Here’s a new MEP part from me! This is for my studio’s second MEP! The focus is on Thief King Bakura this time!

The theme is showing a character’s struggle and how they rose to the top. I took a few creative liberties with this one.

This one is a bit older but I really like how this one turned out. It's basically recapping all of Marik's life. It shows how this one boy became brave enough to defy thousands of years of tradition and ultimately gain his own freedom.

It's a non-pairing AMV but it's full of Marik. I thought my Bakura and Marik followers would enjoy it. :D))

I haven’t posted a MEP part in a long time so here you go, everyone! It’s made for a Halloween MEP and I had a lot of fun with the coloring. 

It’s supposed to be Aigami x Ryou. I think the ship is memoryshipping? It’s supposed to be a representative of a dark relationship because that was the theme of the MEP. It’s also the first time I got to finish an edit with the DSOD movie! Yay!

2. Are there any plot tropes you are sick of/refuse to RP? If so, what are they and why?

With Kaiba: I refuse to write plots that revolve around him falling in love or bonding with someone’s muse. In an AU setting, sure - maybe I can consider it. But for mainverse? Yeah, nope. Fuck that. We ain’t brushing off the abuse that he had to endure- which made him into what he is in present time, his inability to bond/love isn’t a “quirk uwu” or a “personality trait”.

For Set: Stop butchering history for uwu reasons, please do some basic research on Ancient Egypt. It takes 5 seconds to find information about it, on Google. I get it, our history isn’t sunshine and rainbows, humanity has had their fucked up moments... This also includes AE. I’m not asking for a hyper realistic depiction of that world (YGO still is a primarily, fantasy serie after all), but c’mon don’t try to insert values/ideas/morals that don’t make sense for the time period these characters are inserted in (surprise AE takes place long before christianity was even a thing, y’all can stop treating homosexuality as a massive sin around this time period)

3. As a mun, what are three of your biggest flaws when it comes to being someone’s RP partner?

Communication: I admit, this has been something I’ve been struggling with. There are times where I’ll respond instantly, and others where I may stay weeks/days/etc without responding to a message because I completely forgot to do so..... Unintentionally ghosting people. I’m deeply sorry for everyone I may have hurt because of this, they’re 100% on the right for feeling like that and I don’t blame anyone for wishing to move on or drop me as a partner;

I guess I can get carried over and way too excited, way too fast. And I think this ends up, scaring away people? IDK I think it might be just my brain, due to some bad past experiences... But I have a feeling this ends up leading, to people losing interest on me? Or just decide to leave all the work to me? Your guess is as good as mine, man. Whenever I approach anyone to plot with, I ALWAYS ask them what their boundaries/limits are and ask them to remind me or tell me if I ever end up crossing a line... But even that doesn’t seem to prevent this from happening;

It isn’t so much about me... But my muses, may not mesh well at all with others. And this just makes plotting & interacting, almost impossible

6. Is there a character that the rest of your fandom adores that you just don’t like/are indifferent to? Who is the character and why?

// Oh boy uh... Ryou Bakura, yami Bakura and TK Bakura... Yeah those three are the worst characters, in all of the YGO cast of characters.

You know it is bad, when one of your supposed main cast’s characters is forgotten about 90% of the time. I really don’t like them... I can’t stand the type of character they are meant to be, meanwhile I can see why they are popular the way they are in the community.

I find them to be bland, 2000′s edginess to the extreme, uwu, and uwu soft 3spooky goth guys uwu. Honestly, speaking as someone who only watched the anime adaptation... If you remove Ryou and Yami Bakura... It wouldn’t have affected at all, the plots progression.

8. Out of the really popular pairings in your fandom, what’s your nOTP?

 // Puppy.shipping (Joey/Kaiba) is the weakest shit I’ve ever seen... I fail to see the chemistry of it, it doesn’t help that this ship is impossible to be written with my take on Seto. I don’t even want to give them a shot at.

No offense to any Joey blogs who were hoping for me to praise this pair, but I’ll give this a hard pass. But Joey has too many things going for him, that genuinely pisses off Kaiba.

As for Set... I don’t know the name but uh. Thief king Bakura/Set... Just see my rant about the Bakuras, then come back here... Do I have to add anything else? Other than write my essay explaining about, how much Set would never buy thief’s shit and much like Joey... He has too many things about him, that genuinely pisses off the priest.

Just because two characters have similar tropes going for them, it doesn’t mean it will do any good for their chemistry/development.

13. Who is your least favorite character in the fandom you RP in? List three admirable traits about them.

Ryou: Season 0 Ryou wasn’t half-bad. He was properly introduced, instead of being shoved into the serie like we get in DM;

Y!Bakura: Thank God he doesn’t show up much in the show.

TK!Bakura: He dies, and stays dead and doesn’t show up in the afterlife. Sorry about your village, but I couldn’t care less about you man.

I will warn you, it is a rather depressing video though.

I always wanted to do a video where it shows Ryou having no friends. I know that in "canon," (more so in the manga) that the group accepts him into their group, but the anime really did a lame job in showing how he was supposed to be in Yuugi's group. So this is a play on headcanons and fanon where Yuugi's group basically snubs him and leaves him by himself.

If such a concept triggers anyone's mental health, I'd advise not clicking the link but otherwise... Have at it!
