Console Fighting Games of 2001 - Bloody Roar 3

Bloody Roar 3 is the third entry in the Bloody Roar series for 3D fighting games and the last in the series developed by Raizing Co. Bloody Roar 3 like its two predecessors features the beast mechanic where each character has a beast that they can transform into during fights such as a Wolf, Tiger, Lion, Bat and Rabbit. 

Released for Arcades in 2000, the game would debut in Japan for the PlayStation 2 in March of 2001, and a release in the US would follow in June with Europe and other Pal regions in August.

Bloody Roar 2 to 3 were the main peak for this series, it would continue for another couple of years after the release of Bloody Roar 3 with two more releases, the final entry in the series coming in 2003 with Bloody Roar 4.
