I think the thing I’ll never get about conservative ideology is in order to believe those things and enact those policies you must believe that humankind is not equal and that some people are inherently less worthy than others.
#Be it because of their race gender sexuality country of origin country of residence family income class status etc#You have to believe it’s okay that some people suffer more and die because of your policies because of who they were born

Maaike Archer is an elderly woman who has become petite in her old age. Her short white hair is curly on the ends, and she has warm brown eyes. She wears comfortable black pants, a white blouse with long, flowing sleeves, a sky-blue vest with matching shoes and simple silver jewellery.
As per her suspect appearance in Call Me, Kill Me, it is known that Maaike knows electronics, has watched The Little Mermaid and has visited Galaxieland. In this suspect appearance, Maaike had a bruise on her neck.
Synopsis
Maaike was the killer in Call Me, Kill Me. She is also Jack's grandmother and the mother of Milan Archer-Adams.
She is a retired flight attendant who has always had a love for travelling the world and visiting other countries. She and Lance married young and later had Milan. Maaike always wanted a big family, but Lance put his foot down, claiming one kid was enough for him. But even if she didn’t have more kids, Maaike treasured Milan and was like a second mother to all his friends.
She was happy to be married to a man like Lance. While he could be cold and rough around the edges, he was a good detective and father. Or at least she thought he was… While she wouldn't find out about the full extent of his misdeeds until years later, it was hard to deal with his alcoholism and explosive outbursts.
But Maaike persevered even when she was convinced that she should divorce Lance. His drinking put a strain on their marriage, but Lance kept promising her that he would quit and that he could change. Maaike had her doubts, especially when he nearly drank himself to death and ended up in the hospital on the verge of liver failure. That was the shock Lance needed to finally quit his addiction, and Maaike was able to see a brighter, happier future ahead of them.
And that future entailed a trip to Niagara Falls, a place Maaike always wanted to visit. She had even managed to convince Milan and Giselle to join her and Lance on the trip. Her son and husband hadn’t gotten along since Milan was a teenager, but Maaike hoped they would be able to act civil on the trip at the very least. Everything seemed to be going well at first until one night when Maaike caught Milan trying to cover up a bruise beside his eye before dinner.
That night, Maaike learned the biggest secret her son and husband had been hiding for decades. Milan broke down and confessed to the abuse he endured from Lance when Maaike was away for work. Every hit, broken bone and time spent locked in a closet. He sobbed as he told her how Lance had hit him earlier that day just because Milan offered to try and fix his phone.
Maaike’s blood boiled as she comforted her son. But through her anger, she felt disappointment towards herself for not noticing the abuse her husband had been doing to their son. She couldn't believe that Milan had suffered in silence for so many years, but at least now she understood why he didn't want anything to do with his father.
And her anger was only heightened when she discovered what Lance truly thought about their grandson. It wasn't Jack’s fault that he had been conceived through such a horrible way, and that certainly was no reason for Lance to refuse to acknowledge the man as his grandson. To think all the times Lance had smiled and laughed with Jack while reminiscing about his days as a detective had been a lie. Lance hated the boy before he was even born, and Maaike refused to stay silent now that the truth had come to light.
Once Milan had cried himself to sleep, Maaike stormed down the hotel hallway to her and Lance’s room to confront her husband. But before she could enter, she overheard Lance talking to someone on his phone. While she usually wouldn’t listen in on his private conversations, she was long past caring about what he wanted. Listening to Lance’s side of the conversation, she learned about his plan to blackmail Jack into betraying his teammates to prove that Lance was useful and should be spared. She had no idea who Lance was planning to extort Jack too, but she wasn’t going to let Lance hurt her family anymore.
Maaike spent the night scheming how to take her husband out. She’d always been creative and planned to use her smarts to her advantage. Eventually, she decided to use the catalyst that led to her discovering Lance’s true self: his cell phone.
It was surprisingly easy for her to rig up an explosive battery but harder to swap the batteries in Lance’s phone. Just as she had made the switch, Lance walked in on her, yelling about how Maaike had been cheating on him. Maaike denied the accusations and tried to leave, but Lance grabbed her hard enough to leave a bruise on the side of her neck. The attack further fueled her desire to stop Lance from hurting anyone else, and once she managed to get Lance off of her, she escaped, leaving the explosive cell phone with him.
With the switch made, the only thing left was waiting until it was the perfect time to detonate the device. She chose to wait until Lance was alone at the 360 Restaurant before calling him, thus setting off the bomb without even needing to be in the same building as him. She felt terrible for the people who had to witness Lance’s murder, but her satisfaction of ridding the world of such a vile man overshadowed the guilt.
Even after being caught, Maaike didn’t regret what she had done. She may have failed to protect Milan when he was a child from his father’s abuse, but she wasn’t going to fail him and Jack anymore. Lance couldn’t hurt Milan, nor could he blackmail Jack into betraying the Bureau now that he was dead. She protected her family as a mother and grandmother should, and even if she must spend her remaining days behind bars, she will die happy. Her only hope is that she will be remembered with love from her family once her time on Earth is over, and she must move on to the afterlife.

Trivia
Her quote was picked by Issy5316(Wattpad)/Lizardkiller(Ao3)
I made her Dutch because of an image I found on Jack’s Criminal Case Wiki page. It was a quiz question asking what language Jack was fluent in. And while I couldn't decide which one was the right answer, it did help me come up with Maaike’s nationality!
Back when she was a flight attendant, she would always bring Milan a souvenir from wherever she travelled to
While not a pilot, she inspired Jack to get his pilot license by telling him about her travels and how fun it is to fly across the sky
Jack, Milan, and Giselle send her letters, pictures and care packages while she’s in prison and also visit Maaike regularly. She may have killed someone, but they still love their grandmother, mother, and mother-in-law, respectively

A group of students and the authors of a children’s book about a penguin family with two fathers sued a Florida school district and the state’s board of education on Tuesday, saying that restricting access to the book in school libraries was unconstitutional.
The suit argues that the book was targeted on ideological grounds, as a result of new legislation that has led to a spike in book removals. The state law, known by its opponents as “Don’t Say Gay,” bars instruction on gender identity and sexual orientation. In an attempt to follow the statute, the school district, Lake County, restricted access to 40 titles, the vast majority of them books that deal with L.G.B.T.Q. issues and themes.
The lawsuit by the authors of the picture book, “And Tango Makes Three,” seeks to make it available again and to have the law found unconstitutional.
Restrictions on books have become widespread in some parts of the country, particularly in places like Florida, which have passed statewide regulations outlining what constitutes appropriate reading material for children. Books that get removed from libraries are often described as inappropriate or pornographic, but in practice, many deal with themes of race or include L.G.B.T.Q. characters, according to free speech organizations and library groups.
