part 1: thigh

From the moment he first met you, Diavolo knew you would be his undoing. 

This exchange program was so important to him, to what he knew the Devildom could be, too important to jeopardize for any reason - especially not something as frivolous and fleeting as infatuation. 

And yet here he was, hot under the collar because your clothed thigh was hovering dangerously close to his clothed thigh on your shared bus seat. 

The cacophony of chaos from the other riders couldn't distract him from just how close to him you were sitting. He was hyperfocused on every bump and jostle that caused you to get ever closer to him. 

How did he get to this precarious situation? 

One might say it was his own damn fault. 

Another one of “the prince's whims”, you had shown him (and the rest of the student council) a movie from the human world that featured a school bus transporting students on a field trip so obviously, Diavolo had to experience it for himself. This trip was just for the student council to test how feasible it would be to take all the students at RAD on a field trip. 

There was an argument getting on the bus about who would get to sit next to you and for how long. Lucifer settled the argument when horns and wings and tails came out, determining if they couldn't decide peacefully amongst themselves, no one would get to sit with you. 

So Diavolo watched you at the back of the bus, surrounded on all sides by the Avatars of Sin, without anyone actually sharing the bench with you. Lucifer sat on the bench behind Diavolo, barely contained annoyance masked behind a polite smile. Even Barbados, his most trusted advisor and confidant, sat on the bench across the aisle from the prince, ever-present unreadable smile on his lips. Diavolo clenched his fist in the empty space next to him. 

Facing forward throughout the bus ride, but still hearing the commotion surrounding you, Diavolo imagined what it would be like for him to be just another voice in the crowd. Through the din, he could also hear Lucifer droning about what they would do once they got to their destination, though he wasn't listening very closely. Leave it to the Avatar of Pride to have a plan for everything. 

After a while of this, something compelled him to turn around; a feeling he couldn't quite place. When he looked back over his shoulder, he saw you laughing, hard. Your eyes met his across the many seats between you and you smiled at him so genuinely. His eyes widened, almost imperceptibly, and he felt his heart rate spike. He smiled warmly at you in return then turned back around in his seat. How could something so small make him so giddy, so easily? It was almost laughable. 

At their destination, Diavolo could hardly focus on anything Lucifer was saying as they went around on their tour. It was decided that the logistics of a field trip for the entire student body just weren't adding up (which even Diavolo expected). Still, the trip was a success in his eyes. 

Especially when you approached him on the empty bus and asked if you could sit on the same bench as him for the entire ride back. Of course, you didn't realize how big of a deal what you asked really was. How could you? You didn't know the intricacies and etiquette when it came to interacting with demonic royalty. Still, he was so shocked by your boldness. He couldn't remember if he even said anything, but you smiled that same inviting smile and took the seat next to him - so he must've said yes. 

Now here he was, concentrating so hard on not freaking out every time a bump in the road knocks his and your knees together. Sitting there, so close, he wondered if you would notice if he just… 

"What do you think, Diavolo?" You leaned in closer to him, your thigh now fully touching his, your words just loud enough for only him to hear. His eyes snapped to attention, searching yours. The conversation continued around him but his attention was solely on you. That smile, just as warm as ever, kind eyes inviting him to fall right in and never come out again. 

He blinked and shook his head, laughing to himself. “I must admit, MC. I have no idea about what you all have been discussing this entire time.” Your smile widened and Diavolo had to look away - out of embarrassment or because your smile was just that radiant, he wasn't even sure. 

You didn’t ask why he wasn’t paying attention. Could you see right through him? You explained the discourse and how you felt about it before you started to talk about something else entirely and no one else was on the bus but the two of you. Your thigh was pressed up against his the whole rest of the way back and the vice grip he had on his opposite knee made his hand sore the following day.

Vacationing w/ 4 Town

So, I'm tired of the cold and consumed by wanderlust rn, so I let my imagination go wild.

Robaire;

He’s big on vacations and avidly activates for the two of you to have some time away from everyday stressors. To help with this, there are two places that he’ll likely take you- unless you have your own preference or idea.

