One gram of salt + 6tsp koolaid in 710ml = cheaper than salt pills and mostly concealed salt flavour
#salt pills are so expensive#so if I can do that for every water I have to drink#it would halve my dose of salt down#to only 5 pills needing to be taken instead of 10#industrial sized salt bag#and cheap bulk koolaid#much more sustainable financially

Unwavering III - Ibiki x Reader
this is for @snuggleboots (taglist is open)
Warnings: Reader is dealing with psychological aspects of her work and she's having trouble with alcoholism. Please do not read if this triggers you.
Masterlist - Part II
Are you ready for some action?
Two months after that first night you slept over, you step into your apartment to get a present you bought early only to realize that you can’t tell when you’ve last been here for more than half an hour.
You wonder how Ibiki feels about you living at his place permanently.
He seems undisturbed in his routine for the most part. Doesn’t seem to care that you always wake up curled around him like a question mark.
You could probably walk around naked and he wouldn’t care.
But there are moments when he freezes up.
When you’re cozied up with Neko. When you’re on your period, hair unkempt and body unwashed, vegetating on the Couch in one of his shirts with an industrial-sized bag of chips.
When you put salt into the pudding instead of sugar or when you forgot to take out the cherry pits before making jam, almost losing a tooth when you taste-tested it.
It’s cozy to live with him. There’s always Neko to come home to, even if he’s on a mission. Even if your bed is a little too small to share.
He’s a good cook and an even better teacher. He doesn’t mind if you want to talk after work or stay quiet. He calls you out on your laziness and lets you off the hook more often than not.
If he ever decides to throw you out, you might have turned into a decent cook, but you’ll sure as hell miss him and his annoying fat cat.
.
You’re celebrating Guy finally making Jonin tonight and you know exactly what you want to wear. The dark brown dress you never bought.
You don’t know if Ibiki was invited to the party as well but you already know it would not affect him. It would affect others though and maybe that’s what you need to get out of whatever this was you had going on with Ibiki.
You choose a dark green dress instead, not as low-cut as you normally wear but with an open back to show off. You choose your lipstick carefully from the multitude of colors you still have in this apartment. You know you look good but something is off.
You realize what it is when you step inside Kakashi’s apartment and someone presses a cup into your hand, the liquid splashing over the rim and covering your fingers. The smell makes you want to throw up.
“Thank you.” You tell Raido with a smile. His eyes linger on your lips. You want to go home.
“Where’s Guy?” You ask and he points somewhere to his right. You follow his direction and land in the kitchen where you pour your drink down the sink, wash your hands, and pour yourself Orange Juice with a generous splash of raspberry juice until your drink looks almost the same as the one in the giant punch bowl.
You take a sip and flinch at the sweetness. It will do.
.
The noise leads you to the open deck and the garden where most of the people have accumulated.
Guy’s proving to everyone that he’s able to carry both Kakashi and Asuma at the same time, both men more interested in their drinks than the person carrying them.
“Y/N!” Guy calls out when he spots you. “My flower of Youth!”
You roll your eyes fondly and fling your present at him, knowing full well that he’s capable of catching it. And he does, rips away the wrapping paper to reveal a green jumpsuit that’s way too small for him.
“What’s the meaning of this?” He asks, holding it up. “I don’t have a child.”
“For your future students.” You point out. “May they be worthy of your training.”
Guy looks like he’s about to cry. Asuma has already moved out of his reach but Kakashi’s still standing there, seemingly interested in his drink. Guy wraps an arm around him as if suddenly unable to hold himself up. uses him as a makeshift crutch until he’s close enough to you to hug you, much too tight to be comfortable.
“I like your dress.” Guy declares loudly when he lets go of you again. “We match.”
You smile and pat his head.
“Of Course. You made Jonin after all.”
Another Newcomer diverts Guy's attention.
“Ibiki!” He calls out in surprise. “What brings you here, my friend?”
“I was invited.” Ibiki points out stiffly. You smother a giggle behind your drink. Ibiki’s eyes cut to yours, then to your cup. His mouth is a thin line as always but you already know what he’s thinking.
“Where’s your present?” You ask Ibiki. “Forgot it at the office?”
“No. I did not bring a present.” Somewhere behind you, Raido boos loudly.
“I thought long about what Guy would need as a Jonin. But I found that he might only need our assistance and that he has in spades.”
Guy tears up immediately. You think you hear Kakashi snort but that could be your imagination.
Guy leans forward, probably to pull Ibiki into one of his hugs, and you move to intercept.
“Oh, Anko!” You smile at her. “You’ve just come in too, right? Guy, Anko’s here too.” You turn your friend a little and grab Ibiki’s arm when you’ve succeeded.
“Let’s get you a drink, boss-man.” You don’t have to pull, he’s following you without hesitance into the kitchen that’s still as blissfully empty as before.
