Air compressors are used in many different industries and for many purposes. Air compressors are used to compress large volume of air to a much smaller and compact space by decreasing the space available for air molecules and in turn increasing the pressure at which these air molecules collide. Different types of air compressors are employed for different applications/purposes/needs.
A simple way to think about an air compressor is that it’s a mechanical device in which electrical or mechanical energy becomes pressurized air. How does an air compressor work? It is like this: In a gas (air), without any temperature difference, if you increase the pressure, then its volume reduces. By reducing the volume of a gas, the reduction results in an increase in pressure.

Vom Norden nach Süden: 1. Im Norden, an die Grenze zu Kosovo und Montenegro gibt die Albanische Alpen mit ein paar Nationalparks. Erwähnenswert sind hier der Nationalpark von Theth/Valbona, die empfehlenswert für Bergwanderung ist. Es gibt einen klassischen Tour, wobei man von Shkoder (größte Stadt der Region) über den tollen Komani und Fierza See nach Valbona gefahren wird und von dort nach Theth gewandert wird. Bei Interesse kann ich mich nach Agenturen erkundigen. Pristina ist die nette kleine Hauptstadt. Wie in vielen anderen Städten in dem Balkan, ist in Sommer sehr viel los und die Menschen sind hip und entspannt. In Prishtina sind unter anderem 2 bekannte Beispiele des ehem.jugoslavischen Brutalismus: die Nationalbibliothek und der Palast des Sportes. Etwas näher an Albanien ist Prizren, eine kleine Stadt, voller Moschen, Kirchen und kleinen Häusern mit roten Dächern. 4.Tirana <3 Hier kommt ein separater Eintrag. 5.Durres ist die zweitgrößte Stadt von Albanien, der größte Hafen und seit fast 3000 Jahren kontinuierlich bewohnt. Einzelne Sachen aus der Ursprungszeit sind erhalten, z.B. der Amphiteather von Kaiser Hadrian mit 15.000 Plätzen. Vieles ist leider überbaut worden. Durres grenzt zum Westen an dem Adriatischen Meer. Keine besonders schönes Meer, aber es hat seine gute Stellen. Unter anderem, wenn man durch die Stadt fährt, gibt es Currilat. Die Küste ist hier eher begrünt und bietet einige gute Lokalen und Restaurants. Etwas weiter Richtung Norden gibt es den Gjiri i Lalzit. Es ist Sandstrand, aber gute Infrastruktur und sehr nah an Tirana falls man wenig Zeit in Albanien verbringen will. 6.So: jetzt bisschen Kultur. Von Tirana auf dem Weg nach Süd / Südwesten kommt irgendwann, nach anderthalb / zwei Stunden die Stadt Fier. Nun in Fier gibt es nichts zu sehen, aber Fier ist eine Art Kreuzung für drei interessante Stellen: 6.1.Fier führt nach Berat. Berat ist eine am Berg gebaute, durch den Osum Fluss durchflossene, in 17Jh. osmanische Architektur erbaute, 2000 Jahre Alte Stadt. Sie ist komplett Unesco-geschützt, und wenn ihr dorthin fährt, wisst ihr warum. In Berat gibt es unzählige wunderschöne Tempeln, u.a. Sankt Michaels Kirche aus dem 13.Jh, der Dom zu Heilige Maria mit tollen Fresken oder die Blei Moschee aus dem Jahr 1555. Jh in byzantischer Stil, reich mit östlich-christlichen Fresken und bekannt bei uns weil Gjergj Kastrioti (s. Gegründet von Korinther, bewohnt gleichzeit von Illyrern, wurde es nach dem Apollo - der Sonnenkönig - genannt. Neben Korça auch interessant: das Nationalpark von Prespa am Prespasee und die post-byzantinischen Kirchen von Voskopoja und Vithkuq, beide mit Fresken aus bekannten albanischen Malern aus den 17. Hier kann man kayaken und raften und auf den Bergen wandern. http://www.visitskrapar.com/home/ 9.Ab Vlora (das ist die drittgrößte Stadt Albaniens) fängt das Ionische Meer. Wer Zeit hat, sollte sich ruhig Zeit für die hiesige Riviera nehmen: die Strände sind weiss, steinig und das Meer türkis. In Vlora gibt es ein paar kleine Moscheen aus dem 16.Jh. Allerdings ist die Stadt eher bekannt für seine italienisch beeinflusste Küche und als Übergang zu den vielen kleinen Dörfern und Stränden. Man fährt von Vlorë über Rradhimë und Orikum, hoch den Llogara Berg hinauf. Das ist ein heiliger Ort für Fleischfresser: man kriegt meist riesige Tellern frisch gegrillten Rindfleisch (Paidhaqe), Joghurt, Byrek etc. Von Llogara beginnt der sehr schöne Weg hinab mit tollem Meeresblick. Ab hier fängt eine Reihe kleinen Dörfern an: Palasë Dhërmi und Drymadhes Gjipe (mit dem Auto bis zu einem gewissen Punkt erreichbar, danach 10-15min Fussweg) Jalë Livadh Himarë Porto Palermo Qeparo Borsh Das Meer ist überall der gleiche. Mein Stand ist dass Palasa, Jala und Dhërmi/Drymadhes eher für junge Leute ist. Drymadhes und Dhërmi haben die meisten Infrastruktur, mehr Restaurants und sind teurer als der Rest. Hier gibt es sowohl Camping Bereiche als auch Hotels mit Pools oder sogar Hotels mit schnellem Zugang zum Wasser. Es gibt auch BnBs, ich würde mich aber lieber an Sachen die über booking.com o.Ä. auffindbar sind. Der Sommer bzw. die Wochenenden im Sommer sind oft ausgebucht, also wer hierher möchte, sollte lieber vorher buchen. Und kleine Warnung: das Preisniveau ist höher als z.B. in Tirana. Wer länger unterwegs ist, am darauffogenden Wochenende gibt es den Turtle Fest - ein Elektro Festival am Strand. https://www.facebook.com/turtlefest Ahja. Von Vlora, kann gibt es möglichkeiten Tagestouren zum Karaburun Halbinsel und Sazan Insel (Sazan war bis vor wenigen Jahren Militärstützpunkt und für Öffentlichkeit gesperrt). Diese sind leere Orte, eben ohne Infrastruktur. Bei Interesse kann ich den Kontakt zu Agenturen vermitteln.
10.Schliesslich, ganz im Süden gibt es Saranda, kleine Stadt die seit 2 Jahren sogar Kreuzfahrtsschiffsanhaltepunkt geworden ist. Wenn n dem Tag kein Kreuzfahrtsschiff auftaucht, sollte man unbedingt nach Ksamil fahren wegen dem tollen Stränden und den kleinen Inseln. Weiter südlich befindet sich die UNESCO geschützte antike Stadt, Butrint. Das ist ein riesiger archäologischer Park, einst eine wichtige altgriechische, später römische, Stadt und irgendwann venezianischer Stützpunkt. 11.Schliesslich die schöne Stadt von Gjirokastra, von der Architektur her, verwandt mit Berat (beide haben osmanische Architektur des XVI-XVII Jahrzehnts). Wer Berat nicht schafft, sollte auf jeden Fall nach Gjirokastra. “Fun” Fact- der bekannteste Schriftsteller Albaniens, mehrmals für ein Nobel nominiert, Ismail Kadare, und der ehemalige Diktator, Enver Hoxha, wurden beide hier geboren.
