#Barty Evan and Regulus are roomates

Barty coming back to his and Evan's apartment with a suspiciously shaped bag and tossing it at Evan, who gives him a look and then scurrys off to do his thing.

months later a new rare kind of Owl joins the rest. another pair of unblinking glass eyes added to the rest of the dead things Evan had graced with the illusion of life.

"is it because im convenient?" 

"what?" barty rolled over to face evan. they never really talked after, just shared a fag and act like it didnt happen. 

"why me? am i just convenient?"

barty paused. he could the hurt on evans face. it was small, but barty always noticed small things about evan.

"is it because we're roomates? because its easy? am i a quick replacement for regulus?" tears started to pool in evans eyes.

no, barty wanted to scream, i love you, i love you so much, youre the only one, why cant you see that? the words threatened to spill out of his mouth. 

he wanted to pull evan in, to tell him, to comfort him, to love him. but he didnt. he could see it in his mind. evan would pull away, would close off, would be chased away from barty, like everyone else was.

barty would lose evan. losing evan would kill barty.

after all, no one really wanted his love. regulus proved that, when he ran off with james potter, perfect compared to bartys pain. his love only hurt, only destroyed. evan would never want his love.

so he clenched his eyes shut, tried to will the hurt away. by the time he opened them, evan had fled with a choked sob.

Can you imagine Barty and Evan drinking polyjuice potion before having sex and then switching bodies…?

Oh. Yes. I love this so much tbh. Polyjuice play is actually one of my favs. Another thing that Jess and I do in our fic Into the Abyss.

Barty and Evan would be so freaky about it. I'm so convinced that they would find every single one of their friends irresistible, and would not only switch bodies to fuck themselves, but they would also steal their friends' hair to fuck their friends too. Like Sirius/Remus, Regulus/James, Dorcas/Marlene. It's obviously an intrusion of privacy but they wouldn't care. they would also be super secretive about it. But that would only last so long until they were caught, huh?

Like imagine this. Imagine Barty and Evan secretly stealing James and Regulus' hair and then they get extra frisky one night when they think James and Regulus aren't around. Well, of course they are wrong. of course, James and Regulus are indeed coming home that night (Regulus x Barty roomates).

When they walk in they see themselves on the living room couch fucking, and despite their presence, Evan and Barty don't stop. Regulus would stand then with the most frustrated scowl and James would simply blush - realizing how hot they are together.

On the flipside, Barty and Evan would definitely switch bodies too, and fuck each other, just to remind themselves how hot they find each other.

What if Barty was italian from his mother side?

I mean, we know nothing about her (or at least I found nothing on internet) so it could be. It would make sense, seeing that "Crouch" it's not exactly an italian surname.

And so, Barty (Jr.) is fucking proud of his italian blood. Because his father has nothing to do with that and it represents the best part of his childhood. His mother, her italian lullabies, her italian fairytales (Pinocchio, for example), his italian granparents (that they visited during summer, without his father 'cause he used to work also during august), the food his mother used to cook him when he was ill, the candies for the Befana and so on.

And so he was ecstatic when Måneskin won the Eurovision and Italy won the european championship. And so his favourite game is football/soccer (calcio) and if someone tries to put pinapple on pizza in front of him gets punched in a second. And so he gesticulates as much as he can. And so each year he forces his roomates (Regulus and Evan) to watch Sanremo festival with him until two am.

Marauders era headcanons (Mainly Pandora and other Ravenclaws)

Many people headcanon Pandora to be a seer. I like that headcanon, but i think there's a lot of interesting potential with her being a legilimens instead.

As Pandora is a Lestrange (I've also considered Rosier and Malfoy but stuck with Lestrange because of what is already thought of her), Regulus is allowed to invite her to all formal house of Black events. She hates everyone there, but she manages to make small talk. Being a legilimens, she just always knows what they want to hear.

Walburga and Orion LOVE being told exactly what they want to hear, so they adore her at first.

She actually fit in with the sacred 28 for quite a while, and her friendship with Regulus wasn't secret at that time. She openly hanged out with him and Barty until age 15.

Honestly, most people didn't like her or trust her back then. Not even Xeno. Only Reggie knew that she didn't actually agree with blood supremacists. She was popular and she was intimidating, as she never talked with anyone outside of her circle. (One time, in her fourth year, she had a very pleasant talk with Lily Evans, who never judged people by their families or their cold tones.)

That's until she ran away and got disowned officially. Regulus was forbidden from hanging out with her then.

It took him a few months to get over his anger. He had no support against his parents anymore. She had abandoned him jn the way Sirius had the year before.

During their falling out, Pandora worked on salvaging her reputation and she became much more respected and well-liked.

She gave all of her expensive clothes away to a half-breed charity and discovered she really enjoed dressing up in a hippie-inspired style.

At some point, she got Sybill Trelawney, her very bitter and lonely roomate, to trust her.

The two of them became extremely close friends and Sybill offered her to live with her during summer.

They were also roomates with Emmeline Vance, who liked them well enough, but had her own separate friendgroup with Hestia Jones and Amelia Bones.

