5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Jlaire, Krexie, Marynon, Barbmura, and then instead of a 5th romantic ship I'm gonna say the hatred between Morgana and Claire

Character I would be best friends with: Krel would either be my friend or he'd piss me off

An unpopular opinion: Canon was bad before RotT and Wizards paved the way in its retconning and mediocrity.

My Canon OTP: Jlaire

Pairing I am not a fan of: Str*cklake, Z0uxie, and Kr@ry just to go with canon/canon-adjacent ships

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Toby and Steve the most, but really everyone who didn't die prior to Wizards got screwed up by either Wizards or RotT

Jilaire - Ship It

1. What made you ship it?

All credit to canon, selling me on a ship is a proverbial nightmare as I do not understand romance whatsoever. This though? Jim's crush was clear from the start to the point of Toby teasing him about it so there was absolutely no WE JUST MET AND THIS IS CRAZY going on. He had to build up (And fuck up) a friendship with Claire long before any relationship started giving it time to simply exist without a speed run.

2. What are your favorite things about the ship?

Neither is immune to fucking up and they WILL call one another out if they do something stupid. There's genuine worry and care! Plus all the bonding is genuinely adorable. You know if shit hits the fan they will have one another's back no question about it and no matter how weird. A boyfriend is a boyfriend, even if he's blue and eats forks. Or has anxiety attacks! Healthy support what a novelty.

3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

Not particularly? More some write them so incredibly out of character it's like generic straight people which is so weird. While there is weird blips in Claire's canon writing it's nothing that affects the ship it's self for me personally.

Barbmura - Don’t Ship It

1. Why don’t you ship it?

I love Nomura to pieces don't get me wrong but in canon there is no getting around the fact she literally drugged Barbara and unlike Strickler and the bonding fiasco has never been remotely apologetic about it. Like I can understand why she isn't, from her point of view it ensured she couldn't interfere, she was unharmed and Jim survived the encounter so all good! Barbara though would need a long ass time to allow her to be in the same space let alone without anybody there in casual circumstances.

This is exact reason she did not want her in the house in Ghost!AU. A war meeting would be one thing but coming downstairs and seeing her on the sofa that first night? Absolutely fucking not. 2. What would have made you like it?

You'd have to break both their characters completely to make it work. This said in AU settings where this isn't a problem I'm fine with it.

3. Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?

I do LOVE banter between them particularly of the dragging variety! Chatting about Jim's Darklands jaunts just to mess with him. There's also art in one painting and one having an appreciation for it as well and I've no doubt Nomura is one of those changelings that can respect a medic no matter the species. You work hard for the knowledge to ensure someone can fight another day, what's not to like?

20. I really like Barbmura surprisingly. I never thought about it as a ship until people started making content for it, but it’s actually really sweet. I also got into the stricklakerot ot3 that @niuniente has done a lot of adorable comics for and now it’s one of my favorite ot3s. 

35. I’ve written a few drabbles. Most of them are way back from a year and a half ago or so though. I should probably do a drabble request again because I really enjoyed writing little short stories. :D

So if any of you have some cute fanfic ideas you think I should write send them over and I might write a couple paragraphs of it. :D

(loosely based on one of @im-the-king-of-the-ocean‘s Barbmura ficlets - I don’t think our troll Barb’s are quite the same, but her immediately getting her horns stuck in a tree was inspiring)
