"Such a scandalous act !!" The village people shout out, raising their pitchforks and sharp items to bring fire to the mansion. But would the chance of it be successful?

Banroe fills half of the world with chaos just by a single word or a slight affection towards the people, monsters, creatures alike. (I'm not making her too OP)
By the use of her profound skill, Puppetry and Author write, it holds many advantages towards the beings.

HELLO HELLO
Tumblr media
Genta is a stray domestic bestial from an animal shelter. He is missing a right thumb and is in an animal shelter because he got into a fight and got severely injured, losing his right thumb in the fight. Genta bit Cube four times and was forced to wear a muzzle for a good month until Genta was cool enough to not bite Cube. He is a pack member of the Heros pack, the strongest but most aggressive Banro (Genta's fictional species) out of the Heros pack.
Personality: Loyal to Cube and gets jealous easily. Will bite your face off and likes chewing toys (both the actual toy and other non-toys,,,, you know, boots? and other inedible stuff?)

(AFPE/NXP)

Readings for March 3rd
I am not sure exactly which one of the readings the assignment is referring to but I think for the purposes of this response, I would like to share my thoughts on Stealth Infrastructure, Tiny Tuvalu, and Conflict Materials.
A little known fact about me is that I was actually born in Australia. During the time my parents were there, my dad’s job was maintenance for cell towers. Growing up, he would tell me about all the tall buildings he would end up scaling in order to do his job; however, he never told me about the history of how many people found these towers invasive. I was kind of aware of people’s worries about radiation and cancer, but I had no idea that people were almost hunting them like the article explains. When I called my dad asking if he knew about this, he explained that one time while he was working on a tower, a man came up to him with a gun. My dad said that a lot of people felt invaded. The man came as a way to protect himself and his family, but had no real anger towards my dad. It’s insane to me how much times have changed and how little people think about the presence of technology in their lives now. Or perhaps I should really just speak for my generation because I do feel like people in my generation definitely care less about it.
It blows my mind how much Chapnik spent to own the .tv domain. I cannot tell if it was worth it. I mean I tried to search emmy.tv and got redirected to emmy.com. While no one is using .tv, clearly emmy.tv is still being paid for (even if its just for the purpose of redirecting). I am not sure if it is a bit a stretch but Chapnik’s actions feels very colonizer-esque (sorry I know this a fake word but I am not sure the right word). In Tiny Tuvalu, Chapnik was just trying to take all the internet “land” he could; just trying to own and dominate as much as possible. He is almost just trying to colonize space in the world wide web.
Similarly, these ideas of power and control are seen in the Conflict Materials article. These companies are directly funding violence. It feels like they are using their power to still control these areas by funding turmoil which would allow these organizations to stay in control. I mean Banro’s problematic foundation is clear proof that these organizations simply do not care.

Terimakasihhhh

As a way to continue Sails's story, here. Please note that it will have bad grammar and it is mainly focused on Lyco(corrupted Lycan)
(yes it is cropped that's why there's a space in the bottom left and unedited top purple text :') )
Lyco escape the town he used to live in and starts his journey to Blixer's tower. He met dangers when his right eye was the only part of his body that was corrupted. Now, he's a predator in the volcano. He stayed in the volcano with barracuda to rest. When on patrol, he has 4 other corrupted plant servants with him, but he does like alone time, even though his half species(wolf) is a highly social animal. And then.. one day, Lyco goes exploring(this part was taken place when Sails was put back to pieces by Cyan and bought the 4 Banroes to the volcano btw.), he finds a river. He gets close, and observe(let's just say that there's land near the volcano in my AU alr?). He then noticed someone's head pecking out of the water while that said someone flows through the river. With Lyco's corrupted instinct, he goes aggressive and wanting the attack. Haha guess what. Lyco loss his left hand to a rather familiar silly fish man.
Edit: pre-corruption Lycan(pure name) and post-corruption Lycan has much more story than this due to lack of motivation and rush. That's another post for now.
Edit edit: this reference sheet is for Lyco when he still has his left hand. feel free to imagine what he looks like a with a missing stitched left hand lol

This is technically going up on time, (with an hour remaining but still;;;) we did allies, now it’s time for enemies, Bosses specifically. This is the jsab fandom, you all should know the bosses but i’ll still list them out. Your choices are la danse macabre, spider dance, close to me, lycanthropy, barracuda, and all eighty six songs with blixer. (Due to the shear amount of options, you can feel free to send two if you wish, it may take longer but i have way more free time starting tomorrow, however i am caping it at two!)
Once again i have another bias, lycanthropy is appreciated! And as normal, share some info about them if you wish, i absolutely love hearing it!

Do you listen to coke studio (pk or india)? If u do what are ur favorite songs from either?
ive never followed either religiously so im probably blasphemously missing some things lol.
from coke studio pakistan, i really like season 2′s “saari raat” by noori, “mahi ve” + “janay do” by josh, and “aaj latha neeo” by javed bashir. and from season 5 “ishq aap bhe awalla” by meesha shafi + chakwal group and “nindiya ke paar” by uzair jaswal. i think finally season 7 i really liked “phool banro” by humera channa + abbas ali khan and “mujhe baar baar” by abbas ali khan. oooh and of course the next season where ali sethi beautifully rendered “umran langiyaan” …
coke studio india, ive listened to far far less but i really liked the amit trivedi season with kavita seth and kutle khan singing “khari khari” then from season 3 i was obsessed with riding the bus home at night to papon’s “khumaar” for like ever!