“Our book has been banned because Tango has two dads,” said Justin Richardson, who wrote the book with his husband, Peter Parnell.
The book is based on the true story of a pair of male penguins at the Central Park Zoo, Roy and Silo, who incubated and hatched a baby chick. Zookeepers named the chick Tango. The book’s authors — Parnell, a writer, and Richardson, a psychiatrist — wrote the story after reading about the real-life Roy and Silo in a New York Times article, which described them as two chinstrap penguins who were “completely devoted to each other.”
The picture book, aimed at 4- to 8-year-olds, has won multiple awards. It has also been banned or restricted in many districts around the United States after parents and residents objected to the book’s depiction of a family with same-sex parents.
The complaint, which was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, said the Lake County school district had “cited no legitimate pedagogical reason for its decision.” The lawsuit went on to argue that “the book is factually accurate, non-vulgar and non-obscene; ‘Tango’ had previously stood on school library shelves; and ‘Tango’ was restricted for illegitimate, narrowly partisan and political reasons.”
Sherri Owens, a spokeswoman for the Lake County school district, said that the district could not comment on pending litigation. “We removed access to ‘And Tango Makes Three’ for our kindergarten through third-grade students in alignment with Florida House Bill 1557, which at the time prohibited classroom instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity for those grade levels,” Ms. Owens said in an email.
Representatives from the state board of education did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Richardson said the book had been routinely challenged since it was published in 2005. But as far as he knows, he said, it was never permanently restricted in a public school library until December, when Lake County limited access to the book to comply with the state law.
The legislation originally applied to students in kindergarten through third grade, but a new law extending the restrictions from prekindergarten through eighth grade passed last month. The complaint describes the law as “vague and overbroad,” and says its penalties are overly stringent: Educators who knowingly violate it could lose their teaching license.
The legislation, called the Parental Rights in Education law, was signed last year by Gov. Ron DeSantis, who described it as a tool to help parents stay aware of what their children learn in the classroom.
“Parents have every right to be informed about services offered to their child at school,” he said in a statement when he signed the bill, “and should be protected from schools using classroom instruction to sexualize their kids as young as 5 years old.”
In an interview, Richardson said that “Tango” is no less age appropriate than the classic children’s book “Make Way for Ducklings,” by Robert McCloskey, in which a female duck and a male duck look for a nice spot in Boston to raise their brood.
“Both show water birds becoming parents and caring for their young,” Richardson said. “There is no sexual implication or language in either — but only one has been banned.”
The suit was also brought on behalf of six students in Lake County, including a rising first grader who attends public school in the district and who, according to the complaint, wants to read “Tango” because of his fascination with animals.
The suit claims that students’ First Amendment right to receive information has been violated, that the authors’ reputations have been damaged by the suggestion that the book “contains sexual or age-inappropriate material that deserves to be banned” and that the authors’ free speech rights have been infringed upon.
“Whatever one believes about the value of respecting two-mom or two-dad families,” Richardson said, “there is no substance to any claim that it’s harmful or inappropriate at any age for children to learn that we exist.”
In recent years, efforts to remove books have surged across the United States. The movement has been amplified by a growing network of conservative groups seeking to remove books that are often about race, gender and sexual orientation, and by new statewide laws that in many cases make it easier to remove books from schools and libraries.
The lawsuit in Florida is the latest action from literary groups, authors and parents who are pushing back, seeking to overturn book bans through the courts and with legislation.
Illinois last week became the first state in the country to attempt to ban book banning, passing a law that directs public libraries to adopt policies that prohibit them from removing books because of “partisan or doctrinal disapproval.”
Earlier this month, a group of librarians, bookstores and publishers sued to prevent a new law aimed at libraries and booksellers from taking effect in Arkansas. The suit argued that the law, which requires any material that might be “harmful” to minors to be shelved in a separate, “adults only” area, is unconstitutional and could send booksellers and librarians to prison.
The Association of American Publishers and several big publishing companies recently filed a brief in a lawsuit in Llano, Texas, in support of a group of residents who have sued the county and library officials over book removals, which included books about L.G.B.T.Q. issues and race, among them “Caste,” by Isabel Wilkerson.
And last month in Florida, the free-speech organization PEN America and the country’s largest book publisher, Penguin Random House, sued the Escambia County school district and school board over the removal of books that were written by nonwhite and L.G.B.T.Q. authors and addressed themes of race, racism, gender and sexuality.
Florida has become an epicenter in the fight over what constitutes appropriate reading material for students. After the state passed a law that requires trained media specialists to evaluate each book in the school to ensure it is age-appropriate and free of “pornographic” content, some schools emptied or covered up their library shelves while they scrambled to vet all the titles.
In the lawsuit over “Tango,” plaintiffs aim to restore access to the book and are also seeking “a permanent injunction prohibiting the State Defendants from enforcing” the new legislation.
“It permits, and frankly encourages, viewpoint discrimination, and that’s exactly what happened in its application,” Faith E. Gay, a lawyer with Selendy Gay Elsberg, the law firm representing the plaintiffs, said of the legislation. “Nothing could be more overreaching than to sweep up a book like ‘Tango’.”

So, I was looking at your AU (So well developed I must say) and there's this question in my mind, is Emily... dead?? In your Oc universe I mean, no need to answer if you don't want to
Haha! Anon, be prepared for a rant because you have pressed my Hyperfixation Button.
Warning: this rant shows how bias I am towards a character and certain places in Amulet and contains real world opinions and issues that I am Absolutely Pissed about so I retconned a couple of things in my OC world. It addresses issues that is very much happening and if it makes you uncomfortable, well, it’s never meant to comfortable. This contains a lot of sensitive themes and frankly I am still doing research
Technically speaking, the entire Council is gone along with Cielis (although the Surface knows it’s still alive they just ceased contact). Vigo died quite some time ago, along with several of theoriginal crew. Emily and Trellis are what remains of the Council but theresponsibilities are split because Trellis stayed on Alledia while Emily assistsin Space as a fighter (she’s not a leader). Elves age differently here, so Emilyis well in her senior years while Trellis is in his early 20s. Emily found Moze(already having a stone) abandoned as an infant in a wreckage after a fight inGhen-7, and brought him back to Alledia to raise him. Here Trellis actuallyserved as Moze’s adoptive father with Emily as his mom (but they’re not in arelationship, more of QPR because Emily is aroace while Trellis is a demi throughand through).
