AHHHHHH OMGOMG I FINISHED INDULGENCE AND I'M OBSESSED!!! im in love with the way you write and that scene with sabrina was actually SO emotional when all she could think about in her last moments was jake ☹️☹️ and the way dr lee died?? omg like i know there were so many victims and 106 is CRAZY (le sserafim mentioned⁉️) but her one hit HARD because the reader has already sort of formed a connection with her from the previous parts and i really did grow to like her character. honestly idk if it was intended to be that way but jake walking down covered in blood and just being like "dad im hungry" was a little funny to me 😭 but it also really just shows how desensitised he had become to murder and gore, and sunghoon exposing him to all of it and letting him watch his own snuff films as a child is SICK.
i also really enjoyed the concept of sunghoon reminiscing about the past murders while being interrogated, the shifts between past and present were so intriguing and i loved every bit of it. there's so much depth to the fic considering the fact it's relatively short and it makes me want to reread it and just spend my time picking the layers apart and really getting into every nook of it, you did a great job!!
(im sorry for how long this is i just have so much to say and i have even more thoughts that i haven't put down here to save you the trouble of reading a whole ass essay but indulgence was a work of art and i love you for writing it 😣💕)
NEVER apologize for sending me long asks about my fics I LOVE THAT SHIT!!!!!! i need to know EVERYTHING!!!!!!!
sabrina is actually like one of my favorite characters no bs. she loved her son so much… she’s probably turning in her grave like sunghoon said FHSHDJDHDHSHSJ maybe i’m mentally ill i’m definitely mentally ill also the way that she was “weak” which is smth he doesn’t like about women and yet he still felt strongly about her… the first and only woman to make him go soft. but the most romantic part ever was the fact that she told him she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him, and in the sickest way possible, sunghoon made her wish come true… i felt like shakespeare when i did that idk. #LLS 💔🕊️
when i had to act like i didn’t know that the reason that the mc in the first 2 stories vs the mc in the last are different people is because dr. lee fucking died fhdjfhjdkfjddf the jake thing wasn’t intended to be funny but if you laughed i get it bc there’s parts of the stories that crack me up too. half the interrogation makes me giggle 😭😭😭 now that you point it out tho, it IS kinda funny. like i’m picturing it and kekeing. what’s hilarious TO ME is that jake is desensitized from watching all the snuff until he sees the one of his mom and then he literally crashes out and starts spiraling dhshfssgsh
anyways im super happy you liked it 🥹🥹🥹🥹like i said donotDoNotnotnot EVER hold yourself back from sending me long asks i looooveeee et i swear. literally makes my whole day

As a poc who grew up in the middle east and have family in the middle east and have experienced know the impact of islamaphobia my take on m.c is definelity complicated. He should not have made the comments on the denial of genocide 100% and I'm glad he deleted those tweets hopefully because he understood it was wrong and not simply due to backlash. And I do believe that's the main part that he should be held accountable with
I do think misha has a emotional stake with family/ friends that are Jewish that probably has strong opinions and is also giving out information, working and helping with Ukraine, having the chance to talk to President of Ukraine abt the war, etc whilst Ukraine is still allies with Israel. I do see how that would have influenced his opinion on isreal and Palestine.
I think what's not stopping me from my support or whatever is in general I believe in the intentions and I just don't see the malicious intent. When reading his article it was very pro anti war and very attempted neutral on both parts, made sure to condemn only hammas and not the Palestinian ppl, humanising the Palestinian ppl. (Which is not special take but I do think when america talk abt middle east and war they usually talk about the humans (women are forced to wear hijab and have no rights! Which yea bs) and not talk specifically about the terrorist groups) so I do think that part was crucial and important. I also can appreciate that he replied to a person against islamaphobia in one of his replies. And in his substack which now has 106 comments the majority is in support of Palestine and there's links being shared about either genocide or more information that's currently happening in Palestine so for ppl looking to get informed there's links. So I do appreciate that the comments are not being filtered. And perhaps I am being too generous or looking at cup half full perspective but the positive part that I do see in this is that m.c main fanbase will also be other white fans who when going to look for his article they are being exposed to information.and is also learning if they haven't.
Idk like should he have written an article? No. But he has, and I'm glad he said this part
" Israel has a right to defend itself against terrorism, but when Israel does so by committing atrocities and war crimes of its own, then it defends itself without moral authority and only further entrenches both sides in an interminable conflict where there are no “good guys” and there will be no “winner.”
