Honestly when the day this chapt is out comes I'm seriously considering popping a champagne cuz it's taking so long it feels like a damn holiday

Snarky jokes appart, I'm really anxious to finish this! Plus, I'm already itching for the chapt after this one, so I went to check the comic's script and WOW. It changed a lot! Also it's bigger, has so many interactions that aren't even written down anywhere and a lot of deleted chapters.

There are some things that don't need to be written to be told and it's so fun to see them unraveling in the details.

Anyway, backgrounds

No matter how wobbly they might look for me sometimes, I just love drawing random forms or anything that's just a lot of scribbles on top of the other if you look closely (I just googled it and found out you call it hatch drawing).

If I could, I'd draw everything this way. Still practicing though, and it's easier to do it as rocks/trees and other stuff. The best one I managed until now is that cave ceiling up there and the first WIP I posted. Honestly I don't even know how did I pull that out, it's just- I didn't even do any lineart or shading for it, but the scribbles made the cave's form, depth and angle so clear. It's so cool and I want to master it someday 🫡

I did try it before in BBE (very few of them looked nice) and I did it a lot in a previous one 'Haloween scare run!' . That comic is A TOTAL MESS. But eh, I like it

This panel is complicated, the trees are cool in the background but there's a lot of info and it's a bit confusing. Wait

Anyway, I'm putting a lot of myself in this chapter as you can see, and drawing it slowly is just as fun as it is unsettling XD (I want to finish ittt raaah)

The second part of this chapt is being a real interesting challenge. Backgrounds always stump me, and simulating a dark settings is something I've never done before. I'm drawing it in a different way than before and running around after a lot of references. To make it short, this part of the chapt is being really fun to draw!

I think you noticed that I change art styles a lot in this comic. Sometimes it gets on my nerves, but the truth is that this is being my biggest challenge and the most interesting thing I've done with my drawings. It takes a lot of time, especially when I had to go through some damn hard times last year and rebuild my entire life this year, but discovering new things while drawing it is what gets me going. When I say that this is the best part of my days, I'm dead serious. Also, I have an original story that I want to publish in the future and Baby Effect has been helping me to train and evolve to make it real some day. That's why this is so immensely important to me and no matter how long it takes, I'll always be drawn back to this work.

God I can't wait to post this.

I'm so relieved that all the released chapters are uploaded 🥹 and! The next chapter is already in progress, so here it goes a little synopsis of what's to come

In this chapter, Luffy, Usopp and Zoro go find something to do in Papola before they set sail. Of course, Zoro gets lost and Sanji has to bring his ass back at night. It's gonna be their first moment alone for real so start making your bets! Heheh

The next chapter is one of my favs and I've been talking about it since I wrote it's script a year ago lol it's an important chapter 😌 I hope you like it when it's out and send me questions anytime you want ♡ Meanwhile, I'm gonna post my other comics "Halloween Scare run!" and "Kuina".
