My Barbie itzy thoughts!

Idk why I feel I kind of digressed and ended up with something diff, sorry. By Barbie I’m kind of just looking at the sort of “glam” style, not really the show as I know nothing about it.

Cool, jock, Ken!Ryujin is predictable and would probably be what people are thinking, but that’s a little overused, let’s try again. (Note: I’ve never watched Barbie, I was into dinosaurs as a little girl)

I’m thinking..

Nerdy ryujin, I feel will be adorable. I would imagine she’s a character that grew up around popular brothers, and it explains her masculine mannerisms sometimes, but once she’s dolled up, she’s not used to it, looks so sharp and and her features are accentuated-she’s getting flirted with left, right and center and she freaks out a little. It’s something she doesn’t do often (doll up) only when she needs a confidence boost or when she wants to look good for someone. Otherwise she also looks great in casual wear, we all know she’s a natural beauty. When all dolled up I’d imagine she feels like she earns the right to have her way with her s/o, puckering her lips and just stands on the roadside like a kid, expecting to be properly kissed, babied, her bags carried. Side note, I’d really like to see people write about ryujin after detaching her from always being cool and “dominant”, not that people don’t, but those works are rare, about her when she’s lovingly mean, secretly a softie and actually so pretty.

Yeji

I think yeji would like to dress simple but sleek, something I observe in her casual wear. So as a Barbie character I don’t know why but maybe I’ll see her as a character that chooses comfort, but could totally pull off looks when she wants to, like ryujin. Her latest hair color too? Don’t know why but I would love to see her try to act sly/ bratty given how composed and behaved she acts. Pressing her face into your neck playfully, thinking she’s sleek, eyes locked onto yours with deep desire. You try to look away but she knows your attention is on her, and she licks her lips and let’s her teeth sink down on them, giggling before pulling off something she knows will get her into trouble. Well, not really trouble if she enjoys it. She slides your hand onto her thigh, even though you made it known you were busy. When she nears climax, you stop engaging with her sopping slit and you give it, soft slaps, watching her face contort in pleasure at the contact, yet tears threaten to spill at the loss of contact.

Chaeryeong

Such a pretty, shy girl but when in her element, watch out. Would love to see her in garter belts, pale, toned legs with slight impressions by the elastic bands. Her body is so.. proportionate. Let’s see, shibari with Barbie chaeryeong has been occupying my mind? She’s so flexible too? When I saw her on youngji’s drinking show, she seemed to know what she wants. She’s capable and more intelligent than most people give her credit for. In the same fashion, she knows how she wants to be tied up, she knows you’ll do a good job. She’ll also do a good job trying to hide the fact that she’s all tied up under the layer of clothes she’s wearing to dance practice, every time she needs to bend over for a dance move, the rope is forced up against her clit, and she tries to keep noises to herself, while you watch her trying to hold it in through the mirrored practice room wall.

Lia

Lia is the girl that low key knows everyone, and guys fall for her, making other girls hate her, they just hate her because they ain’t her. Knows how to work her way through small talk, knows how to carry herself. Trust fund baby, yet humble? The girl that doesn’t go to parties but rents the largest hotel in the city for her 18th, you know what I mean. She’s blonde now too, how fitting. Lia fr is so gf coded in all the selfies she takes. She knows them angles, so prepare yourself for pictures (and videos, if you know what I’m getting at) from all the prettiest angles in your messages, by our pretty main vocal.

Yuna

You cannot tell me she isn’t the most Barbie coded member out of all of itzy, I just won’t listen. Her giggles that she got called for a pick me girl over, it drives me feral, and feeds into the Barbie agenda. Duality here. I’m seeing Loco MV Yuna, walks her scary ass dogs everyday but it looks more of like her dogs are taking her on a walk. Yuna is so soft, adorable and sweet too, legit bias wrecked me when I went to their concert irl SHE IS SO GORG IRL? Would rule those when it’s 144p but you’re xxx TikToks. Rocks every shade of pink, how much more barbie(r) can she get? I miss smiley yuna. She’s older than me but I’ll always see her as itzy’s maknae

Yuna: would be the least surprised. Her eyes would definitely widen at first, but she'd quickly smile it off, wrapping her hand around you.