He’s p reluctant at first and suspiscious where Emily gothim and if she just “stole” him without, I dunno, searching for his parents butultimately agrees because Emily has to be in Space and the safest place sheknows is Alledia and the most trustworthy person she knows is Trellis.Fortunately, he genuinely loved him and raised him as his own despite being differentspecies, even more so as from different planets. The problem is, Emily was kindof… Emotionally neglectful. The only time she ever bothers to visit Moze iswhen she wants to train him and bring him to space so he could join her in herfights but nothing beyond that. Trellis is a bit more affectionate, butconsidering he is recovering trauma from his own abusive childhood, strugglesto communicate properly with Moze and tries to feebly and reluctantlyunderstand and justify Emily’s action.
Unfortunately, this just bred resentment in Moze, as most ofthe time he’s complimented and recognized based on his skill and power, ratherthan his worth as a person. It worsens to the point that he believes that theonly reason Emily adopted him in the first place because he’s a weapon they canuse in their “war” (considering Alledia’s mandatory 500 years of peace is ineffect, Moze interprets that his parents has not yet switched out of their “atwar” mindset. And considering Emily’s actions, it’s quite hard to blame Mozefor drawing up that conclusion). The fact that Trellis is training him as astonekeeper to one day become a Guardian of the Council and didn’t evenconsider if THAT’S what Moze wants…. Moze was in a very claustrophobic anddistressing situation. When he does try to bring it up with Trellis, he’llreceive excuses. When he does try to bring it up with Emily, he gets dismissed. His lack of friends because of prioritizing his training made him deprived of agood support network (which a weakened Ikol took advantage of)
Contrary to what Moze thinks, Trellis DOES notice Moze’sdistress and worries about it, but is torn from defending his best friend ofmany decades to defending his beloved son. After he remembers how he alwaysyearned to be an adult his younger self needed, he goes off to confront Emilyfor her actions. Now I have to tell you, they both loved Moze, but they areindeed terrible parents with flaws they didn’t properly addressed, leading totheir kid suffering for it (considering Trellis has little proper adult guidanceand Emily is also emotionally neglected by Karen… It’s inevitable). That’swhere he realized Moze was just “taken” and Emily never bothered to search forhis parents. Trellis nearly broke down then and there because he realizes theySTOLE Moze. Moze is a Ghensepta (citizen of Ghen-7, it still hasn’t fallen tothe shadows yet), but he was raised Alledian, taught Alledian culture, taughtAlledian history when he already has ONE of his OWN. Moze was forced to take anidentity that wasn’t his and was absolutely isolated from his real culture andheritage. He is horribly sickened by what he and Emily has done and is outragedby it.
(Trellis’s and Emily’s relationship isn’t abusive per se, andit was genuinely a good one from the start but as they spent of the timeseparated from one another and be desensitized and cynical by their traumaticand heavy issues they encounter in their duties in either ruling or fighting…Well, it dissolved to the point that they only bothered to listen to oneanother because of past yearnings and insistence to try to stick of what they wereinstead of accepting the other as now. They still do care one another though, and consider each other family, but the former passion and harmony is long gone.Trellis do ended up going along to what Emily desires instead of protestingback in the good ol days)
Trellis demands that Moze be returned to his home planet butEmily declines, as they are his parents now and Ghen-7 will be safe no longer. Whatkind of parent that endangers their child? Trellis dissents that they are not Moze’sparents and that he doesn’t belong to Alledia and deserved to return to hisreal home and family. The argument heated to point it dissolved to a fightwhere Trellis is nearly crippled from Emily’s attack. Her own actions horrifyher, and in the gist of the moment, Trellis begs to understand, that they didMoze wrong, that he’s sick of always compensating for Emily since the start oftheir friendship, and that she at least don’t do it for him, but for Moze. ThatMoze still loves her, and she undoubtedly loves him, but they need to talk, andshe needs to listen this time. That Moze was hurting and that they failed himlike the adults in their lives failed them. Realizing the truth, Emily breaksdown as well. The thing is, Moze overheard some of their fight, andmisinterprets this as Trellis becoming sick of him, hating him, and desiring todisown him (it doesn’t help that to Moze’s unawareness, that Ikol is amplifyinghis self-hatred)
Utterly heartbroken and crushed, Moze felt sick when Trellisvisited him in his room that night, to tell him that he has to go with hismother for a while. Believing this affirms his worst fears, he promptly acceptsit (Moze prefers Trellis over Emily clearly and loathes spending time with thelatter). Trellis looks like he wants to say something and Moze was about toanticipate it, but he shakes his head, and leaves him alone. The last timeTrellis saw Moze was when he was leaving with his mother
When Emily returns, Trellis is overjoyed to greet her, although surprised they got back early but presumes that they must have quicklyresolved things.
He stops dead when Emily was there alone, with Moze’stattered blue cape.
His whole world shatters when Emily disappears to get Mozeback when he lost control, never to return.
Destroyed by his son’s and best friend’s death within ashort span of time, Trellis fell into depression and suicidal tendencies, abandoning his position and duties as both Guardian and King, leaving a powervacuum and a fragile peace and structure his Cabinet and other offices try tofill and stabilize. Ultimately Riva is forced to shoulder his position asGuardian. The entire world goes into a shitshow when he’s gone for 3-4 years, isolating himself in his home village with only Luger keeping him from killinghimself but it’s clear he’s lost the will to live. He only returns when Gulfenis threatened to be overthrown by a tyrant and start another war again, andonce again usurps the throne to his great reluctance and despair (he hatesruling tbh and would rather live a normal life til he dies but duty has brandedhim to the bone), becoming Alledia’s sole ruler as the only remainingstonekeeper alive (the motherstone is actually still intact but no one knowsthat except him, because they are saving the stones for a new Council once the500 years of peace passed and the cycle of discord becomes anew). However, traumatized with rollercoaster of recovery and relapses and mental healtheducation and treatment virtually next to nonexistent yet, he spent most of hisearly reign with and emotional limp. Navin, last of the original group asideTrellis and his first friends, dies.
Fortunately, he’s REALLY good at ruling and ended upimplementing laws that revolutionizes Alledia, especially Gulfen, but strugglesto implement it in other countries, especially Windsor due to racism and many ofthe country’s authority resisting him, and thus simply left them to their owndevices if they desire to implement it or not. Thus, his power as a Guardian isreduced considerably because of it, meeting resistance and suspicion ineverything that he does, no matter how well-intentioned. Still, believing thefight is not over, Trellis the forms strategies and plans to prepare Allediawhen the shadows return, and that includes warnings of rising fascism and discord. He prioritizes public education, equal rights (be it in gender, sexuality, disability or race), and (mental, physical, and emotional) health oversecurity, intending to help Alledia recover first before preparing for a war.He also tries to unify Gulfen by solving the divide of the East and West after itscivil war, and tries to harmonize and fix the racism that divides the elves andhumans, by allowing elves to reside in more friendly cities, such as Lucien,Ippo, and Frontera. Cielis, hated by the surface due to their actions andabandonment in the war, was dropped as Windsor’s capital and acknowledgesLucien instead. It became Alledia’s first metropolis, boasting as the richestand most diverse city in the world.
