Me encanta cuando se toca el tema de Tails en la batalla de Kukku.

Pero si a estas nos vamos, este niño a pasado de demasiado para solo tener 8 años ¿Cuantas veces estuvo a punto de morir en esas batallas? Incluso sin saber que eran las esmeraldas las protegio con toda su fuerza.

Me imagino que las esmeraldas lo protegieron del fuego, ese zorrito los salvo, es justo que hagan lo mismo (?)

No me puedo imaginar como tomo Sonic el hecho de que su hermanito, a tan corta edad haya peleado una guerra el solo, tomando quien sabe cuantas vidas para sobrevivir.

Solo me imagino que maldice al mundo y abraza a su hermanito.

Tiene tanto sentido que Tails prefiera el fuego que duele un poco por todo el transfondo de eso.

Tails has always liked fire.

Sonic has too, but he mostly likes it because it's the opposite of water.

For Tails, fire was a friend. It kept him warm when his fur wasn't able to do so on its own. It cooked his food and provided a perfect mood for spending a calm night with his friends.

It protected him.

Even before he met Sonic, fire protected him during one of the scariest moments in his life.

He doesn't remember why he decided he had to be the one to take on the armada that had attacked Cocoa Island. He learned to believe it was just a ‘he was there, so he might as well do it’ situation. It didn't really make sense to him though, he was usually too scared to do anything when he was four.

But he did it anyway.

Fighting the Battle Kukku wasn't so bad. They had plenty of guns and other weapons, but it was pretty easy to overwhelm them by throwing a bomb or two.

The hardest fights were against Speedy and his dad, The Great Battle Kukku. They dragged on for what felt like forever, and he was so sore by the end of it all.

He was too sore, in fact. He couldn't move once he killed The Great Kukku. He could only limply cradle the stones as the ship fell towards the ocean. He wasn't sure why the Battle Kukku were so intent on collecting these stones, but it had to mean they were important.

There was nothing else alive on the ship but Tails.

Well–nothing except the fire that was left behind during the battles.

It was so hot it felt like he was being burned alive, but it was still the safest he'd ever felt. The warm flames circled him protectively, not letting anything else come near him or the stones.

He wasn't sure how he survived the crash or how he even managed to get off the island. All he knows is that he fell asleep in the warmth of the flames, and then he was back on Westside Island.

Sometimes he still wished he never woke up at all.

He still felt the lingering warmth of the fire when he woke up. It didn't last long, but it was nice.

He's liked fire ever since. He was always gentle when near a new flame, always taking extra precautions to make sure it wouldn't die out.

He owed it that much. It kept him alive all those years ago, so it was only fair he repaid the favor now.

Also shipping aside Speedy means so much to me as a rival for Tails because I could really see them both growing as characters thanks to each other. Like yeah Speedy's not nice to Tails initially but I could see Tails growing from the experience and learning how to stand up for himself, be more independent, etc. Meanwhile I think by meeting Tails Speedy's whole world view starts to shift, especially if he's very much been coddled by his father and doesn't know much about mobius outside of the battle bird armada. And as the next heir to inherit the battle bird armada (I assume anyway) it'd help him to grow as a person to be humbled by someone like Tails. Anyway I miss their Archie interactions so much and I want the Battle Bird Armada to rejoin the comics so bad! Or a Tails Adventure remake or sequel!

But anyway the comics were cooking with Speedy and I miss him so much!

"her main motivation was that she wanted to impress Eggman and make him appreciate her. But obviously she always lost and Eggman started to get impatient with her. Even Sonic and others started to comment how desperate and pathetic she comes off in her later stories. Eventually it culminated in Eggman taking away her shapeshifting abilities and turning her into a badnik because she failed so many times. The last story she appears in is basically her having a breakdown while Tails just kinda. Hangs around."
