More on Giftbox in the Balan Theater! ^^

The Maestros are at times busy, leaving Giftbox in the Theater. It was fine at first, but there were times Giftbox would go back to being alone and internally scared that she gets clingy with Balan and Lance. They don’t mind, but 

They’ve decided that a solution was to give her a Tim and Mini-Negati to keep her company as they work and it seems to work for now!

And for Giftbox’s persona in the Theater~

They are seen around by the visitors and doesn’t do much, would watch them do stuff or invite them over for card games when bored.

Seems harmless, but it sort of distracts the visitors from the main goal. So, Zoe would be looming in the background or resting in a makeshift hammock.

There are moments when Giftbox breaks character and laments about this, as this is nothing new and these feelings of being useless or annoying.

But after the visitors leave, it would be Balan who’s looking for her as he deeply cares about her as any parent would.

The Hualing Family

Remember when I decided to draw the rest of Mei’s family? Well, here they are! Plus, I’ve got some aunts, uncles, and cousins in mind; yet they haven’t been planned out yet.

First and foremost, we have Mei’s parents; June and Daniel Hualing respectively. June is a talented young woman who loves making dumplings and the world a better place. She has embroidery on her pants to represent her younger two kids (Fireflies for Lexi and a Lightning Bolt for Trey), while a lotus on her apron represents Mei. She’s basically like Julieta from Encanto, and thank goodness she’s not like a certain other Mei’s mom. Daniel, on the other hand, is the more accident prone of the couple. He’s just like Augustin (down to the hairstyle), even though he isn’t allergic to bees. He’s very supportive to his kids and is more than willing to take Mei out if she wants to feel better.

Next, we have Mei’s grandparents, Nai Nai Lian and Ye Ye Qin. Lian is a hardworking grandma and the mother of Daniel. She’s helpful, willing to work out; and is a very great storyteller and baker. She taught her daughter in law how to make her famous dumplings, and in turn she also plays with her grandkids. Luckily, she’s not like a certain Colombian Abuela or a certain other Mei’s grandma. Qin, on the other hand; loves reading books. He often allows his grandkids to grab any story from the bookshelf and he’ll read them in the most calming voice you can ever imagine. Also, he is super duper fit and loves his family dearly.

Last but not least, are Mei and her siblings! Mei is the eldest of the Hualing siblings; with her being a bit too paranoid about how others would feel if she revealed her true self- it’s that they would leave her side and she would be an outcast (Spoiler alert, This isn’t the case). But however, she does love playing her custom made acoustic guitar, decorating her scrapbook that she got for her 11th birthday, and making dumplings with her parents. Trey and Lexi, on the other hand; are more energetic; with Trey loving to go outside and convince others to get dirty- especially when it comes to playing. Lexi, on the other hand is more into fashion and playing with her dolls; even going as far as to give them custom makeovers. Both are fiercely loyal to their older sister and will even go as far as to bring out the person inside her.

A few days later, the patient was fully cured, and they leap into Regina’s arms as a thank you for saving their life.

Why she came to Wonderworld: Before she came to Wonderworld, Mei had trouble expressing her true self and was constantly shy and only talked when necessary. Once she saved Wonderworld and was allowed to go home, she was allowed to keep her memories, so she can visit whenever she feels like it. Her personality after the events of Wonderworld is that she is preppy and always willing to help anyone out.