With that in mind, he forms the Lufenian Green Cross (acharity volunteer organization that spreads welfare and healthy internationally, its HQ based in Ippo, Lufen’s capital), Frontera Science Prefecture (and whereGulfen’s Space Program members aka the Elvem Resistance operated in secret to assistwith the war in space), and the Alledian Auxiliary, a cohesive paramilitaryorganization that is formed by the remnants of the Elf Army and the HumanResistance (sure enough, early days were bad but over time formed a s trongbond, contributing to the Hamony movement). He’s done a whole lot more but let’smove the fuck on
Eventually, around 23 he started dating Riva (after dating afew people to test the waters. He’s dated only three people before Riva, but he’sdated both men and women, human and elf), and then marrying her after a fewyears. It was a private ceremony, but Alcyone claims it was the only day shenever saw Trellis frown and was happy throughout. Still, he never fullyrecovered from his PTSD and clinical depression and anxiety, often overworkinghimself to compensate. Although as mental health becomes more widespread andrefined, Trellis allows himself to go to therapy, but struggles to recover.Succeses are far and few in between, and healing was hard work on top of hisoverwhelming duties. Nevertheless, he actually manages a happy and healthy marriagewith Riva regardless of his deep rooted mental issues thanks to it. Riva andTrellis never never had any children, as Trellis was far too traumatized and guilt-riddenfrom what happened to Moze, believes himself to be a curse like his father towhoever his child may be. Yet feeling like he owes Riva, they eventually haveRavis when they are around their 40s (in Elf age, so 300 after the events inAmulet).
Trellis didn’t want Ravis to suffer and experience thedangers of Royal life, thus kept the existence of the child secret and keptthem both in Lucien as simple citizens, with him separating personal life and leaderwork, thus he visits from time to time. But he refused to be more active inraising Ravis in his toddler years in fear of hurting him and guilt yet treatedhim genuinely well (he is also scared of loving him, and then losing him). He onceagain experiences a relapse and isolates himself more, leading to a few suicideattempts. When Ravis is around 5, Trellis’s condition worsens, to the point heis frequently hospitalized and isolated to keep him from his self-destructiveand suicidal tendencies (it happened enough times that the staff knows him wellenough, but he’s never hurt Ravis or Riva). Fortunately, after extensivetherapy, Trellis finally chooses recovery and affirms himself that he is worthyof the good life he is trying to cultivate, now tries to be a more active andgood father to Ravis. And sure enough, he did, absolving himself of mistakes hedid with how he raised Moze (but the fact that Ravis and Moze nearly have thesame personality tells that their kind and rather timid nature comes from him)
He does have relapses from time to time, but now he’s relieving himselfof his duties more and more to leave it to his subordinates in order to spend moretime with his family. Besides, it’s just 400 years, they have a century ofpeace. It comes to the point he’s considering to abdicate his throne and dissolvethe monarchy. Unfortunately, the last gadoba (the plant Riva saved in bk 6)warns him that the shadows are returning much earlier to exact their revengeand commit the genocide they intended from the start. Knowing full well theyaren’t ready, Trellis despairs, that why now of all moments, the moment wherehe is now desiring to live did the gadoba ask him to die to sacrifice himselffor Alledia. But Trellis comes to terms to impending death and plans to facethe shadows on the new moon, which is a month later. Father Hope tells him thathis century will only end under the light of the full moon with his son in hisarms.
He does tell Riva all of this, and she despairs as well, buthe tries to reassure her. He then goes on behind the scenes to prepare Allediaonce he’s gone, all the while spending whatever time he has left with hisfamily. Ravis thought their father was feeling sad, and tries to cheer him up, andalthough he does smile, it cant seem to reach his eyes. Thus, when Trellis isaround his 50s, he suddenly disappeared from his chambers in Valcor, the dooropening to his balcony and into the red rocks bellow. They can’t find his body, and the scene was ruled as suicide.
Thus to answer, Emily is dead, and Trellis is “dead”.
#Sorry for long post#ugh tell me if you want me to delete it#as I said bad idea to get me to rant#to say that it's well developed is not innacurate

History in Alabama, and it’s taken way too long to happen: Birmingham just became the first city in that state to pass an LGBTQ-nondiscrimination law.
The Birmingham City Council unanimously approved a nondiscrimination ordinance protecting people against being treated differently because of “race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or familial status.” They also created a commission to investigate violations of the policy.
Local and national activists have lobbied for such an ordinance for more than ten years. The Human Rights Campaign (HRC), which along with Equality Alabama has been working on the ordinance, said that the legislation will prohibit discrimination in housing, public accommodations and employment.
“Today, the City of Birmingham made history in Alabama by taking a crucial step toward ensuring LGBTQ residents are protected from discrimination,” said HRC President Chad Griffin. “In doing so, Birmingham joins Jackson and Magnolia, Mississippi in setting an example for cities across the South to follow. Now, it is time for all southern cities to guarantee the right of LGBTQ people to live their lives free from discrimination.”
“Today is a proud day for Birmingham, now the first city in Alabama to pass a non-discrimination ordinance that protects the LGBTQ community,” said Eva Kendrick, HRC Alabama state director. “Now it is time for other cities in Alabama to follow Birmingham’s lead in protecting all its people from bias and discrimination. Thank you to Council President Austin for his leadership in championing this ordinance and our partners Michael Hansen, Equality Alabama and Alabama Stonewall Democrats for their years of work to secure this victory for all of Birmingham. We look forward to the mayor signing this important ordinance into law.”
Well done, Birmingham. Cannot believe how many cities and states in the country still have so much catching up to do.

