i’m gonna cry it’s raining right now and i just passed by a family where both parents were without an umbrella but their kid who couldn’t have been older than like 3-4 was proudly holding this GIANT umbrella whose diameter was as tall (if not taller) as the kid. both the parents were getting absolutely drenched but u could tell the kid was just so happy to have an “adult��� task and carry the umbrella themselves and i think that sacrifice is what love is all about

everyone always commenting on how sweet percy is for dropping super romantic comments about annabeth, or their cutest moments together and funniest convos. and don’t get me wrong, i’m just as much a sucker for those as you guys are

but for me, it’s the little things that show how much he loves her that makes me so obsessed with them. like in chalice of the gods, he borrows her hat to complete the quest and afterwards, he puts it back to her size for her. it’s such a small thing to do - something annabeth likely won’t even notice - but it’s so effortlessly thoughtful. not to mention that despite how rushed he was when he put it on, he paid attention to what size it was for her much smaller head.

annabeth is a strong, determined, intimidating - many even say scary - young woman. and percy knows that better than anyone. but like… he takes care of her. he takes cares of her in both big ways and little ways that no one ever has for her, i just- UGHHHGH

James who one day has a smudge on his glasses

They’re usually pretty clean, it’s the one thing he keeps up on (to see, yk?)

But he’s talking to Regulus and suddenly Regulus is staring at one of his eyes and James is kind of concerned and confused a little lost in Regulus’s pretty eyes on him

And then Reg just grabs his glasses, cleans them on his robe, and slides them back on his face (positioned perfectly, might I add)

James who begins to purposely get things on his glasses

Dust, food, mud — one time he purposely dumped a bag of flour over his head (and walked around blindly till Regulus grabbed him, cleaned his glasses, and left the rest of the flour).

Just so Reg will look at him, so he can feel his fingertips brush James’s face when he takes hold of the glasses, just so he can see that amused little smirk.

And yes, Regulus catches on. It’s quite obvious, in true James Potter fashion.

But he doesn’t say anything, doesn’t call him out. He just keeps cleaning those glasses. Cuz it makes them both happy.

i’ve obviously been doing this to myself. i’m purposefully choosing the fattiest foods, looking hard for items with the most calories possible—i’ve expanded my capacity to the point normal-sized meals leave me hungry at the end.

so why am i scared of what it’s doing to me..? i’m actively looking for shower stools because it’s getting too hard to shave and stand for that long. i have to carefully consider what shoes i’m wearing because it’s getting difficult to bend over and put them on, never mind getting out at the end of the day… i’m struggling more and more to get in and out of my car too, low vehicles are a nightmare but i have to heave myself up to get into a truck 🥲

in public, my tits aren’t the only thing people stare at now.. every part of me has grown so much in just the last month. my belly wobbles with every movement, my arms fight for space with my chest and i can’t even cross them anymore.

i put on 15lbs in february—the differences when you’re already over 300lbs are both amazing and terrifying