The first is obviously Paris. Need I say any more? Not really, but I will anyway. Paris naturally lends itself to romance- always has, always will. Plus, your boyfriend is practically a fully-trained tour guide, and plans the most romantic outings for the two of you. Whether it’s having a professional photoshoot at the top of the Eiffel Tower or a moonlit boat ride along the Seine, Robaire makes your Parisian vacation truly magical. Yes, his plans are extravagant and lavish, but if you want something low key, he’ll happily set up a picnic in a secluded spot on the city’s outskirts, full of French delicacies.

Now, if you’re both in need of a bit of sun, he’ll definitely take you to Barbados. He used to go on vacation here with his family when growing up, and is on first-name terms with all of the staff in one particular beach resort. He’s been going there all his life, and wants you to experience the same joy there that he has.

He doesn’t mind what activities you do, but will add his signature stamp of romance onto anything you want to do.

Jesse;

Jesse is a pretty chill guy, and he also loves the heat. So, unless you strongly object, he’s gonna take you off to an island somewhere. His personal choice? Any of the Greek islands. Probably Spetses or Ikaria. He’s fascinated by all the old ceramics and ruins that can be explored, and he definitely takes loads of pictures for artistic inspiration. You can expect cheesy compliments that liken you to the statues of Gods/Goddesses scattered around. He’ll likely do a bunch of research before your trip so that you can check out the best ancient sites and travel back in time together.

If the history stuff isn’t your scene? No worries! Jesse will have splashed out on an intimately luxurious hotel. He’ll try and find a place with a pool and private beach, so you can laze around in the sun as much as you want. He wants you to recharge on the trip, and the slower pace of Greek life is the perfect way to do that.

He probably won’t bring his kids for the first couple of vacations, but if they accompany you on one of your trips, there’ll be enough to keep them happy while you chill out.

Aaron T;

I head canon T as being a Brazilian/Sicilian mix, so those are his two preferred spots for your vacation!

Whichever one you opt for really depends on you and your preferences. If you’re an adventurous, curious sort of person, he’ll probably recommend Brazil. Expect a personal tour of the city, lots of street food, and a trip home to his mother’s family. They’ll definitely smother you with love and affection- you’ll probably need another vacation  after being worn out spending a day with them (in the best possible way). Unless you strongly object, he  probably won’t book a hotel and will instead choose to pitch up with his relatives.

If cities aren’t really your thing, though, you’ll definitely be going somewhere quieter in Sicily. This is where his Dad’s side of the family are from, but T probably will go down the hotel/resort route for this choice. He’s a beach lover, so finding a nice spot with a private beach will be on his agenda. Again, he’ll be introducing you to all sorts of local delicacies and having fun, adventurous days in the sand. 

In either location, T really doesn’t mind what you choose to do. He’s happy so long as he’s at your side, relaxing and sharing his cultures with you.

Aaron Z;

Z is kind of a workaholic, so you’ll probably have to introduce the idea of a vacation. He’s definitely up for it, though, because he treasures time with you.

Now, he’s not so into warmer weather. If you flat out just need a beach vacation, he’ll of course be happy to go with you. But his preferred choice? Somewhere with a mild climate and plenty of activities to do.

For that reason, he’ll probably choose somewhere like Austria. There are all kinds of hiking possibilities, and skiing too. If you’re not as athletic as Z, though, and want something a little more chill, he’ll happily stroll round the cute towns with you and maybe suggest a light bike ride to take in the scenery. 

The quiet Austrian culture compliments Z’s personality well, and, like the other guys, he’ll insist that you stay in a nice hotel. To round off each day, whether active or chilled, he’ll plan a private dinner for you both in your suite. On the balcony overlooking the neighbouring town and rolling mountains, he’ll chatter away to you in the peace of your vacation surroundings.

Tae Young;

Tae lives for vacations and definitely has a growing collection of brochures on his bedside table. He wants to see the whole world with you, so narrowing the selection down is tough for him.