Personal life and social policy
I am the most honest when I educate my children about life challenges via relationship
My personal experience from my family background wasn't the best sample
The European community of communist countries dictatorship praised bodies and not the mind
Whether an intellectual or a primitive prostitute they were the same level
Disgusting
Petrovic I keep from 1800 ancestral long long line lost in a process which does not identify with any of this century ancestors
Peter Petrovic N II what he achieved was astonishing in his short life compared to how much new generation distroyed everything
Peter wasn't in favour to primitive religion like orthodoxy although had close family
Those Petrovic N who claim royal title currently reside in France aren't the direct family of Petrovic N II theyare from the some other family members not royal not very proud to be
I do notneglect ancestors I neglect criminal behaviour if Ido not feel well about someone who suppose to be a family I won't like it
Petrovic wasn't religious neither was my father both western oriented as far as Im aware
Both interested in literature both had fast intellect fast mind not fast tongue as chatting does not resolve things
Why I had hard life although it was peace because of inadequate family relations inadequate law more precisely mismatched couple relations
The main cause of the consequences
Matching couple will improve institutions and private lives so let people match themselves without political barriers
Things to consider
1.race
2.gender
3.sexuality
4.education
5.talent
6.title
7.territory
8.parental skills
It must be proper thinking ahead
Example how other people's issues became my issues
Parental incapacity primitive mother neglectfull grandparents stolen from my father's inheritance made me homless
The exhusband's also neglected by his family became a financial abuser surviving via family element gained qualifications gained property gained welfare and gave peanuts in return to the family
Companies employers abusers tax evaders you name it I attract criminals
Infertile women exhusband's partner apparently wealthy my children suffer from herfinancial abuse
My children also will have problems in the future because of parental sins
I do not have problems I am private person neglected by neglected profiles
I have a house just being stolen by those I named
Consequential events prevent me lead normal life
I developed proficiently in knowledge even religion
Political parties won't make difference if the system remains the same
I work on it by myself as a future reference to my children something they could possibly extend develop
As ending old cycle starts with new cycle of event
I already labelled those just current social environment isn't showing any interest in perusing
Start being a good parent to your children so your children can be good parents to their children
Concept Organic Origin masterpiece 😊

₊˚ ♥ hair
◦ dark brown + short and cropped ◦
⇻╼▸⋅ Lisa has beautiful dark hair with lighter tones. She loves her hair. It’s not a gentle wave to it which at least she thinks is cute. She tends to style it the same way all the time for the most part due to its length. However, when doing work around the house she will put it back in a tinny tiny ponytail.
₊˚ ♥ piercings
◦ three on each ear ◦
⇻╼▸⋅ Lisa has 6 earlobe piercings (3 on each side) that go through the earlobe, starting towards the bottom-center of the lobe. She got her first piercing on each side a couple months after she was born so she can’t remember the pain of those too much. However, she’s pretty sure it felt just as bad as the 2nd and 3rd ones. She can handle pain, but she doesn’t exactly like it. She’s just happy they look good.
◦◍○◌ ♥ ◌○◍◦
◦ 𝓅𝑒𝓇𝓈𝑜𝓃𝒶𝓁𝒾𝓉𝓎 ◦
₊˚ ♥ positive traits

⇻╼▸⋅ Lisa is also very charismatic. Charm and popularity are qualities she has in spades. She has always been able to instinctively know how to capture someone attention, and pick up on mood and motivation in ways that allow her to communicate with reason, emotion, passion, restraint – whatever the situation calls for. She is able to shift their tone and manner to reflect the needs of the audience.
◦ good leader ◦
⇻╼▸⋅ Lisa is a great natural leader. More than seeking authority herself, she welcomes her leadership role. She is often suppered by the many admirers of her strong personality. She doesn’t take bullshit from anyone and is proud to show it.

Profile
Height: 5'6" Age: 59 (season 3) Weight: 138lbs Eyes: green Blood: A-
Hailing from Manila, Philippines, Malaya is a woman in her late fifties with tanned skin and brown hair pulled into a low ponytail streaked with strands of white and gray with wrinkles framing her green eyes and a small scar visible on the side of her neck. She wears high-waisted jeans, a brown button-up shirt tucked into them, a beige cardigan, and comfortable, slip-on brown shoes. For accessories, Malaya has silver hoop earrings dangling from her ears and a brown leather watch on her left wrist.
Per her suspect appearance in The Brave and The Dead, it is known that Malaya eats halo-halo, has visited the Caribbean, and knows electronics.
Synopsis
Malaya was the killer in The Brave and The Dead.
She was a SOMBRA agent sent to watch the Clayton family under the guise of being the children's nanny. SOMBRA forced Cedric to hire her, and she kept an eye on him and his wife to ensure they followed orders. She hated having to take care of children, but she knew SOMBRA would reward her for her work.
Malaya knew that Cedric had hired Wilfred to protect the children. She acted like she didn't know and monitored the butler who monitored her. She knew that if Wilfred attacked her, she could easily take him down. She was younger, faster, stronger, and more agile than the butler. He might have had more experience, but she had skills he never could.
But eventually, the Clayton children grew up, and her nanny services were no longer required. She tried to work elsewhere in the mansion, she was even willing to serve as a maid, but Cedric managed to avoid all of her suggestions. And so she reluctantly left England, but not without hiding countless surveillance bugs around the Clayton home.
Malaya's next assignment for SOMBRA was to infiltrate the Moon family. The Moons were incredibly wealthy and highly influential; if SOMBRA could get them on their side, they would gain a new advantage against the Bureau. She became their nanny and slowly earned their trust, beginning with the children, especially the Moons' only son, Theo.
After becoming trustworthy, Malaya accompanied the Moons on a trip to her home country, the Philippines. She stayed in her personal home while the Moons were in a hotel. Malaya got word from SOMBRA that the Claytons would also be arriving in Manila and was ordered to remind Cedric and Evangeline what would happen if they disobeyed orders.
Malaya was prepared to use the Claytons' daughters against them and was plotting a way to kidnap Eliza and Esther. But she knew she would need to get Wilfred out of the way, so she followed the butler to Fort Santiago. When the time was right, she attacked, tasing him to overpower him before slicing Wilfred's throat open, leaving the man to bleed out while she fled.
She was sure she would get away with killing Wilfred, so Malaya was furious when she was arrested. She was even more enraged when the Bureau's mole informed her that the Claytons were now under the agency's protection and SOMBRA wouldn't be able to use Clayton Technologies anymore. Malaya swore she would be freed from her prison once SOMBRA took over the world and vowed revenge against those who put her there, starting with the Claytons.
Story Information
First appeared: The Brave and The Dead
Trivia
Her name means "free." This is ironic because she is now in prison for the rest of her life
She tried to build trust with the Clayton and Moon children in hopes that when SOMBRA took over the world, they would ally with them
She was one of the SOMBRA agents who attacked Cedric and Evangeline. She's also the one who stabbed Cedric under his eye
She would send Cedric and Evangeline pictures of their children while the kids slept with her holding a gun to their heads to remind the parents what would happen if they disobeyed SOMBRA

Situated deep in the heart of Savior territory, Outpost Delta operates out of a derelict auto factory and is responsible the construction and maintenance of the Saviors’ fleet of vehicles. It’s also home to a large number of families and small children.
