So there is no way that the New Directions should have beat the Troubletones performance at Sectionals based on what we see. But, ND performs 3 numbers, and we only see one by the Troubletones. So I posit that it is an unseen Troubletones number that lost them the competition. And I have 5 words for you on how it happened:
