""Where can I find the official version of a BTS video that I've seen around?"": BangtanTV Playlists
Did you ever see a piece of footage over and over but never knew where to find the complete, official, original material?
A lot of official content can be found in the same place on BTS's official YouTube Channel, BangtanTV. BigHit has been publishing material there since the beginning of BTS's career. They even post every BTS album,  song, and music video by the group and each member.
Yes, they have monetized it to earn money from the views (And why shouldn't they?), but in exchange, they offer a world of free audio and video files that I personally have never seen any artist do.
We were and are able to see pre-debut footage, debut footage, and footage as their career grew: the good, the bad, and the cringy.  They spoke directly to us in simple vlogs prior to VLives continuing currently in WeLives (WeVerse). They showed and still show us behind the scenes material from backstage, practices, photoshoots, etc.  They filmed Festa conversations and celebrations, as well as took us on trips and other adventures with them.
Q: Where can I find all of this original content, directly from BigHit and BTS, in order to avoid possible misleading editing and to give them credit for their work?
A: You can find a good amount of it - for both group and solo work - under the “Playlists” tab on BigHit’s Bangtan TV official YouTube channel. Once you click the Playlists tab, you will see over 80 folders, which were created to attempt to organize the thousands of videos.
Tumblr media
EXAMPLES OF PLAYLISTS FOLDERS
BANGTAN BOMB
You’ve heard of Bangtan Bombs, right? Did you know that Bangtan Bombs include clips of BTS backstage moments, hotel time, performances, photo shoots, and video reactions?
Tumblr media
Notice there are 858 Bangtan Bombs on this playlist. To see them all, you need to click “View Full Playlist” instead of just clicking the thumbnail. TIP: Turn on closed caption (CC) for translations for most items.
Tumblr media
Links 1, 2, 3, 4
BTS FESTA
Did you know that all Festa events (anniversary celebrations) are contained in the Festa folder in the Playlists tab? There are 112 videos because the Festa playlist contains all the Festa performances, fan songs, conversations, and specially-released dance practice videos or other previously-unreleased items released as gifts to fans during the Festa time period.
Tumblr media
Links 1, 2, 3
BANGTAN LOG
Did you know that since the start of their career, BTS has been talking directly to fans though cameras? RM (formerly known as Rap Monster), as their leader, led the way in the very first Bangtan Log in 2013 (starting at the bottom of the playlist). Some Lives were later done on other platforms and are not posted here, but most current Lives can now be found on the Weverse official platform. However, a few have been done on other unofficial sites (I’m looking at you, JK.), like TikTok, which may not be kept on official sites. (Note: The members' names were sometimes written in Korean.)
Tumblr media
Links 1, 2, 3, 4
BTS PRACTICE VIDEOS
Did you know that almost all released dance practice videos can be found in this folder under the Playlists tab on BangtanTV?  I say “almost all” because BigHit tried to organize this for your convenience, but there are some items out of place at times. For example, some early dance practices were called [practice records] and were released for fans during Festa celebrations, so they are found in the BTS Festa folder instead.  However, most of the practices are found here, most often labelled [Choreography]. Still, a few can be found in more than one location. Go Figure. *shrug*
NOTE: If you search for a song with its English title, you may not find it because the song has been posted with its Korean spelling.  Still, with a bit of patience, you can find misplaced items.
Tumblr media
Links 1, 2, 3
BTS ON AIR
Did you know BTS used to do radio interviews as a group? They have also performed at many music and talk shows, and have filmed a lot of commercials for products they were hired to promote. Were you aware documentation of those items could be found here?
Tumblr media
Links 1, 2, 3, 4
BTS EPISODE
Did you know that there are videos that show the behind-the-scenes for moments and events where BTS attended or performed?  This folder contains moments from before, during, and/or after TV appearances, photo shoots, activities, and music video shoots, etc.
Tumblr media
Links 1, 2
I again hope this information is helpful to new fans and existing fans alike. Since I didn't get to catch up on all the material I thought I'd get to while BTS was gone, I at least began improving my knowledge of and understanding of the material and platforms available. Unfortunately, during my time as a fan, the location of official information was mentioned but was, and still is, very rarely explained or provided. I feel it took far too long for me, as a fan, to know where and what these items were, so I wanted to share with others what I have discovered from my journey in case anyone else is having the same experience.
My goals are to help to lessen confusion for other fans and to increase the use of original content for BTS. I'm also hoping it diminishes the power of misinformation, which is prevalent in this fandom.
If you're looking for more BTS official content resources, check out my my pinned post and scroll down to the category of "Miscellaneous". I also created lists of as many official links for BTS members, BigHit, and Hybe as I could find at the moment. I will do my best to update them as I go. Please enjoy discovering, or rediscovering, gems in BTS's huge archive of official footage.