.
“What are you drinking?” He asks quietly.
“A disgusting mix of orange and raspberry juice.” You hand him the cup. “But it looks like the Punch everyone else’s drinking. Do you want Soda or something else?”
Instead of an answer, Ibiki pulls you back to him.
You open your mouth, to ask, to protest, you’re not sure. Instead, your lips meet his.
Someone sighs softly and you can’t tell if it’s you or him.
But it’s your hands that curl into his shirt. Hold him close until you hear footsteps coming closer, the noise making you shoot apart.
There’s not even a hint of red on his lips and you’re glad you decided to wear kissproof lipstick tonight, not knowing you’d need it.
Kakashi steps into the kitchen and you stare at him as if he’s a ghost. He blinks.
“Everything okay with you?”
“This has way too much sugar.” Ibiki points out calmly from your side. He’s got your cup in his hand, taking another sip as if it’s his. Your heart’s still beating loudly in your ears.
Did that really happen just now? Or did you fall victim to a Genjutsu? Wait, is he just drinking out of your cup right now?
“Well, no one said you had to drink it.” You point out angrily, “I’ll get you a Soda.”
“Afraid of the Punch?” Kakashi asks and grabs the bowl. “Raido made it.”
“I’m not drinking alcohol.” You say like it’s nothing. Kakashi freezes in his movements. Now it’s him staring at you like you’re a ghost.
“Since when?” Wow, you really must have had a problem if even Kakashi is perturbed by this.
“Two months.” You find the bottles of Soda - not in the fridge because this is Kakashi’s place and he’s never been normal about things like these - and toss one to Ibiki before taking one for yourself. “Glad you noticed.”
“I was wondering why you weren’t hanging out as much.” Kakashi points out. “Thought you got a boyfriend.”
Your eyes don’t flicker to Ibiki because you’ve got control of yourself. You’re a Jonin and a damned good one. But you’d lie if you didn’t think of him the moment Kakashi mentioned the dreaded term. If your lips didn’t start tingling.
But it must have been a Genjutsu, right? Why else would Ibiki still be as nonchalant as he is now? Well, two could play that game.
“Yeah? Well, maybe I got one.” You tease and take your juice back from Ibiki. It’ll probably taste better mixed with Soda.
-
“Dude!” Raido shakes the chair next to him. “Sit next to me.”
“I think he means you.” You tell Ibiki loudly, knowing full well that Raido likes Ibiki about as much as he likes Dentists.
Raido’s face falls for a second before he reconsiders his strategy.
“No sitting together for the two of you.” He calls out and points at you and Ibiki. “You’ll just cheat.”
“Cheating is only needed if you can’t win in a fair fight.” Ibiki points out, sounding bored, and Raido huffs. “Whatever. Y/N, sit next to me. Ibiki can sit next to Guy or whatever.”
“Ibiki, my friend!” Guy welcomes him with open arms. “You’re also not drinking alcohol? We can share this bottle of pear juice that Kakashi gifted me.”
“What are you drinking?” Anko asks rudely to your right. She glares at the bottle of Soda in your right. “Where’s your Punch? Raido, didn’t you give the girl something decent to drink?”
“I’m not drinking alcohol.” You repeat, enjoying how satisfying it feels to say it out loud. You’re not drinking alcohol. That’s it.
Silence falls over your group of friends. Genma drops his Senbon, Asuma almost chokes on his Cigarette. Ibiki sits stone faced next to Guy who looks like he’s going to cry any second. Raido’s sitting slack-jawed.
“What? Why?” Anko looks like you’ve grown a second head. “You’re always so much fun to drink with.”
“I’m pregnant.” Time freezes for a second. Raido’s now sputtering next to you like he’s fighting for his last breath. More than one pair of eyes flies from your face to Ibiki who looks just as bored as he’s looked seconds before. You feel a little sick. How has everyone picked up on your feelings for him when your best flirting leaves him as unbothered as the weather report.
“Just kidding.” You huff. “Gosh, like I’d deal with that weight gain. Nah, I just decided to join Guy in the community of Non-drinkers.”
“When did that happen?” Anko asks, clearly miffed by your choice.
“Ah, about two months ago.”
“So you hid away because you didn’t want to drink with us?” She crosses her arms. “I would have forgiven you if you finally got yourself a boyfriend but you know you can go out with us and stay sober, right?”
“Yeah, yeah.” You nod. “I just wasn’t sure if I’d cave right away. But I’m good now.”
“So no boyfriend?” Raido asks next to you, sounding a tad bit too hopeful for your likes.
“Doesn’t matter, she’s not interested in you.” Anko points out before you can. “Well, let’s get the games started then. Can we do knife juggling again? I love that game!”
-
You stay the longest out of all your friends, helping to clean up the mess even though you hate doing it. You’re a little afraid of what’ll wait for you at home.
