so my brain hasn’t given me any specific era today, it’s kind of bounced all over the place. i briefly thought about belle’s second birthday, and maurice having the courage (and the means) to bake a tiny little cake for her (that she classically eats by just grabbing fistfuls with her hand. and it makes maurice laugh, which is still such a rarity for him at this point… 🥹)

but then i thought about like, okay what if i just added seven years from the point of the movie because the movie came out seven years ago. what would THAT birthday be!!

so, seven years later, in my lovely little world, would be belle’s 27th birthday 🥳 she and adam would be married for seven years in september, renée would have just turned five, and juliette would still be two, turning three in july. oh and adam is 28 but will be 29 in august!

this is a cute birthday!!! cute little darlings!!! renée, being five, would be ALL OVER this. probably the first birthday of her mother’s that she’s like Fully aware of and wanting to participate in. i think leading up to it, she’d be with her grandfather many extra afternoons, making some special craft birthday gift. adam would also seek renée’s opinion on which flowers to pick from the garden for her. (he already has a boatload of gifts planned, of course, so he’s fine with renée’s input for this part, lmao.) juliette’s probably just happy to be here ☺️☺️ probably on belle’s hip a lot of the day, giving extra birthday snuggles to mama🥰💚 i’m sure most of the day is spent outside. picnics and walks and horseback rides !! (not juliette, of course, but renée LOVES horses at this point.) i’m sure at one point her and belle go on a long ride with philippe, while adam takes a break with lil juliette in the garden 🤧 sylvie’s around too, either chasing after belle & ren, or chilling with adam & jules. dealer’s choice 😉💜

after a BELOVED family dinner (which obviously includes plumiere and little sebastian, the pottses, cogsworth, and the cadenzas, OF COURSE) there is Definitely a ball that takes place in the evening. renée is BUMMED that she doesn’t get to go. but it’s grown-ups only!! sorry macaron!!💖 the girlies go spend time with their nanny colette until it’s bedtime, getting lots of goodnight hugs & kisses from mama and papa 🥰💕 and the ball is lovely !!! as always !!! as mentioned, madame de garderobe and maestro cadenza are HERE !! taking time out of their incredibly busy touring schedules to celebrate their favorite person in the world🎉🎉 so they do a phenomenal show and serenade the dances wonderfully. adam hardly lets his wife go for even a moment, never wanting to stop dancing with her, especially on her special day!!! 🤧🌹 gah, it’s such a lovely night. everyone is so happy to celebrate their beloved queen belle annalise 😭💞

and, ya know, i’m sure adam has a few birthday gifts left to give his darling belle that night… but i’ll just leave it there😉