March 28th at 12:13AM KST: JM🌟: "I miss you 😊"
March 28th at 03:42AM KST: JK replied: "Me too"
As the whole fandom was debating whether his reply meant "I miss army too", or "I miss you (JM) too", JK goes live 11 minutes later at 03:53AM KST, live titled: "수취타 (SuChwita)" where he says he came to watch Jimin's SuChwita episode and then he watches SMF2 MV, SMF2 dance practice, a LC challenge video, and a compilation of BTS teasing Jimin. He says he watched Jimin's Pixid interview and mentions having already watched the "Jimin's Playlist" video of FACE on BangtanTV when it came on shuffle after the SuChwita episode. He listens to some music by other artists, gets inspired to work, and after 1 hour, 36 minutes and 46 seconds of him basically giving Jimin heart eyes, he leaves us to go work on music.
The fandom is in complete shambles but at least now we know who was JK’s "Me too" comment directed to.
At 10:20AM KST on the same day, Jimin replies to Jungkook's comment with "Let's see each other soon. Your live is cute"
At 7PM on the same day, Jimin went live after he had finished his last music show performance, and JK showed up in his live chat spamming comments like "You know I'm hyung's (your) fan.", Jimin teases him about watching a bunch of his videos on live then tells him to prepare him his ramen recipe (that he had posted a few days prior) when he comes to visit, to which JK eagerly replies "Of course, of course. I'll do it for you". The live ends with JK having left a total of 19 comments, an unprecedented feat for him.
Reading the facts of that day as they are, it's undeniable that JK was missing Jimin like crazy (no pun intended) and he never does this when he's missing the other members, such as Seokjin who was already enlisted at the time, neither did he do the same for Hobi (at least not yet) after he enlisted either, despite him mentioning missing them in passing when the topics are brought up.
Jimin is special to Jungkook, whatever their bond may be, it's special and JK makes sure that everyone knows that. JK is a man of grand gestures for the ones he loves and he makes sure to show that Jimin isn't just another one of the hyungs to him, he's more than that. Whether you think they're dating or not, you can't deny that Jimin gets special treatment from JK in a lot of things (like how he used to only buy birthday gifts for Jimin and no other member, or how he made a whole GCF for him to celebrate his birthday, also something he hasn't done for any other member). And if that live was indicator on how JK acts when he misses Jimin, how he tries getting his attention by doing over-the-top actions, then I think it's pretty safe to assume they meet regularly now since he hasn't pined over Jimin in a minute. If he ever feels like he misses Jimin again, he'll make sure everyone knows it.
Hi anon!
What you are describing here is exactly the sort of thing that makes me believe there is nothing nor has there ever been anything romantic between Jk and Jimin. Because why… why if they’re partners would Jk not go see Jimin if he’s missing him? Jimin was busy sure, but does he not have to sleep? Is Jk not able to go with him, like other members have done? Why was it possible for Yoongi and Hobi to go see Jimin, but not Jk… if he misses him so? I hate to compare like this, because it seems cruel… but Tae has obviously been very busy the last few weeks, and yet.. he went to see Jk at Inkigayo.
What you described in your ask, was close friends missing each other. I will never deny that Jk and Jimin are close and they love each other very much. But they do not love each other the way partners do, because if that was the case Jk would’ve been content to just go see Jimin whenever there was a chance to. I once had a partner who traveled two hours to have lunch with me for an hour. That is what people in love do. Friends however will suddenly go ‘damn, I haven’t seen him in a while… I miss him’ especially when prompted by something (a weverse comment). Friends will then go on a whole supporting watching whatever they can together with army binge. But even when Jk realized he missed Jimin they did not meet and they did not meet for ramen after that and they did not meet for a while. Jimin asked Jk to come watch him practice more and Jk didn’t want to. So sure.. Jk had a surge of missing Jimin… but when real partners miss each other they do not go on social media about it.. they go see each other.
The GCF was not for Jimin’s birthday, don’t know where you got that from, the Tokyo trip wasn’t even for Jimin’s birthday probably. Jimin himself complained about Jk not buying birthday gifts.
There’s still nothing to base them meeting regularly on, except your assumptions. They could, sure.. but there’s just as much chance that they aren’t. Jk has been super busy, they did meet in NY.. which was part work probably.. but I’m also sure they really enjoyed their time together.. because I do agree that Jimin and Jk have a special bond, just not a romantic one.

