Ahh, finally all the holiday parties and prep and shipping and travels and colds (and more colds) are over, and I can get back to work on my projects. I've been fantasizing about getting back to "my projects" like an old lady yearning for time to watch her soap operas. Time to hunker down and draw animals.

Two mountain bongo calves were born at The African Safari Wildlife Park in Ohio on June 18th and 23, 2023.
Native to Kenya, the mountain bongo is critically endangered with only about 100 left in the wild.

Early 2018 I made daily drawings for a little while. Photo studies scribbled in the edge of my notebook, with a short something about the day. I wasn't in the best of places back then. A few days ago I came across that notebook again. I still love those drawings so I wanted to share some with you. Perhaps they can mean something to you too.