Like again I'm glad when he's talking negatively about Palestine he specifically talks about hammas and in then in general terms isreal commiting war crimes. I just think it's important that for his fanbase that probably consists of white fanbase that is already been fed from the western media that it is important that it was neutral and humanisation of the Palestinian ppl
And again maybe because I have been in the spn fandom and have been exposed to gishwishes. Allowing them to pay medical bills, and other good things, his open support if the lgbt community I do have a soft spot and perhaps I'm looking at this in rose tinted glasses but i genuinely am not seeing the malicious or hateful intent when talking about the isreal/ Palestine that I see when others talk I.e piers Morgan etc . what I do condem is his comments on genocide and the denial of it so I'm glad those got deleted quick, hopefully because he understood that was just wrong. And he needs to address that. But yea in general I suppose the support is still there,
I read this as soon as I got it and thought, "I'll definitely answer it," so thank you, anon. I value your input on this.
First, you're totally entitled to your feelings and thoughts about him and his words. My intention is never to tell others how to react; I'm just very vocal about what I think.
I can understand your position. I'm not Muslim, and I'm not from the Middle East, but I'm a POC (basically half indigenous and half colonizer) in Latin America, and we, too, share a very dark history with imperialism from the USA and his son Israel but maybe it's a bit more invisible here.
That's why I'm so radical and unforgiving about privileged people's stances regarding colonization and genocide. To me it's not enough that he says he wants peace, that the bare minimum and the least we can expect from someone like him. I don't see how having family and friends who are Jewish is an impediment to understanding what is going on in Palestine when many Jewish people go out to the streets to claim they're 100% against occupation and don't support a Jewish Estate. Zionists want to make us believe they are the eternal victims, and Misha decided to go with that. In his statement he mentioned the Holocaust several times but he fails to see that Israel is doing the same to Palestinians right now. "Well, they have committed some war crimes, but it's not a real genocide like the Jewish one." Ugh, disgusting. There's no coming back from that in my opinion.
Like I've said, we as fans have given him the benefit of the doubt more than once, for both little and bigger things. Knowing his intentions are "good" isn't enough for me anymore. He's been in politics for decades; he's always doing political activism, so he's not particularly ignorant. He's not your average dumb American, and he has followers from all over the world. I expect(ed) a lot of him, because he put himself in that position from the start. I've been a fan for over a decade, and I even did gishwhes three years in a row, so yes, it's not easy to just say goodbye to all that overnight. But I'm being true to myself, and so I have to walk away.
Whatever path you follow on all this, whether it's the same as now or it changes, I send you my support, stay strong and you can write to me whenever you want <3

i'm... really not sure how to feel about jiaoqiu's kit
to put it simply he's like—a reverse gui? his basic is single target while his skill is a blast; both can apply a stackable vulnerability debuff (up to 5 times) "roast the ashes". i'll just call it "roast". it lasts for 2 turns. his skill also applies it which theoretically means his skill should apply 2 roast stacks? but not sure
his ult is a whole fucking deal because it's tied to his talent. (cost: 100, LOW) the wording is weird, so i could be wrong but i'll try to work my way through it so i understand
"sets roast to the highest number of stacks present on the battlefield". i'm assuming this means that the highest stack of roast will be transferred to all enemies—for example, if there are two enemies inflicted with roast, one with 1 stack and the other with 3, then after using his ult both enemies will be set to 3 roast stacks.
he then sets up a field and deals fire dmg to all enemies (aoe). while the field is up enemies will take more ult damage and have a chance to be inflicted with roast on their turn. field lasts for 3 turns and counts down on his turns.
his traces make it so that, while the field is up, a) enemies ehr is reduced by 30%, b) they take some damage based on jiaoqiu's atk during their turn (so a pseudo-burn), and c) any enemies that enter the battle while the field is up will be inflicted with the highest stacks of roast on the battlefield (similar to the above example).
his last trace gives him 60% atk for every 15% of ehr that exceeds 80% which stacks up to 4 times—basically he gets 240% atk at a max of 140% ehr
his sig lc gives 60% ehr and can apply another vulnerability debuff. hitting an enemy already inflicted with the lc debuff can "escalate" the debuff to a stronger one.
traces: 28% ehr, 4.4% fire dmg boost, 5 spd
summary is that he inflicts roast any time he hits an enemy. ult sets up a field that keeps roast at the max stack. while the ult is up enemies will also take a pseudo dot during their turn. gameplay would revolve around getting roast stacks up and consistently launching his ult to make sure his field isn't dispelled.