Ibiki’s nowhere to be found and you’re not sure when he left. It’s frankly surprising that he even came. While no one from your friend group would turn their backs on him, he’s not exactly the most social guy. He’s up for a friendly chat in between missions if you meet him on the street, but he’s not the type of person you invite to get a drink together.
Which is a shame, to be honest. He’s awfully good to talk to, doesn’t shy away from getting into heated discussions that actually make sense, and listens to your points instead of waving them off because you’re just a pretty face.
You huff out a breath as you toss out the last bag of garbage. Kakashi’s snoring somewhere behind you, most of the group has conked out in the garden. Guy’s somewhere in the kitchen preparing a midnight snack.
“I’m going to be off now.” You tell him. He moves to hug you and you let him. It’s not as tight as it was when you came in and yet it feels like it carries more meaning this way.
“You and Ibiki, huh?” He asks, boyish grin lighting up his features.
“I don’t know what you mean.” You deflect. He snorts.
“Come on. I know you long enough to know when you’re interested in someone.”
“Sure,” You huff, allowing yourself to be vulnerable now that it’s just you and Guy. ”But me liking him doesn’t make this a thing.”
“That might be true. But I’m sure he cares about you. In his own way.”
You sigh. “Don’t you think it’s… weird?”
Guy stiffens. “Because of how he looks?”
“What? No!” You protest and shuffle your feet awkwardly. This isn’t easy for you to admit. “Because he’s… smart. And tough. And one of the most talented Jonin I know and I’m just… me.”
“Don’t put yourself down. You’re amazing too.”
You huff. “Yeah, Guy. I’m really pretty. I’ve been told that so many times I’ve started to think there’s nothing else about me worth mentioning.”
“No, no.” He grabs you by the arms and lifts you, looks you in the eyes with a determination that’s so Guy it hurts. “You are smart. And powerful. And funny. And caring. You never give up!”
“Jeez, just kiss already.” You hear a voice behind you. You both turn to see Kakashi leaning against the doorway.
“How much did you hear?”
“Enough to wonder why you’re still here.”
“Where else would I be?” You ask.
“At Ibiki’s place, confessing.”
You sink back into yourself. Even with that kiss, you’re not sure this is a good idea. You might have imagined it, after all. Or it was a test and you failed.
After all, Raido had been flirting with you all evening and he’d not once reacted to that.
As it stands, you can’t run from this any longer.
“Well,” you swallow the insecurity and hold it in your stomach where it burns. “I’ll try. Don’t tell the others in case it goes wrong.”
“Sure.” Kakashi nods and pulls you into the most awkward half-hug you’ve ever experienced. He’s definitely not a hugger.
“We believe in you.” Guy pumps his fist in the air to emphasize his point.

Undercover
"I volunteer to sleep on the floor."
"Don't be daft; have you seen the size of that bed," Guydelot says, thrusting the curtains open to let in the beautiful island sunshine. He hasn't stopped grinning since they'd received this assignment; Sanson's almost sure of it. Under vastly different circumstances, Sanson might have also welcomed the chance to spend three weeks - or more! - in a tropical paradise, with his every expense paid for by the Twin Adder... but despite appearances (and in spite of what Guydelot seems eager to believe), they are on duty.
Matron save me, what a duty.
Sanson unceremoniously drops his bags on the cabin floor beside Guydelot's, and sinks heavily to a seat on one of the generously-upholstered loveseats. Idly, anxiously, he twists the unfamiliar gold ring on his finger, pretending his hands are only sweaty due to the island heat. Fighting nausea. Failing. He struggles with the urge to snatch up one of the pillows that he might scream himself hoarse into it, letting loose all of his bewildered frustration: at this mission, at this entire situation, at himself for accepting it-
"You don't have to be so glum about it." His bardly companion, showing none of Sanson's own reservations, drops himself onto the other side of the loveseat without needing any invitation. "How often do we get a mission someplace nice, eh? At least it ain't Ishgard again. Or Garlemald." Guydelot stretches, draping one long arm across the back of the seat. "Tropical paradise, a proper beach, ocean waves to lull us to sleep-"
"And a serial murderer on the loose," Sanson cuts in, waspish. "You do recall this is no pleasure jaunt?"
Unfazed by his partner's temper - and why should he be, after five years of working together; who knows Sanson's moods better than Guydelot? - the bard grins again, holding his hands up in playful surrender. "Aye, Chief; sat through the same orders you did, didn't I? I'm just saying..." His gaze wanders toward the window again. The warm breeze wafting in carries the tang of salt, and the cries of gulls in the near distance confirms it: they're far from the familiar boughs of the Twelveswood. "I'm just saying," Guydelot continues, letting his hand fall back behind Sanson again, giving a lock of his hair a teasing tug. "The Cieldalaes are a damn sight better than Abalathia."
