The fact Chuuya calls Akutagawa "my boy Akutagawa" is not only sweet on his part but also SALTY towards Dazai?

Like Chuuya saw this kid getting treated like that by Dazai and decided "no no no, HE'S MINE"

The background friendship of Akutagawa and Chuuya will always be heartwarming to me. And this is completely in character for Chuuya, he has shown affection to Kenji, Elise and Q (in the manga, anthology, official arts, etc.)

Sure Atsushi can be Dazai's favourite, but Akutagawa is Chuuya's, always.

I bought this print from @anyanary on their etsy and it came out earlier than expected i waited until christmas to open it as a gift from me to me, it's so stunning that i put it on my wall , even the cat was a fan.

I have another one!!! Aaaaaaa! Okay so Dazai says one time “Do you want to stay like this?” And it can be interpreted literally as to staying in the position (they’re almost cuddling) or as staying in this situation of fake dating so that Chuuya could get the feeling of really being loved for longer. Help why do I do this to myself?? I think I like interpreting text really deeply way too much, u get me?

I am going insane over a random dialogue I wrote because I didn’t know what else to put. And yeah I kinda over interpreted it that it got a whole bunch of meaning now and I’m sad because I can’t openly write that in the fic, so I’m telling you here.

Context: This is a fake dating scenario that plays in the double black era. Dazai visits Chuuya’s house and his parents for the first time as his fake boyfriend and Chuuya made jobs up so he doesn’t give away that they are in the mafia.

Chuuya adds “for personal reasons” after he explains to Dazai that he told his parents they don’t see each-other all the time because of their jobs. He does this because he doesn't want his fake relationship to be more intimate than his hopefully real one. He wants to separate them and keep the being close part to himself, he wants it to stay special/sacred and private to the two.

Of course this will be up to your own interpretation once I publish, but for now I’m headcannoning this as the reason why he said that. Thanks for listening!! Have a great day or night, take care <3
