I'm not sure if you mentioned barris' age anywhere or his face cus I honestly forgot but could you tell us his age and what he looks like cus I keep imagining him as varys from game of thrones and sassy😭😭

Okay, so this is how I imagine Baris:

Now, he may be surrounded by women (harem concubines) but he has no interest in them (because he's forbidden from sleeping with them and also cause he's a narcissist). He runs the harem, he controls these women and he trains them well for the sultan and his sons. And these concubines know that if they ever wanna get a shot with the royals, they need to please Baris.

He is always well dressed, composed and calculating. He likes to stir up shit for fun. Now he may be eunuch (which means he's castrated) but it doesn't mean he doesn't... get some. He's actually very picky about who he sleeps with or not.

I think age wise, he's somewhere between 28-35.

the fact that i'm seeing so many baron/reader fics and even fucking baron/EDDIE MUNSON but everyone is sleeping on the obvious and true pairing Otis/Baron.

They were equally obsessed with each other!!!! Baron collected clippings of Otis and his investigation! He orchestrated himself into that prison cell with him or how else would he have been able to pull of the scheme to get his former foster father arrested and fuck over his pharmaceutical company!!! And Otis is obviously obsessed with Marmalade unaware that she's sitting in the cell with him. He thinks that Baron is just a poor rube pulled in and tricked by a pretty face but he's got it wrong! Otis is the rube tricked by a pretty boy with a soft spoken demeanor and affectation of stupidity.

Anyway I need a 400k cat and mouse fic of the two of them and I need Otis to see him in one of tarty little disguises.

What is in Bloom?

When brewing coffee, especially for a pour-over, we bloom the coffee bed. Yes we can bloom a shot of espresso by doing a pre-infusion, but that will or was a different post.

Why is the bloom important? When you pour water onto the ground coffee it releases the CO2 and allows the water to be absorb into the grounds. It also aids in releasing other compounds that give your coffee it's flavor notes.

Blooming your coffee is a way to see how fresh it is and how well it is stored. The freshness can be seen when you pour water over the bed of grounds and how it foams and bubbles. I had beans that were stored in small pouches for three months, the beans retained their fragrance and flavors. Beans that were not as fresh and not stored well, tend to not be foamy nor actively bubbly.

Reminder:How should coffee be stored? In a cool dark place. I can be put into an air tight container. It should be stored away from heat sources: not above your refridgerator, not close to your stove, not in direct sun light in a glass jar on the countertop are just some of the examples. A great way to combat lack of fresh beans is to finish what you have and get a something fresh and new.

When I Bloom: Say I have a 20 grams input of coffee with an output of 300 grams (1:15). I will do 20% of the output liquid to bloom my coffee (60 grams or a little more). I also will stir the intended water into the bed to aide in absorbtion. I let it bloom for 30 to 45 seconds, sometimes maybe even a minute, because multitasking.

Blooming coffee does not stop at pour-overs. I have bloomed espresso with a pre-infusion and iced teas by steaming the leaves at the espresso machine. Blooming will make a difference in the coffee and in other applications.

And he came early, which means everything is going to be late! Probably really REALLY late! For those of you who didn't know, my amazing wife Nancy (who voices Molly and Cherri in the animatics) has been pregnant since March. And our little Sprout (who now has an actual name but we keep calling him Sprout out of habit) is now in the NICU. He's very healthy and feisty! He's been kicking and screaming since he got here. It took 3 nurses to hold him down and put him is IV (which he's already ripped off twice along with everything else they keep trying to tape to him). He's just very very tiny but he's trending very well and his mother is too!

TL;DR: The comic will be delayed while I take care of the newest addition to my family!
