So there's Cassie walking and a line of almost 400 Minis follow her like ducklings. Good luck getting close to her without being swarmed (unless you're Roxy.)

393 Minis, plus DJ and Roxy is 395 members of the Spider Army.

Roxy shows up one day with this traumatised child like "can we keep her?" and they all start having flashbacks. Their sad wet beast of a dog just brought home an equally sad wet child. It's easier this time cause they've probably met Cassie a few times already due to her close proximity with Roxy, but how does this keep happening???

They let her keep the child of course. They've not once ever been able to say no to Roxy, this is no different. Cassie is almost immediately absorbed into the tidal wave of robot spiders and she loves it about as much as Roxy did lmao

The Spider Army is now 396 members strong!

On another note, I have a setup in my head I'm using a lot at the moment where Roxy recharges Barney the Wood Duck (Foxy's animatronic bird companion. Not a parrot because I wanted something different, ya know?) so she's here now too. It wasn't her plan to do this, but she got attached to Barney remarkably quickly and thus, maybe months before this Cassie situation, she was asking the Spider Army if they could keep Barney as well.

So now I'm imagining her holding Cassie up to them with her puppy dog eyes that always work asking if they can keep her, while the Minis agree... But this is the last one, okay? No more little guys! She's got enough already! They can't keep every little guy that happens to be very very sad near them! She's gotta stop with the little guys now!

Anyway!!! Cassie could not be more protected. If you hurt any of them, they will find you. Roxy and DJ might not have the power to actually kill, but there's 393 Minis. You're telling me none of them could do it? Ha! I'm guessing at least fifty could do it. Literally anyone walks in that could be a risk to Cassie is getting physically walled off from her. Several stacks of spiders in a row between them and Cassie and the rest are beginning to appear in the shadows all around them. It's only a matter of time before they swarm and take them away... Or get Roxy.

Nsjdjdi one of them running off to Roxy like "hey we got a problem. That guy that hurt Cassie is back. We're dealing with it, but can you take Cassie somewhere else please? Just in case? She'll want you by her side if anything happens." And whole Roxy would normally rush to get rid of the guy, she nods, wishes them good luck and tells them where she's taking Cassie. The Spider Army will deal with it. She trusts them implicitly.

And they always bring back the best stories of what went down so more than happy to let them take care of it lmao

“ does the child linger out of fear, as well? ” there is something goading to her tone as she calls back to him, nearing a bit dangerously towards mocking, but holding back enough to maintain a sense of polite company. she holds out her hand, watching as a bead of rain pools at the top of the cave's entrance, growing bigger until it drops and falls onto the center of her palm. “ hm…. how odd, ” she muses without thinking, a quiet voice no louder than a whisper, as she takes note of the sensation – strange, this foreign feeling. it is not reminiscent of how she remembers fresh rainfall when she was alive. perhaps it is the promise of something new replacing the old and withered which taints the experience, colors it something darker and more ominous. it hits, now, a bit too close to home.