What I'm doing next is making playlists for all of the albums, EPs, etc. individually on that same YouTube channel. The official BANGTANTV channel has some of these playlists, but they use the music videos for songs that have them, and this does not create a good listening experience. So, my playlists will have the official audio-only versions of the songs, which are notoriously difficult to find on YouTube even if you type in the names of the video and channel exactly lmao. The ones I've done so far are already public. You can find them here.

It started around 7/8 am KST and it was divided in 4 sessions of 30 min each. i'm sorry i can't tell you where to watch, i've seen many many clips from many different accounts, but videos and photos will be uploaded soon by weverse! ☺️

i skipped their lives, selcas, bangtan bombs, jimmy fallon performances and WIRED interview, 'cause they are very easy to find and i think you saw all of them already 💜
i also skipped the choreography video of permission to dance and the louis vuitton show and its behind the scenes, since you have gifs from them
i didn't mention their "Permission to Dance anywhere" video, 'cause i saw you talking about it the day it came out. the same goes to their SBS interview
in case you haven't seen their "Butterful Getaway" performances yet (which happened after the release of permission to dance mv), they were all uploaded on BangtanTV. their full talk isn't there tho, but you can see it here
there are also their weverse interactions, short youtube videos and smash content
* is for the contents i didn't know where to fit in
that's a lot... i hope it really helps you ❤️ it was actually funny to do this (??🤓) maybe i should be a personal assistant in the future? i'm almost completely sure that i wrote everything from the past two months, but i can't garantee you, since bangtan are truly workaholics 😩 anyway... i know how hard it is to feel lost and late in midst of all their contents, so i just did what i felt was right. i had the time to do, so why not? 💗💗💗
okay once again thank you so so incredibly much for this PLS EVEYONE LOOK HOW LONG THIS ASK IS 😭😭😭😭 YOU DID ALL OF THAT AND YOU EVEN INCLUDED LINKS AND YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO DO THAT?????? YOU'RE AN ANGEL FROM HEAVENS I SWEAR 😭😭😭😭 i didn't find like half of all these and i'm so excited to watch everything now 😭😭😭 THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO DO THIS FOR ME YOU'RE INCREDIBLE ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’m super new to bts and wondering where if you could suggest a place to start for people who are new to them?
i refer back to my camps theory, this depends on what kind of fan you are. there are two approaches, cherrypick from these:
if you are camp 1, you can head to youtube and check out their music videos in a masterplaylist. the comeback stages, too.
if you are camp 2 their vlive channel (to watch run bts) and bangtantv is all you need. bonus: bts in america yt playlist, lot of essential stuff.

