“You know I don’t like surprises.” He said as you walked behind him with your hands over his eyes. It was difficult given your height difference but he had initially refused to keep his eyes shut. “I know Bruce, but trust me, ok?” He sighed, and you smiled knowing he was now resigned to your plan. “I have to move, keep your eyes shut.” You said finally removing your hands and moving around him, making sure his eyes were shut as you moved to the closet nearby where his present was.

You knew he probably heard the puppies little whine when you picked it up, hell he had probably already figured out your ‘surprise’ days ago knowing him, but you smiled as he at least played along; keeping his eyes shut as you approached him with the puppy in your arms. Playing along or not the look on his face when you told him to open his eyes was priceless. “Bruce, meet Ace.”

it's a bouquet of lilies that prompto hands to serah, doing his best to ignore his sweating palms and blushing face. ❝ i got these. for you! for valentine's day! ❞ in truth, he'd spent far too much time staring at the flowers, trying to figure out which ones looked the healthiest and prettiest to his untrained eye. he could only hope that he chose well. ❝ i thought it might be fun to do something today. with you? together! ❞ his cheeks were burning. no matter how many times he'd practiced in front of the mirror, he still couldn't quite get his words right. ❝ uh–––– as long as you also want to! ❞ love , @crackshots

❛ oh ! prompto ! ❜ she looks to him with gentle eyes and surprised spirit ; she's delighted to see him , truly . she hadn't expected such a warm welcome from him , awkward as though it may be . she is too , and she loves that about him . all goofy smiles and ungraceful tendencies . . . what's not to be adored ?

and then he holds out the flowers , and immediately does a rose pink dust her cheeks , now matching the soft pigment of her hair , and she covers her mouth with her finger as she smiles , shifting her waist as she repositions the weight at her feet . ❛ really , you shouldn't have . ❜ but considering she got him something as well , perhaps he should have . he's certainly avoided her disappointment ( and expectation ) of receiving nothing .

fingers fold over his as she takes the bouquet in her other hand and she leans forward with a confidence boost , ❛ of course ! and thank you . ❜ and she's already pulling him along to who - knows - where . ❛ have anything in mind ? i've been craving the sea's bounty risotto from galdin quay ! ❜ a brief pause , so he doesn't feel forgotten about , ❛ and when we're done at the beach , we can head to my place ! i have something for you , but no guessing . it's a surprise ! ❜ she winks and turns her head in the direction of their now shared pace .

i’m gonna cry it’s raining right now and i just passed by a family where both parents were without an umbrella but their kid who couldn’t have been older than like 3-4 was proudly holding this GIANT umbrella whose diameter was as tall (if not taller) as the kid. both the parents were getting absolutely drenched but u could tell the kid was just so happy to have an “adult” task and carry the umbrella themselves and i think that sacrifice is what love is all about

my prof just explained on the syllabus that he’s included more points in the class than we needed to pass, so we could skip up like?? 20 small assignments/quizzes/participation!! and still get a very high grade!!

the idea was that we could focus on assignments that played to our strengths - only do the participation stuff if we like to talk out loud - only do the quizzes/readings if we want to do the class remotely - only do online discussions if we like to talk and share opinions but struggle with anxiety in class ect.

and that’s cool enough but then he pulled up DnD character sheets with drawings he’d done of these hypothetical student player classes and how our various accessibility needs could be gamified to ‘max out’ different aspects of the class to get high grades and like!!!!!

hell yeah!!!! let’s treat accessibility in higher education not just as a necessity but as the fun, engaging, and creative aspect of learning that it is!!! I love this!!