Some of Sanson's indignation cools. He sighs, resting his face in his hands. Muffled, he says, "I know. 'Tis only..."
Gods, but it's only a dozen things, isn't it? Sanson has never needed to serve undercover before this, nor did he ever wish to do so; he is no actor, and this requires some skill at thinking on his feet...
But the Maelstrom required aid from someone not known to miscreants native to Vylbrand, for a hunt that's left even the vaunted - albeit dubious, to Sanson's rigid view of the law - Rogues' Guild stymied. And so they'd turned to the Order of the Twin Adder, desperate for fresh faces to put an end to the grisly string of gruesome killings happening in a most unlikely place.
A pair of retired adventurers had purchased one of the many desirable Cieldalaes islands... and industriously set about turning it into a couples' retreat, transforming their own considerable fortunes into comfort and luxury for lovebirds all across Eorzea. What had begun as a modest venture had evolved into a truly high-end experience, rivaling that of the Manderville Gold Saucer, or even the most palatial estates of Ul'dah - of a certainty, the sort of accommodations Sanson and Guydelot couldn't hope to afford without the substantial backing of the Twin Adder. It lured in wealthy couples by the hundreds from as far as Kugane, eager to bask in the romantic island surroundings, far from prying eyes...
But something very wrong has happened here.
In recent moons, those couples have been turning up dead - dead and robbed, divested of whatever wealth they brought with them to the island. Distraught, the owners had reached out to the Maelstrom...
And that's where we come in, Sanson thinks, his stomach in knots. A pair of naive Gridanians who, miraculously, haven't heard the first thing about murders happening in our beautiful vacation home.
If it were just that, if it were only that, only the murders to be solved and the murderer brought to justice...
"It's the part where we're supposed to be madly in love," Guydelot supplies, after the silence stretches a little too long. "Am I right?"
Sanson groans in response, still muffled in his hands.
Guydelot, damn the man, laughs, letting his head drop back against the seat. He'd laughed himself to tears when they'd been briefed on the mission, too, all while Sanson stared in numb disbelief at their far-too-amused commander. Surely there had to be a better pair of officers they could have sent - someone better-suited to detective work; someone tried and tested with this sort of thing...
But no, Commander Heuloix had assured him; no, there were no others, and Sanson and Guydelot's teamwork made them ideal for the mission. Which, Sanson supposes, must be a politic way of saying that Guydelot has a knack for getting people to say more than they intended, and that he has a knack for persuading Guydelot to focus on his work. And they do work well together. For the past five years, since their fateful hunt for the Ballad of Oblivion, they've been nigh-inseparable; the best of friends, the most unlikely of teams. They balance one another: the twin leads of Sanson's unit, and together, they've led that unit to victory time and again-
But that hardly makes them suited to pretend to be lovers!
Guydelot stops to catch his breath, letting his laughter trail off into quiet chuckles. He rests a hand on the back of Sanson's neck, gently tugging him back upright. Sanson lets his hands fall heavily into his lap with a sigh.
"I cannot do this."
"Sure you can," Guydelot says, reaching for his harp - of course he didn't leave home without his harp; he could no more leave it behind than he could his head. He strums a quiet, calming melody. "Shouldn't be all that hard, eh? You've just gotta convince everyone we happen to meet that you're in love with the most dashingly handsome elezen they've ever seen. Easiest job in the world."
Sanson casts the man a withering glare - wasted, of course, as the bard's eyes are on his harp. "It isn't so simple."
"Sure it is. You've never pretended to be in love with someone before?"
"No."
"Sanson the Saint," Guydelot sings with a grin, winking at him. Winking. Sanson stifles the urge to kick the man's shin. Guydelot sets his harp aside once more, studying his own hands... and the gold ring on one finger, matching the one Sanson's wearing. "The rings were a nice touch," the bard remarks, plucking his off to study it more closely. "This sort of place attracts honeymooners."
Sanson realizes he's been fretfully twisting his own ring again - he's worn the thing for only a few days, but nervous habits develop quickly. "Honeymooners," he repeats, dismal.
"Aye, but I'm thinking we ain't honeymooners," Guydelot continues, sliding his ring back on. "You and me, we've been married a while; a few years, say-"
"Five years?" Sanson offers the suggestion wryly, but the bard nods.
"Aye, sure, five years. Might as well. You remember what Celaine said; we bicker like an old married couple? We've got it down to an art already. But the spark's gone out, I reckon; we got married too young. And this trip's a last-ditch effort to rekindle the old flame, such as it is." He lifts his eyebrows, eyeing Sanson sidelong. "I reckon it's as good a reason as any for us being a little less cozy in public."
