What the different Romeros would being doing to celebrate their birthday
Our main boy would probably hold a lavish party to celebrate himself and purposely not invite Dallas. He’d be fully dressed up and have lots of strawberries. All kinds of desserts and food, loud music, the works. He and his boyfriend Bastian would dance and watch the stars afterwards. Maybe at the end of the night, he’d get the old gang together. Flynn, Artemis, Spencer, Harper, Cecelia, Dallas and himself. They’d laugh and joke like they used to and for a time, it’ll feel like nothing had changed. Maybe the portraits in the hallway will wish him a happy birthday as he makes his way to bed.
Warped Romero probably got the day off so he could spend time with Bastian. Artemis would make sure nothing went wrong so he has the perfect birthday. He gets to sleep in, have some breakfast, maybe even see his family. The day will mainly be spent with Bastian and Artemis who likes to always check up on him. He gets to rest and relax before going right back to work the next day.
Romero in Acrobat’s world is probably spending his birthday alone. Maybe he called Artemis to hang out with him since his father was more than likely too busy to notice what day it was. The Astrophel family isn’t too well likes because of their business so it isn’t out of the ordinary for him to spend it alone. But at least he has one person who came to celebrate. He ordered a strawberry ice cream cake and shared it with Artemis and Carnage (Carnage ate most of it.)
Bird Eater (Spider-Man Romero) definitely spent the day outside, hanging out with Cecelia and Spencer who were determined to give him a good birthday. Unbeknownst to him, they stole gifts and cake from shops and prepared a miniature party for him. He got time to tend to his garden and make jam from his strawberry plant named Jen. She was a gift from a friend. ( @burnt-pheonix ) Spencer made sure that none of the other villains dared to try anything that might ruin his birthday while Cecelia planned a nice date for Romero and Bastian. Bastian managed to swipe an expensive pair of earrings for him, against Romero’s wishes. All in all, one of his more peaceful days.
Roadtrip Romero got to go to his favorite museum and spend the day wandering around and buying things from the gift shop. Maybe afterwards, he got to go to the beach, buy all the taffy he wants while Dallas joked about the birds on the beach being his relatives.
Neither Beetlejuice Romero, nor Haunted House Romero would do much to celebrate since they’re dead. Possibly mess around but nothing special.
Sitcom Romero had a classic birthday episode. No one seemed to remember it was his birthday and Artemis was left to spend the day with him doing boring things. Meanwhile back at the house, Dallas organized a huge party for his best friend, having Bastian be a surprise guest. By the end of the night, Romero is frustrated and tired, but when he walks in, he’s surprised by all his friends and family.
Knight au Romero spent the entire day with his most loyal knight, Dallas. They hung out just like they always did, getting treats and having fun.
And last but not least, Salvaged au Romero got to celebrate with everyone in the void house, trying to enjoy the day even though it reminded him of painful memories
There’s more but those are currently the only ones I remember.

Ok ok, so in response to your last post :>
1. How exactly did the districts get divided up? Like, were Lazuli originally just one big kingdom?
2. My favorite of all questions, favorite colors? (This is for Romero, Flynn, Dallas, Artemis, Bastian, Crovus, Julian, Ariel, and really any other goober you would like)
3. How did Meridian become the mayor(?) of her town? (I swear you said she was the mayor once)
4. How did you come up with the last name, Astrophel?
5. Have the people of Opal ever tried to overthrow/revolt against any of the Astrophels?
1. No the districts were never together but they’re mainly separated by the differences in terrains. Like there can be kingdoms like Nightshade or a bunch of cities like in Copperridge. Some ever stayed as a bunch of villages like in Colossus. Some districts that were there before like Dawn ceased to exist after wars like when the small village that bordered Tanzanite and Dawn became what is now known as Opal.
2. Romero’s favorite color is royal blue. Dallas’s favorite color is surprisingly mint green. Flynn’s is yellow. Bastian likes gold, both the metal and the color. Artemis likes darker shades of green. I know Corvus is literally the purple guy but his favorite color is actually sapphire blue. Julian likes magenta. Ariel likes indigo (totally not because it’s the name of her unofficial kid.) And Meridian really likes dark red.