Okay so I've heard many BTS songs but where to START? like how do I get to know of their history and all the shit fangirls (the non- toxic ones) do? The only reason I'm not a die hard KPOP fan is that I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START THERE'S SO MUCH CONTENT SNJKSJDAJD. Help me? -👀
OOF BOY WHERE DO I EVEN START WITH THIS? Let me just title this one accordingly:
How to be an ARMY: a shitty guide by another ARMY
I made a short summary of my own journey on becoming an ARMY already, but I didn’t go into any details. The easiest way to start is by watching the music videos / MVs of whichever song genre you prefer.
This here is their official MV and teaser playlist on their agency’s YouTube channel. Read the title first! Their agency, BigHit, usually make their title like this: “(Name) ‘(Title)’ Official MV / Teaser / Comeback Trailer”. In this playlist, there are also RM, J-Hope, and Agust D. They’re all BTS rappers and the ones with their names instead of BTS are their solo works.
Aside from that one, there’s also this playlist from 1theK channel that may have some MVs that aren’t already on BigHit’s. This is because 1theK is kinda like an open market for K-Pop videos, I suppose? Before they have big names and big followings, K-Pop agencies make agreements with other big parties like 1theK to upload their artist’s music. This way they can reach wider audience. BigHit has ended their contract with 1theK, though. BTS’ name is already really big, anyway.
Personally, I started with Dope (as I said in my Journey answer) because the choreography is fun to watch.
Next! What about after? Well, it kinda depends? Are you already interested in them? Or do you need some more ‘convincing’? Either way, I suggest watching videos of them! There are tons of official and unofficial videos of them. Interviews, behind the scenes, compilations, performances, etc. Maybe watch their live performances of the songs you already heard. There are a lot of Korean music shows where Korean artists would perform during promotion, like Music Bank, Inkigayo, M!Countdown, and many others. For each performance day, there are usually interviews and behind the scenes too! They’re always so precious in those ones.
Korean music show’s a bit confusing? There are also English interviews for BTS. Maybe Buzzfeed Puppy Interview, BBMAs red/magenta carpet, James Corden and Carpool Karaoke, Jimmy Fallon, your pick! I personally prefer their Korean interviews, though. BTS are, after all, Koreans. They’re the most comfortable with their own language. Ask in a Box is a fun one. Just search for “BTS interview” (although this most likely will result in English-speaking ones).
NOW THEN! You got their music, their performances, and their interviews. Here comes the fun part: Bangtan Bomb, Episodes, Run! BTS, and Bangtan Gayo!. BTS has a YouTube channel called BANGTANTV where you can watch basically anything they did.
Bangtan Bomb is the name for their antics videos, be it during photoshoots, filming, or maybe just on waiting room. There’s one where the 3 youngest members played hide and seek. It was hilarious. Episodes is behind the scenes of their Music Videos and performances. Aside from these 2, BANGTANTV also has member’s logs and live streams.
Then we also have BTS Run! and Bangtan Gayo!. Run! is BTS’ variety show where they do various missions. There are over 100 episodes now. Gayo! is also some type of variety show, but they “learn about Korean music” instead of random missions. My favorite Run! episodes are the one where Suga / Yoongi had to be a ‘priest’, the one with Min Yoonji the pretty and sassy girl, the ones with dogs, and every time they have to cook. Run and Gayo are only available on V App, though. Although you can open the web version.
After you watch and listen to a lot of them, you’ll have to decide. Do you like them? Do they interest you? If you do, go and start following them on their social medias, especially Twitter. They’re really active there. Follow fellow ARMYs. Follow accounts that focus on BTS updates.
This is a long post, but this barely scratch the surface of “becoming an ARMY”. Feel free to ask me anything about whatever you want to know, BTS-related!
TL;DR: watch their videos, both official and non-official!

Downside of Watching Lyric Videos: A Harsh Reality
1. Doesn’t benefit BTS. While lyric videos are convenient and enjoyable for reading & knowing the lyrics, BTS who sang the song won’t get anything out of it, money-wise. It is, undeniably, piracy. Unless you watch the music videos in ibighit channel or listen to the OFFICIAL album playlists on BangtanTV channel, BTS aren’t getting paid for the lyric videos of their music in YouTube.
2. Doesn’t help in charting. Big Hit is lenient about exercising their copyright claims on lyric videos, but this can hurt in the long run, especially when BTS aim to top charts. Not only lyric videos aren’t paying BTS at all, their views aren’t counted in charts like Billboard EVER. This is why streaming on ibighit and BangtanTV channels as well as paid or ad-supported music streaming services (Spotify, Amazon Music Unlimited, Apple Music, Tidal, etc.) is important.
BTS lose more than 20M views a year to lyric videos, and while one can argue that they have more money than before, payouts and chart changes can hurt in the long run. If we’re going to aim for longevity in charts and stream of paychecks for BTS’s hard work, knowing how and where to support them is vital in this competitive music industry.