Sanson stares. "That... that's well-considered," he manages. The knot of anxiety begins to unravel. "Still-"
"Still, you're going to have to put in a little effort to act as though you want that spark rekindled." Guydelot drapes his arm behind Sanson again, letting it rest on the midlander's shoulders this time. "And for gods' sakes, Sanson, be a little less stiff," he adds, cheery. "You're meant to be on vacation! If whoever's doing all this killing gets one look at you, they'll see military man just rolling off you like a bad smell."
He wants to argue, but knows better.
Instead, he shrugs the bard's arm away, rising. "Help me unpack," he says. "We'll not be living out of our packs while we're here, and we'd best get familiar with our base of operations, such as it is. We won't want for space." Not with a cabin big enough for a small family - the bedroom suite alone is nearly twice the size of some apartments Sanson has seen, and the kitchen could serve an entire family. Doubtless many of the island's visitors brought retainers to tend to their every whim...
But they've only brought themselves.
And may the Matron help us.

well shit lol
Vadim (busiest maintenance man in the world) came in to cut a hole in the sheetrock and examine the AC leak. There's a slew of issues, only one of which we knew about previously:
- Drain was installed two inches too close to the sheetrock, and is bent into a J shape, so it's too jammed to drain correctly (we knew this)
- the stud next to drain is warped, so the sheetrock was bent slightly around it, leaving a gap that makes the main hvac drain run at a slight angle \ instead of plumb | (surprise #1)
- the insulation around the suspiciously kinked drain is almost completely dry (surprise #2)
- Vadim: "Oh, not good news." There's a full square foot patch of insulation above the drain that's soaked straight through, all the way to the ceiling line. (surprise #3)
- There's a soggy patch of sheetrock about a foot wide in front of the drain, but it stops short about three feet down, so something in there is diverting the leak toward the exterior, which is why there's a mildew stain in the foundation. The way plumbing and electrical was blueprinted means this shouldn't be possible, so something fucky is going on further down the wall. (surprise #4)
- the ceiling line inside the wall is absolutely sodden, to the point that my upstairs neighbor probably has a patch of sagging particle board under his laminate in the nw corner. Either his AC is leaking gradually, or the unit above his is absolutely fucked. (surprise #5, the one that made Vadim quietly swear a blue streak)
Reminder: This apartment complex is six months old!!! Vadim says the construction company and their inspectors have messed up so thoroughly in so many different places around the property that he's had to call the contractors several times a month to flag code violations. "These inspectors signed off everything with their eyes closed, I think."
Vadim also tells me that, a couple of weeks ago he went to the roof to figure out why the downspouts weren't draining properly. He found "Hundreds of empty water bottles, energy drink cans, paper and plastic cups, plastic wrappers" floating in a foot of standing water, hiding "maybe fifty" industrial sized garbage bags full of MORE plastic trash clogging the downspouts. After they drained the water and cleared the trash - which took THREE WORK DAYS - The roof was already so slick with slime mold that they had to put down rock salt and asphalt grit to make it safe to walk on.
tl:dr; the construction crew fucked up repeatedly, the inspectors handwaved everything away, this brand new apartment complex is already fucked up, and our maintenance guy is stuck with the lion's share of the headache because everybody else is deflecting responsibility.

Recipe: Nordic Crispbread with Seeds
The reason why I got Zarya is for long-distance hiking in the Rockies.
The main criteria was to have a dog that didn't need to be evacuated (eg. injuries, medical reasons, anatomical reasons) during the two weeks between resupply points. Nor didn't need to rest up in-between the daily grinds of long treks. Will tolerate both +40 and -40. Yet also biddable enough to be reliable off-leash with good recall. Decided to share some of the old recipes I've had for backpacking. Should be vegan-friendly. CW: food, LCHF Don't know what kind of content warning to put on here. A friend got upset with me sharing because they developed a eating disorder as of the result of the fad diets being predatory towards people's self-image. Basically person said to me "carbs is good for you" while being unaware I came from the rock-climbing communities where we eat a lot of high-carb vegetarian or vegan meals for financial reasons in order to save money to afford equipment and travel. But low-carb high-fat is pretty common amongst endurance athletes to maximize calories in backpacks or fanny packs for long hauls. Without LCHF, we wouldn't be able to keep weight nor muscles on without destroying our own bodies.
Unlike in the diet industry, no one eat LCHF to lose weight but instead to keep weight on. We want the calorie surplus. Muscle loss is a huge issue we want to avoid. Yeah, I eat a lot of carbs at home. Just not on the trails. Apologies for the long-winded content warning.
Anyway, here's the recipe for näkkileipä siemenistä (crispbread with seeds or thin seed bread).
This recipe came from a friend's aunt, and it was originally for maintaining farm labourers and forestry workers.