(the rest is personal thoughts and ranting lol)
to expand on my previous statement, he's like a reverse gui—jiaoqiu's main function is to apply a debuff and his secondary function is to deal damage with a pseduo-dot. little gui's main function is to apply a dot and her secondary function is to apply a debuff.
he's also kind of similar to black swan—they have that similar trace, although BS only needs 120% ehr for a dmg buff while jiaoqiu needs 140% ehr for an atk buff. his ult's field is like BS's trace that can inflict arcana when an enemy enters battle. the difference is that BS's is a passive that's always up while jiaoqiu requires his ult's field.
in theory his kit sounds okay. if anything he sounds like a PF unit with the "enemies that enter battle while the field is up" bit. one of my main problems is his traces that give him spd (5 total)... but his base spd is 98. without any spd gear he's at 103 which is already what most supports run at (gui is base 106 spd). there's no reason for him to be as slow as a dps when he's meant to be a support and AT MOST a sub-dps.
the other part i'm not sure about is that his kit kind of has an identity crisis, especially when you look at his e2. at e0 he's an aoe debuffer that supports ult-focused units (ex. acheron and argenti)... but he has a lot of personal damage baked into his kit. his e2 considers his pseudo-dot to be a dot so all of a sudden he becomes a dot unit that can be played in dot comps.
there's also his stat needs—he's absolutely going to want spd because of his abysmal base spd stat so 2pc hackerspace is already a must (maxed spd boost only bring him to 128 spd); he wants 140% total ehr which would require an ehr chest piece unless you have great subs and have him at e0s1 to ease the stat need—but at the same time he gets 240% atk from maxing out 140% ehr, which brings into question which build would be more ideal. it's also unfortunate because the atk% bonus just goes back to his atk stat instead of buffing his total outgoing dmg like BS's "ehr to dmg bonus" trace.
if you want to get to 140%: traces (28%)+ehr body (43.2%)+sig lc (60%)+ipc planar set (10%) which gets you to EXACTLY 141.2% ehr. which basically means you can focus on other subs and ignore ehr. if you go without the ehr body then you're at 98% ehr and you'd need 42% ehr in subs which, realistically, isn't particularly hard... but at the same time his atk% stat will already be extremely bloated from his trace so there isn't much point to an atk% body unless you want to go, like 4k atk jiaoqiu or something, and at that point the only reason you'd do that is for his e2 to play him in dot comps.
the thing that annoys me the most is the spd stats in his traces. why not just make him 103 base spd and make those trace nodes something else instead, like eff res or even def/hp if he needs it. idk it just think that part is really fucking stupid. anyways hiiiiiiiiii this is my bloggggg

Bummed about "Johnny," need to get my John Saxon and Radice signed Cannibal Apocalypse poster framed. Busy as shit w/ work, made insane bank over the weekend and set to do it again. Totally down w/ being flavor of the month. Finally made an appointment to get my eyes checked and get new script + frames. I can't wait to be coke bottle Martha Scorsese in a few weeks. What else is going on? Behind in my reading (see eye issues above) and way behind in movies. Treated myself to a day off and spent it in bed with the cat, 400 pillows, 3 mattress toppers, quality linens. We watched The 'Burbs (comfort food) and a 2 hr Sammy "The Bull" Gravano documentary and an Ed Kemper bio. Geeked out when I realized that the cop at the end of Burbs' is Kevin Gage of Strangeland. Gonna go find "The Handlebar" episode of Kitchen Nightmares for the Dee Snider cameo. "It's a disastah."
Pretty sure I'm giving up on the discord thing for movie night. My OCD doesn't permit me to do things half assed and between work and life I can't get a gd thing done.
If anyone else is interested in hosting I'm super down for helping or just showing up to have fun and talk some shit.
This time of year makes me think about graduating high school and all the small town bs that comes with it. Senior skip day swimming in the strip pits and graduation parties for weeks. Waking up in some older boy's car w/ your panties on inside out & backwards.
I ran off to Utah and lived at the base of the mountains in Provo awhile. It was 106° when I got there but sure enough, it felt like 72.°
Hope everyone's lips are above the waterline.