A wild Banro (fictional species) from an unknown forest. Used to steal food and shiny trinkets from a market nearby to the point that it's his daily routine. Loves hiding in trees, and sometimes robs houses. Got tamed by Cube for trying to rob Cube's home. Citus sometimes teaches Cyan how to be stealthy and have abit of control over Cyan's dashing. Bitten cube once, and is a pack member of the Heroes pack.
Personality: Sneaky and goofy. Likes stealing trinkets when Cube isn't around and stores the stolen item in his stash somewhere in Cube's house

PCAOB Fines Deloitte Canada $350,000 for Breaking Independence Rules Thrice on Audits of Banro
Tumblr media
Deloitte Canada scored a hat trick of sorts on Oct. 16, but I doubt it was celebrated among the firm’s management.
The firm was censured and fined $350,000 by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board on Tuesday for failing to maintain independence during its 2012, 2013, and 2014 audits of Canadian gold-mining company Banro Corp.
Deloitte Canada settled with the PCAOB without admitting or denying the audit watchdog’s findings.
The PCAOB states that the firm’s independence was impaired because of technical reports that were issued by a South African mine-consulting company, Venmyn Deloitte (Pty) Ltd., which was an affiliate of Deloitte Canada.
Formerly known as Venmyn Rand (Pty) Ltd., Venmyn Deloitte became an associated entity of Deloitte Canada once it was acquired by Deloitte & Touche in South Africa in 2012. Thus, Venmyn Deloitte was considered to be part of Deloitte Canada for purposes of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s auditor independence rules.
In 2012, prior to its acquisition by Deloitte South Africa, Venmyn Rand prepared a technical report for Banro on the company’s Namoya gold mine in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Namoya report contained certain gold mineral resource estimates and a related valuation of the Namoya mine based on a discounted cash flow analysis. Venmyn Rand estimated that the Namoya mine had a fair value of $366 million, according to the PCAOB order.
In connection with the Firm’s subsequent audit of Banro’s 2012 financial statements, and after Deloitte South Africa’s acquisition of Venmyn Rand, Venmyn Deloitte’s managing director confirmed for the Deloitte Canada engagement team that he was the “qualified person” responsible for the 2012 Namoya Report. The engagement team then relied on the report’s valuation as audit evidence supporting management’s representations regarding the carrying value of the Namoya mining assets reported in Banro’s financial statements, as well as Banro’s ability to continue as a going concern. The engagement team also evaluated certain key assumptions underlying the valuation.
In 2013 and 2014, Venmyn Deloitte prepared two additional technical reports for Banro—one for the Lugushwa gold mine in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and a new one for the Namoya gold mine—which contained certain gold mineral resource or reserve estimates that Banro had previously disclosed publicly in press releases.
Each press release stated that Venmyn Deloitte’s managing director had reviewed and approved the release, and that he was the “qualified person” responsible for the mineral resource or reserve estimates that were disclosed. He also was the “qualified person” responsible for both technical reports, including the disclosure of the mineral resource and reserve estimates, according to the order.
As a result, Deloitte Canada’s independence during the 2012, 2013, and 2014 Banro audits was impaired. Deloitte Canada’s independence was impaired during the 2012 audit because the engagement team relied on the valuation in the 2012 Namoya Report, for which Venmyn Deloitte and its managing director took responsibility, as audit evidence supporting Banro management’s representations, and subjected it to audit procedures. By auditing work for which its associated entity, Venmyn Deloitte, took responsibility, Deloitte Canada in effect audited its own work under relevant independence rules.
Deloitte Canada’s independence during the 2012, 2013, and 2014 Banro audits also was impaired because Venmyn Deloitte publicly took responsibility in the technical reports and related press releases for certain of Banro’s gold mineral resource and reserve estimates, thereby creating a mutual interest between Deloitte Canada and Banro in those estimates being correct.
In a statement emailed to Going Concern, Deloitte Canada said:
“Deloitte Canada and US Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) have agreed to settle a matter related to independence violations that occurred in connection with three audits of an issuer client. The matter had no impact on the client’s financial statements or the audit opinions on those financial statements. Deloitte Canada made judgments at the time on the application of the independence rules. The PCAOB has concluded that these judgments were not consistent with the independence rules. Deloitte Canada accepts that conclusion.
“Since the start of PCAOB’s inquiry and as part of our annual inspections with the PCAOB, the firm has taken extensive action to address this matter and independence generally. We take our professional responsibilities to deliver services of the highest quality and in conformity with all applicable professional rules and standards extremely seriously.”
Along with paying the $350,000 fine and sitting in the penalty box and feeling shame, Deloitte Canada has agreed to be censured and review its independence policies and procedures, as well as its independence training, according to the PCAOB order. Deloitte Canada must report to the PCAOB the results of its reviews and any changes made.
