark proclaimed. Rocket grabbed the handle switch that would open the lower escape doors and Peter hollered to Rocket.
“What are you planning Rocket?”
“Just keep them off my back till I reach Stark Towers. I have a plan!”
“You’ve got a plan?” Peter asked skeptically.
“Yes. Much better than your last plan back on Xandar”.
“It wasn’t my fault!” Before Quill could say anything else, Rocket jumped out of the Milano and flew towards Stark Towers and soon coming up behind him was Ironman himself.
‘So what’s this great plan of yours?’
“You’ll find out soon enough”.  The two of them soon ignited their thrusters faster towards the tower.
In Stark’s lab, he and Rocket were putting together a special machine that could turn the tide in their favor and save the galaxy once and for all.
“Now I’ve never really invented something like this, you sure it’ll work?” Tony said to Rocket.
“You Terrans claim to have the most advance technology in the world and you have yet to invent a cloning device?” Rocket mocked to him as he connected some wires together on the machine.
“Well sorry but it never occurred to me to ever clone myself, especially after watching Multiplicity”.
“Multi-what?”
“Oh come on now don’t tell me you guys don’t get movies out there on alien planets!”  Rocket only remained silent then Stark went back to work and muttered, “Okay geez, I thought out there there’d be some entertainment like we have here”.
“Just hand me that pilot’s driver and duct tape”. Stated Rocket.  With a few more modifications, the duplication machine was finally ready.
“You sure about this? We don’t know what’ll happen since we didn’t test it”.
“We don’t have time to. If anything goes wrong, tell Quill to not take my stuff and Groot to take care of the others for me”.
“You got it raccoon, you ready?”
“Let’s do this”.  Stark then activated the machine which sparked and buzzed and Rocket grinned before leaping through the arch of the machine.
Back on the battlefield, half of the heroes were barely scrapping the floor trying to get up while unfortunately some of them the help would come too late.
“Damnit where are Rocket and Stark!” Sam groaned.
“They’ll come, I know he will. Mr. Stark always likes to make a dramatic entrance” Peter winced.
“Well they better make it now, because I don’t know how much fight I’ve got left in me” stated T’Challa.
“Guardians and Avengers! Your time on this realm is over! The Earth is now mine”. Thanos’ voice proclaimed as he levitated in the air with the infinity gauntlet on with all 6 Infinity stones in each slot.  He raised his hand and suddenly coming down towards the Earth was almost what looked like another planet heading towards them.
The remaining of Earth’s heroes and Guardians all looked up in horror.  There was no way they would be able to stop a whole freakin planet from dropping on their heads it would take a miracle to stop this.
“Hey yah big purple monkey!” Rocket’s voice echoed out from an Intercom.  Everyone looked up and saw something heading towards them.  It looked like a swarm of some kind.  “This here is our town! You want it, you gotta kill me and all my little friends here!”  Suddenly swarming the air were millions of Rocket Raccoon clones all lined with jetpacks and all of them getting into each Chitauri air-fleet ships.  “Alright you heroes you all take care of the aliens down there and leave the rest to me!”
“Son of a bitch” Bucky muttered.
“Way to go Rocket!” Peter Quill proclaimed from the Milano’s intercom.
With that motivation of seeing an army of Rocket Raccoons flying in space crafts, the remaining heroes all got up and proceeded to fight off the rest of the Chitauri army that all the Rockets had tossed out from their aircrafts.
The real Rocket soon stood before Thanos and the two of them glared at each other.
“You won’t be able to stop what’s coming!”
“Yeah, yeah but I can stop you”.  Rocket then activated one of the Chitauri guns and aimed it right at the Infinity gauntlet.  He then fired with all the fire-power it had right at the gauntlet and Thanos held out his hand which deflected the attack but Rocket kept hold on Thanos.
Soon coming up beside him was Stark who used his repulsor beams to give Rocket a hand and soon coming beside him was Peter on the Milano as well as Thor who used his newly built axe to fire the same lightning he would get from Mjolnir.
With the combined fire power, the gauntlet actually began to crack.  Thanos’ eyes widened and within a few more firepower from all four heroes combined, the gauntlet was destroyed sending all six infinity stones flying in the air. Stark then grabbed the Time Stone and called out.
“Yo Strange!” He then threw the Time stone towards Stephen and with the help of the cloak of levitation, Stephen opened up the Eye of Agamotto and the stone landed safely inside of it which activated the relic once more.
“Everybody stand back!” His arm then became wrapped with the green magic crypt.  He raised his arms and focused right on the incoming planet.  “IN THE NAME OF THE SORCERER SUPREME. I BANISH YOU TO THE FAR REACHES OF THE MULTIVERSE. BE GONE THANOS AND TITAN!!!” The Eye of Agamotto soon fired a powerful green beam which hit right at Thanos’ planet Titan as well as Thanos himself.
He let out a scream and soon the planet and he disappeared into one of the infinite universes never to be released again.
Stephen Strange levitated back down to the ground panting in exhaustion and soon the four heroes landed in front of him. Quill and Rocket got out of their space crafts and stood beside Thor, Stephen and Stark.
“Did we just—”
“Yes Star-lord, we are victorious”. Stated Thor.“Where did you banish him?” asked Tony.
“Somewhere not even Thanos can get out. And I have you and Rocket to thank, had you both not decided to make a cloned army of raccoons, I’d never get the stone back into the Eye of Agamotto”.  The rest of the Avengers and Guardians soon came out from the smoke all of them in complete silence for a moment not believing that they had won.
When it finally came to them that they did, they all cried and cheered and hugged each other.  The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange, Antman and Wasp, Black Panther and Spiderman all saved the galaxy from the mad Titian Thanos and the galaxy was finally at peace.
As a few weeks went by and after some sorrow filled funerals of those who had unfortunately lost their lives in the battle against Thanos.  They all had drinks at the newly rebuilt Avengers compound.
While everyone was sitting around drinking in celebration as well as in remembrance to those who gave their lives Bucky’s voice cried out.
“Where is my replacement arm!?” Rocket snickered as he sat on the counter with a drink in his hand.
“Don’t you think it’s time we got rid of the clones now Rocket?” asked Gamora.
“Are you kidding me? I ain’t never getting rid of those guys”.  Everyone soon let out a laugh while the girls mainly rolled their eyes at Rocket’s response.
