Here's something i drew really quick!!! heavily inspired by @buwheal's spamton design ^_^

i'm really happy with how the lighting turned out!! i used an overlay layer to add a gradient across the piece, which i'm hoping makes the light source look more blue and the shadows more red ^-^

OKAY LET ME GIVE IT A SHOT

Spamton is trying to impress us, right? Bu said he won’t eat scraps in front of us... and in another ask, someone asked if the rain was messing with his hair dye, and he tried to play it off, before giving up and going off screen to try to fix it. He also wears mascara, even though we never saw him interact with anybody else.

The puppet drawing made him spiral not only because it reminded him of his traumatic past, but also because it exaggerated the things he hates about his appearance (and he projects that self hatred onto us). Back when he was a big shot, he was an important person, he had success, fame, money... I think that now that he lost everything, the only thing he can still try to use to get our approval is his appearance. It’s also one of the very few things he can still control.

I have legitimately never posted on Tumblr, so I don't know what the hell I'm doing. I don't really like this piece, but I spent hours on it, so I'm posting it. This is my first time using my art tablet in years. This was most definitely inspired by @buwheal's SNeo design ! <3

@buwheal i had this dream where you answered this ask that was like "Spamton did you know that people still love you even after you kind of went down the drain? People literally rave about you on the internet" and in the dream you replied with a now happy Spamton reading the the email and he's like "well I knew some dedicated fans sent me fanmail" and he like opens up this box and its full of like letters that are to him and he continues to be all like "but I didn't know that like half the internet still loved me" and so he begins to dig around a bunch of garbage in his dumpster and pulls out a kind of worn out red suit and he like sighs I think and goes "this is the old suit I used to wear in my commercials and such...i kept it for a long time" and then he just jumps in his dumpster and like puts it on or whatever and he comes out wearing the thing and says "now knowing that the people still love me even after all these years gives me hope...I'm gonna try to get back up on my feet and be a [[BIG SHOT]]" and it just ended there but he looked so happy and just it made me cry I woke up in a cold sweat the second it ended and so here I am I just grabbed my phone the second I woke up to write I am tired help me the dream was so wholesome
