New BYOBlorbo Planner Spread. If anyone wants it, I'll get it formatted for others to use and get it up on the drive.
#why did i spend most of the day on this#how did i spend most of the day on this#i like it though#my last spread took the chore list out and turns out that was NOT helpful for me#but it had a lot of journaling spaces that was#so now we have both#planner spread#BYOBlorbo Planner#the washi tape's going to take forever but eh. it boosts the aesthetics

Okay! Done!
We've got the cover:
Malroth sticker by @vidramon! Possum sticker by @sergle (a gift from @absolute---nonsense and @annasellheim). Ingo and Emmet by me. Legend of Zelda sticker from a pack chewing gum nearly as old as I am.
On to the pages!
The base of this planner is a 10x7 sketchbook and it turns out if you take 8.5" paper and layer them with 1/4" offset, you can get exactly 7 of them in a 10" space. So that's lucky!
It works out so you can navigate to a week's worth of pages on any given spread with navigation dates on the page edges. (Those are the bitches I had to hand write)
I also had to punch all of the days of the week separately to achieve the offset and then re-sort them to be in order, but hopefully it'll be worth it.
We also have daily art, relaxation, and personal growth prompts, randomly selected from lists I set up; a space for a blorbo to brighten my day (every day has a different picture); journal space, and a status/mood tracker.
Then we have month spreads from January to June:
60 pages of Pen & Ink sketchbook pages:
Some pages of cardstock for sticking sticky notes to:
They're a 1/2" shorter than the width of the book so I can put adhesive page tabs on them for navigation.
Annnnnnd a pocket that is probably too small to be of any real use:
I still want to add a list of January/February goals to the inside of the front cover and a list of chores routines to the inside of the back.
I'm working on a pretty ambitious new planner set up and I've eliminated a lot shit that tends to make my planners fail (overly specific sections, not able to plan enough ahead, redundant sections, no enough or too much space for spare info, difficult/slow to navigate, overly difficult set-up that feels like busy work).
But I've found, after printing everything, that I still have to write the date in it roughly 240 times. And that's driving me insane.
I mean, I'm sure can figure out how to fix it for the next one but GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Things I'm working on this weekend:
Daily planner template (using @keepchangingandneverstop's BYOBlorbo planner!)
One of those calendar... thingies... that you don't replace year after year (it just has the months on different pages and each day is a separate line with space to pencil in birthdays and anniversaries and whatnot...do those have a name? IDK!).
Playing Digimon Survive (lol)
#mostly being lazy and looking for hq pics for no. 2#and stuff from previous calendars#combine all fave calendar pics to make the UBER-CALENDAR!#the cactus speaks

Here’s the OpenOffice Spreadsheet for it, if you want it: BYOBlorbo Planner
It’s set up to print double sided and has enough inner margin space for most binding options
Day 12 - New Mega Chore Side Bar + New Planner Layout. This one works way better than having the chores at the bottom.

So, I hadn’t considered a perpetual event calendar before your post, but it sounded fantastic, so I ended up making one, as well as a 2023 double spread calendar.
And they’re both up on the drive now! BYOBlorbo Planner
The 2023 calendar has blank front page for ease of printing. The margins are extra wide so you can put washi tape on the page edges.
And also, @citrus-cactus, please let me know if there’s a problem with the fonts in the planner itself. If need be, I’ll track down all the custom fonts I used and make a list of links to them.
