In case anyone was wondering how bar studying is going, I just had a full on panic attack because I thought I lost my hearing aid while doing laundry last night only to find (after searching for an hour) that it was in my bed where I apparently took it out while studying until 4am.

08 August 18 I haven't been posting much. I am drowning in readings at the moment. But I am happy to say that I'm on schedule. My goal is to read all my Bar materials at least twice, and I'm already on the last subject of my first run. Fighting! 💪🏻

Bar Prep

Yesterday, Barbri sent me my bar prep enrollment email.

Barbri Early Start for the UBE is now open. I think it’s just a multiple choice thing to ascertain my weaknesses, but it still makes me nervous.

I’m still reading “Clearing the Last Hurdle: Mapping Success on the Bar Exam” by Wanda W. Temm.

How am I behind, you ask? I’m trying to get through the Barbri 1L and 2L videos. I need to do them.

My new goal is to get all of the videos completed by the time the books come in via the mail.

Am I the only one who feels like I’m already struggling even though this is supposed to be the easier part of the summer?

I feel like I can barely get through all of the themis materials I am supposed to do every day, let alone make extra flashcards and outlines, even though I KNOW they would be helpful.  I am debating cutting my daily workouts but they are the only thing keeping me relatively sane right now.  Meanwhile other people studying are claiming they are running out of practice questions and need MORE materials!?!

Any advice???

I’m in my 1920s Florida resort room turned law school dorm and all I can see out the window are palm trees as I drinking my coffee out of my yellow I love Pittsburgh mug (because I really do love Pittsburgh) and even though bar prep is turning my brain into a raisin, moments like these make me realize I love my life 😩
