hey thinking about hildy russet. do you ever wonder how exactly she. how did she deal with oakvale. I mean her life was photography and fame and being a woman not being tethered down by a man which was still rare in the 30s. and now she's in this. cult. with only the film left in her camera and no market to sell to, and nothing more to aspire to, and. and she ends up marrying the first person she meets, broken and without any other ties; she ends up nothing more than another woman of oakvale. she ends up with the life she never wanted. she has a kid and a husband and no life of her own. no two feet to stand on. she was so close to making it.

and i think, without a doubt, that disconnect from her life is why barry ends up how he is.

so Henry's grandfather was a full elf, which makes him father Bear'ry Oak a half elf, which makes Henry like a quarter elf and his sons like one eighth elf. but Will plays Henry with elf stats, so my theory is that elves are kinda like Viltrumites from Invincible:

so no, technically Lark and Sparrow aren't elves, or at most are like barely elves. but in my head they have longer than average lifespans