Delta is the former location of a settlement called the Caravan, founded by a group of survivors who traveled the country in a fleet of vehicles until an epidemic of norovirus forced them to stop travelling and set up camp. The settlement quickly became a target for the Saviors, and while the people of the Caravan put up a fight, eventually their numbers and supplies had been so drastically reduced that one day the Saviors were able to walk through the gates and take over.
Residents at Delta are divided into a few different groups. There is an even mix of genders and many different races represented at the outpost. Marginalized sexualities, genders, and abilities are accepted and protected. Accommodations are made for those with physical disabilities.
Saviors
Saviors at Delta serve the same function as at the Sanctuary. They keep the outpost safe from walkers and anyone dumb enough to attack. They also keep order within the outpost, making sure that no one there is planning to run or go against Negan’s rules. Some Saviors are at Delta because they requested that their families be moved there.
Civilians
The backbone of the outpost, civilians are made up of the people who keep Delta working. About half of the civilians spend their time working on the Saviros’ fleet of vehicles. Many civilians keep the building and the defenses of the outpost maintained. While Delta is not a fully self-sustaining outpost, it does have crops, and some civilians are assigned to work those. A small, trusted number of civilians work with the orphaned children at the daycare, and are essentially guardians to those who come in without a parent or parents. Pretty much anyone who isn’t a Savior or a prisoner will slot into this group.
Prisoners
People captured by the Saviors can be sent to Delta if they show a particular mechanical aptitude or intelligence. Upon arrival, they’re given a ration card that can be filled by successfully fixing vehicles or showing other mechanical ability. Once the ration card is full and they’ve proven that they aren’t going to try to escape, they’re upgraded to normal rations and essentially become civilians. If they aren’t able to contribute, they’re sent back to the Sanctuary or to another outpost. Prisoners that attempt to escape are chased and returned to the outpost.
Residents at Delta aren’t generally subject to physical abuse, but it does happen. The Saviors will use physical pain and the threat of it to keep captives in line.
Anyone who attempts or commits sexual assault is delivered to Negan for punishment.
Savior OC - Original bio located here
The last remaining survivor from the original Caravan group, Grace is the defacto head of Outpost Detla. She keeps the outpost running on schedule, getting vehicles together to deliver to the Sanctuary, managing food and other supplies, along with ensuring that the families and children that make Delta home are kept relatively comfortable. She’s also been known to go out and lead scavenging expeditions personally, as well as going on the hunt for anyone who attempts to escape.
Delta is unique among Savior outposts in that it hosts a larger than average number of families. Saviors and civilians that are able to prove themselves useful are able to bring their families to Delta where they can have some semblance of a normal life together.
Children raised at Delta are able to be around children their own age and are raised either by their own parents or the civilians running the daycare and lessons. There’s a semi-formal system for education that grows and develops with each new child that is integrated into it. Basic first aid, self defense, and vehicle maintenance are included, along with whatever math, science, english, and history from the old world that have been scavenged up.
Kids around the age of ten and older who have proven themselves responsible enough are allowed to carry weapons.
Teenagers who are brought to the outpost are evaluated on a case by case basis. Some are immediately given the trust and responsibilities of civilians, while the more dangerous and headstrong ones will be watched carefully. A teenager that proves to be too rebellious or dangerous will be treated like a prisoner until they can become productive, or is returned to the Sanctuary.
Q. Is this an RP community?
A. No, it’s more of a playground, a fannon location that people can feel free to play around in, reference, have threads in and such, even if the thread isn’t actually with me or Grace involved.
Q. Are there any rules?
A. Not really. You can even modify stuff about the location to suit whatever threads/lines you’re doing. There’s just a few basic tenants that make Delta what it is, all the other stuff is up to your interpretation:
Delta is in an abandoned auto factory and the people there work on vehicles for the Saviors
A disproportionate number of families with small children live at the outpost, along with orphans. There’s daycare and lessons for the kids, and resources are shared freely through the community.
Grace is the defacto leader of the outpost, but is more of a middle-manager type, she handles schedules, processing new residents, and the care of the orphaned children.
People who try to leave the outpost and are pursued and brought back or executed if needed. Some might get sent back to the Sanctuary if their crimes are particularly egregious.
Q. Does this mean I can write Grace as an NPC?
A. You can definitely reference her as a figure of authority at Delta. Like ‘we need to get this done before Grace comes back’ or ‘Grace is out scavenging.’ That kind of thing is just fine. Just try not to do anything wildly out of character. She doesn’t have a torture basement and she doesn’t go against Negan. Just use your best judgement.
Q. This is neat! Is there a tag or something where I can see threads that involve Delta?
A. Yes! Let’s use the tag OutpostxDelta because I’m not super original.
Q. This is a cool idea, can I send you headcannons/ideas about the outpost? Can I make my own location?
A. Yes! You sure as hell can. This is like a toy that I want to share with everybody. And if someone else wanted to do something similar, I think that would be awesome.
Q. This is dumb.
A. It definitely is. But hopefully it’ll be fun, too.

As a non-binary fan of SoC, I like to think about the implications of this scene a lot:
“Is Inej Ghafa your real name?”
A strange sound escaped Inej’s throat, part sob, part laugh. A weak, embarrassing sound. But it had been months since she’d heard her own name, her family name.
“Yes,” she managed.
“Is that what you prefer to be called?”
“Of course,” she said, then added, “Is Kaz Brekker your real name?”
“Real enough.”
Because it shows that Kaz understands the weight and importance of being called a name you want and being regarded/addressed in the way you need to be. (Inej is heavily connected to her birth name and so hearing and going by it means so much after having been called a false, objectifying one. And Kaz’s original last name is one he has a complicated relationship with and so goes by another.)
And I think about this scene a lot because it really strongly supports the fact that were Kaz ever to hire or work with a trans or gender-variant person, he wouldn’t bat a fucking eye.
I mean, if you think about how trans people have historically been pushed to the margins of society and work/live in poor areas and have a high rate of sex work, you can bet your ass it’s SUPER likely the Barrel has its fair share of trans residents. And as Kaz has declared himself on multiple occasions, he knows everything that goes on in Ketterdam. He’d be in the know about all of it.
When he was hiring Inej on he literally asked her if she preferred to be called her birth name or not! Like, talk about a trans-inclusive question.
I mean, Kaz is in a gang with someone people routinely call Teapot for god’s sake, you really think he’s gonna get hung up by a name that’s traditionally gendered one way or another? The knowledge of someone’s trans identity would be something Kaz would just file away like any other fact about someone, same as their favorite coffee house, the things they spend their income on, what languages they speak, etc. It all goes in a little folder in his devious head to pull if he needs it.