Did you know there is official BTS content NOT on BigHit pages?
BigHit and BTS have posted a lot of original content on the many company resources I have been highlighting so far (BangtanTV, iBigHit, Hybe Label, etc.). However, there is a lot of material that is original, and not modified by viewers, that can be found on the official pages of hosts and programs that interviewed BTS or where BTS has performed. For example,
When BTS explained the meaning of their self-produced album, BE, in an interview on MTV Fresh Out Live. This is found on MTV's official channel.
youtube
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><
When BTS reflected on the early eras of their career on Spotify. This is found on Spotify's official channel.
youtube
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><
When BTS performed on many music shows throughout the years. These videos can be found on official broadcasting channels. For example, when BTS performed Fake Love at the Music Bank music show. This can be found on the official KBS World TV channel.
youtube
Some Music Shows: Show Champion, MCountDown, Music Bank, Inkyagayo, Music Core, MMA (Melon), MAMA
Some Official broadcasting channels: (Most set to "BTS" searches.) KBS World TV --- MBC World --- SBSKPop X Inkaygayo --- MNet TV --- MNetPlus --- All The K-Pop --- Melon Official <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><
When BTS did an over 30-segment interview called Let's BTS! on a Special Talk Show. It can also be found on the KBS World TV channel (playlist).
Tumblr media
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><
There are even official sites for solo appearances.
For example,
When Suga spoke with Psy about their collaboration song, That That. This can be found on Psy's official channel, OfficialPsy.
youtube
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><
When V was interviewed by IU on her show, IU's Palette, about his album Layover. This can be found on IU's official channel, IU Official.
youtube
<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><
When Jimin was interviewed on the Lee MuJin Service show about his FACE album and sang a slow, jazzy version of his song, Like Crazy. This can be found on the official KBS KPop channel.
youtube
Some items that are posted on official sites, like a few of these, have since been obtained by BigHit/Hybe and can also be found on BTS's BangtanTV channel. However, there is a wealth of footage that can only be found for official viewing on the official channel where it was originally posted.
Taking a few extra minutes to make sure you're watching the footage on the official channels, instead of through a reactor's or poster's page, not only gives credit to the hosting channel in order to show them BTS's appeal, popularity, and value, but it also gives BTS streaming credit for some of the official views. It also ensures that the footage and translations haven't been modified in any way.
For the record, I do not have anything against reactors. I watch them too at times. It's fun to hear other people's perspectives and observations about the material. Reactors serve a free promotional purpose too. However, I would recommend watching the official pages first or also, rather than to only give credit to the reactors for the hardwork that BTS is actually doing. Many reactors at least do more than posters, who are merely trying to poach clicks from the main page.
Consider the guys watching the numbers on their pages to see how appreciated their work is. Also, by watching the official pages, it helps improve the algorithm to draw more people to the official content. It's a win-win outcome.
I hope this is helpful to you. Feel free to add more items in the comments that may be helpful to others as well.
Enjoy!

FEATURE: They Call Me IDOL! Reliving BTS' Musical Journey Through IDOLiSH7
Tumblr media
One day as I was cruising the crunchy-catalog, I came across a little show called IDOLiSH7. I was in the market for a new show, and what I was presented with was not only a show with delightful characters and great music but a nostalgic reminder of the musical journey of one of my favorite k-pop groups ... yes, it's BTS! You know, TIME's Entertainer of the Year. Between a similar origin story, self-marketing, and team image, I couldn't help but draw comparisons to how this show reminded me of "International K-pop Sensation Sunshine Rainbow Traditional Transfer USB Hub Shrimp BTS," as well as see how the show highlights the entertainment industry when it comes to navigating trainee life, agencies, and debut.
Who doesn't love an underdog story? IDOLiSH7 revolves around seven young, aspiring idols who train under the agency Takanashi Productions, and their manager, Tsumugi Takanashi, who is tasked with coaching these hard-working trainees to debut as a successful idol group.
From the beginning, it's very apparent Takanashi Productions is a small agency that doesn't have a lot of money. Aside from the rare times they splurge when celebrating special occasions, the idols are often supplied cheaper lunches. When it comes to promotion, it's not TV performances that are getting their name out there, but rather the idols themselves and their manager promoting their music and upcoming concerts around town by spreading the word, handing out flyers, and street performing. Because flyers and local concerts can only reach so many people, Tsumugi decides to later emphasize internet projects like IDOLiSH Night With You, a variety web show where IDOLiSH7 partakes in activities while also working on their approachability, accessibility, and connecting with their fans.