Finally i'm done with these !!! Idk what took me so long, i was dreading to moment i had to write them, but they were so easy ?? Anyways i'll concentrate on blue lock now~

You guys had planned this night since over a week. Everyone wanted to gather up for a good old movie night. The 6 of you each got to pick a movie, hoping that you’d manage to stay awake for them all. That’s why you got prepared: had a good night's sleep the day before, lots of sugary drinks and sour gummies. But you knew that pulling an all-nighter was going to be hard. So obviously the first movie would be the one you'd all pay attention to the most, and the sixth one… Might be the one you'd all sleep through. That's how Yeji got the best idea ever, as a leader does, even off-duty. You would play rock paper scissors, the winner playing their movie first, and the loser last. Lia whined: “I never have luck when it comes to these!”

“Actually that’s a great idea, unnie”, competitive Chaeryeong answered. My film is so good, I'd be sad if you guys missed it. “I chose LaLaLand, it’s a romantic classic, so you guys must know it if you want to know me”. Everyone gathered up in a circle, pausing the activities they had started. “Okay let’s do this, Yeji called. The odd one out is the winner. One, Two, Three !”

Everyone stuck their hand out, choosing one of the three signs. And the first winner was… Chaeryeong. RyuJin side-eyed her: “Tch, it should’ve been me. Flipped is a complicated movie, so we should all be concentrated. I guess it’s okay if it’s the second one in line”. “It’s okay unnie, you’ll get it”, Chaer sarcastically answered, matching with her competitive aura too. “Next round then !” Yeji brought order again. “1, 2, 3 !”

Ryujin won. She said she would after all. As she celebrated in her dongsaeng’s arms, the rest of you laughed, while Lia continued whinging, knowing where this would lead to. One, two, three !

But this time, both Yuna and Lia had the rock, while you and Yeji had paper and scissors. “Well I guess here goes a mini-rematch !” Yuna happily said. “I can't believe this'', perplexedly replied Lia. “1, 2, 3 !” Ryujin set the tempo for them. Lia shouted. “OMO, this is HAPPENING !” She won. Barbie the princess and the pauper would then play third. Yuna sighed and you guys continued on the game. Yeji would play her film, twilight, the fourth, then Yuna second to last with miracle in cell no. 7, and you would close the night.

“You know what you guys think, it’s okay actually, if we don't pay that much attention to me. I was planning on playing "How to train A Dragon.” As you said that, you slowly turned to Yeji, and everyone burst out laughing. She had a pouty look on thought.

Everyone went back to their activities, a smile on their lips because the game was fun. Chaeryeong prepared the covers and pillows, while Ryujin was on tech duty, connecting the computer to the projector and opening illegal streaming sites for each movie. 6 pretty tabs, waiting for you, announcing the color of the night that was about to come - white, or black, it’s the same anyways. Yeji and Lia were preparing the snacks in the kitchen, opening up chips and putting them into bowls, and glazing strawberries with chocolate. In the meanwhile, you went upstairs to the room, to take everyone’s plushies and bring them back to the living room, now transformed into a home-cinema. Since everyone was handling everything, Yuna was kind of… jobless. So the only thing she thought of doing was turning the LEDs on, for a deepened ambiance. She took out her phone and connected it via bluetooth to the lights. She was just sitting on the couch, trying out different modes. 

