Battle Athletes Daiundoukai ReSTART, l’anime debutterà in Giappone ad aprile

Svelati locandina, teaser trailer e prime doppiatrici del reboot dello sportivo sci-fi anni 90′.

Pubblicati una nuova immagine promozionale e un primo teaser trailer di “Battle Athletes Daiundoukai ReSTART!”, la nuova serie del franchise sportivo sci-fi nato negli anni 90′ con il manga di Yuuki Nakano, che andrà in onda sulle tv giapponesi da aprile 2021.

L’anime si baserà sul fumetto “Pale Blue Dot: Battle Athletess Daiundoukai ReSTART!”, lanciato nell’estate 2019 da Rui Takatou e come suggerito dal titolo costituirà una sorta di reboot per il progetto. La storia è ambientata nell’anno 5100 e, pur introducendo delle nuove atlete, vede comparire anche personaggi storici come Lahrri Feldnunt, Kris Christopher e Akari Kanzaki.

I primi membri del cast confermati sono i seguenti.

Kanata Akehoshi: Sumire Morohoshi (Emma in The Promised Neverland)

Eva Garenstein: Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa Ackerman ne L’Attacco dei Giganti)

Shelley Wong: Miyu Tomita (Ebisu in Dorohedoro)

Per quanto riguarda lo staff, l’anime è diretto da Noriyoshi Sasaki (Holmes of Kyoto, Joshi Kausei) presso lo studio Seven (I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying, My Wife is the Student Council President) e ad occuparsi della sceneggiatura c’è Youhei Kashii. Il design dei personaggi è adattato da Kazunori Haruyama, mentre le musiche per la colonna sonora sono firmate da un nutrito gruppo di compositori: hisakuni ( Seven Senses of the Re'Union), Yasuhiro Gasa (sigla di testa di Pan de Peace!), Shingo Yamazaki (sigla di coda di Blade Dance of the Elementalers), Takuma Sogi (Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei shitemita.), Yuuko Takahashi, Kazuki Tomita (sigla di coda di Show by Rock!! Stars!!), Kenta Yokochi e Supa Love.

Le belle atlete del Sistema Solare hanno fatto la loro prima apparizione in forma animata nel 1997 con una serie OVA di 6 episodi, seguito poco dopo da una serie televisiva di 26 puntate. Entrambe le produzioni AIC avevano le stesse premesse e gli stessi personaggi, ma la serie tv rivisitava sia trama che caratterizzazione.