5. Do you respond to comments?
I always start out trying to respond to everything when i post a new fic, but then i get overwhelmed pretty quick. lo siento mucho.
6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I don't usually go for angsty endings tbh! I like a lot of angst in the middle, or i go for kind of bittersweet endings.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
probably that star wars one; force awakens had just come out and i was one of many kylo ren woobifiers who wanted him to have accepted han's invite to come home.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
The most hate i've gotten is on a Different star wars fic where i made Luke trans and some people were Not happy. luckily, i have a permit (i can do what I want).
9. Do you write smut?
yeah lol. i don't post a lot of it though; most of the time i just share it with my discord friends.
10. Do you write crossovers?
all the time all the time babey.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
yes i've been notified 2 or 3 times that someone copied my stuff onto wattpad or ffnet. i usually go report them but don't care enough to follow up.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
I don't think so? not that I can remember. I've had one or two podficced though iirc.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
nnnnot a finished one. my friends and i do a lot of half fic writing and half rp that usually doesn't turn into a polished product (but it's still fun <3).
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
ALL TIME FAVORITE FLYNN AND LUCY TIMELESS. i've never written fic for them and the show isn't even GOOD but god the way they look like "she fixed him" bs on the surface but really they're each so perfect to make up for the other's shortcomings. also i always wanted so badly for someone to tell her to get her dog on a leash <3
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?
ahaha,,,, the good omens roleswap fic is burning a hole in my document folder. i have an outline i just have no inspiration/motivation :(
16. What are your writing strengths?
characterization; particularly I've gotten the feedback that i'm good at writing characters in different circumstances from canon while keeping their personalities both Intact and Logically Justifiable.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
ending things, both in the sense that i start a lot of stuff and don't finish it, and the sense that i usually have too many ideas and don't know how/where to cut off a plot.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?
google translate always does me dirty so now i usually just write the dialogue in english and use a dialogue tag like "she said in *insert language*"
19. First fandom you wrote for?
iiiiii think it was Rise of the Guardians! before that i mostly did over-dramatic RP on the cricket magazine forums where i had characters like a half-dragon bounty hunter.
20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?
probably the ishvalan elrics fic! fma is already full of a lot of meaty concepts, and it was fun re-conceptualizing the canon plot and character beats while keeping the arching plot intact. stuff like that is like a puzzle to me, it's very satisfying when i finish one and it gets positive feedback!
tagging anyone who wants to do it, because im. so sleepy rn

Astra Shepard's First Reactions to her Squadmates/Major Crew Members
These are just her FIRST IMPRESSIONS of them, and are not necessarily how she feels about them once she gets to know them.
Joker- Before she was even able to introduce herself to him, she overheard him snark about something and was absolutely delighted. Immediately decided she needed to befriend him at all costs.
Kaidan- A solid, friendly soldier that's competent at what he does. She is intrigued at how he uses his biotics.
Ashley- Astra is very impressed that she survived the geth for so long, on her own. Also feels a lot of sympathy for her obvious grief over her unit.
Garrus- First meeting, she's somewhat intrigued by the fact he was investigating Saren, and emphasizes with the fact that higher ups are trying to stop the investigation. Second meeting, she is EXTREMELY impressed by that shot he makes to save Michel. She's a sniper herself, after all.
Tali- Immediately decides she's going to befriend this quarian after seeing her keep her cool and fight off the mercs trying to creep on her without even knowing they were there as backup.
Wrex- She actually doesn't meet him until after taking out Fist, since she went after Garrus first and things moved fast from there. She's completely shocked that he gives her the pay he got for Fist instead of keeping it for himself, and that's the biggest reason why she lets him join them.
Liara- It takes Astra a hot minute to reconcile the fact that Liara's 106 years old since she seems so much younger than her. Regardless, she's really concerned about her, given what Benezia is doing, though she fully believes that Liara has no part in her mother's actions.
Jacob- It takes her a long time to get past the fact that he used to be part of an Alliance black ops team but chose to join Cerberus.
Miranda- Astra is only comfortable turning her back on her because she doesn't think Miranda would spend two years rebuilding her only to kill her right afterwards. (Her opinion does turn around faster than Jacob, though.)