Like, obv I wouldn’t put it past Kaz to be shitty about gender occasionally because we’ve seen that, if anything, Kaz Brekker is not sensitive about personal shit. He pokes at and makes comments about Inej’s and Matthias’ closely held religious beliefs, Nina’s devotion to her problematic country, Jesper’s gambling problems. But not in the way of reducing them to it. He makes jibes at Inej’s Suli proverbs and beliefs but he’s never fucking racist about it. His insults and remarks always have a personal slant to them. They’re always about the person and their relationship to the identity, never the group of people at large. That’s the thing, it’d be just like any other factor about someone. He’s insensitive about aspects of identity but he’s never mercher-level shitty and cruel. Take how Kaz treats Wylan’s learning disability and illiteracy, for instance. He’s like “so what? that’s just how you are. You can still make explosives, why should I care?” Which is how he pretty much treats anyone and regards anything.
Kaz would be more likely to have the attitude of: “Does being genderfluid throw off your shot? No. So I’m not gonna fucking worry about it.” and “You wanna be referred to by they/them pronouns? No problem. That’s good, actually. More ambiguous. Gives away less info when people overhear things about you.”
I mean he wouldn’t be a super great ally or anything, let’s be real here. Take for example how he addressed Inej’s situation when she first joined the Dregs and moved to the Slat, being a young girl and a person of color. He told her that he wouldn’t be around to defend her against the disrespect she’d face and she’d have to watch her own back. Yet he still in words and actions shows that disrespect toward her because of her gender or ethnicity is never validated or welcomed around him. He’d probably be that way about gender identity and pronouns too. Like, he wouldn’t go out of his way to correct people if they misgendered someone but he’d make super witty burns on the person being shitty, he’d used correct words, he’d generally gain the intellectual upper hand in that way he has. He’d make it known that shitty comments and attitudes aren’t welcome or appreciated.
And Kaz would almost NEVER misgender anyone. Think about it. Kaz prides himself on knowing everything about everyone, about seeming like he’s mastered everything, and having a mind like a steel trap. He’d see calling someone by the wrong name, gendered word, or pronoun as a sign that he was somehow not as on top of things, forgetting information and details. He’d see it as a sign of a personal failing and as broadcasting something slipping through the cracks of his iron hold on information and so he’d be the last person to slip and call people the wrong things. Kaz’s pride is a fucking force to be reckoned with and to have that on the side of him getting somebody’s pronouns right is a hell of a thing.
Like ??,? The fact that my favorite thief crew would be inclusive gives me so much life. I mean @lbardugo has already woven such a beautifully complex world that is so truly detailed when it comes to diversity and the way personal identity is held by the characters when it comes to race, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, and class. And so for me to fill in that final gap myself as a reader with so much canon evidence to support that my fictional faves would be super chill with someone like me is my everything. Honestly.
tl;dr: Canon supports the notion that Kaz Brekker–scariest, cruelest, most hardened criminal in Ketterdam–wouldn’t be a transphobic shitbag, what excuse do you have?
#six of crows#the dregs#kaz brekker#ive just been thinking about this a lot#look im a nonbinary person so i inevitable consider when reading books where and how trans and nonbinary people would fit into those worlds#and i consider what the characters' words and actions say about how they would potentially view someone like me if they met them in-world#and because soc is so fantastically diverse in so many other ways#ive thought so much about all the ways canon supports the fact that kaz and the other crew members wouldn't transphobic assholes#and that means a lot#and is more than i can say for a lot of media even media i may love#so i wanted to write out my thoughts cus i feel like this is hella important#long post#yeah sorry for how long it got i have a lot of feelings

6 Rising Nutrition Trends To Watch Out For This Decade
Can we admit that the final decade of vitamin tendencies left us confused AF? From the time when kale was hailed the miracle leaf to when everybody and their mom had been doing Atkins. We’ve seen the emergence of lab-grown meat and ‘impossible’ plant-based burgers, the rise of cauliflower pizza crusts and nut milk. From bone broth to 100 scrumptious methods to eat chickpeas to intermittent fasting — we had been all actually confused about what to eat and when to eat it. But is the subsequent decade of vitamin any higher? The consultants weigh in.
Plant-based on the rise
2020 Got off to a fairly inexperienced begin with the Golden Globes serving their first-ever plant-based dinner at this yr’s awards — which truthfully isn’t a lot of a shock. Globally, we’ve seen the exceptional rise of extra plant-based consuming amongst the privileged who simply can afford a excessive consumption of meat. SA Registered Dietitian and Association for Dietetics in South Africa spokesperson, Kelly Scholtz says: “An affordable diet in the average SA household is already very much plant-based, with small amounts of meat, chicken or fish used when possible, with beans, peas, lentils and foods like milk and eggs providing alternative and good sources of protein. It is already clear that restaurants and retailers in South Africa are stocking more meat alternatives and vegetarian and vegan products in support of this trend, which suggests that there is more demand for plant-based options from consumers.”
Finger on the heartbeat(s)
It appears like yearly there’s a ‘new’ meals supply that everybody simply can’t get sufficient of, and this yr it looks like pulses are the place it’s at. ADSA spokesperson, Cath Day, explains that pulses are nice from a dietary and sustainability standpoint. “Pulses are the edible seeds of plants in the legume family. They grow in pods and come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colours, and include dry beans, dry broad beans, dry peas, chickpeas, cowpeas, pigeon peas and lentils,” she says. Pulse crops assist lower greenhouse gases, enhance soil well being, and use much less water than different crops. Alow-fat supply of protein with excessive ranges of protein and fibre, pulses additionally include necessary nutritional vitamins and minerals like iron, potassium and folate.
