“You really want to give me that much power?” she asked. She liked when she got to pick the movies. She was sure however that it terrified Iain. “That sounds perfect to me. Cake, champagne, movies, some of my favorite things.”

I mean I love my adoptive parents but he was really the one that raised us after they took us in. And i guess i get the best of both worlds. I get to be the little sister but also the big sister for Silas” 

“I think in a really bizarre way Iain is always prepared for whatever I throw his way,” she confessed. He always seemed to take her wild plans in stride and was used to it all by now. “I guess that’s why I go around and start adopting younger ladies and taking them in under my wing. Big sister instincts are there, but I had to go find people to be all sisterly to them.”

She nodded in agreement. “Yeah, Tequila’s great, I’ve just been personally victimized by it one too many times. Sad Alba and Tequila do not mix well. Sad Alba and whiskey though?” She dangled her glass between two fingers and shrugged. “Works out just fine for me.”

“Ireland does produce some wonderful, wonderful things,” Siobhan said with a small nod. “I don’t think alcohol and sadness really mix period. I don’t do well being sad and drunk. I just manage to cry and look like an idiot if I get too drunk.”

I think he probably has some traumatic flashbacks to back when all I listened to was the American Idiot album on repeat. I got drunk once and made him promise to play Letterbomb at my funeral.”

Alba felt bad. Worse than bad, if she was being honest, but it didn’t make her want to let her emotional dam break and confess to Siobhan everything that had happened in the past couple weeks. Her mother, her job… She loved Shiv like the big sister she never had, but that was a load she had to bear in silence. “Jameson, straight up.” She said, gesturing to her empty glass. “Tequila seemed too cliche.”

Siobhan nodded in approval at her choices. “The Irish make the best whiskey after all,” she said with a grin. “I mean the others can try and make a worthy adversary, but they just can’t top it completely.” She had some strong opinions on whiskey. “I love tequila though. Tequila mixes so well with fruity drinks. It’s like heaven.”

“The only time I am ever going to dress as a slutty nurse will be if a really cute guy is ill and needs care, but never on Halloween. You’re right though. You could make it a drinking game.”

“I know.” Alba muttered out before she took another drink, scrunching her face at the burning sensation that she felt. “It’s like just serve the drink and spare me the faux moral bullshit.” She knew she sounded meaner than usual, it wasn’t her intention. But her mood wasn’t going anywhere, even as she tipped back the last of her drink and felt her mind cloud over in a wonderful fog. “Honestly, Shiv? I really, really hate that question right now.”

Siobhan nodded. She understood why someone wouldn’t like that question, but sometimes it was a good reason to ask it. Siobhan decided now might not be the best time to press with her questions. “What’re you drinking?” she asked, switching the subject for now.

7. do they wake up groggy or alert? do they like mornings?

Siobhan has to sit for thirty minutes before she can actually properly function. She likes mornings in theory, but when she’s up she just can’t really deal. 

23. how do they show fear? sweating, shaking, blankness, anger, etc?

She kind of shuts down in really, really bad situations that don’t require her to act per se, like when her mother died. Iain really brought her back from that. 

39. do they have siblings? if so, how many? do they like them?

@iainfitzpatrick aka the best sibling. She doesn’t just like him. She loves him. He’s her favorite person.

She’s pretty content with it. It’s not her ideal wildest dreams, but it’s not too bad either.

More like when has she not? She’s used to it at this point. She’s not the kind of person who gets asked on second dates because she’s “too intense.” She doesn’t know why she even tries anymore honestly. She has some really bad luck.