EDI- She's not happy about the Cerberus programmed AI. She does immediately make it a point to talk to EDI and see what the restrictions are though, and quickly comes to realize that EDI is lowkey frustrated by all the blocks she has on her systems. She has a lot of sympathy for her after that, and does her best to work with EDI after that.
Mordin- She's extremely impressed that he managed to keep a clinic on Omega of all places running without gang influence, and that he managed to come up with a cure for a disease so fast.
Jack- "What the fuck did Cerberus do to her???" Would never admit it to her for fear of her reactoon, but feels a lot of pity towards her.
Grunt- "What the fuck am I supposed to do with a baby clone krogan created by an insane guy? Someone please get me Wrex's number so I can ask for advice..."
Thane- Honestly? It takes Astra a while to reconcile the fact that Thane is polite and amicable... and an assassin. She does still call Jacob out for caring about the assassin and not, say, Zaeed though, and keeps her opinions to herself (and maybe Garrus and/or Tali).
Samara- She's a too polite to call BS on the whole "Justicar Code" thing, but she's still thinking it. She is very relieved to finally get another dossier for someone that's not a criminal or mad scientist though.
Legion- Is actually extremely suspicious of this geth as it goes against everything she's seen of the geth so far. She is willing to see where this goes though, and is intrigued about the various factions synthetics can have.
James- Astra really only gives him a chance because Anderson personally appointed him as her guard. Does think he's a solid soldier and gives him a lot of brownie points for not caring about the whole Cerberus thing though.
Samantha Traynor- Thinks she's really cute actually, and immediately decides to befriend her.
Steve Cortez- A really solid, professional guy, "Thank god we have someone other than James to fly the shuttle!"
Javik- Astra mainly has this dawning horror as she realizes exactly what Javik's entire life was like. She resolves to keep an eye on him to make sure he adjusts as well as possible to this new world.

NOTES History An ascii manual page appeared in Version 7 of AT&T UNIX. On older terminals, the underscore code is displayed as a left arrow, called backarrow, the caret is displayed as an up-arrow and the verti‐ cal bar has a hole in the middle. Uppercase and lowercase characters differ by just one bit and the ASCII character 2 differs from the double quote by just one bit, too. That made it much easier to encode characters mechanically or with a non-mi‐ crocontroller-based electronic keyboard and that pairing was found on old teletypes. The ASCII standard was published by the United States of America Stan‐ dards Institute (USASI) in 1968.

Tuskegee Airman Lieutenant Colonel Herbert Eugene Carter (September 27, 1919 - November 8, 2012) was one of the original thirty-three Tuskegee Airmen. He flew seventy-seven missions with fellow Tuskegee Airmen during WWII. He was born to Ann Sykes Carter and George Washington Carter in Amory, Mississippi. He enrolled at Tuskegee Institute. He was accepted into the program in late 1941 and graduated as a member of the fourth class. He was assigned to the 99th Fighter Squadron. He married Mildred Hemmons who was a pilot at the time.
He was sent to North Africa where he flew the first of his seventy-seven combat missions against the German and Italian aircraft. As the war front moved to Sicily and Italy, he engaged in air combat. He flew in the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk and Republic P-47 Thunderhawk. The 99th Pursuit Squadron flew more than 3,000 missions in Europe when they destroyed almost 300 enemy planes. Eighty-eight of the group’s pilots received the Distinguished Flying Cross.
He returned to the US and became a test pilot for experimental fighter aircraft at Wright Field. He became the Professor of Air Science and Commander of the Tuskegee Institute’s ROTC Detachment. He took his teaching skills overseas to the German Air Force as the Deputy Director of the US Military Advisory Group. He became Chief of Maintenance of the 328th Fighter Wing stationed at Homestead Air Force Base, where he managed maintenance of over 60 aircraft and supervised more than 700 personnel.
He joined the Army Air Corps before completing college, he resumed his studies at Tuskegee, where he received a BS in Industrial Education and an MA in Administration.
He was assigned to Loring AFB in Maine to provide maintenance expertise as the Air Force tested the Convair F-106 Delta Dart fighter-interceptor aircraft. He retired from the Air Force in 1969 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He served as Associate Dean of Student Services and Administration at Tuskegee University.
He received the Chevalier Legion of Honor which was France’s highest honor. He was presented with the Congressional Gold Medal. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence

Einheit 4: Funktion und Aufbau von Archivsystemen (Teil 2 und 3)
ISAD(G)
Records in Context (RiC)