You barged into the room, throwing the 6 plushies on the blanket-lined floor. Now you were the jobless one, your easy task already being completed. You saw that Yuna wasn't doing anything important either, and decided to go with her while waiting for the girls. As you walked over the soft floor, you made your way to the couch. Chaeryeong was finished setting the cushions, and decided to turn off the lights, to see what it would look like. Since the LEDs were on, you still saw everything. And out of all the empty spots in the living room, you decided to sit on Yuna’s lap. Chaer and Ryu didn't even pay attention to it, since it was so likely for you to do something like that. On the other hand though, Yuna got flustered. She let out a small “ooh”, but as you placed your hands behind her neck, hugging her, she softened. 

Her face was overtaken by a smile, and she crossed an arm on your waist, the other being busy using her phone. She rested her chin on your shoulder and chuckled, hoping you’d spend the night like this.

my opinion about itzys new album (disclaimer my ult gg group is itzy)

born to be

i love this song and the mv for it. the girls voices and lines are fun to sing along to and definitely something that i think “noise” music enjoyers would like! i was definitely sad when itzy started getting hate for “copying” aespa when both groups are friends.

untouchable

I LOVE THIS!! the music video was super fun to watch and seeing the girls have such a excellent album drop with no skips is amazing (i think they have no skips in general) once again disappointed seeing people complain about the mv because it was more focused on the choreography than the scenery shots.

mr. vampire

i’m not going to lie it wasn’t what i was expecting when i first heard the song. i think i was expecting something similar to born to be and untouchable instrumental wise, but saying that it grew on me and i love it and the choreography looks so fun!

dynamite

i think if you’ve read this far you can see i’m extremely biased and hope you weren’t expecting an actual in-depth talk about the album with that being said i really like this song. it was definitely a switch up vibe wise since mr. vampire is before it and this instrumental fits more with the two first songs.

crown on my head (yeji)

the solos were the main thing i was looking forward to for this comeback if i’m being completely honest. i loved the music video for yejis solo and really liked how she used the “hey” from dalla dalla. also it was nice to just hear how her music would be if she was a soloist or just hear how the music she wrote sounds like!

blossom (lia)

i love lia and i wish her a speedy recovery! i hope when she’s better we get a music for her (if that’s something she wishes to do). i love how unique all their voices are and can definitely see lia making music that has a similar vibe to laufey and rocco. i really like how soft lia sounds when she sings if that makes sense.

also side note i really want itzy to do what twice is doing so far in the since that they get their own solo album i think it would be super fun to hear and would be something new for the girls

run away (ryujin)

run away mv was interesting i loved the scenes used for the songs and feels like it adds to the song instead of just giving pretty shots that kinda have nothing to do with the song (if that makes sense). i really like all the girls solos and want more.

bringing it back to wanting them to drop solo albums while still doing group activities since i know the girls prefer to focus more on their groups than solos

mine (chaeryeong)

time to be super bias because chaeryeong is my bias. i really like hearing her voice and was super excited to listen to her solo. the music video was super fun to watch and i was paying attention to every scene. i really want an english translation of all the solos so i can better understand and connect to their solos more.

also do we think they have dance moves to their solos if they were to be preformed?? because i think it would be fun to see how the dance style would be for each solo. we got to see the dance style of yeji, ryujin and chaeryeong since they were artists of the month but i’m really curios how yuna and lia would be.

my first thought was “woah pink” it was the first thing that stuck out for the mv, but i think it fits yuna. also the song?? it’s going to be in my head and i just know i’ll start humming random parts of the song. yet, but is super fun to listen to and i don’t think i’ll trust someone who hates on it without listening to it first (it’s valid if they listen to it and it wasn’t their vibe but also being respectful about it).

this song could’ve definitely been in barbie don’t try to convince me otherwise.

escalator

itzy will always keep me on my toes when it comes to vibe changes in this album. escalator is super catchy, but i can also understand why it might not be people’s favorite compared the other songs. it reminds me of an older itzy song but i’m not sure which one. either way i do like this song even if i wasn’t expecting how it was going to sound.

i do think it makes a perfect cycle if you have the album on repeat. i like how it ends on a slower and fade out sound and then quickly jumps to the speed and sound of born to be.