Like T, though, Tae wants to introduce you to his family’s culture, so he’ll take you to South Korea! He’ll show you his hometown and, if you’re comfortable with it, introduce you to his extended family. He’ll definitely spoil you, too, taking you around cute boutiques and cafes that he likes. You’ll definitely be returning with a whole new wardrobe and plenty of other gifts, so you better have accommodated for extra baggage allowance!

If you’re already familiar with South Korea, though, Tae will definitely suggests a safari vacation in Africa. You’ll probably venture out to Kenya and get a private guide who keeps you safe. After a day of animal-spotting from the safe confines of the Jeep, you’ll both camp out in a safe spot on the trail and marvel at the clear, star-filled sky.

Cunard releases new Cruises!

Cunard has announced new voyages sailing from October 2026 to April 2027. That's 40 new voyages on Cunard's fleet: including flagship Queen Mary 2, its new Queen Anne, as well as Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth.

Cunard’s ships will call at 101 unique destinations around the world. With more than 40 new voyages, the new itineraries feature 57 countries, including 62 UNESCO World Heritage sites and 22 overnight port calls and 26 late-evening departures.

Queen Mary 2:

The time had come. 

All the hard work of his students and staff finally paid off as the winter festival commenced. After the opening ceremony, Diavolo toured all the booths and activities with Barbados, making sure everything ran smoothly and in perfect order. Along the way, he caught a few glimpses of you enjoying the festivities with the seven brothers, but even that was enough to make his heart swell and burst with affection, pride, and envy. 

Diavolo didn’t get to participate for himself, but that was par for the course. Everything he did was for the Devildom; the Devildom always came first - even before himself. This truth never bothered him before, he always understood the indelible responsibility that he would shoulder one day. Recently, however, something started to change, something shifted. He started to wonder if things had to be like this, and that shift could be traced all the way back to that fateful day when you fell out of the Devildom sky. 

The Winter Ball was held at The Demon Lord's Castle - Diavolo loved hosting events at the castle. All walks of life from across the Devildom got to experience the luxury he lived in every day and he got to fill the mostly empty halls with life, even if it was only for a few short hours. If it were up to him, he’d have the doors open to the public all the time but "tradition dictates", and "do you know what kind of safety risk", blah, blah, blah. It was the same speech from his butler every time so eventually, he stopped bringing it up. 

He stood now, on the landing above all the dancing revelers, dressed in his true demonic form. Seeing everyone enjoying themselves was usually enough to make the smile on Diavolo’s face feel genuine, but there was a deep ache inside of him that was getting impossible to ignore. 

He gripped the banister so tightly his knuckles turned white when you entered the ballroom, looking even more enchanting than normal, surrounded on all sides by the Avatars of Sin. You scanned the crowd, clearly looking for something, and when you couldn’t find whatever it was, the crease between your eyebrows deepened. Something called your attention to the stairs and when your eyes connected with Diavolo’s, he could swear they were filled with relief. Your smile pinned him to the spot he was standing. You waved subtly to him before your attention was dragged away to the antics of the brothers beside you. It looked like they were fighting over who would dance with you first and Mammon stole you away before a consensus was decided. 

“Lovely party, isn’t it?” Diavolo jumped at the cool, smooth voice that suddenly appeared beside him. Not many people could sneak up on the prince, but his butler was one of the few. 

“Yes,” Diavolo said, recovering quickly, “it certainly is. Everyone did such a fantastic job.” His line of sight reverted to the crowd, finding you instinctually. You were dancing with Satan now. A long beat of silence stretched between the two demons, standing high above the rest of the Devildom. 

“I’ve known you,” Barbados said, “for a very long time, My Lord.” 

“Yes, you have.” It wasn’t a question but Diavolo felt compelled to answer. Asmodeus took over next, with his hands very low on your waist, so unselfconscious. Diavolo could feel hairline fractures start to form in the marble banister under his vice grip. 

“You are very careful of the power that you wield. The last time I remember you doing something purely for yourself was when you asked me to be your butler. Your selflessness often makes me wonder if you truly are a demon.” He chuckled to himself as if he told the funniest joke in the world. Below, Mammon tried to steal you away for a second dance but the others caught him immediately. 