3. Meridian isn’t the mayor of Silverstone but in all honesty she might as well be. Everyone in Nightshade knows who she is and she is known for taking care of people. Which is exactly how she ended up with three adopted kids. Her and her husband were always trying to help people.
4. Baby name website I believe. I was looking for a lot of star related names and since the Astrophel family’s whole thing is stars, I went with it.
5. Absolutely. Not a lot of people like the Astrophel family because, to put it lightly, they’re all power hungry maniacs. But these uprisings never succeed. I did tell you that every Astrophel has a title based on something they were famous for. Romero’s great-grandmother Octavia was known as The War Queen. And when her daughter became queen, she practically ran it for her, never letting Sabrina have any actual say. So no, any riots against the Astrophels were short-lived and unsuccessful.

Introduction to my Ocs
Dallas Curtis
Dallas is one of the main characters of my main story. Taking on the role of the hero, Dallas is a kind young man who puts the happiness and well-being of other far before his own. He is normally cheerful and works hard to make people smile. He is considered a walking corpse of sorts. He is very strong and has some troubling controlling it. Growing up, Dallas and his twin sister were raised by their aunt Maddie, who worked a lot of long hours.
Flynn Curtis
Flynn is Dallas' identical twin sister. Growing up, she aspired to be a hero. But instead becomes a villain, constantly finding herself having to face off against her brother. While Dallas is strong, Flynn is incredibly smart. She is an inventor, often making her own weapons. She has a huge sweet tooth. Flynn more on the quiet side and doesn't often visibly express her emotions, on the other hand Dallas is much louder and very expressive of his feelings. She loves talking about superheroes, horror movies and penguins.
Romero Astrophel
Prince of the Opal district, Romero is the main antagonist of the story. He follows in his father's footsteps to bring more nations under his rule. He is also hellbent on revenge against Dallas. He is highly dramatic and manipulative. He uses his abilities to get what he wants.
Sebastian Pyrite
Bastian for short. He basically takes care of Romero. Though he isn’t technically a villain, his loyalties lie with the antagonists. Originally, he was a thief, hopping from district to district and snatching valuable items. Now with the prince as his ally (and lover) he doesn’t need to steal because he has everything he could want or need.
Artemis Callaway
A shapeshifter working as double agent and aiding both heroes and the villains. She lives with her adoptive family, Meridian Dixon along with her two kids and the twins. She is a sarcastic workaholic, sometimes going days without sleep when working. She provides medicine and potions for the people of her hometown Silverstone and goes to sell them at the markets. Artemis is the youngest of her friends aside from her younger sister Harper.
So this is just a few characters since I have quite a few. I will introduce more of them later but for now, here's a little bit about some of the main ones. Feel free to ask about them. I love talking about these goofs.

OK SO
There is so much to say about Romero. I am a little ashamed to admit that he may be the character with the most lore out of all my characters. Even Dallas. And he’s meant to be the hero. So. Yeah safe to say he’s my favorite son. Mini disclaimer: My story is still a work in progress so there will be changes.
Starting from the beginning, Romero Michael Astrophel was born to his parents, Cassiopeia Atlas Astrophel and Corvus Astrophel, king and queen of the Opal district of Lazuli. His parents were an interesting bunch. Shunned by the rest of the Astrophel family because Cassie was from a farming family in the district of Nightshade. The only reason Corvus’s grandmother allowed them to marry is because the Atlas family is a long line of powerful sorcerers. So she knew that if they were to have a child, their magic would be strong. A siren and a sorceress. A unique pair. I know that he has a difficult relationship with them. BUT. Corvus genuinely did love him.