When I look back at the early days of BTS, they too debuted under a small agency with limited money — especially when compared to the big three entertainment giants in South Korea: JYP, SM, and YG Entertainment. When getting started, BTS didn't have the same resources as other idol groups. While IDOLiSH7 ate cheaper lunches, BTS had to practice their singing in a basement and recorded songs for their first full album in a garage. When it came to promotion, Big Hit didn't have the ability to market the group widely, so BTS turned to the digital space, relying heavily on social media as a means to connect with fans. Their social presence included casual posts, vlogs, and later on, yup you guessed it, a well-produced — and very entertaining — variety show! While IDOLiSH7 has IDOLiSH Night With You, BTS has Run BTS, a variety show that also participates in activities like drama reenactments and cooking shows, allowing fans to feel connected and providing an approachable feel where ARMY are able to see the members being their honest selves.

Both the members of IDOLiSH7 and BTS were specifically selected — brought together in untraditional ways with a mixture of personalities and individual appeal that brings something special to the group when they are all together. In short, it's seven members with various personalities, skills, and goals. This connection seems VERY obvious, I get it. On the surface, it's super easy to make a connection between RM and Yamato by saying, "Oh well they're both the leader," or to compare Nagi and Jin because they're both visuals who also just so happen to have this youthful and fun personality with love for character mascots. But as I continued watching the series and saw the character development, I started to see a deeper connection beyond the surface and immediate similarities.

Not all of the IDOLiSH7 characters had the same reason for becoming an idol. Mitsuki — who brings this feeling of encouragement and positive energy — dreamed of becoming an idol and worked hard auditioning for years in the hope of signing with an agency to get their chance in the spotlight. Iori — whose personality is more logical — simply wanted to support and help fulfill another's dream.
When I watched this development between Mitsuki and Iori unfold, I couldn't help but think of V and how he came to be a trainee at Big Hit, and later, a member of BTS. Like Iori, V initially had no intention of auditioning for an agency, but soon found himself as a trainee after he was encouraged to try out by an executive, (and getting permission from his dad) after being spotted at an audition, even though he was just there supporting someone who was trying out. While V and Iori entered into the industry by unconventional means, getting in is half the battle. Staying in is a whole other pressure that, as I was watching IDOLiSH7, I came to realize Riku and Suga know all too well.
The entertainment industry is tough and often an uphill battle. Trainees work hard for years to get their shot at debuting and despite all that hard work, it's not guaranteed your career will be launched. Being let go is a harsh reality and trainees don't want to give the agencies any reason to cut them. This is why some trainees hide secrets that could affect their chances of debuting, and in IDOLiSH7, it's Riku who withholds knowledge about a certain condition. Luckily for Riku, he's surrounded by support from his fellow members and his manager who sees his potential and wants him to continue this journey.

When the series revealed this aspect of Riku fairly early on, I recalled when Suga injured his shoulder while working a part-time delivery job to pay his tuition, and how he too kept that a secret from his agency in the fear of having his dreams of working in music cut short. When talking about his injury, Suga said he thought Big Hit would let him go if they knew about it, but that wasn't what happened. When Suga discussed his future with Big Hit and Bang Si-Hyuk, their support for him became apparent, and like Riku, Suga saw how Big Hit was willing to wait and they ended up paying for his tuition.

IDOLiSH7 members Sogo and Tamaki are members of a subunit called MEZZO. Now, I won't go into detail about how MEZZO came about because you know, spoilers, BUT what struck me is that although these two characters perform as members of a subunit, their desire to perform with the rest of the group remains strong.
IDOLiSH7 is a series that really focuses on that team aspect. Tsumugi is a supportive manager who fights for the group's success, and the members are appreciative of her hard work and guidance. Although there are certain strategies Tsumugi wants to explore when it comes to getting this group off the ground, Tsumugi also hears the thoughts and opinions of the group, creating a trustworthy, well-balanced partnership and establishing a strong team image.

