मुंबई: टीम इंडिया की मंगलवार को ऑस्‍ट्रेलिया पर ऐतिहासिक टेस्‍ट सीरीज जीत के बाद भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (बीसीसीआई) के सचिव जय शाह ने घोषणा की है कि टीम को 5 करोड़ रुपए का बोनस दिया जाएगा। रिषभ पंत (89*) की उम्‍दा पारी की बदौलत टीम इंडिया ने मंगलवार को गाबा में खेले गए चौथे व अंतिम टेस्‍ट में तीन विकेट से मात दी। भारत ने ऑस्‍ट्रेलिया का गाबा पर 32 साल का राज खत्‍म करते हुए अंतिम दिन मुकाबला जीता और सीरीज 2-1 से अपने नाम की। ऑस्‍ट्रेलिया को 32 साल बाद गाबा में पहली टेस्‍ट शिकस्‍त झेलने को मिली।

जय शाह ने ट्वीट किया, ‘बीसीसीआई घोषणा करता है कि टीम बोनस के रूप में 5 करोड़ रुपए दिए जाएंगे। यह भारतीय क्रिकेट के लिए विशेष पल है। चरित्र और कौशल का उत्कृष्ट प���रदर्शन।’

शाह ने पूरी टीम के सच्‍चे चरित्र, लची��ेपन और धैर्य की तारीफ की जबकि सीरीज के दौरान टीम ने 8 प्रमुख खिलाड़‍ियों को खोया। शाह ने ट्वीट किया, ‘टीम इंडिया ने इस बॉर्डर-गावस्‍कर ट्रॉफी में लचीलापन, धैर्य और दृढ़ संकल्‍प जैसे शब्‍दों को दोबारा परिभाषित किया है। आपने पूरे देश को प्रेरित किया है। शाबाश अजिंक्‍य रहाणे, रवि शास्‍त्री और सभी लड़कों। विशेष उल्‍लेख रिषभ पंत, मोहम्‍मद सिराज और शुभमन गिल का।’

ऐतिहासिक जीत

भारतीय टीम को गाबा टेस्‍ट के आखिरी दिन जीत के लिए 324 रन की दरकार थी। मेहमान टीम की शुरूआत अच्‍छी नहीं रही क्‍योंकि रोहित शर्मा (7) जल्‍दी पवेलियन लौट गए। मगर इसके बाद शुभमन गिल (91), चेतेश्‍वर पुजारा (56) और रिषभ पंत (89*) ने उम्‍दा पारियां खेलकर भारत को ब्रिस्‍बेन में सबसे बड़े लक्ष्‍य का सफल पीछा कराने में मदद की।

भारतीय टीम ने अपने टेस्‍ट इतिहास में तीसरे सबसे बड़े लक्ष्‍य का सफल पीछा किया। इससे पहले 1975/76 में पोर्ट ऑफ स्‍पेन में वेस्‍टइंडीज के खिलाफ 406 और फिर 2008/09 में चेन्‍नई में इंग्‍लैंड के खिलाफ 387 रन के लक्ष्‍य का सफल पीछा किया था। टीम इंडिया ने ऑस्‍ट्रेलिया में दूसरी बार टेस्‍ट सीरीज अपने नाम की। इसी के साथ भारतीय टीम ने बॉर्डर-गावस्‍कर ट्रॉफी अपने पास बरकरार रखी। इससे पहले विराट कोहली के नेतृत्‍व में भारत ने 2018/19 में ऑस्‍ट्रेलिया को उसके घर में 2-1 से रौंदा था।