After Corvus’s “disappearance”, Romero was sent to live with a close friend of his mother, Scarlett Kingston. Scarlett was a conwoman and a very successful one at that, owning her own casino. Growing up, she often took Romero to work. He got her confidence and remarkable ability to lie. Considering she lived and worked in a city that was well known for making people famous, it was no wonder that he developed in interest in music and performances. Scarlett took him to many shows and he loved it. It actually led to meet his friend and eventually girlfriend, Cecelia. They both had a passion for music and would perform at Scarlett’s casino where Cecelia later became a singer. They later ended up dating after Cecelia confessed her feelings. But they didn’t last long. They still remain good friends though. What’s silly about Cecelia’s confession is that the day that she had the sudden decision to tell him, was the day that Dallas had worked up the courage to tell Romero that he has been head over heels for him since day one. (I can write about that if you guys want. >:) @thatmangledpheonix)
Overall, Romero is a very artistic guy. He paints, he sings, he learns piano, he likes theatre. He also loved fashion. It was a dream of his to make a career out of it. He learned to sew and made himself a coat (his proudest achievement)
He did inherit his parents’ strong magic abilities but struggled to use it properly, turning to Scarlett to teach him. Eventually he was strong enough to develop his powers more and use them for simple things. It was around this time that he was able to use his voice to persuade people. He didn’t use it much though, mainly focusing on developing his style of magic, which happened to revolve around stars. Hence him being the prince of stars. It may also be because of the fact that Estella, goddess of stars, was worshipped by the Astrophel family.
There may or may not have been a fight between him and Dallas that led Dallas to attempt to murder Romero by using a spell that would imprison him in ice.
Fast forwarding to his adulthood after the ice incident. He was rescued by a family of dragon thieves, specifically the middle child of the boys, Sebastian Pyrite, more commonly referred to as Bastian. Now, Romero was already a bird so he wasn’t a snow guy after the incident, he detests snow. He is usually seen wearing coats of some sort unless it’s extremely hot. Old memories of his family are coming back when he returns to the castle from his childhood. He finds out that Dallas had been attempting to kill him and told everyone he was dead. Romero doesn’t exactly like this.
So explaining how he turned into a villain is difficult. I apologize but I want to figure that out more. Anyways, he manipulates Dallas’s twin sister, Flynn into joining him. They were close friends and he knew Flynn was tired of living in Dallas’s shadow. So persuading her was easy. It was Artemis that was the challenge. Remember Breaking Point?
Anyways. Now he’s the flamboyant villain we all know and love. Meanwhile he’s trying to run a kingdom at the same time. My guy is stressed and very overwhelmed. His only comfort is his ahem private affairs. He finds physical affection comforting. Eventually he and Bastian start to develop feelings for each other. But course their relationship stays behind closed doors. What would the public say about an already disliked prince dating a thief?
Now time for the fun stuff! Rambling about him just in general.
He loves his friends dearly and views them as family. He LOVES strawberries. Anything strawberry related is something he would eat. He and Bastian have that relationship you know the one where like one person is like a loyal dog? I’m so sorry I genuinely can’t remember what it’s called. They are so silly. Like imagine just soft moments between them. Romero passing out at his desk and Bastian carrying him to bed, they attend a ball together but can’t dance together. Unless it was a masquerade which would be so cool. Fun fact: Romero always has to be the prettiest boy at the party. Having his hair nice is comforting to him because it gives him something to control. He also just likes looking fancy. His clothes, his hair, you name it. He is the fancy lad. I found a way to make him more evil. Like his father, he loves reading. He will sit in the library with his little reading glasses, robe on and just read until the sun comes up. He almost always wears his signature white gloves. Uhhh I think that’s it?
Holy shit this was a lot. And it’s kinda shit. If you enjoyed and want to know more or anything specific about him, please don’t hesitate to ask. I feel like if I have something specific to talk about, it will be more coherent.
@randowaffle
Hypothetically if I rambled about Romero, would you guys like it? I really haven’t been keeping y’all posted on how much the lore has changed. Except for those who I told literally everything (ahem @thatmangledpheonix @randowaffle)
I know there’s little bits I’ve shared. Genuinely if you guys have questions about characters established, updates on lore, or just wanting to know more about my little story, I would love you to ask. I really like talking about my little goobers.