Here is the original recipe in Finnish from 2015:
2,5 dl kiehuvaa vettä 0,5 dl hyvää öljyä 2 dl maissijauhoja (kelt. pussi) 0,5 dl seesamin siemeniä 0,5 dl pellavan siemeniä 0,5 dl kurpitsan siemeniä 0,5 dl auringonkukansiemeniä Suolaa maun mukaan Sekoita aineet ja levitä leivinpaperille uunipellin päälle mahd. ohueksi (onnistuu hyvin silikonisella nuolijalla) Paista 150 asteessa 1 tunti, jonka jälkeen laita lämpö nollille ja anna olla uunissa vielä jotain 10 minuuttia Kun on vähän jäähtynyt, taittele palasiksi
Here is the translation in English:
Ingredients Canola oil, 2 — 3 Tbsp Corn starch, 2 dL Sesame seed, 0.5 dL Flax seed, 0.5 dL Pumpkin seed, 0.5 dL Sunflower seed, 0.5 dL Water, 2.5 dL Salt Instructions Preheat oven to 150°C. Bring water to a boil and add the oils. Blend the ingredients into a large bowl. Lay down the parchment paper on a baking sheet. Spread the mixture onto the baking sheet. Place into the oven for an hour. Remove from oven and let the batch cools Conversions 1 dL is 100 mL, 0.42 US cup or 3.4 fl. oz 150°C is 302°F
Here's the commentary in English:
Once the crispbread is removed from the oven and cooled down, then one can begin breaking the sheet into smaller pieces into proportion sizes desired for the trip. Personally, I like to divide them into 85 g snack bags. For a heavier meal, feel free to double up on the seeds. Other variations of the crispbread with seed adds flour, however, the volume of water is adjusted. To vary the taste, adding dried cheese, garlic and herbs are not unusual. To even the distribution of the spread, place another parchment paper on top of the mixture and press a rolling pin over it. A nice uniform thickness is desired.
If you appreciate the blog post and or the translation, then feel free to tip.

Banana Cake Orion Bar 7500: A Sweet Blend of Flavor and Convenience
The world of disposable vapes has rapidly evolved, offering an exciting array of flavors and devices that cater to diverse preferences. Among the most popular options is the Banana Cake Orion Bar 7500, a device that promises both a satisfying vape experience and an irresistible flavor. But what makes this particular product stand out? Let’s take a closer look at what the Banana Cake Orion Bar 7500 has to offer.
The Rise of Disposable Vapes
Over the past few years, disposable vapes have become a favorite among vapers due to their convenience, portability, and ease of use. Unlike traditional vape setups that require constant maintenance, refilling, or coil changes, disposable vapes are ready to use right out of the box and can be disposed of once the e-liquid is finished or the battery runs out.
This simplicity has made them especially popular among people who are new to vaping or those who prefer a hassle-free experience. Disposable vapes are also known for their compact size, which allows users to easily carry them around for on-the-go enjoyment.
Introducing the Banana Cake Orion Bar 7500
The Orion Bar 7500 is one of the latest models in the disposable vape category, manufactured by Lost Vape, a well-known brand in the vaping industry. The Orion Bar 7500 boasts a higher puff count compared to many disposable vapes on the market, offering around 7500 puffs per device, which makes it ideal for heavy vapers or those who don’t want to constantly replace their device.
But what really sets the Banana Cake flavor apart is the blend of sweet, ripe bananas and a rich, decadent cake flavor. It’s the perfect combination of fruity and dessert-like sweetness, designed to satisfy cravings for both fruits and baked goods, making it a treat for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Key Features of the Banana Cake Orion Bar 7500
1. Flavor Profile:
The Banana Cake flavor is a rich fusion of creamy banana and soft, fluffy cake with a hint of sweetness. The banana flavor is not overpowering, and the cake-like notes add a smooth, velvety finish. Understanding Basement Moisture Absorbers and Solutions for a Wet Basement
Basements are prone to moisture problems, which can cause serious structural damage, promote mold growth, and affect the overall livability of your home. One of the most effective tools in combating this issue is a basement moisture absorber. If you're dealing with a wet basement, you need reliable methods to not only absorb the moisture but also prevent its recurrence. At Renodry US, we specialize in moisture control solutions for basements, ensuring a dry, safe, and healthy environment in your home.
Common Causes of a Wet Basement
Before diving into solutions, it's crucial to understand the root causes of a wet basement. Identifying these factors helps in choosing the right moisture control strategy.
Poor Drainage: When the soil around your foundation is not properly drained, water can seep through cracks and gaps, leading to moisture buildup in the basement.
Cracks in the Foundation: Structural damage in the foundation often allows water to penetrate.
Condensation: High humidity inside the basement can result in moisture forming on walls and floors, commonly referred to as "sweating walls."
Leaky Windows and Doors: Poorly sealed windows and doors let rainwater in, contributing to basement wetness.