“Everyone else,” Barbados continued, “may see something like this - this festival, this ball - and think that it is a reflection of a whimsical prince who doesn’t take anything seriously.” In the commotion, you broke away from the group, coaxing Leviathan off the wall to join you on the dancefloor. You spun the red-faced demon around a few times before he retreated out of the crowd, back to the safety of the sidelines. 

“But I know that everything you do is for the good of your people. You care about them, all of them, more than any demon would expect you to. What I’m trying to get at, my lord,” he continued, turning to look at the prince, making sure he fully understood his meaning, “it’s okay for you to indulge yourself now and then, especially since you so rarely do. You are a demon and a prince. You can want things just for yourself.” 

You were currently squished between the twins, with both you and Belphegor trying to balance on Beelzebub’s feet. Diavolo tore his gaze away from your laughing face and looked Barbados in the eyes. Right now, he wasn’t speaking as a butler - someone who was paid to care for a young prince - but as a true friend and the closest thing to family that Diavolo had. 

Diavolo smiled down at him, and Barbados mirrored the emotion, his usual enigmatic smile replaced by something warm and genuine. “Brilliant, as always, Barbados.” 

He looked back to see you dancing with Lucifer now. You both looked so elegant on the dancefloor, gliding through the crowd effortlessly. He watched you and, before long, your eyes met again like magnets. You smiled at him, a silent question in your eyes. 

Mind made up, Diavolo pushed away from the banister and looked at Barbados again. They nodded at each other once before Diavolo was practically flying down the stairs. Approaching the crowd, he could feel the eyes and whispers of his subjects. A few actually approached the prince, congratulating and complimenting him on the party as he passed. He acknowledged them, sure, but he was more focused on finding you. 

“Hey.” A clear voice rose above the din and it made Diavolo turn on his heel. There you were, leaning against the wall near the outskirts of the crowd, perspiration glistening on your skin and chest heavily rising and falling with your breath. “I needed to take a break from the dancefloor for a minute. Keep me company?” 

He smiled at the easy way you spoke to him, even in front of all these people. “It would be my pleasure, MC.” 

He leaned against the wall next to you, with only a cocktail table between you. Just then, a Little D. flitted by with a serving tray of sparkling demonus and Diavolo plucked two glasses off easily. He handed one flute to you, your fingers brushing his ever so lightly, but the tingling spark shooting up his arm almost made him drop the glass. 

“Thank you,” you nodded, bringing the glass to your lips. Diavolo watched you close your eyes, as the cool, refreshing liquid made its way down the smooth column of your throat. As you finished, Diavolo pried his eyes away from you to flag down another Little D. so he could replenish you. He put it down on the table between you, not risking another shock, and took the opportunity to nurse his own flute. It was all he could do to not take a bite out of you right there. 

“I really needed that,” you said after a deep, satisfied breath, swapping your empty glass for the full one, and taking one last sip from it. “Ballroom dancing can take a lot out of you. You do this every weekend?” 

That made him laugh. “If I had a party like this every weekend,” he said, “the royal coffers would be empty before my next birthday. That wouldn't be very responsible for a future King, now would it?” He looked down into his flute, watching the bubbles pop at the top. You sensed the mood shift, studying his profile as his dark eyebrows furrowed in thought. 

You put your drink down. “Well, this isn't exactly what I was picturing when I suggested a winter formal but,” you paused to admire the scenery, “it's alright.” 

Your joke settled the worry on Diavolo’s face. He looked at you, then looked around at all the people in their fanciest formalwear and intricate winter-themed decorations. 

“I mean,” you continued, “where's the watered-down punch and the terrible DJ?” 

“I may have taken some creative liberties based on the source material,” he said, putting his drink down next to yours. 

“Yeah, I wouldn't exactly call this an accurate human high school experience. But,” you said, finally giving up the bit, genuine awe in your voice, “that's honestly a good thing. This is seriously incredible, Diavolo.” 

