Space Goofettes

My Personal Take on the Genderbend! Space Goofs after seeing someone else's own version, I've been wanting to do an Hypothetical Rule 63 AU on One of My Favorite Obscure Cartoons since it's been so long that I've done some Genderswaps (which is really a huge fun challenge to Me).

Also including some GB Earthlings (both Canon and My OCs from my AU) as Well.

While making my own takes, I already came up with some Names for each of the Characters.

Before anyone dares to question Me, yeah, I changed the Space Goofs' surnames only for My Take mainly because I wanted to pull up a "Twist" around the Names, including adding Different Letters from the Alphabet like in some Masculine/Feminine Name Counterparts in their First Names just to sound more "akin" like to the Original Counterpart Names (like fitting in within a Rhythm based on their similar nature attached to the Said Name).

I also found out that apparently the word, "Etno" is Neptunian (as in the Planet, "Neptune" named after the Roman God) in which I twisted for Fem! Etno into "Laia" like a similar tongue-roll to "Salacia" (also a Planet named after another Roman Deity who was also Neptune's Wife) which is completely funny to Me because I happened to be a Big Huge Greco-Roman Myth nerd, lol.

I also have Another Version of Genderbend! Ambre (Ambrose) showing both designs based on My Redesign and the Canon Version from the Cancelled Movie.

I mean relatable. Davenzi is also my favourite evak couple. For a lot of reasons, but one main aspect you also mentioned. Them being genuinely best friends in love. They are attracted to each other, but they also love their personalities. This is what's lacking for me in other evaks couple's.

I also believe that davenzi is one of the couples who will stay together. (I actually know a lot of German couples who met in high school and are still together, in Germany that is not even that unrealistic).

yes exactly! all evaks r a bit different from each other but i think that davenzi definitely stands out as the couple who not only love each other romantically but would also be best friends in a world where they didn't fall in love! like it's hard to explain but can u imagine elu, for example, just being friends? i can't see them befriending each other at all but they have clearly fallen in love. same thing w og evak i feel. but davenzi? they could genuinely be best friends even if they weren't romantically involved, but since they are they get to have the best of both worlds which is much more appealing to me personally. i just love the dynamic where u act like best friends but r also madly in love w each other 😭 also yeah i definitely agree that davenzi would most likely stay together!!

i don't tend to think that much outside of canon so i don't have many HCs for any skam couples' future but i definitely see davenzi & og evak settling down together :') even tho i said that i don't rly like basile n therefore don't like daphné x basile objectively i still think they would last n start a family or smth! same w kiki & carlos which i probably wouldn't have said before but after seeing kiki in a few s5 clips i think they're a v mature couple now! unfortunately after the skamfr mess i can't rly see any other couples from there lasting 🥴 OG & druck yousana DEFINITELY would want to work it all out i believe. also an unpopular opinion maybe but i don't see either cris or joana being the type to have children or even get married so in my mind i see them growing old together but never truly settling down in one place just traveling & living their dreams w each other! other than those i don't rly view skam couples as anything more than smth that lasts a few years into ur 20s n then the couples might break up on good terms or smth 🤷‍♀️ i just think romantic couples r all skams' weaknesses n while i genuinely love some couples that i didn't mention here i can't imagine a clear future for them (for example norandro is one of my fave skam couples i love them but i don't necessarily see them being together in their 40s or smth which isn't bad imo! sometimes rly good relationships r still only meant to last a certain amount of time)

daphné and basile are the BEST couple in general like basile is a kinG and treats daphné the way any person deserves to be treated there’s nothing but love and support here they are top and that’s that on that

viri and hugo are a bit of a different breed bc hugo is more of a mahdi?? like i love them but hugo was never desperate he’s actually quite smooth and has moves and i love them together they don’t make me cringe!!

kiki and carlos i’d say are the chillest ones like they’re never in your face and they’re great in general 8/10

vilde and magnus i love them but they’re the only ones that meow like that’s just weird stop it !!

below are the results! there are 249 responses!

Part 1: Demographics

the majority of respondents were between 15 and 21, with some a little older and very few below 15.

85% of respondents were women, 4.5% were men, and 7.3% were nonbinary. 

a little over half (52.8%) of respondents were bi/pan, exactly a third (!) were lesbians, and a good portion were gay or questioning... one straight person took it lol

this one is hard to tally but common results: USA, Canada, UK, Sweden, Germany, Hungary, Brazil, Netherlands, and Denmark. i’ll include these 2 because i thought they were funny:

Part 2: General Questions

Best group chemistry: Netherlands (36.6%), France (29.2%), Spain (15.6%), Druck (10.7%), Austin (5.3%), Italy (2.5%), and no one for WTFock.

Best boy squad: Spain (32.9%), Italy (23.6%), Druck (21.5%), France (14.8%), and Netherlands and Austin both have 3% but in their defense there isn’t a boy squad really in those shows.

Best Joneva: Spain (33.9%), Druck (21.6%), Netherlands (20.8%), France (16.3%), Italy (6.9%), one lone vote for Austin, and none for WTFock. 

Best season 1: Netherlands (46.5%), Spain (28.6%), Austin (12.4%), Druck (7.5%), Italy (2.9%), France (1.2%), and WTFock (0.8%)

the most common answers to this were the carnival clip + the clip where they find out kelsey isn’t pregnant! also a bunch for the clip where shay and meg are in bed together.

almost EVERY SINGLE RESPONSE said shay!!!!!!

most common answers were: things involving daniel and marlon, a few people said tyler being misogynistic & when shay kissed nic! a few people mentioned the poor acting in this section as well.

this one was much more split than the one for austin! kjhggh the most popular were lucas (24.2%) and eliott (22.2%)! followed by Daphné (14.7%), Alexia (12.7%), Imane (9.1%), Emma (6.7%), Manon (5.2%), and Yann (3.2%)

Best clip?

I’m pretty sure every response for this was in season 3! Popular answers were the piano scene, the first kiss scene, the morning after scene, the one where alexia talks about bisexuality, and the one where lucas and manon cry together.

Best change from the original?

most common answer was definitely alexia being bi!!! a lot of people also mentioned yann being better than original jonas & being black, as well as lucas being closer with the girl squad!

Most iconic moment?

a lot of different answers so i just screenshotted some!