Plumbing Leaks: Leaky pipes or improper drainage inside the home can also cause water to pool in the basement.
How a Basement Moisture Absorber Works
A Basement Moisture Absorber is a tool that draws excess moisture out of the air, preventing it from settling on surfaces where it can lead to mold and mildew growth. Typically, moisture absorbers use desiccant materials like silica gel, calcium chloride, or zeolite. These materials attract moisture from the air and trap it, reducing humidity levels.
The key to choosing the right moisture absorber depends on the size of your basement and the level of moisture present. Larger areas with significant water damage might require industrial-grade absorbers, while smaller, slightly damp basements may only need a portable dehumidifier or moisture absorber bags.
Types of Basement Moisture Absorbers
There are several types of moisture absorbers available, each with different levels of effectiveness for various moisture issues:
Desiccant Moisture Absorbers: These include silica gel or calcium chloride products, which are commonly used for smaller areas with low to moderate moisture problems. They work by attracting and retaining moisture in the air, but they need to be replaced or recharged once saturated.
Dehumidifiers: Dehumidifiers are electrical devices that pull in air, remove its moisture, and release dry air back into the room. They are ideal for larger basements or spaces with high humidity levels. Modern dehumidifiers come with adjustable settings that allow you to maintain optimal humidity levels.
Charcoal Moisture Absorbers: Charcoal or activated carbon is another natural way to absorb moisture and control odors. These are ideal for preventing mold and mildew in smaller, enclosed spaces.
Hydroscopic Salt Absorbers: Hydroscopic salts, such as calcium chloride, are highly effective in extremely humid environments. These salts absorb water from the air and can help in serious basement moisture issues.
Dealing with Persistent Wet Basement Problems
If you find that moisture absorbers are not enough to combat your wet basement issues, it's time to explore more advanced solutions. Here’s how Renodry US can help:
Moisture Detection Systems: We use advanced moisture detection technology to find the exact sources of water intrusion in your basement. Identifying whether the issue is caused by cracks, poor insulation, or drainage issues helps us tailor the best solution for your home.
Wall Sealing: Water can penetrate walls through tiny cracks or porous concrete. At Renodry US, we use specialized sealants designed for basement walls, creating a moisture-resistant barrier that prevents further water intrusion.
Drainage Solutions: Proper drainage systems, such as French drains or sump pumps, ensure water is directed away from your foundation. These systems are essential for homes with chronic water issues in the basement.
Dehumidification Systems: We offer high-performance dehumidifiers designed to handle large basements with high humidity. These systems can be customized to automatically maintain ideal moisture levels.
Electromagnetic Drying System: Our cutting-edge Renodry technology uses electromagnetic pulses to reverse the capillary movement of water in the basement walls. This helps in permanently drying out the walls and keeping them dry over the long term, making it a groundbreaking solution for homes with serious moisture problems.
Preventing Future Basement Wetness
Once your Basement Wet is dry, it's important to take steps to prevent future moisture problems. Here are some preventive measures:
Improve Ventilation: Proper ventilation helps to regulate humidity levels in the basement, reducing the chances of condensation forming on walls and floors.
Gutter Maintenance: Ensure your gutters and downspouts are clean and directing water far away from your foundation. Clogged gutters can cause water to pool around your house, eventually seeping into the basement.
Insulate Pipes: Condensation often forms on cold water pipes. Insulating them can help prevent water from dripping and collecting on the basement floor.
Use a Humidity Monitor: Regularly check your basement’s humidity levels using a hygrometer. Maintaining humidity levels between 30-50% is ideal for preventing moisture issues.

recipe for a delicious orange goop
I was doing some kitchen experiments this evening and one came out so delicious I had to actually write down the recipe before I forgot. and then it occurred to me that I could share it, so if anyone is interested: Pumpkin And Beef Stew.
Much like any stew recipe, this is a template and not a rulebook. Anything except the salt, water, and oil can be substituted, with the caveat that I cannot guarantee your end result if you deviate too far. This recipe is entirely lactose and gluten free, provided you use gluten free soy sauce/flour. It will require one stockpot, one plate or bowl, one stirring implement, and potentially a knife and cutting board if you are not buying things pre-chopped.