“Well, I have to thank you, MC,” he said, holding your gaze even as heat bloomed across his face. “If it were not for your idea, we wouldn't be here now. I hope our guests from all three realms are enjoying themselves.” 

“I know I am.” With intense eye contact maintained, you picked up a glass from the table, holding it out for a toast. Diavolo did the same and clinked it with yours, his eyes never leaving your own. 

After taking a sip, you examined your drink. “Wasn't this fuller a second ago?” 

The sparkling demonus washed over his tongue. His head started swimming from the buzz of the drink taking effect at the same moment he realized you both must've reached for the wrong flute. He jerked it away from his mouth quickly before covering his lips with his hand. 

“Oh,” you gasped, “I'm so sorry, I should've paid attention to which glass I was grabbing.” 

He was all but hearing you, his mind was too fixated on the idea that his lips were touching something yours touched just a moment ago. 

You were nervous, rambling, laughing, “Do you guys call it an indirect kiss here, like we do in the human world? It's kinda silly, I mean it’s not like you’re really kissing, and it really was an accident, I promise…” 

Diavolo’s silence terrified you. He was breathing heavier and his face was completely red. Was he mad at you? Nearly panicking, you searched for an excuse to give him space (and save yourself from embarrassment). “I think I hear Lucifer calling me, so I'm just gonna-” 

You turned to leave but before you could make your escape, a strong hand snatched your wrist, desperate but not too hard. 

“MC, please,” he rasped, his voice taking on a quality you never heard before, “please don't walk away from me.”

In August 2020, I received an order from DAVIS to ship goods from Shenzhen, China, to Barbados. The shipment included electronics, integrated circuits, high-speed industrial motors, and more. With so many different items, I was worried about labeling issues, so I personally drove to the Shenzhen warehouse to supervise the sorting, labeling, and packing process. The next step was choosing the best shipping method.

For shipping to Barbados, Sunny Worldwide Logistics could offer DAVIS several options. For example, there were airlines like Panama Airlines, Chile Airlines, AA Airlines, UA Airlines, or routes through Mexico. These options vary in service and timing, with costs ranging from $8.6 to $11.4 per kilogram. Some services, like AA Airlines, are faster, flying directly from China to Los Angeles or Miami, and then to Barbados. Other options, like QT or UC, take longer as they fly south to Australia or New Zealand, then to Argentina, and finally to Barbados. There’s also the European route, flying from China to Madrid, Spain, and then to Barbados.

I remember handling a shipment for Huawei to South America worth $40 million. We usually shipped via Country A, but due to international issues at the time, there was a risk of the goods being held up, so we had to consider other options. We ended up using a European route. We found a logistics company through WCA (World Cargo Alliance) that had been in the business for over 20 years, just like us. The owner, who was in his 50s, was clearly very experienced. We had multiple video conferences to discuss all the details, and he even gave us a virtual tour of their company. It was a large, well-organized company, and they proposed three different routes from Europe to South America. After several meetings, we ironed out all the details and potential risks. Thanks to the combined efforts of both our companies, the goods arrived in South America without any issues. This was a milestone in Sunny Worldwide Logistics’ history, made possible by our membership in several valuable logistics associations.

Many well-known logistics associations have high annual fees—some over $10,000 per year—and only large logistics companies qualify to join. Becoming a WCA member not only requires paying the fee but also meeting certain criteria, such as being an independent freight forwarding company with a certain scale and experience, and adhering to WCA’s ethical and business standards. Members must also comply with WCA’s rules and actively participate in their activities and meetings. These requirements ensure that WCA members provide high-quality services and adhere to industry standards, promoting the healthy development of the international freight forwarding industry.

My second Cruise experience

My father and I took an 11-day Cruise in April. On Celebrity Cruise Line: It was a different experience for me compared to our previous experience with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line we were on, although it was still enjoyable. On our Barbados tour, I realized that I should have asked more questions to understand better the places we visited. Our visit to St. Johns reinforced my dislike for Christopher Columbus due to the knowledge I gained. Despite this, I highly recommend taking at least one cruise. However, I regret participating in the singles activities as it was a complete disaster.
