Was es zum 20. Jubiläum im Park der Gärten zu entdecken gibt (Bad Zwischenahn)

Am 22. April startet die Saison 2023 mit Naturerlebnissen an 170 Tagen

Ein unvergessliches Naturerlebnis an 170 Tagen: Am 22. April 2023 startet der Park der Gärten – die Gartenschau in Bad Zwischenahn – nicht nur in die neue, sondern auch ganz besondere Parksaison.

Bad Zwischenahn

Just to be clear Bad means spa not bad. I know some followers really do follow what I write rather than just look at the pix so here is a rundown on my Saturday. (I’ll write about Sunday tomorrow.)

The morning went fine. There were about thirty delegates and they all arrived on time for a briefing from Chris and Richard about their two weeks in the States and their discussions with various new aides and MAGA advisors. So as a trade war was starting and Trump is saying there would be no problem if Canada was the 51st state (very Anschluss in my opinion) and Rubio was threatening Panama we had a depressed bunch of European advisors and aides discussing how Europe would likely react. Clear sentiment in the room – US no longer trustworthy and Europe has to look to itself and forging new trade alliances. China most likely beneficiary, US most likely the loser.

Lunch went well, me still in my professional length black skirt and respectable blouse. Chatted with the delegates on my table. There were some new ones there who were tricked by the ones I knew already into thinking I was just staff and then I came out with an up to date analysis of stuff and the ones who knew me were rolling around at the faces on the newbies.

So the afternoon was largely briefings on Ukraine at a level I don’t have clearance for, and the coffee break was being sorted by the venue, so I went off to the venue’s spa with Vari. I love spas, we had a bit of a swim and then to the sauna. As this is Germany and not the UK the sauna was a nude event. Sure there was a woman in a towel but Vari and I went sky clad and one other woman and a couple of guys were also.

Vari was looking really hot as she got a sweat on and she edged very close to me until she whispered that her bi curiosity was getting the best of her and what about a shower and a swim. Vari lives in North London so is not that local to us but I have promised to introduce her to the central London haunts of mine that she doesn’t know. She tells me she is on a journey and doesn’t know what the end station is. It is enough to live the journey she says. I can go with that although my journeys have been pretty dark in the past it would be nice to journey with Vari for a while.

Jonah ist ein Junge by Mikah Rose

Britische Wissenschaftler haben herausgefunden, länger leben die Menschen, die gerne aufs Wasser schauen. In August beginnt meine Bade- und Lesesaison im Norden. Das Weinfest am Meer ist mittlerweile eine feste Instanz im Bad Zwischenahner Veranstaltungskalender und damit nicht mehr wegzudenken. Bereits zum vierten Mal verwandelt sich die Terrasse hinter der Wandelhalle in einen Ort, an dem alle Liebhaber des „vergorenen Traubensaftes“ zwei unvergessliche Abende in bezaubernder Atmosphäre am Zwischenahner Meer genießen können.