Time spent actively cooking: 20-40 minutes depending again on chopping Total time: about 2.5 hours Cleanup: minimal Serves: Probably 3 as written
Ingredients:
1 bag frozen japanese pumpkin/kabocha, or equivalent fresh
About a pound of beef chunks for stew (or a small package as sold in the store in your measurement of choice)
Half an onion, chopped
Handful of carrot. You could also probably cut up a single mid-size carrot but I used the shaved kind because it was conveniently in a bag
Mushroom broth, one carton (or diy)
Liberal amounts of red wine for deglazing and also taste
Spices/herbs to taste (I used: premade italian mix, powdered mustard, dried thyme but fresh would be better, medium amount of garlic, bay leaves)
SMALL amount of: gluten-free soy sauce, worcestershire sauce (seriously I barely splashed both in and it was the correct amount. probably a tablespoon each? maybe less)
Salt, pepper, chickpea flour (for browning the beef. type of flour doesn't matter and can also be omitted entirely)
vegetable oil or similar (I use grapeseed. I tend to avoid olive oil for frying/sauteing since it burns at a lower temperature but also we're not cooking with excessive heat here, use your own judgement)
water as needed
STEP ONE Add salt, pepper, and powdered mustard to the beef chunks, then dust with chickpea flour. Heat oil in the stock pot at medium, then brown beef chunks on two sides, flipping when the chunks no longer stick to the bottom of the pot. Remove promptly.
STEP TWO Deglaze with red wine, add a bit more oil if necessary, then add the onion. You could caramelize the onions probably but there's not really a point because they will dissolve either way, just get them translucent
STEP THREE Add frozen pumpkin (or not frozen if you're feeling industrious. Chop it though), carrot, and garlic. Stir it regularly & keep an eye on it, this step shouldn't take long — just enough for the pumpkin chunks to defrost and start to fall apart a little.
STEP FOUR Add the whole carton of broth, soy & worcestershire sauce, more red wine, and all remaining seasonings. Bit more salt to taste. You can throw the browned meat back in at this stage also. All ingredients should be submerged. Bring to a boil, and then reduce heat and cover.
STEP FIVE Slow cook the bastard on very low heat for at least two hours. Keep an eye on the liquid levels and stir occasionally because it will burn given the opportunity; add water as necessary. A little bit of browning on the bottom improves the flavor imo but if it burns it will be Bad.
STEP SIX You now have delicious orange goop. Where did the pumpkin rinds go? I certainly don't know. Remove the bare thyme stems and bay leaves. You can eat it as is or put it on bread or rice or mashed potato.
I will probably try adding mushrooms next time. I don't think chicken would work as well for both taste and textural reasons (though it would serve in a pinch) but other red meats or pork would probably also be delicious. You could absolutely make it vegetarian and/or vegan by substituting out the meat and worcestershire sauce, but if you do this I definitely recommend the mushrooms and also a big spoonful of miso, or some equivalent source of savory flavor and umami. You could also substitute the seasoning profile to your preference; this would be delicious with garam masala for instance.
No idea if it freezes well and it will remain a mystery because it is not going to last long enough to find out.

If you're scratching your head, wondering, "How much does a concrete driveway cost?" let's take a stroll together through these six approachable steps. 1. Size And Layout: Bigger Isn't Always Better While a sprawling driveway might sound impressive, it'll also make a heavier dent in your wallet. Grab a tape measure, chalk out the dimensions, and think about its design. A straightforward path might be easy on the purse, but a winding one, though charming, will cost a tad more. Also, ponder the thickness; more depth equals more dollars. 2. Quality Matters: The Concrete Story The quality of the concrete you will be using for your driveway plays an important role in understanding the question— how much does a concrete driveway costs. There's concrete, and then there's concrete. The difference in quality is like comparing boxed wine to a vintage bottle. Sure, cheaper options can be tempting, but a driveway isn't just for a season—it's a long-haul commitment. A tad more spent on superior concrete can save you a bundle in the "oops, need to fix that" scenarios later on. 3. Skilled Hands: Your Trusty Craftsmen While we're all for DIY projects, a driveway probably isn't the best place to start experimenting. Yes, professional services can push up the "cement driveway cost", but think about the perfection and peace of mind you're buying into. Opt for pros with solid reputations; it'll save you from those future facepalms. 4. Personal Touches: Spice It Up! If a basic driveway feels too vanilla for your taste, why not jazz it up? Stamped patterns, tints, or textures can transform your driveway from drab to fab. But remember, like that extra shot of espresso, these customizations will bump up the bill. 5. Tlc For Your Driveway: The Care Chronicles Concrete might seem like the Superman of materials, but even the Man of Steel had his kryptonite. Regular upkeep is crucial. And while reaching for that bag of salt or a chemical de-icer in winter might seem instinctual, let's chat about the dark side: - The Erosion Episode: Salt can chew away at your driveway, leading to unsightly pits and dips. - The Stain Saga: Those chemicals? They're notorious for leaving behind marks that scream "Look at me!" - The Green Gaffe: Chemical residues can make their sneaky way into our environment, causing harm we might not even see. 6. Chill Out, Ice: Embracing Safe Thaw Enter Safe Thaw, the eco-friendly knight in shining armor for those frosty mornings. Forget corrosive salts or chlorides. Safe Thaw's gentle, yet potent, formula ensures your driveway remains unscathed, all while being kind to Mother Nature.