One much less glass of bubbly
Everyone loves a glass (or three) of wine however in keeping with research we slowly saying no to alcohol. Research exhibits that alcohol consumption is on the decline with any of us choosing alcohol-free choices. But on condition that South Africans are among the heaviest drinkers on the earth, may this be a development we’ll catch on to? Registered dietitian, Retha Harmse hopes so, “With alcohol being a non-nutrient and high in kilojoules, a whopping 29 kilojoules per gram, it is no secret that alcohol abstinence is a good thing for your health and waistline. With the worldwide focus on moving towards healthier behaviours and habits, I do hope that alcohol consumption in the country will decrease in the new decade.” READ MORE: What Is Dry January — And What Are The Health Benefits? Giving up the exclusionary diets
The final two-three years noticed the rise of the gluten-free and dairy-free way of life, it appeared like everybody grew illiberal to some meals or the opposite. But are we really illiberal or is it a case of leaping onto the bandwagon? Registered dietitian, Retha Harmse says that many individuals self-diagnose intolerances and implement unnecessarily restrictive diets with out skilled recommendation. “Besides being a lot of trouble, dietary exclusions can be very expensive, possibly cause nutrient deficiencies, and might be the origin of an eating disorder or disguise one. Studies have also found that exclusionary diets are socially isolating,” she explains. Rather than going surfing or beginning the most recent fad weight-reduction plan, ask your dietitian, you'll get a greater, sustainable plan that takes your entire individual, your medical historical past and way of life under consideration. Sustainability is a should
Not that sustainability is something new however this yr and the yr past we’re going to need to do extra to assist the planet. Extreme climate circumstances and species extinction apart, the best impression of a disrupted local weather will probably be on human meals manufacturing and meals availability. The world’s agricultural system as it's will depend on the soundness of the earth’s local weather. “I think that there will be a combination of active and passive consumer behaviour change. Individuals who care about sustainability will make conscious choices, such as more plant-based eating; more careful water use; less plastic packaging and more recycling. These consumer choices prompt businesses to produce foods with sustainability in mind. There is also likely to be a passive or unavoidable change in behaviour in future because many food products will likely become more expensive if they are not sustainably produced, or if extreme drought and other climate change makes production more challenging for farmers,” explains Kelly.
Body positivity for the win
The final 5 years noticed everybody turning into a bit extra body-positive which has additionally modified the best way through which many individuals approached vitamin. People are slowly shifting in the direction of conscious and practising intuitive consuming, due to the truth that we’re embracing our present bodily state. “The spotlight is on eating healthy and living well because you love yourself and your body, rather than only an attempt to start loving your body. That links so perfectly with the body positive movement,” says Retha Harmse. Cath Day agrees wholeheartedly that all of us need to have a constructive physique picture, no matter how society and well-liked tradition view very best form, dimension, and look. “It is not just about challenging how society views people based upon their physical size and shape, but it also recognizes that judgments are often made based on gender, race, sexuality, and disability,” she says. “It is all the time vitally necessary to be physique constructive and to concentrate on residing a wholesome life which incorporates ensuring you train most days, select wholesome meals and snacks, sleep sufficient, handle your stress, chorus from smoking and have function and love in your life in your social and emotional wellbeing.” READ MORE ON: Nutrition Nutrition Advice !function(f,b,e,v,n,t,s){if(f.fbq)return;n=f.fbq=function(){n.callMethod?n.callMethod.apply(n,arguments):n.queue.push(arguments)};if(!f._fbq)f._fbq=n;n.push=n;n.loaded=!0;n.version='2.0';n.queue=;t=b.createElement(e);t.async=!0;t.src=v;s=b.getElementsByTagName(e);s.parentNode.insertBefore(t,s)}(window,document,'script','https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/fbevents.js');fbq('init','2162521310492989');fbq('track','PageView'); Source link Read the full article

They were also incredibly racist and basically forced Ayumu to change his name under the grounds he got to pick his own new name.
Circumstances arose which made his foster parents completely disown him, giving him the mansion he used to reside in as a ‘gift’ along with money to keep him quiet. They chat like old friends and he’s helped her out when she needs it.
How Do They Think Others Perceive Them: Jack has been criticized by the media of his looks and the methods he chooses, as well as the criticism he gets on a daily basis from the Xiaolin and Heylin belligerents for his inability to fight for long periods of time. Now, since Jack wakes up early, his morning routine consists of taking a shower, doing his hair and making sure he looks his best. This can take about two hours. Now he’s out of the door and off to his Office. He gets the rundown from Sora, his secretary on what needs to be done. Other Notes:
- Jack’s hair is curled. It is no longer spiked as it usually is, and reaches his shoulders, in some cases longer. Sometimes, his hair may cover his left eye, but only slightly (like, you can still see his eye, it’s not completely covered.
- If he cuts his hands while working or damages them worse than a cut, he’ll wear full fingered black leather gloves.
-When he sets his mind to it, Jack can actually be a great tactician and think of fool-proof plans. When he rushes into things, it is then he messes up.
-Jack really doesn’t mind his albinism. He would rather stay indoors and away from everyone, but in a logical sense, cannot stay indoors all of the time.
-Both Introverted and Extraverted.
-Jack can have severe panic attacks and sometimes hurt himself if he doesn’t calm down.
-He’s great with a couple of knives and has his own collection of them. He eventually got those knife throwing lessons on top of the ice-skating ones.
-Overly sexual and flirtatious. Nothing else to it.
-Deeply philosophical.
-He has modified his helipack to where two propellers now stick out from the bottom, so now there is both propellers on the top and bottom. When he needs to, they combine to form wings that further expand his movement. This is how he’s able to reach different parts of the country so quickly and fly to others.
-Jack is a ruthless businessman, having built it on his own without the help of anyone, mainly based on various technologies and newly innovative robotics. He runs it kind of like a monopoly and has had controversy in which he has been accused of doing so, but no one has enough substantial proof. He’s had some run ins with Kimiko’s father, and hates Pandabubba to death.
Notes:
[1] Ayumu: 歩 (Ayu): “Walk” 夢 (Mu): “Dream, vision.”
Saito: 斎 (Sai): “Purification, worship” 藤 (Tou): “Wisteria”
Sayo: 紗 ( 小 combined with 代): “small, generation” or 世 (yo), meaning “world”, so it can essentially mean “small generation” or “small world”.
[2] For the purposes of this blog, Jack has no relation to Megan unless it is in an AU.
[3] I won’t really have Jack get all religious. This is just to give you an idea on what he conforms to.
[4] Without the presence of an AU
[5] Without the presence of an AU
[6] Without the presence of an AU
[7] I don’t have a special story of how Jack lost his virginity. Just know it was purely consensual.

A statement from the staff of Bulbagarden
The staff of Bulbagarden is writing this as the leaders of a community focused on a video game. We aren't saying this because of a video game; instead, we're speaking out because we are members of a larger community. When the foundational values of our community are at stake, we see no option but to speak out.
The recent US Executive Order, which bans travel to the US from people born in 7 countries (even if they are legal permanent residents of the US, or in some cases citizens), is antithetical to our values. Free travel and non-discrimination are more than abstract moral goods; they are the values which allowed many of our staffers' families to exist safely in the lands which they now call home. We are a collection of expats, migrants, refugees, and explorers. Many of us had families that chose to search for a better life. Other families left under threat from their homelands, with no choice but to undertake a dangerous journey in search of peace and freedom.
We denounce this Executive Order in the strongest terms. We oppose discrimination directed towards any human being based on their race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, or national origin. We will continue to speak up against this and other actions which come into conflict with our core values of equality, openness, and compassion. We encourage you to do the same.