Befriending the weird ravenclaw girl who was convinced she was a seer was what made Xenophilius warm up to her. “She had many opportunities to be friends with many popular and respected students and she actively chose to be an outcast.” He thought. “She's insane, love that for her.” Before this, he thought she was snobbish and didn't like her even after she rejected her family.

A couple of years back, Xenophilius had come up with the idea of the Quibbler. A very early concept of what nonesense it was going to be.

“I need experience” he declared to himself at age 15. He decided to interview Sybill about her grandmother and her 'second sight', and, combined with a bunch of fake stories he came up with, he created a protoype of the Quibbler, which he definitely named something else, and gave out a bunch on copies to other students and professors.

Pandora loved it, she thought it was charming and fun. That was the first genuinely sweet and warm interaction between them, which marks the start of a crush forming.

You know who else loved it? Sirius. He thought it was hilarious. He wouldn't shut up about it. Moony had never felt more annoyed in his life.

After that, a lot of people started talking about Sybill. Pandora convinced her to seize the opportunity and Sybill opened her own silly little business. She wanted to make a name of herself as a seer, outside of being related to Cassandra Trelawney. So she decided to try giving out prophecies.

The first person to ask her for one was nome other than Gilderoy Lockhart. He was thrilled with the prophecy he was given about how he'd be a famous hero in the future.

Basically, Pandora would use legilimency, tell Sybill what everyone wanted in their future, and Sybill would tell them exactly that. EVERYONE was thrilled.

“That's my dream,, with full accuracy! She couldn't have known it's my dream, I've never told her! So that means I will actually achieve it!”

Regulus had known Pandora must be behind all of that ever since he first heard about it but he hadn't said anything.

He confronted her about it and advised her to stop before her reputation is destroyed again, because this time, she won't have him and the trust of the blood-supremacists.

“Do you think I give a damn about my reputation?” She trusts Sybill not to leave her alone.

He tells her that if everyone finds out her friend is a fraud, everyone will target her and they should just end this while people trust

“If you even care about your friends at all.”

Pandora left angrily from that interaction, offened that he viewed her like that. She didn't even bother checking out what he was thinking. She assumed he was just angry and hateful.

But he was so bitter and so sad. And so hurt.

Meanwhile Snape, who had a faint gift of legilimency, figured it out and started talking shit about it in the Slytherin common room.

Now most people *don't* believe Snape, because Snape isn't particularly respected even amongst his peers.

But some Slytherins, let's say Mulciber and Avery, realized it did make a lot of sense, and they started bullying Sybill and Pandora.

Barty came to Sybill's defence as everyone wanted a good reputatio, but badmouthed Pandora for invading people's privacy and giving them false hope.

Xenophilius came to both of their defences, saying that the 'fraud' is merely a rumour by blood-supremacists that wanted revenge on Pandora. In all honesty, he was in no position to judge anyone for being a fraud.

And Lockhart said it was a rumour as well. It was simply too accurate to be a fraud.

A surprising supporter of them was Mary McDonald, who said that even if they *were* lying, nobody can judge them while they themselves are jerks and the girls were only giving people motivation snd hope.

Regulus also defended them, saying that the baseless accusations based on gossip should stop.

People believed him, knowing that him and Pandora were in bad terms and he had more reason to badmouth her than anyone, yet chose to defend her.

After that, Pandora met him in secret and apologized for everything. Promised him that her and Sybill would stop what they were doing and let it fade away and be forgotten. Then, she looked into his mind and found out how much worse his parents have been to him after she ran away. Because now, not only do they put additional pressure on him (because of Sirius being gone) but also don't trust him in the slightest and give him no freedom of choice in anything. (because of his friendship with Pandora)

The two reconciled and became friends again, this time in secret. They would meet in the room of requirement after class, which Regulus had discovered a year before, and talk about all sorts of things.

“The things we love always have a way of coming back to us, if not always in the way we expect.”

Speaking of love, it's in the air.

That year, Peter and Mary had dated for, like, a month.

She was the longest relationship he had been in, so naturally, he broke up with her. Most girls usually broke up with him first so he'd never gotten this far. He was really nervous, but she wasn't too hurt afterwards. She'd never been in a serious relationship and she didn't view this one as such. The breakup happened in the library. It mostly went like.

“Oh. Sad. Are you sure? Alright, hope I didn't do anything that upset you? No? That's nice ,then. Whatever makes you happy, Pete. See you later. :)” *goes back to studying.*

“His future was never meant to be linked with yours...!” A voice creeped behind her after Peter left. It was Sybill Trelawney.

“Uhm, cool, I did figure that out, though. And it's not like I wanted that from him anyways. We're still friends.”

Sybill just. Nodded, blushed, slowly walked away.

SOMEONE'S got a crush.

And Mary is weirdly intrigued.

Soon enough she develops a crush too.

“Marlene how to ask girl on date”

“Just because I'm with Dorcas doesn't mean I know how I did it.”

Lily is currently having her own issues™ so she does not have the capacity to help.

It's generally a mess.