Similarly, BTS is a group whose members partake in solo projects and perform in subunits. From mixtapes to music singles to performing songs as either the rap line or vocal line, the members of BTS are individuals with unique identities who express themselves creatively through many musical opportunities. Although BTS has the opportunity to express themselves creatively and create and collaborate on music as individuals, Big Hit and Bang Si-Hyuk also emphasize team image, and like IDOLiSH7, it's very clear BTS loves performing as a group, which is inspiring to see.

IDOLiSH7 intrigued me with its similar origin story to a music group I admire, but it hooked me with its well-balanced ensemble cast, upbeat music, and an authentic look at the entertainment industry. I clicked because of the connection, but I "jumped high" for Yamato, Mitsuki, Sogo, Nagi, Riku, Iori, and Tamaki, better known as IDOLiSH7!

bts gayo: another bts variety shows on vlive, another fave pls watch it!!!!
episode 1 here; playlist for the rest under the video, repeat everything i said above and there’s 2 seasons (15 eps?) so far, eps in s1 are shorter around 10 minutes and they get longer (but worth it i swear)
bts’ lucky draw: i can’t explain what this is but they play a lot of random games like charades and wii sports and blindfolded hide and seek, i highly recommend
episode 1, episode 2, episode 3, episode 4, episode 5
yang nam show: blood sweat tears era pajama party sleepover where they expose each other for the laughs and it’s!!! soft!!! and funny as hell
part 1 here, part 2 here
idol party: spring day era, lots of club (”club”) dancing, screaming, cuteness, jin being the comedy king he IS and deserves to BE always, their personalities are rly accurate here
watch here; also as a note i prefer new fans watching these shows to learn bts instead of weekly idol (TRASH SHOW) and older shows bc a lot of them had to put on terrible images and hide who they are and it’s not that you can’t watch debut era shows but yeah that’s my two cents
vlive special shows: so these are kinda random little mini-shows random subunits/duos/members did and the only one that still consistently goes on is eatjin (i love a king) and kiiiinda hwagae market (i love yoonseok)
95z satoori: taehyung and jimin’s short-lived but cute show where they teach viewers daegu and busan (respectively) satoori, 3 eps in total; fave ep here
1 minute english: amazing resident english speaker namjoon teaches jungkook the essential english words and phrases, that’s it, it’s cute, it’s short; ep 1 here and ep 2 here
hope on the street: YALL GOT A DAY TO TALK ABOUT DANCE KING HOSEOK, this is jung hoseok’s dance show, look at his talent, love him, stan him, he even invites other members bc his heart is gold and if i have to hear one more rat say he isn’t the best dancer i’m gonna pop a lung; episode with jungkook, episode with jimin ft. taehyung (P.S. HERE’S A BOY MEETS EVIL PRACTICE VIDEO YALL SHOULD WATCH)
hwagae market: literally a show with yoongi and hoseok doing random shit??? they’re in love idk yoongi texted me and told me……..but no they decided to form the world’s most iconic duo, sope, in 2016 and this show was born, best friends/soulmates; episode 1, the punishment after episode 1 (yes they brought their sope outfits to macau even though they were on tour, when will ur faves ever)
eatjin: LET ME TALK ABOUT THE BEST SHOW YALL STILL SLEEP ON!!!! jin eats food (oftentimes several plates by himself), makes cute noises, makes critiques (gordon ramsay could never), and sometimes invites members bc he loves sharing food with everyone and it’s the cutest fuckin show, his eating broadcasts feel like i’m hanging out with my best friend; here’s three of my fave episodes (1, 2, 3) p.s. the ones i linked are from bangtantv on yt but he does tons on vlive too so here’s two from vlive (1, 2)
not a special vlive show but we need to talk about kim namjoon’s vlive broadcasts bc they make me feel so at home and they’re so cute and he’s so introspective and thoughtful and smiley when people love him and why aren’t yall talking about them…….NOT TO MENTION HE DOESN’T HAVE TO SPEAK 3+ LANGUAGES IN HIS BROADCASTS FOR US AND YET….here’s some faves please give him love: new mon studio, here, another one, wings behind story
if you need bangtan bomb recommendations hit me up but this is getting too long asfljsa but as a general rule of thumb vlive broadcasts are Fantastic so scroll through and see what catches your eye!!! happy watching!!!!
